Thirteen Thursday # 20

I bought the 2007 Llwellyn Witches Calendar and I think it total fastening. So I thought I would try to learn some pagan important dates in January and what I learn I’ll share it with you.

1. January 4th is when Aquarian Tabernacle church registered in Australia, 1994.
To me it seems that only religion they real recognized in the United States is Christianity, Judaism, and slowly coming around and recognizing Islam.
I don’t if we Pagan are a afraid to noticed as a religion or we like our privacy. Honest time...I don’t have any desire to sell my spiritual belief on anyone.
And I’m a little apprehensive to let people know about my belief because I don’t want to listen to them and tell me why “I’m wrong”

2. January 5th
Christianity was introduced to England by Augustine of Canterbury under the eyes of Pope Gregory I . I’m starting wonder when Pope Gregory I send Augustine to England what promotion of Christianity they sent Jesus or Paul.
Statement time...I want to read the gospel of Thomas and Mary Magdalen someday

3. January 6th Patricia Crowther of England airs a radio show called “a spell of witch craft”
The only type of religion radio show I hear up in North Idaho is “ Everyone is sinning and we all heading to hell”
When the nights are longer I get a chance to listen to Bernie Ward and God Talk

4. Janauary 8th is MacGregor Mathers birthday. Never heard of this person before.

5. January 9th Jamie Dodge fired by the Salvation Army for her wiccan beliefs. I’ve heard of this case but wasn’t quite sure when it took place.
Confession time...At one time I wouldn’t support any LDS business because of their promation of prejudiced
I now try to look at people as individuals not as categories. I also try to find good in all.

6. January 12th Mary Smith is hung... The year was 1616. Mary Smith lived on the outskirts of a village near Kings Lynn in Norfolk. It was late afternoon and she was busy in her kitchen making cheese and muttering to herself. Her three cats looked on half-asleep. She had been living on her own for years now, since her husband had died. Her children were living in the town nearby and never came to see her. As she muttered she threw herbs into her cooking pot that was bubbling away on the fire. She had a shawl about her shoulders to keep her warm. Her hair was coarse and shot through with streaks of grey. Her face was lined and her cheeks sunken, for she had only a few rotten teeth left. Her cottage was in need of some repairs, but she couldn’t afford to have them done. The small payments she received from the villagers for her cheese just about kept body and soul together. Mary Smith was a hardworking woman just going about her daily business as usual.

Suddenly, there was a thunderous hammering on the door that shook the cottage. It made her jump and her startled cats vanished into the dark recesses of the cottage. Mary slowly made her way to the door and upon opening it was bowled over by the burly men-at-arms as they rushed in. They grabbed her and shouted, ‘we are arresting you on charges of witchcraft.’
Poor Mary was totally bewildered as she was dragged outside to the waiting cart. ‘What about my cats,’ she wailed. ‘Never mind your cats you witch, get into the cart,’ shouted one of the men-at-arms. Unceremoniously Mary was bundled into the cart and roughly tied up. Cries from the villagers of 'you evil witch, we shall come and see you hang,' followed Mary as the cart left the village, bound for Kings Lynn.

Unfortunately for Mary, the witch-finder was in the local town, and he was paid a fee for each execution. Mary Smith was thrown into jail. Here, Mary was stripped to the waist and searched to see if she had a third nipple, a sure sign of a witch. Her jailers could find no such sign. Nevertheless, she was severely interrogated, tortured and spent days in solitary confinement, without food or water before she ‘confessed’ to the charges; that she had been approached by the devil, in the shape of a black man, who had offered her revenge on her neighbours, because they was jealous of their cheesemaking. She was taken before the witch finder who relentlessly and without remorse interrogated her and found Mary guilty of practicing the evils of witchcraft.

