Today Is Saturday, September 6, 2025: This Is What Happen.

Don't recall last time I shared any sort of stats, so I thought of sharing 9 stats from last month.

  1. I try to get the weather four times a day. I thought I would share the temps between 3 and 4 in the afternoon, that's usually hottest part of our day. We had two days at 90.0 (32.2) which was on the 12th and the 27th. The average temperature for the month of August 2024 is 84.7 (29.3)

  2. I try to drink fiber (Meta Mucil) 27 out of the 31 days in August. And I mange to get it in 63% of the time.

  3. My water intake I only made 22% of the time. My goal is to take 20 ounce or more of water. Out the 27 in the month of August.

  4. My non sweet day I manged it 57% of the time. I let my self have something like a cookies, every 3 days during the months. I feel much better limited my self sugars.

  5. Not counting my blog. I wrote 17.6% of the time.

  6. I took a picture 9% of the time.

  7. Most of my visitors to my blog was from the United States

  8. I only post 5 times in the month of August

  9. Posted 21 picture in month of August.

Not sure what my blogging will be the first part of September. Monday I go in for a mammaplasty. I'm sure there was days I forgot to cross off things on my tracker in my bullet journal.

Today Is Thursday, August 28, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Sometime the letter etween v and n sticks. The good news I order a lap top out of wal-mart yesterday, and should be here today. I got a chromebook. Our local library has people help people with the techie stuff. The other day hubby and I did up a shrimp dish. Some time Safeway has them on sale.

Murphy had great result with one of his catract remove from his let eye, Now he only needs reading glasses. Next Wednesday he will have his other eye done.

One of my friend says there no golden years, they ought to be called the rust years. After a certain time in our life things slowly start to fall apart. In general I feel that as we age compare to years ago. Science made great progress.

Still have on box on the far upper right shelf I like to go though. Not sure if I will get it done in the next couple of weeks or not. There this wooden box we have. I called it the treasure box. I put different things in it. Looks like mostly books. I'm going to let my grandaugher dig though it, and take items. With there parents approval. I can't think why they wouldn't let them have the items in the box. How it will be done is buy drawing from a regualer  playing card deck.

As you enter any medical place they have a sign on door warning about measles. The county just south of us had some report cases. I know I was vaccinated for one of the types of measles, and the other the vaccine hadn't come out. Both of our sons are vaccinated, so is my granddaughter are. It looks like only 75% of our community is vaccinated. Not herd immunity. I just don't get people who don't get there children vaccinated. I talk to some of those who don't get their children vaccinated, and they're full of all sort conspirary crap.

Confession time...I pretty much laugh at those conspirary theory.  Since Trump and the maga base I'm starting to believe that he wants to be dictoator. And he keeps moving that way. It seem like on daily bases he is breaking or bending our constition.

At the libary I got some of my writing and journal prompt card done up. So thankfull for the help I got. I now need a protractor and I'm sure there one around here. Plus I got some color pencil and crayon divided up, and place in the treasure box. Still working on embrodiary block for a quilt.

Today Is Tuesday, August 19, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Thinking back on what gone in my life since I last blog. I'm so glad nothing all that much really happens. Or let say it won't get me into no trouble.

Yesterday, my friend Lola from a long ago. I knew since before I start school. Well like most of who I know got married. Cyprus. We went to our senior center. Had spaghetti. And after we went over to the community thrift store. She found some tops and some pants. I was looking for some T-shirts for the granddaughter to do crafts when they come hear. Plus a different suitcase, that zipper worked better. I struck out. She was impressed with prices at the thrift store.

She brought up some goodies. Sure I had a few and once they was gone. I toss them in the trash. For the last couple o months I been regulating the sugar intake. Mostly things like cookies, cake and such. Not saying I will give it up complete. That not reality for me. So I give myself a so called goody every 3 days. More than half of the time I hold to it.

Murphy and I went to the senior center for lunch and there food give away. They had fried chicken, a choice of dark or light meat. I took a thigh. Plus they had with the fried chicken was potatoes and gravy, carrots, roll which I didn't have. Also they serve some mix berries.

