Today Is Sunday January 24 2021, This Is What happen.

Mainly I tied up loose ends from yesterday. I wonder why there more of mess when your sorting things. Plus every surface seems to have powerful magnet. Today I worked on the coffee table, it also has a magnet. Just brief go over and got rid of known trash.

Day of sink scrubbing. This place only has three sink. I guess if I was going to put in anther sink it would be by the washing machine. Like always I can think of other projects. Confession time...only did two sinks.

Had a chance to go though some fabrics. Even made you tube video. Thinking it will be posted Tuesday or Wednesday. Monday I will up loaded, as I take part in live video that day. I even doubt I will chance to press any of this fabric until Tuesday. It now on back of the couch. Talking about pressing I sure hope my terry cloth pad on my ironing board works. So I am guessing these fabrics I will put them in there place. Some will be used for the throw quilt I been working on.

See most of this is fabrics. If I make 2 to 4 video a month. My guess I should have this  current pile of fabric sorted around June.

Planning to chance my work week up a little. I usual work Monday til Friday. Saturday and Sunday off. But this time I will work next Sunday the 31st and take complete weekend starting Friday the 5th off. I will be getting my booster that day. I have personal light schedule on Monday. I need to get hold my blue cross and see if they got my tax credit and fax my last 3o days of pay to health and welfare. This will be done during my lunch hour.

Coffee is on and stay safe.

Today Is November 22 2020, This Is What Happen

Sunday was mainly day to wrap up the projects I didn't complete. It would be better to say to put them into a place of comfort.

As most Sundays I like to watch SUNDAY MORNING and this morning I finished up Regis crochet rag rug, he needs a bath rug. And I know he would be disappointed if he didn't receive a toy. These are Yule gifts.
Next gift items I get in mail I will post a photo, although I won't tell who it's for. It either coming from Walmart or Amazon.
In my P.J I watch two you tube videos' THIS ONE and THIS ONE

In my family history I been putting in my maternal first cousin and their spouses. And I have a lot of them. We're surely not saints. And I do have some interesting stories about them. I am pretty much the black sheep of family.

I learn if you first draw or trace your picture on to tracing paper, then out line it with transfer pencil. Before you iron it to what every your embroidering, it works a lot better. This week on my agenda I am planning to start to embroidering the RIDE A COCK HORSE and I want to do horse as a palomino. And this first block for one of my granddaughters quilt.

I weigh my self on even days, and I thought I had it all under control. I need to get back using my tools that will make me healthy. Statement time...Dora you need to use fitday and keep your calorie count between 1600 and 1800 calories. Plus every day you need to either stretch or do the tread mill. I wish T.O.P.S was going on, and if it was I wouldn't attend during the covid. Not enough mask wears in my area.

Only three days of work this coming week. Taking from Thursday until Monday off from work.

Today Is Friday November 20 2020, This Is What Happen

I like to do a fun activity with my clients and with covid it hard to do. So Wednesday neither one of them have other appointment usually. Statement time...I don't feel having one brain idling along is good.

So this way I can get something done for PAINT PARTY FRIDAY and I did an artist trading card. I been doing alphabetically food and or kitchen related items. I am letter H. So for H it stands for "honey" and I would like to do anther H food or kitchen item. But I am having trouble coming up with anything.

Other creative stuff I did this week was mainly sort and organize my fabrics. Then the other two creative things I worked on has my granddaughter quilt and mistakes are simple to learn from. I tried to do transfer a picture using transfer pencil and it didn't work. But in past it has. So with little research and I found it best to put it on to tracing paper. Well this weekend I will give it try and see what happens. The other one is my two inch scrap quilt I did mange to get some fabric pressed although I didn't get chance to cut them into strips of 2.5 inches (wide) and 10 inches (long) Anther weekend catch up.

Before work I went out to see my friend Quenella, she mask up and goes to town once a week. Her and I use to meet at Under the sun for coffee. I could swear her and I was the only one that came in the place that wore a mask. And once we got our coffee and possible a treat. We went and sat down then took off our mask. If we had to get up we stuck our mask back on. So I gave her a call and said with the situation at under the sun. I think it would be best if we just didn't go there. The last time we were in there on Tuesday the 10th it wasn't safe. As I was there we kept our distance and wash my hands when I got there and when I left.

