Today Is Thursday April 28 2022, This Is What Happen.

I'm sure there issue of being overly wealthy. I'm sure that Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, and Bernard Arnault. Let not forget the females of this group. Francoise Bettencourt-Myers, Alice Walton, and Julie Koch.

My car front end has some major issue. Took into a shop and thought it was possible wheel bearings need redone. No it the C.V joint and brakes. Well cost would run us $700. The car right now is worth less $600. Maybe because of inflation it might be worth $800. Plus it burns oil. So I got my eye out for anther rig.

We need some items. Hubby needs some jeans and I need bras. Well I think this month we will order one of each. I was wanting to get two of each. Ordering or spending budget is about $175. There a few other things we need. Youngest granddaughter birthday gift, she will be one. I'm leaning toward getting her couple of hard cover books. Not sure exactly what hubby wants for black plastic, thought it was little pricey over on Amazon. And a hair cut. Which is $25 that includes a tip.

Neither hubby and I can handle the ceramic molds. It reality of it. We both have our physical limitation. So we going to try to sell them. Me I would wait until had reduce hours. I sold things though different platform over the internet. It can be hectic. So since I work I told hubby it his baby.

Today Is Friday March 25 2022, This Is What Happen.

When I drove by neighbor they had a for sale sign. But it isn't listed on any of the real estate sites. Like all place you can look up value. The place is worth around $440,000. I figure by Monday it will totally listed.

Some time because of work, I miss what going on, and sometime I think that is good thing. Hubby catches Idaho debate, what is going on with our state reps, and senate. There been discussion and not sure debates. They want to do away with property taxes, and our state and county government be support by sale tax. Our current rate is 6% and there 13 of them put sale tax on food. Idaho is one of them. I call it a regressive tax. To me, it would be fine to drop off food and have a sale tax of 10% on rest of the items. Each Idaho resident get back a $100 from there state income tax, and that going up $175. The two I take care of get what is called snap, back in day known as food stamps. When they use snap benefits to purchase food, no sale tax is taken out.

Just did the paper work for the C.S.F.P Both Murphy and I are senior. Not long ago I turn 62 and hubby will be 72 in April. At one time they had the C.S.F.P up here. I was told it was transportation thing. Lot of things just don't seem to get up here. Like Courd' Alene and Sandpoint is end of the earth. Than also the SECOND HARVEST MOBLIE MARKET goes to different communities. The sign I seen around looks like the food mobile will be here 6 times this year, and it was here once already.

I doubt my sons wants all my ceramic stuff. But I thought it was the right thing to do, is offer them the molds. Having a ceramic shop just isn't feasible. If my son aren't interested in them. Already heard back from Sawyer. He says he doesn't have the room. I'm offering them the poor table and kilns as well. For them it could be a tax write off. Haven't heard back from Bart. So once I'm down to half time I should be able to focus on molds, or I might just wait until 2023 when I completely retire. So If someone would take most of my molds, and I will take what every they offer me. There some I want personally.

Got home early from work, so wipe the dash of my car. It was dirty. Went back cutting strips for a crochet rag rugs. I think Tuesday I will have Liz put them together. It will give her something to do. Regis got a doctor appointment down in Sandpoint. We will also go to some other places. I know we will stop by library down there. And he want to go to the toy story in mall over sand creek. At this time I just can't come up with anything I need.

Today Artist is ROBERT HUNTER he is from NORTHERN MARIANA ISLAND. Weather been fairly nice, up in the 50's.

Today Is Friday February 25 2022, This Is What Happen

In past blog I post about retiring and having some type of “Creative Studio” in our basement. But what is feasible. I once had SLIP CAST CERAMIC shop and I have all my molds, kilns, and such. It would be impossible to go full steam a head. Let look at facts. I can't and don't think it would be wise to rent or purchase a building in the area. Making payments or rent would be a struggle. Space in the basement would be limited of what could be done. And how many people could come in and be safe. In all honestly no more than 6 could be in at time., including my self. Confession time...I have my parasitism ways. So there a certain clientele I wouldn't want to be around. Plus this LINK might give you ideal. A decision don't need to be made at this moment. Can't do much until I retire. So this is making me mainly making me depress and angry. Time to put in safety deposit box for the time being.

This morning hubby and I watch the national news, and they had a story about DON"T SAY GAY. I can't come up with one thing that can't be discuss in civil tone. I grew up in family that we SUPPRESSED and or REPREES. Now I see a therapist. Keeping things in closet sooner of later things fall out. Opinion time....We would live in a better world if we had more open discussion though out our life's.

Still waiting to find out if our local art club is still a thing, or doesn't. I was wondering how art shows became.