Three days later, crying and wailing her innocence on the scaffold, she was hanged..
I guess narrow minded people still among us

7. January 13th final Witchcraft law repeal in Austria 1787. Couldn’t find anything in debt about this.
If anyone know about this please let us all know

8. January 16th Is the Birthday of Dennis Carpenter who is one founders of Circle of Sanctury. Confession I wish I could fine more about him personal but ran up against a brick wall

9. January 19th The birth of Dorothy Clutterbuck

10. January 20th Sun enters Aquarius. Startment...that’s sign I was born under

11. Beginning of tree month of Rowen, he Rowan Tree.. 21 January - 17 February - Rowans were planted near doors and gates to ward off evil and were thought to guard the gateway to the spirit world. Rowan people are idealistic, progressive thinkers with strong humanitarian and spiritual principles. They thrive on change, becoming impatient with convention or restriction, artistic and original, they can appear detached and aloof.
The Ruling Deity - Brigid, the Goddess of fertility and poetry, rules this sign.
The Druic Animal - The Dragon symbolises inspiration and imagination - Rowans need an outlet for their powerful imagination or they can become restless and quarrelsome. Planetary Ruler - Uranus Ogham Word - Luis...I’m also fell out of this tree.

12. January 30 Birthday of Zsuzanna.

13. Other interesting dates for January

Mush For Brains

My brain feels like mush. I found out that my doctor is moving over to Whitefish Montana because she recently got married.
So I decided to go and talk to her about the medication I’ve been on. We decided to keep everything as is except I’ll increase my dosage of zoloft from 50 mg to 100 mg.
When I first taking zoloft I felt like I smoked a bunch of Maui Wowie and I pretty well felt like that today.
Bart to took his driver test and at that time he couldn’t find the car registration and to find out it was expired. He called me so I could look for the registration and my brain was in the mush stage that I looked in the fridge for the paper work. Oh I’m glad when this faze of the med goes away. Confession time...At one time I didn’t mind smoking pot but it seems everytime I did someone wants me to do something and when your brain is in the mush stage it all most impossible to do anything and I don’t like that feeling

What I’m hoping in about 3 months that I can cut back to 50 mg and then some time in September cut back 25 mg and then some time next year at this time be complete off the zoloft

I was talking to my doctor and telling her I felt burn out on my job and at home basically I do the same thing there that I do here.
Callie is a person who needs a crystal ball and when her Fibromyalgia is real acting up and she needs help with every day tasks.
But when it isn’t acting up she only needs someone to come in a do the heavier stuff

When June comes I’m out the home care and want to focus more of time on ceramics and home. I need a spreadsheets software to do my business. Does anyone know what a good program. I drought my ceramic business will make the fortune 500 club so I need a software that does a spreadsheet for a small business.
The other day I was looking for some light weight shelves for part of display booth but I’m not sure what I’m looking for untill I see it. I know it got to be light weight and easy to put together.
I’ve look at increase my glaze inventory I know I’ll need a gallon of clear glaze which I see is $25.00. I like to buy 6 other colors but I’m not sure what I’ll get.
I’ll need some undercoats and I like the covercoats because you paint them on greenware and I feel it goes on a lot smoother.
I want 8 covercoats but once again I need to figure out what color. Then I’ll need a black e-z stroke and one other e-z stoke I’m thinking more of a lighter brown.
With this I should have a fairly a good start to start to built my inventory up.

Christmas Without a Hitch, Part 2

Christmas Eve at my in-law Heinz and Faith went real well. Even with Murphy and his brother Earl.
I don’t recall who exactly was at our table I know Quincy and her boy friend Cyrus was their and Earl was to my right a setting was in between us..
In dinner time conversation we were sort of talking political correctness. I had slight opportunity to throw salt at Earl.
I don’t know when the exact moment came up. You see if you stand up for at anytime some of my in laws thinks your being mean.
To them it better to let other shit on you.
Confession time...I know I said something like “Some people consider stand up for one self or having a back bone is being mean.
I don’t know if others said the word “mean” but Murphy gets hurt when he here’s the word mean.
Honest time...among the younger children I don’t know how many time I heard different name calling words was exchange. I know the word meanie came up a few times.
Murphy at this point was happy with how Christmas Eve went and for now don’t want to much contact with his brother Earl.
As long as Earl Mother in law Ulanda is living here which she but a wedge in the family.
I guess Murphy felt short change by his brother Earl for not standing up to his wife and or his mother in law.
Confession time...I’m glad that Murphy was happy how things went with his brother.