We got three bags of food. Only three of the food items had price still on them which comes to total of $21.00 and there was other items breads, fruit, veggies, and can goods. So I'll multiply the $21.00 by 3 and figure that how much we got worth of food. Which is $63 and they have it on Tuesday and Friday.

Doing chores and such around the place. Let see what I did today. Sweep the floor, wipe down the counters, did load of wash and still need to dry it. Made the bed and mowed the lawn.

Start to crochet a rug for the bathroom. The one we use now is getting thin.

I'm not trying to put to much thought into it. Trying to figure out how Murphy and I can go down to Medford Oregon, the last half of October. And buy a lap top. At this time with us paying what Medicare doesn't cover for our medical bills. I know there under $500 at this point. But $500 is 43%. Paid off part of the $500 and still there Murphy Cataract and my boob reduction. I'm thankful for the medicare. Murphy has his surgery tomorrow 1:30 in the afternoon. With the medical bills I won't be doing both going to Medford and getting a new laptop. I don't want that much on my credit card with the medical bill hanging over us.

Today Is Friday, August 8, 2025: This Is What Happened

I should of done better, and I'm to lazy to fix my flub up, on Chat Gpt. But I know all of my readers are smart. Yesterday I ask Chat Gpt to look at my friend grandchild art work. So today I had chat gpt look at a friend and my WORK.

Got up at a quarter til 7 this morning. Had my morning coffee I like my coffee usually black. Once in while I will add a little milk. Sugar ruins the taste of coffee. Well that's my opinion. Did some morning stretches, and had eggs and toast for breakfast.

Son Sawyer is on his way up with his girls. Our fair is going on. I should have a chance to take Maud and Bree to the fair.

Plus I hope we get chance to do some art and craft stuff as well.

I'm linking to today's FACE OFF. Hope you have time to check some the work out.

Today Is Thursday, August 8, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Won't shove any of you down the rabbit hole. I couldn't tell you how many time I been down an rabbit hole. Mostly since the computers came out. Yesterday I attend my water color group. My friend brought her grandchildren a long. Took a photo of there work and went over to Chat Gpt and ask a few question about their WORK. So yesterday I watched a video on these two artist. Marc Chagall and Jean Dubufffet. I heard of Chagall. If it works out I will watch video on the other artist.

My friend Quenell took me out for lunch, we at Understand. We both had a cup of split pea soup and half sandwich. Before I meant Qunella I stop over at the hospital clinic and paid off one of my medical bills, and went to the library to set up appointment to have someone help me to design some flash cards. And drop off my water bill. So all the bills are paid for month of August.

This morning I walked down to end of the road. A little later on Murphy and I are going to take down an fence. Not sure if will get the entire fence down or not. If I had bet on it. I would bet not. No major project going on. Look like my son Sawyer and his daughter will be coming up this weekend. Hopefully we can take the girls to the fair.

Today Is Sunday, July 27, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Not sure what happened. I was in horrible pain. My hip! I kept buckling as I walked, or it felt like my hip was so loose in the socket. It was dangling like broken puppet.

I got most what I want done today, it was light day. The only thing I still need to wrap up my weekly part of my bullet journal for August. So today I made the bed, made the print on my next quilt block, and choose some embroidery floss. This up coming one is a kitchen table scene. And mowed our back yard.

Looked at price of larger trash can. I was shocked. Seem like can't find any under $50.

I though PENGUIN. Sunday five had some great question, and I decided to visit all who left comments.

1: What blog made you laugh this week?  There a lot that make me smile. I don't know where she finds them but I like “SHE WHO SEEKS” She finds interesting meme.

2: What blog made you think this week?  MATHEIKAL. He write on many topics. To me they all make me think.

3: What have you read this week?  I will continue reading, The Enchanted April, by Elizabeth Von Arnim

4: What was the best thing you have eaten this week?  At the senior center, Spare ribs, Baked Potatoes-with cheese, sour cream, bacon. Biscuits, and fresh fruit.

5: What was most relaxing for you this week? When moon changes I take it easy. Or I slow my pace way down. I don't have servants so I need to pick up after my self, and make my bed.