Today Is Tuesday November 17 2020, This Is What Happen

This morning before I went to work I decided to do a VIDEO of unpackaging of bag of fabric I got from a local thrift store. Slowly getting things sort and ready to put in there containers. I will probably do anther unboxing of fabrics before Thanksgiving holidays.

By the smell of these fabrics I'm guessing they came out of the COMMUNITY THRIFT STORE For some reason when they laundry there items, it seems like they use the most strongest detergent. So I got them out in the weather, it raining and windy. In hope of washing out the smell. In morning before I go to work I will toss in washer.

Since I mention the community thrift store, and if you click on link. You can see there seventh day Adventists. They do help people in our community. Regis had to see some clinic about this nerve stimulator and his medicare and medicaid wouldn't cover it. If I recall right it was about $60. Well last time I was in there and got something, not sure what it was. But as I was register getting ready to pay for my stuff. The lady who rang me up. Said if Mask become mandatory that they would have to shut down. She was explaining to me the manger has asthma and she has claustrophobia and anxiety. I was just willing to talk about the traffic or weather. Not sure why she brought this up to me, because I had a mask on.

At anytime or any place of business you go in. I would guess half or less is wearing mask.

Don't know anyone who died of covid, and at one time I could say I know no one who had to be hospitalized with it. Just recently on facebook a lady who lived here and the family moved. Her Husband is in ICU was almost had to be hooked up to ventilator. He started to improve and that was last word I heard. She would be someone when it comes to religion and politics. One might as well say we're from complete different worlds. She is quite nice and crafty. But I'm wondering if they followed the CDC guide lines or just tossed to the wind.

Today I did some errands for Liz. One was going to post office to send  a package to her Grandson in Portland. As plain as day on front door there a sign about wearing a mask or face covering. And social distance. I could be wrong I and the postal workers was only people that had mask on. But let give the devil it due, a lease they were six feet apart. Then went into the store and got her a few items and I am guessing about half of people had mask on.

Did my morning exercise add two more and now doing 12 reps of each. Before covid I was going to a weight lost group T.O.P.S and once a week I check in with anther member. During covid her and I been keeping each other accountable. I was down but last 3 months I seem to be loosing the same pounds over and over.

Let get back to fabrics. It seems newer dye are much better. I friend of mind gave me some fabrics which her mom gave her. And they seems to bleed of colors. Not sure how processor of dying fabrics over the years changed.  I got few non primary colors iron and ready to be cut into strips for up coming 2 inch block quilt.

Today Is Monday November 16 2020, This Is What Happen

Tried to use my TRANSFER PENCIL I did practice run and they worked fine. But I just tried and such faint line and there is no way I could embroidery. Did a little research and was suggested that first you put your piece on tissue paper. Not even sure were you get drawing or art tissue paper. I recall most places carried box of tissue paper.

Been real happy how the sorting and organizing fabric is going.

This morning I spend a short time on the tread mills.

Hubby went to physical therapy this afternoon, and they call it pain and torture. His front side is much stronger then his back side.

Today was Liz birthday. Regis gave her a twenty dollar bill, in a paper wallet and actual they look real. Me I gave four matching mugs. I believe she only have three or maybe it two. It doesn't matter. She short on mugs. Plus a roll of toilet paper. I haven't meant anyone who couldn't use toilet paper.

Thursday November 12 2020, This What Happen

Been trying to get video done, but lighting been an issue. The sun is to far in southern horizon, plus it over cast last few days, and every so often it spits a few snow flakes. I even consider Liz place and her place is in same boat. Plus it good for her. See she quite STAGNATE and the other day Regis and I went up and did a share art project, and hope to fire a few brain cells. And there been time I let her directed and run camera when I am doing video. Two reason it does help me, see I don't camera lens is seeing and I can talk to fast. And she likes doing for others, before her self and hopefully it fires up some brain cells.

I was asked if I was going to see either one my son for Thanksgiving. I felt like grabbing them by the front of there shirt and getting into there face, and saying there a pandemic out there. Although I would have my N95 on if I did something like that. If I lived in area that took the pandemic seriously I would consider going and having dinner with my son in Spokane. But since I have Idaho plates I'm little nervous about my car getting fired bombed.

Managed to get some fabric strips sewn together, and now I am out of yellow. So that means I need to cut more. Not sure if I will cut some of the other main colors, which are blue and red. Oh once in while I will toss in some odd color. Just to make interesting.