As I was making a ginger cake to take over for Christmas Eve my sister in law Faith called and ask us what we we’re doing Christmas.
We had no big plans to do anything yet. We had a small Turkey defrosting in the fridge. So she invited us over for Christmas dinner.
Nothing big only 14 their.
In the morning Murphy and I stop and watch Faith Grandkids open present what some will do for cheap entertainment.
Honest time...It drive me nuts when people don’t have plans and do things basically at last moment
My sister in law Faith said she isn’t much into planning and she says that Heinz family is more into planning.
My Father in law Dewayne wasn’t a planner not one eye odie. One evening we were sitting down to eat dinner and he called and asked Murphy if he could help him hang rafters and Murphy said “ I’ m about to set down to dinner and I’ll be up in an hour” So Dewayne reply was “Just fuckin forget it.” So we did.
I like to have things some what planned out and I learn from being married in this family to have some bend.
I had a great time both day Heinz and I played Cribbage He won both games and I didn’t get skunked

Statement time...I need to be careful on using the word mean or any form of, it real bothers Murphy

Christmas Without a Hitch

Christmas eve and Christmas went off without a hitch. At Christmas Eve dinner they was 24 of us. The only thing I know that the children out number the old farts, which I’m a part of now.

I’m quite happy what I got in old farts exchange. I got a night lamp so I can have light by my side of the bed. Now I can read at night.
Murphy got two white coffee mugs, with two candles in them, and tully’s coffee. Since Sawyer is 18 he join the old farts in the drawing he got some oreo cookies and Honest time...I was a little disappointed I was hoping that he would of got something useful since he will be down in Courd’alene next fall.

Sawyer is still in teenager drawing and he got a 2 pocket knife and with multi of small tools and the other a single blade knife.

Murphy gave out extra large bath towels and one of his nieces got it. I got a mini chopper that my sister in law Faith got. And Sawyer brought a wrist watch and Faith daughter Quincy boyfriend Cyrus got it

Prayer To Live In "Now"

My lovely creators.

Show me the will of not judging for future deeds they may or may not come around. Let me see the kindness in all even so small.
I know you gave as all flicker of peace and love in all. I need to see this flicker.

Not to show angry for those who shows us ill and in their hearts unforgivness toward others.
Let me see the good in them.
As I know the creator makes each and everyone of us, with faults so we can be more and grow

Give me strength to offer my spirit in peace to all even those who can’t find it in their heart to forgive and not to look for faults on anyone

I love all, I’m at peace with all, and the world is good

I’m asking anyone for a pray of strength

Little but Nothing Real Important

I think Murphy and I are done with insulating the basement where the house sets on it’s foundation.
This afternoon Murphy and Bart put plastic in the windows of the basement which are single pane.

Not sure what project we will be doing next. One thing we need to get is a car engine for the Nova.
I’d like to start building anther set of shelves so I can get most of my molds organize so I can start casting ceramics.
Confession time...I’m getting real sick of my job
I think if we get the other 2 project done I’ll be satisfy and more the better.

I start to make plop salad to take to my sister in-law place for Christmas Eve dinner.

Plop Salad

Night before make angel food cake. If you buy one it can wait until the next day.
Also the night before make 2 pkgs of strawberry jell-o add slice strawberries and bananas as you would any fruit to jell-o
The following morning tear up your angel food cake and stir it in the jell-o mix and take a quart of real whipping cream. Please note cool whip don’t work.
Whip the cream in separate bowl until peak then fold in the jell-o mix and refrigerate for more then 6 hours.

A Good Cleansing All the Way Around.

I’ve been heavy with negative surroundings in spiritual, emotional, physical, and my environment.

.

The last few times that I went to any family gatherings with my in laws I didn’t feel as if I have anxiety attack but now I’m feeling some apprehensive.
Christmas Eve, we are going to my sister-in-law Faith place, and Murphy brother Earl and his wife Tadita, will be there with their children.
What they did in the pass. Not standing up for the complete truth and lying. I forgave them and not holding the pass against them. Even if they hold the pass against us.

Confession time...In my mind I keep thinking if they snob us or whisper in other ears I’ll have to make bad Karma be placed upon them.

Last October I blogged about my bad spiritual habits at this time I’m getting angry what Earl and or Tadita might do. Feeling time...I’m bring this on my self or letting it come upon me I sure don’t want to turn the other check so they can shit all over us

My home needs a deep cleaning and I need to chase out the negatives. I’ll have to deep cleaning..
I feel our home is full of bad energies. Any suggestion what I need to burn to chase the bad energies from my home? I’m thinking of burning some white sage.