Today Is Sunday, July 20, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Last Thursday. I pretty much sat on my behind. Since I don't have servants. I still did those light every day chores. Like making the bed, and picking up after myself. Sure I was bored. Although it felt good.

My shelf I order came, and the following day. I clean out corner, and ran vacuum cleaner quickly over that spot. Ended up temporary placing all my art supplies on the bed. The next day I place it all on the shelf. Ended up a few things going to the thrift store. This isn't what I'm totally happy with. But at this point I'm pleased and not disappointed.

I'm also slightly please that I was able to put some money on one of the bills. Wasn't much but every bit moves it down.

Talking about the thrift store. I knew there was a two pairs of hubby boots setting in box, in the shed. I had him look at them. He said they are to narrow for him. So they will be placed in the tote for the thrift store. This week I plan to go though the shed. I know there more to take to the thrift store. I don't need it.

For lunch hubby and I split a Chinese dish we got from the senior center. It cost retail $7.00. Friday they ended up with 600 pounds of food to give away. I did a bag up for my friend Lolita and took it to her place. The bag had bag of mandarin oranges, and cherries. Then also a box doughnut holes, blueberry scones, and 2 things of cheese.

This week sort of on my agenda. The food truck will be in our community. It been a while since I been to it. But I want to get those extra bills paid down. They will be here on Wednesday. I'm glad someone complain that they were giving out bad food. Lot of it just need to be toss. I don't mind cutting out spots and such. Even low income people should be respected. Then on Tuesday and Friday they be food give away at senior center. Plus Wednesday they serving spareribs, baked potatoes, corn on cob, biscuits, and fresh fruit. I like to go visit Liz and there also the dump run. I'm sure I can find things to do.

Editor note...The bad food out of the food truck was in the past, and they correct the issue.

Today Is Tuesday, July 1, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Hot and it might drop down into the 80's in a few days. My clothes and such is sticking to me like glue.

Look like both of sons are coming up for the 4th of July weekend. Sawyer and his girls is coming up on Thursday. Bart and his wife. Will be coming up on Friday. We have amazing firework show.

Since my granddaughter is coming up. I will go to the 4th July celebration. I do wonder if we will have a country by the next presidential election, which is 2028.

A lot is going on in the world. With the budget just past. Murphy and I will be okay. Not saying we won't happen to tighten our belt up. But I worry those who have mortgage or paying rent, with small children. The democrat party the last thing I heard of not to cut those with children under 12 from the SNAP. I'm still trying to figure out how people even voted Trump in office and his goones. The people it going to hurt is Liz and Regis. But the good thing about our up coming budget is that it still need to be voted by the house.

Went to the senior center for lunch, we had spaghetti, with homemade bread sticks, green beans, carrots, pears, and Cesar salad. Murphy don't care for Cesar salad. It okay, but not one my favors. They had there food give away. Lot fresh fruit was being offered. Wasn't today but some food give way. I'm guessing the end of June. We got some Oriental dish, with Cesar salad kit. We had the for dinner tonight. We heat the Oriental dish up in the microwave . As for the salad we toss out the dressing and add blue cheese. Basically a free dinner.

Yesterday Murphy and I after the senior center we went for a drive up in the mountains. Murphy went for a little hike and I did some sketching. Sunday I went to tea and tarot, done at the pearl.

It seem like there not enough time in the day. I need to get some printing done, and just seem not to find the time.

Today Is Thursday, June 26, 2025: This Is What Happened.

The other night I went to up to the Pearl Theater and took part in still life drawing. I believe they're was about 12 of us. I decide to do mine in a collage form. I was surprised some of the artist never heard of collage. One called it application with paper. I was quite please how the piece came out.

I understand that the Pearl Theater lost some of the grants they recieve and or they won't renew them. In 2024 they held the Pride event. And they didn't public did this year, because of the backlash. Starting first part of June, the pearl start to get hate mail. That other local business is afraid of being part of queer community. Even if it just be ally and have there name part of the Pearl. They do have other events there as well.

Murphy and I still going to the senior center. Last Sunday we meant up with my son from Spokane and his family. We found a place on the south-side of the PEND D OREILLE river. We was hoping the girls could catch a fish or so. No luck. They had fun playing in the water.