When my niece and I went down to the art at Gonzaga Urban Art Center. I was wondering how they found the artist to take part in this showing. The curators OLIVIA EVANS and TRACY POINDEXTER CANTON they also had their piece in exhibit. I find it uncomfortable being my own curator. But I'm sure there plenty of artist out there who does a bit of it. If I didn't go to JUNDT and ask if there was any of student art work, I would of never learn about URBAN ART CENTER. But saying “Hey could you look at my work” is difficult for me. Even asking some employee in store is difficult for me. Put it in nut shell I have feeling of inadequacy in lot of things. That has put a stifle in my life.

Went to town to get some items, I was going to change my voter register back to a Republican. The county clerk had quite a line. IDAHO is a close primary when it comes to voting. Last I heard there no democrat running in my county or next one down. I sure don't want either one of these candidate making it to the general election. JANICE MCGEACHIN or AMMON BUNDY. Bundy drop out Republican party and now is running as independent candidate. Don't know much about the other candidate on Republican, compare to some of the people vote here, our current governor Brad Little is flaming liberal. Since I'm on candidate rant I might well link you to the letters my local reps that does down to Boise for me, which is SAGE DIXON and HEATHER SCOTT. There been a so called new political lines drawn in my state. I understand Heather will not be my rep. But not sure if Sage will be or not. Only democrat here get elect is usually from Boise area. So voting democraticc is a waste of time in primaries. As far as I'm concern Ammon and Janice is a lunatic. If your wondering about Idaho candidates, google them. In 2016 primary Idaho vote for Ted Cruz and our county carried him.

Today Is Sunday July 18 2021, This Is What Happen

I usually just randomly pick some. past post, hopefully add a little more life. I been talking about cost of living here. As many figured out I'm close to retirement. FRUMPY PROFESSOR made a comment Is $640 available in your area that you could find a place to live and be comfortable living in? It seems if I recall you live in the Northwest. region and I fear that region 's rate is pretty hefty. General I would have to say the answer would be "NO" they aren't anything for $640. Unless one get some type of housing assistance and we don't qualify. Which is based on your income and asset. Depends on housing programs the income and your asset would be slightly different. Although not that much. The Apartment Regis is in, senior and disable ones. He pays 193 a months and he handles his own utilities. it base from his income of $893 and he can deducted any out of pocket of medical cost. Last I heard the maximum they could charge for those apartment was $650 a month. There not bad apartment. Than there housing voucher and each area is different. Once you get your voucher and each area will have the amount you could possible spend on housing...Example one bed room $425, two bed room $.500, three bed room, $575 and such. And which don't includes your utilities. So one would find something under this price and than for rent and utilities can't be over 40% of your income. Well I don't know anyone who has housing voucher who don't something extra under the table. Liz pays $440 a month, her apartment regular rent is $745. Her income  is $893 and actually her part of the rent and utilities should be no more than $357. And she over by $83 and that not cost of utilities and not sure how that being covered. Wish I had the price allowance for HUD rentals. Their so under priced. Like Social Security benefits for death of $255 dollars.

YOGI made comment about Covid. Nice pic!!

I am way behind on my stuff for the home. I'd rather take photos, ride my bike, work out, read blog posts, and make blog posts.

I didn't know Idaho had such a low vaccination rate. Oklahoma is at about 39% fully vaccinated and just over 50% for at least one shot. So many people I know say that they just don't want to because they don't think they'll get sick. The legislature wants to outlaw hospitals or any other business mandating vaccinations. Good thing the outlook was different when we were fighting small pox.
Take care!!

And the other comment I would like to share is from RIVER It's a shame people choose to not get vaccinated. My niece is the same, won't get her shots. I hope nothing happens to her, she has a little boy almost 9 and there's no way I could take him in.
I think vaccinations for a plague such as this one should be mandatory.
I thought that gold and black scrap was a pretty table mat.

We're such a divide society. Our LIEUTENAUNT GOVERNOR. is something else. She want to BAN MASK and calls the vaccine and she calls it MEDICAL TYRANNY
and I hear only about half our hospital staff is vaccinated. Oh our Ms McGeachin drove around with bible in hand. She nut case. Than we have AMMON BUNDY running for Governor of Idaho. There two shakes in stick we could get any slightly left to win. So our best bet would be Brad Little our current one. So Qunella was taking to someone we both and he refuse to get the shot. Because it making people going sterilized. I don't know if my youngest son or his wife gotten the vaccine or not. Her parents leans toward one who aren't for vaccines. Although I can't be total sure. Both of my sons have good decision making skills. So hopefully my youngest one and his wife got their covid shots. They have 2 girls and Grandparents don't make good parents. It complete different between being a parent and grandparent. Hope nothing happen.