With me letting this negative surround me that it is effecting me physical and emotional. I feel tense all over my body and it needs a cleansing inside and outside.
I need to drink more water so I can flush out the toxic. In addition I’m thinking of doing a cleansing bath with basil.
Confession time...I haven’t been taking my walks or going to curves and both does me good.

Thirteen Thursday #19

1.Autumn Meadow will begin my blog hopping for my thirteen Thursday. She has a pug name Lucy and 2 Cats oh I’m so sorry I don’t recall their name. But I know they start with the letter “M”
I like her blog because she doesn’t come across as her “Shit don’t stink” I like to read bloggs about ordinary everyday people. That lives an ordinary life with the good and bad.

2. Autumn Raven This is also one I have for a coffee pal. I like different types of blog I read. Raven here is Native American and every so often bloggs about being Native American.
Raven also blog about other ordinary things of life at one time she blog about an ear problem which cause her a balance problem. I at one time had a minor problem with this

3. Carrie I’ve seen Carrie quite a few times over at Autumn Meadow. Only looked briefly at her blog in the pass.
Some people has a knack about writing about mundane things in life and I think Carrie might be one of these people. I’m going keep my eyes on this blog.

4. Beth So far I’ve seen real cool everyday ordinary people who lives an great life.
Her blog for the 18th of December she tried out for the biggest looser and I too thought of it. First time seeing this blog and it looks pretty neat.

5. KiramiaI have no ideal why I enjoy reading everyday ordinary people like my self.
I real like the banner on this blog it seems so “Sunshine and Lollipop” to me

6. HoosierGirl5 It seem the blogs been about the Yule Season and this one no different. Her blog is called the coffee table and in my book anyone drinks coffee or menchin it in their blog “gets a gold star” Add anther star she plays scrabble

7. Pam is a nurse and grap a chair and spend a little time here. She even makes cookies oh so good I bet.

8. Catch This blog to me seems fun and full of light with interesting touch. I notice it offers verity of interesting topics

9.Deb about me got my attention by saying she a Neurotic Christain Lesbian. Her posting of December 19 got me thinking how our personality changes.

10. Quasar 9 I think I’ve seen him posting comments at other blogger.

Over Doing Disabilties

My client Callie daughter Patty was recently approve for Disability she been diagnostic with ADD

Maybe I don’t complete understand what a disabilty is. Callie family has some type of disability and in my Opinion...they make it worst then what it is

Plus I understand why Callie got her daughter on disability for financial reason. Callie also has some disability. Opinion time...I feel Callie couldn’t hold down a full time job because of her disabilities.
I don’t think she needs someone to come in her home and do everyday general cleaning in her home. In most part she is able to do this.
She needs someone to come in twice a week to do the heavier cleaning.

With me coming in like I do, it just gives her permission to be lazy and I feel it show and or tell her daughter if you have a disability to helpless, and lazy.

I believe Patty has ADD but I don’t believe she is helpless and can develope admirable skills in life.
First of all Callie could set up some simple routine chores for her to do. Opinion...I don’t believe Children to be slaves to their parents
then change her diet and get more exercise. Ok she eats way to much processes carbs. Honest time...I’ve seen people on a lot worst diet. I lease don’t grip my teeth together.

I feel with the right help Patty can go and lead a productive life and not be a depended on someone or something

To me it seems if you have a disability, some makes them complete stupid and can’t do anything for their self

Some Shade of Grey

I just bought this book at a thrift store and started to read it Wish Craft, How To Get What You Really Want. By Barbara Sher, with Anne Cottler.
I just start reading
It has little quiz in the first part of the book that breaks why in your life you aren’t being successful in life.
One of the things they asked when you were very young before you started school what did you want to do or did?
I remember making magic potions until my mom came and yelled at me making a mess in her kitchen.
I remember running threw the house and the fireplace was my launch pad and I had pretend Fighter Jet and my mom never said anything like “Girls don’t do that”
At this point the introduction quiz and or exercise. To me they weren’t any true “no” or “yes” answers.
Confession time...When it comes to personal quizzes I find majority of the question I can put in a grey area.
Like I don’t believe that a certain religions have good or bad people in it. And anther one I don’t believe is all rich people are snobs. I seen lower income people are snobby to.
I don’t have any real solid answers to any part of this book so I’ll read the whole thing and I know I’ll pick up something.