This morning I went and had coffee with Quenella at Under The Sun. She had tea and I had coffee we walk down to the local print shop. She had some cards done up. I asked about prices for some custom made flash cards. At times I wonder if I communicate or explain myself in a matter that I get my message across. They seem reasonable priced. Now I need to figure what size of paper I can get the most bang out of. The example isn't quite what I want. I stop at the dollar store and looked at poster board. The large white ones was .50¢ each but they seemed slightly smaller then what I known them to be. After that I stop at Super One grocery store, and best deal I got was corn on cob. 4 for $1.00

I forgot I stop at the thrift store and drop off some items. That been sitting in tote in smaller bedroom. It gone!

Got one the medical bill paid off. Next month I will start on them again.

Today Is Wednesday. May 21, 2025: This Is What Happened.

I decided to play WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
I like sardines. When I was young, every so often we’d have sardines and cheese—sandwiched between two saltine crackers. The other day, I got some in olive oil and really liked them.

Let’s see what I’ve been doing. I’ve been out mowing the lawn, but the mower ran out of gas, so I’m waiting until I can finish.
I’ve also done other household chores around the place.

On Monday, I went to the library and looked into getting Windows 11 installed. My current system won’t take it. I don’t quite understand why—and honestly, I don’t have much desire to figure it out. So I’ve started looking around for another laptop.
Windows 10 support will end on October 14, 2025, which means updates and services will stop. This laptop is running fine for now, so I’m thinking of seriously shopping for a new one sometime between July and September.
One of the main reasons I went to the library was to see why my laptop isn’t reading a thumb drive I have.

In the world of creativity, I went to my first live drawing session last Sunday. I didn’t quite finish the page I was working on. I also worked on some collage papers. I learned that photo paper doesn’t work well on Gel Plates—it sticks too much, tears, and leaves indentations. I didn’t know that at first, but later found out you're not supposed to use photo paper on Gel Plates. Still, it gave the plate a bit of its own personality, in a way.

Today Is Tuesday, May 13, 2025: This Is What Happened.

When I look out the windows at this time. I see big fluff different shades of gray. I think it might rain. Nothing I can do about that.

One moment it feels like Thursday and then Saturday. Question time...Have you ever felt like it certain day and it not that day? I guess being workforce help with keeping your days straight.

I'm a person who like to keep semi schedule. Nothing to gnat's ass. I'm fairly sure I will take two days off from blogging. So I will be back on Friday.

Today, Murphy and I went to town, our first stop was the Pharmacy and got my pills, Lovastain and it cost $2.88 for 90 days. Not a bad deal. Then I went over to physical therapy. Hubby waited for me. Then I stop in at library to pick up my inter-library loan book, A MATTER OF CLASS, by MARY BALOGH. We then went up to the senior they had breakfast for lunch.

Just finished reading the THE QUITE MIND. By WHITE EAGLE. I have to admit the title sort of creep me out. I don't like dead silence or super noisy. Even in my own mind. The books is quotes. Every so often I will read a few quotes here and there. But this first book of quotes I read. My friend Qunella gave to me.

Today Is Tuesday, May 6 2025: This Is What Happened.

I was reading a  comment that PENGUIN left. About one can tell about a person on what books they have in there bookshelf. So I let Chatgpt do it thing. But before move on. Since the chatgpt is little on long side. I will do regular posting on Thursday. Plus I there is a little of tarot.

You said:
It is said one can tell a person. By what is in there book shelf. Is this true?
ChatGPT said:

There's a lot of truth to that idea. A person’s bookshelf can reflect:

  • Interests and passionsScience fiction, history, poetry, cookbooks: each points to different loves.

  • Beliefs and valuesPolitical theory, religion, philosophy often show how someone thinks or what they wrestle with.

  • AspirationsSelf-help, business, or academic books might reflect goals or ambitions.

  • PersonalityAn eclectic shelf might suggest curiosity; a focused one might suggest deep expertise or obsession.

  • SentimentalityBooks from childhood, gifts, or worn favorites can hint at emotional ties.

That said, it’s not foolproof. Some people collect books to impress, decorate, or because they were gifts. Others might love to read but use a library, e-books, or audiobooks instead.