Maybe in the morning if there not a blizzard I will do video, bundle up and have cup coffee with everyone.

Today Is Wednesday November 11 2020, this Is What Happen

Done  a little Family history, just put general information on my maternal first cousin, and I have lot of them. We were all born form 1944 til 1966. Right now I am putting info in for my Aunt Alice and Uncle Udo children, one of there children is now gone, LeRoy.

I don't recall Uncle Udo, I know he was still live when I was young. He served in WWI and I been told he was an interpreter, spoke both German and English. That we convince some large troop of German solider that they were surrounded and need to throw down there arms. And actual the German out number the American army. I would actual like to find more information on this story. Since Covid our Museum been closed.

I did mange to get space on bed to go and sort fabric color. I love to do video of some my fabric. But winter sun is way low in southern sky. Plus it been over cast

Work day and before that I went and had coffee. Went over to Larson to get my oldest Granddaughter her outfit. I get Grandkids a new outfit and pj's for Christmas. And I was planning to get middle Granddaughter a doll. Usual they have a pretty good selection, and I looked and looked couldn't find any. So as I was about ready to pay for the outfit. I asked the clerk if they had any dolls or going to get some in. She said they had 23 coming and only 1 came in. Plus a lot of there inventory they order was out or short.

Today Is Monday November 11 2020, This Is What Happen

Just did a little more straightening in the larger spare room. Found a couple of tops I got and actual never wore. So I am going to try them on. Nothing this time to the thrift store.

Second day with Fit day and recording what I ate. Both days I was over my calorie count, and I will get back. A lease I am recording what eat. The official weekly weigh in tomorrow.

Work was pretty uneventful, took Regis to Sandpoint and only spend about hour and half with Liz. I'm planning to spend the day with Liz tomorrow. Wednesday I will spend my day with both of them, hopeful we can have a craft day.

This morning I actual did some exercises and stretches.

Today Is Wednesday October 28 2020, This Is What Happen

Tomorrow I will finish off blogging with the items on my Samhain altar. The last card the moon represent my dad. I so could see this car represent my dad, it totally emotional card. I would guess it the most represent of emotional card in tarot deck.

But I am using This Site for keywords. To me this card is difficult in seeing if it positive or negativty. So I am going to use RANDOM NUMBERS so the words I will be using is illusion, complexity, and clarity.

He tend to have a negative illusion on lot of things though his life. I can only think or it seem only thing when came human race who were decent human being were his wife (My mother) his in law, and his family. Oh yes! A man who had a crew cut and or flat top would fall under a decent person. Other than that they were up to no good. Statement time...He was all for BARRY GOLDWATER totally law and order, and kept bottle booze in vehicle and would nip as he was driving and grip about someone breaking the law. But over the years his heart soften, over society change.

As a physical part of complexity I can see my dad as this way. He would try all sort of things to work out a situation in carpentry and such. But I had to go over to EMOTIONAL COMPLEXITY the family history I've done were some events in my dad life of that era, one didn't see a therapist. And one didn't or was confuse on how they might of felt. So I believe my dad hide it in alcohol for years.

My father didn't adventure out, different and new made him uncomfortable. He would play only three card games Cribbage, Pinochle, Rummage, and possible hearts.

My parents did jig saw puzzle and I would believe for some reason he would been comfortable doing the same puzzle over and over.

I think he had trouble understanding and recognizing his emotion, so it wasn't clear to him. So this I call it clarity.

Not sure when I will every get chance to do an ART QUILT I need lesson and or start out with something possible not as advance looking. But this artist view of this card is something I would believe it would look neat as art quilt.

But let move on, Pisces color is lavender and had a hard time finding any info on lavender candle. Purple usual represent royalty and now I am wonder if lavender is lighter shade of purple. Mean possible a weaker and or gentler royalty. Although I couldn't find anything negative on color of purple, and one might want to check out this site on COLORS and here is other site I got some of my info on COLORS

There also lavender the flower has it MEANING

Confession and Editor Note...I would have a hard time posting about anyone, which include my self on using the moon.

Started to actual crochet rag rug, as I watched the news. At this point I am not to impress with coloring. The contrast doesn't look right. It hard to tell when you roll up ball of fabric strips and how it actaul look when it complete done.

Today Is Saturday, September 6, 2025: This Is What Happen.

Don't recall last time I shared any sort of stats, so I thought of sharing 9 stats from last month. I try to get the weather ...