You Are 24% Capitalist, 76% Socialist

You tend to be quite wary of businesses, especially big business.
While you know that corporations have their place, you tend to support small, locally owned shops.
As far as the rich go, you think they're usually corrupt and immoral.

Money

In a very short time I have a investment due and I’m not sure how I want to reinvested the money. So I been reading Investing for Dummies by Eric Tyson.
I find things like fiancees boring and confusing. So many factor to consider oh it just a head ache to figure it all out.
Honest time...I’m thinking letting Murphy make the decision where to put the money. I wish he would read the book so he would have a little more understanding of investments.
I know he leans more toward gold.
The truth is I inherited a small amount from my mom. I like to see it grow but I don’t want to loose it.
To me when it comes to investing it seems almost the same odds of picking an investment out of a hat then studying about investment.

Celebration at the Gardenia Center

When I was a shaver living at my parents home. One year after Christmas my mom bought a fake tree and I thought it was dreaded looking and I sore that when I had my own place I wouldn’t get a fake tree. Confession time...I’m starting to look at them in the stores. But I just can’t bring my self to buy one.
Plus I’m not a big fan of trees from a Christmas Tree farm. “To heavy” with branch you just lay your ornaments on them.
The other day on the Today Show Martha Stewart was on showing how to trim a tree and I guess if you trim every other layer of branches you could hang the ornaments on tree.
So Murphy and I went out on our property on the North Bench and cut down a grand fir tree.
When the boys where young they went out and cut the tree down and help decorate the tree. Now only the excepted expensive gifts

Last night I went down to Gardenia Center to the celebration of light festival. “What a show” I’ve never been to such a diverse of all religion and the holidays.
They covered the Jewish by lighting a Menorah, Christen they cover by singing songs about the Nativity, for the Pagan they had a dance, and also the did anther dance for the Sharism.
One lady ready some poetry but in all honesty I wasn’t sure what religion it was actual following but I’d guess a middle Eastern.
I tried to get my boys to go and they asked me what kind of concert it was and I didn’t know but it was one of the best Holiday program that I every been to.
After the Celebration we went down stairs and Mrs. Claus brought goodies for the younger kids.

Merrry Season

For some reason I can't get anything to post and I was going to do Boo Mama Christmas tour of homes. I've tried off and on all day.
I went down to 2 pictures and nothing.
Maybe their is a reason why even when Boo Mama hosted her blogger tour of homes my camera went kaput.
Hopeful tomorrow I'll have my tree posted

I decided that I'd have a little fun for the Merry Season.

You Are Blitzen

Always in good spirits, you're the reindeer who loves to party down with Santa.

Why You're Naughty: You're always blitzed on Christmas Eve, while flying!

Why You're Nice: You mix up a mean eggnog martini.

You Are a Snowman

Friendly and fun, you enjoy bringing holiday cheer to everyone you know!

I’m sure glad I married Murphy and had only 2 boys which I’ve enjoyed

13. Be super rich...I’d like to be able too cover our bills and have a few nice things on the way.
But if I have to cheat, hurt, and or exploit people I real don’t want any part of being super rich

Little More Holiday Joy

I’ve been enjoy reading the blogs recently. For some reason I’m having trouble getting into the holiday spirit. At this point I think Scrooge with his bah hum bug is merrier then what I’m.
So far I took part in two swaps. One is an “stocking exchange” my stocking exchange partner was rowan over at Circle of the year I also did the ornament exchange.

Did you know Santa is involved in the Blogger World. Well I found out via Pea’s Corner. If you need to know about being naughty or nice just click here.

I’ve recently did Christmas Tree Treasures and enjoyed whole thing. This Friday the 15th Boo Mama is hosting her Christmas tour of homes

I planing to hold a spring time scavenger hunt. I’ve been having a blast doing these swaps and blogger parties, I don’t know what else to call them

Murphy and I put in central gas heat in our home. Now we been or should say mainly he has been insulating around where the house sits on the foundation. We had enough scape lumber and insulation that he filled in were the house sits on the foundation.
But one wall we didn’t think it would of been a great ideal to hammer nails around a bunch of live wires. On the side with wires we used what I call liquid foam that comes in a can.

The picture with the board and insulation behind was done with one by ones. Not a true picture

For a while we had some pretty big icicles hanging from our home. Murphy went out and broke them off.
It warmed up and been a drizzly rainy day.