Hubby and I went up to Ball Creek. He want out of house and get away from heat. So we was talking about retirement. He knows and understand that something happens to my present client. I won't go and look for new ones. With vaccine rate being so low. Ceramics was brought up. I don't know how thrilled I am about having people coming into my place to do ceramics. Look at vaccinated rate.  Any how I told him I understand the only place I know I can get dry clay would be on the coast. And would leave my pour table in the garage/shed. Couldn't cast in colder months. But I don't about handling the bigger molds. Well there some things needs to be done on our place for retires. Got two windows to be replaced and that lined up. And our bathroom need some remodel, it small and if either one of us is a walker or wheel chair we would have issues getting around in the bathroom. Plus redo our floors though out our entire house. There other things could be done, I call them frills. But three main things is listed just above. I did mention about putting a creative studio in basement which wouldn't take all that much. Murphy wasn't against and he actual thought it was not a bad ideal.

Today Is Monday December 14 2020, This Is What Happen

Surprise all went smooth of taking care of paper work for my ACA, affordable care act. Still don't have all paper they need, but most of it I have. Will send it off tomorrow with short letter saying the rest will follow. The info I am sending will give them the amount of income we have..

Weekly weigh in tomorrow. So more on what scales says.

Yesterday I mention about having creative studio in basement. Sure I would like it in street level entrance. But I don't have that kind of cash to purchase and rent or mortgage is something I couldn't make in my community. Having it in basement since my home is paid, I could keep the cost down. In reality I make more as personal care giver of gross monthly income of $1828. Then I would of a creative studio.

There a sack here of items to be donated to local thrift store, which I keep forgetting.

Just starting to go though my current red fabric pile. Out of pile these are my three favorite reds. One is even corduroy fabric. And fix an error I did on a quilt block I'm embroidering

Send off package to my son in Oregon. Cost $30 to ship it. And just start my Christmas Cards.

Today Is Sunday December 12 2020, This Is What Happen

Can't say it was grand slam of day, but the batter who is me, made it around the bases and landed on third. Not bad. Maybe the shortstop could of got the runner out. But didn't. Finished up this batch of yellows for the 2 inch quilt block. Sure there more yellows to do. But on to the reds.

Got the paper work done for my Affordable health care. It not bad program once you get the paper work lined up. A few pieces are missing. But what I don't like they now want proof about 2021. Don't they know what year we're still in.

Wrap the brown wrap around the package heading to Oregon. It will go out in Monday mail. Then there few local gifts to be finish wrapping. Haven't start on cards.

Decided to pull a tarot card. The one I got was the "Ace of Cups" I been sort of going though the "Tarot for Dummies" and there a list of question for each card. Well I used a random number site. The number that came was 1. "What dream has the potential of getting fulfilled?....Most of my dreams have a chance of getting off the ground. Getting my granddaughter quilts complete, very much so. If I keep plugging away at it, things and dreams will happen. As you notice I finished up pile of yellow fabric. It been a while since I mention my creative studio. Like to open after I retire. Let be honest about a few things. It going to have to be in basement. So those who aren't able to deal with stair. Don't have income to put elevator and I wouldn't make enough back to pay for it. No one in right mind would take loan out on home in there 60's. Counting my self the space would only be room for up to 8 people. Earliest I could retire is in February of 2023. And there tons of stuff down there which I went though and could go though again. Don't think it would qualify for "Hoarders" But one main reason is were I stand political could be a factor. Trump is very popular here and they don't take kindly who don't have the same mind set. But I still figure out what I might charge for use of my creative space. Today price if it was open it would be $5.00 for a morning, afternoon, or late afternoon .But the studio would be in four hour time blocks periods. They could rent supplies from me. I don't want to handle paint inventory. It great write off for taxes.  Then  it doesn't flip over fast enough and you end up tossing paints, ceramic paints go long ways. Then other thing I would like to get is wheel and raw clay. Sell that by the ounce or pounds and rent the wheel. Then there those who as small group might want to rent out creative studio. A flat fee of $15.00 to get into the door as a group. Then $2.50 an hour per person. See it nothing I could make living it could possible pay for my hobby crafts and have a little jingle in my pocket, and go purchase a cup of coffee. I defiantly don't want to go at full bore. I only want it open 12 hours a week. Let see I don't have all the things I need to open. But I did have a shop with molds, work space, and pour table. Now what I missing and not sure if I want to invest or maybe how much I want to invest. But I would need dry bags of slip, closes place I know for that is Seattle area, shipping cost, rubber bands for molds. work table, chairs, exhaust fan to take out fumes  and lumber to set up the shop. Plain and simple I don't want my pour table in my home what so every. So then there the element of cold. Couldn't cast in winter. Quite the truth ceramics molds are heavy and filthy. Been rotating my morning before work on tread mill and exercise. I am not as study with my hands as I once was. But I believe those who are interested in creating something should have the chance and not be priced out. Creative studio, doesn't mean it has to be totally for ceramics. Confession time I am still being tossed about having creative studio. One needs to live in reality.