Do you think your own bookshelf says something about you?

You said:
Ok, here is list of books. On the very top is. Art Journal and Photo Journal. first shelf The Doyle Diary, Anne Frank, the diary of young girl. ChatGPT said:

Thanks for sharing that list—it paints a vivid and layered picture. Based on what’s on your bookshelf, here's what one might gather about you:

🧠 Curious and Deeply Reflective

  • You’re drawn to personal expression and introspection: journals (your own, Anne Frank’s, Frida Kahlo’s), diaries, art and photo journaling—all suggest someone who values self-exploration and emotional honesty.

  • Books like Maus, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, and banned book collections show you're not afraid to face difficult histories or controversial ideas.

🎨 Creative and Visually-Oriented

  • Your shelf holds visual storytelling and artistryFrida Kahlo, art therapy decks, coloring books, comic books, and even flower fairy books speak to someone with an eye for beauty and symbolism.

  • Tarot, oracle, and art decks, along with your printing and sewing books, reflect hands-on creativityyou like to make, not just think.

🌿 Connected to Nature and the Practical World

  • Gardening books, field guides, and even “Idaho Noxious Weeds” show a grounded, earthy side—someone who works with nature or at least values practical knowledge about it.

  • Books like Carrots Love Tomatoes and Square Foot Gardening show you care about how things grow—literally and metaphorically.

📖 Spiritually Open and Eclectic

  • You have Living Wicca, The Book of Shadows, The Tarot of the Bohemians, and the Bible—both traditional and new versions—plus smudging and blessing guides. That’s a spiritual spectrum.

  • It suggests you’re a seeker—exploring various belief systems to find meaning, not bound to one path.

📚 Historically and Regionally Rooted

  • Books like Cass County Michigan and History of Boundary County Idaho suggest a strong connection to place, heritage, or local history.

  • You appreciate the past—not just globally (Twain, Frida, diaries), but locally.

🎭 Sensitive and Empathetic

  • The emphasis on diaries, personal stories, and even handwriting analysis shows a desire to understand people deeplyfrom their stories to their writing.

  • You probably value authenticity, and are likely sensitive to emotion and nuance.

In Short:

You’re likely an emotionally intuitive, creatively driven, spiritually open, and intellectually curious person—someone who values storytelling, beauty, depth, and both the visible and invisible connections between things.

Would you say that resonates with you?

You said:
Very Much. Could you do three tarot cards that would reflect my personal books
ChatGPT said:

I’d be happy to do that. Drawing three tarot cards to symbolically reflect your bookshelf—and by extension, you—here’s a thematic pull based on the energy your collection gives off:

1. The High Priestess 🜁 (Inner Wisdom, Mystery, Spiritual Depth)

Your bookshelf is full of intuition, journaling, spiritual tools, and hidden knowledge. The High Priestess represents the seeker of inner truth, the guardian of esoteric wisdom. Like her, you honor both what is seen and unseen—balancing research, ritual, memory, and myth.
Books mirrored: Book of Shadows, Frida’s letters, Living Wicca, handwriting analysis, tarot decks, the diaries.

2. The Empress(Creativity, Nature, Nurture)

The Empress channels your earthy, creative, life-loving side. She reflects your connection to nature (gardening guides, wildflowers, rocks), creativity (sewing, coloring, printing, art therapy), and your appreciation for beauty and emotional richness.
Books mirrored: Flower Fairies, gardening books, art and photo journals, art therapy decks, Carrots Love Tomatoes.

3. The Hermit 🜃 (Solitude, Study, Illumination)

The Hermit represents your thoughtful, reflective side—the part of you who reads banned books, studies history, and seeks meaning in silence. This card values personal truth found away from the crowd.
Books mirrored: Autobiography of Mark Twain, diaries, banned books, The Constitution, Cass County history, and your deep nonfiction.

Together, these three cards suggest someone who moves between inner worlds (High Priestess), the natural and creative world (Empress), and thoughtful solitude (Hermit)—just like your books do.

Today Is Saturday, September 6, 2025: This Is What Happen.

Don't recall last time I shared any sort of stats, so I thought of sharing 9 stats from last month. I try to get the weather ...