After Murphy Sister Faith got back from California, she made her brother some Cioppino for his birthday.
It was my first time having Cioppino and I had to get the recipe from her.
She goes down to Safeway and buys a can of Cioppino. Add two cans of tomatoes. Depending on how spice you like your food you can add more cioppino or if you like it less spices add some tomatoes.
Then for seafood she add shrimp, king crab in the shells, and some scallops. Let simmer on medium low heat.
Then after we got done eating we played scrabble and I don’t recall who won. But I know I came in last.
During the evening Faith menchin that her sister Susan front porch is leaking and her husband tried to fix it and instead of taking the old off and redue it he just add some tar and put up new shingles.
Well it leaking though and I guess when Susan Husband steps out she cleans up the drips.

According to Heinz that Susan husband gets to frustrate.
I almost said “Sounds like Murphy” But since he started to taking Lexapro he doesn’t seem to get frustrate over simple things.

He once said if he had to be medicate so he wouldn’t become a bitter old man. I’ve seen people who holds grudges and become bitter about life and I know it’s not for me

Just found in the blogger world a Christmas tree decorating contest.

Christmas Tree Treasures : Act One

Friday the 8th of December
Seeds From My Garden
hosted a Christmas tree treasures and that day my Uncle Bossco funeral.

Honest time I had a real hard time deciding what ornaments to do So I decided to do them in groups

I have two tree toppers on is a star and I'm clueless how old it is. My Dad and Mom had on their tree when I was little. I'm 46 years old and I can remember that star before I start school. It could be older then me.
On the box it says it was made in West Germany.
We also have an angel topper that lights up and I don't recall where we picked up that tree topper.
In with the tree topper their is a little train engine which I bought because my dad worked on the railroad for 50 years

This one of my group of ornaments I call it my "Sawyer group" When each one of my boys was born for their first Christmas I got them an sleeping angel with their name, date of birth (September 23, 1988) Time of birth (6:47PM) and weight 6 pounds and 1/2 ounce.
I once ran a ceramic shop and here some of the ornaments I've done in the pass

I took some other picture and they were blurring and I'm going to have to retake the pictures later

Uncle Bossco

Ned N. McCalmant Sr., age 84 of Hayden, Idaho died on December 5, 2006 at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. He was born on August 21, 1922 in Grainfield, Kansas to Edgar and Olive (Shirley) McCalmant.
In 1937, the family moved from Minature, Nebraska to Bonners Ferry, Idaho where Ned graduated high school in 1941. After his high school graduation, he joined the United States Army and served proudly in the Pacific Theater during WWII; during which time he achieved the rank of Tech Sergeant.
After returning from the war, Ned married Jane Kleinsmith on January 6, 1946. In 1953, he began his career as a sawmill foreman for Northwest Timber in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where he remained until his retirement.
Ned had several loves in his life including hunting and fishing. He was a member of VFW Post 9831 in Hayden, Idaho. Ned also loved to travel including visiting most of the United States and three trips to Europe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Ned is survived by his wife, Jane; son and daughter-in-law, John. and Jane McCalmant of Hayden, Idaho; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and John Reichuber of Corvallis, Oregon; brothers: John McCalmant, John McCalmant and John McCalmant all of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; sisters: Jane Anderson of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Jane Williams of Havre, Montana; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2006 at Yates Funeral Home, Hayden Chapel; followed by burial at Rimrock Cemetery in Hayden, Idaho.

This is the obituary of my Uncle Ned which we called Bossco. My uncle Bossco always had a story to tell, twinkle in his eye, and smile on his face.
To be around my Uncle Bossco you couldn’t be thin skin.
At the serves I learn that Uncle Bossco got 30 some elk in his life time and when he was younger he got 14 deer in one season. Yea I know it illegal to do. But he is one of 12 children two of them died as babies, one was his twin brother.
One of his neighbor he always says “ How are you farmer and I don’t like you” Ok most of the time he came across as gruf.
He was in one of his local coffee shop And some young wiper snapper was telling about fishing and Bossco in his gruff manner said “You don’t know how to fish”
Uncle Bossco caught a lot of fish and I wouldn’t tempted to count them. Their was this halibut that was bigger then he was.

One of my memories was Uncle Bossco fashion taste he would show up to family gatherings in plaid pants Confession time...I’ve always said Uncle Bossco always wore clown pants and his shirts was always bright in color. Some time or should say the patterns didn’t match. Who knows what he would have on with his clown pants it could a strip or a polka dot shirt.

FISHERMAN PRAYER

God grant that I may live, to fish until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast. I then must humbly pray: When in the lord’s safe landing net, I’m peacefully asleep that in his mercy I be judge as good enough to keep

I could go on about fishing and hunting tells about Uncle Bossco. He loved people.
Plus Idaho Fish and Game end flowers.

Where Name Jane and John is use these people are still alive

I pray that your glory fill the lives of all as one

The Code

At last Sunday Service at Gardenia Center the Moderator read this aloud and had extra copies and I thought I would share The Code by Tony Burroughs. TEN INTENTIONS FOR A BETTER WORLD

The first intent-support life

I refrain from opposing or harming anyone. I allow others ti have their own experience. I see in all things and honor it as if it were my own. I support life

The second intent-seek truth

I follow my inner compass and discard any beliefs that are no longer serving me. I go to the source. I seek truth

The third intent-set your own course

I begin the creative process. I give direction to my life. I set my course

The fourth intent-simplify

I let go so there is room for something better to come in. I intend that I am guided, guarded, protected, and lined up with the highest good at all times. I trust and remain open to receive from both expected and unexpected sources. I simplify

The fifth intent-stay postive

I see good, say good, and do good. I accept the gift from all of my experiences. I am living in grace and gratitude. I stay postive.

The sixth intent-synchronize

After intending and surrendering, I take action by following the opportunities that are presented to me. I am in the floe where great Mystery and Miracles abide, fulfilling my desire and doing what I came here to do. I synchronize

The seventh intent-serve others

I practice love in action. I always have enough to spare and enough to share. I am available to help those who need it, I serve others.

The eighth intent-shine your light

I am a magnificent being, awakening to my highest potential. I express myself with joy, smiling easily and laughing often. I shine my light.

The ninth intent-share your vision

I create my ideal world by envisioning it and telling others about it. I share my vision.

The tenth intent-synergize.

I see Humanity as One. I enjoy gathering with light-hearted people regularly. When we came together, we set the stage for Great Oneness to reveal itself. We synergize.

I was going to take a short quote from our Sunday Program and pass the word. Confession time...I forgot
So now I’ll do two and they are sweet and short.

Lord, I pray for peace in the heart of all of mankind.

Lord, I pray for gentleness to cover the earth

Non Walmart Gift Giving

I’m Not going to try to buy any of my Christmas present out of Wal Mart this year
If I said “I’m not going to buy any of my Christmas present out of Wal mart” I’d end up buying every single one of them

Saturday I went to our local Christmas Craft show and couldn’t buying anything. I went into Wal mart and bought un fun things such as toilet paper, shampoo I bet you get the picture.
Confession time...I bought 3 fun items 2 new Christmas Ornaments for our tree and some outside lights Not sure where we are going to put the outdoor lights yet

My friend Alice had her preserves down at the craft show. I didn't get a picture of her preserves but I did get a picture some of her other things, Her daughter Jodi was running the booth and I don’t think she was a happy camper.
Alice went to craft show in Lewiston Idaho a short time ago. This show complete sucked for her. Anyhow she said she was short on inventory, anyhow she paid her booth fee and would take the gamble and go.
I think Alice should get web site going.

My friend Qunella got her a site for her rock garden weddings No booking yet but more and more people are looking at her site.

We have a lot of talent people in our small community and I’d like to share some photos I took

I didn’t have any extra money to spend at local craft show. So I went around looking and picking up cards from the local vender's who had websites.
Since I couldn't support their business I thought I’d pass the word out.

Beggar Woman

today at Gardenia center our inspirational speaker told this story

A lady of unknown wealth had a bag of goods in her bag. A beggar came to her asking her for a hand up.
Out of this bag she fed, gave drink to this woman, and clothed her.
The beggar notice she had a precious stone her bag and ask her for it

Now put your self as you were the owner of the bag what would you done

Honest time...I thought you greedy and unappreciative person.

In the story the lady did give the beggar her precious stone and later the beggar return and wanting to know how one gives up so much value.
This stone could of been sold and the beggar could live quite comfortably

In their Program for the Sunday Service I enjoy the short inspiration they print.
Lord, I am here. and I call you to me.

It Worked This Time

This is our first Christmas Card We recived