Both Ziggy and Abner took a nap under the Christmas tree.

Today Is Saturday August 8 2020, This Is What Happen

Right now I feel disappointed in my life. I want to blame stupid people. But then there my responsibility of choices that I made and make. Not going to therapeutic on you all. I could of done____________or should of done________. There certain things we find comfort in. But the main question is it good for you all way around. I know if I was more productive I would feel better about myself. Confession time...Quite a few times I have trouble finding the balance in it all. When I plan for week activities and goals I sometime I put to much on my plate and then I become frustrated. The if I don't plan and carry them out I have guilt.

I did get the three ghost hunting filmed but for some reason I couldn't get blogger to work. PART ONE  PART TWO and PART THREE

Our county fair is going on and one local news sort got some PICTURE and as you notice non of people have mask. Statement time....It real rages me about there no mask on any of these people. I real miss our fair but I don't feel safe there. I have to wonder what numbers will be like in next two weeks.

Since Murphy and I was going to town to get a few thing. Liz need a cabinet glued and we had to long clamp bars to hold it together. She gave me a roll of aluminum siding. But before Liz I drop off package over at Regis. Last place was safeway and spend just under $40.

I don't know if I told you about my dad being tied to trees. What I understand he use to be tied a roll of trees back in Michigan. And he would untie himself and move down to another tree, then retie himself to tree.

Still working on my  version of six pentacles and I am doing it as a warehouse. I want to put and END CAP at end of rolls. Only one thing I cam up with is alligator. I know it sound weird. Maybe it something I should think about, SIX PARAGRAPH For me to move on creative activity I need to organize. "If" and there that uncertain word "If"...I spend 20 to 30 minute working on organizing my art supplies and other area I would be head of game. On one my flights home from Medford Oregon I saw a guy who had his art supplies nicely compacted. I know I mention his orderly and his reply was quite simple...Just can't  come up what he said. But it was wise. If I want to do a creative project it would be easier to purchase the supplies and the odds would be I have them some place around my home. It been while since I mention putting a small creative studio in our basement. The space wouldn't hold over ten people comfortably. Had no desire do it full time. Have it open 12 hours a week. If you every google about my area of Bonners Ferry, Boundary County Idaho. In simple term I am the odd duck and there a small percentage of us here. The other side of pancake "The election of 2020 I won't be casting my ballot for Donald Trump" and he will carry my home state of Idaho. We only have four electoral votes. Now I know people won't be knocking my door down to use my studio. I am wondering to myself why does this bother me. Since I can only handle a small amount. Then have I real done anything toward it. The straight up answer is "No" I could of and should of worked on getting myself in shape to handle the ceramics molds, plus there the organizing. And last thing I need is a small bit of capital and yes I did save out of my paycheck. But I sat nothing aside for this. Statement time...It hard to be the odd duck and know there other here like me. But to fit in you have to be or it seems to be you strong  Trump supporter and to me that means to hate and have a heart full of prejustice. Hate isn't good for anyone and it get you know wear.

Had fried rice with chicken in it. since the weather getting hot hubby and I are going mountain drive.

Today Is Tuesday July 28 2020, This Is What Happen

This morning I meant my friend Quenella at Under the Sun. Got our coffee and two of her friends meant us there.
Majority of people had no mask on. So that main reason we went over to Georgia Plaza. The strange thing one lady join us, I went to JR high with her. NORTH PINES JR HIGH but now there known as Middle School.

I was the only one still in work force. Quenella only time I known her to work out side of the home when she was in college. Her husband Michael worked building bridges until he got injured and went on disability.

Decided to take three days off at end of July and August. My retirement will be what it is. But looking back there a few choices I should of made different. Hindsight is always 20/20
Not saying I am brain or thing like that. Or I am Ivy league material. I believe if I had different childhood. supportive parents, mainly my dad. I could of got an education or found a skill and became a union member. Instead of my entire life making minimum wage or slightly above it. Now I'm slightly under $15 and hour. I honestly don't think I will for next three years get a fifty cent more an hour raise.
Not sure what will come first. I have no desire to work at job until I am 70. It depends on my health and aches and such. When I will retire. Here the plan if I am still able body. At present time hubby social security is $818 and they take out $135 for his medicare if I didn't work. We could get help with his medicare cost.
Once I figure my social security is going to be same as my husbands. And there is cost living usual it less 3% a year. So let call it 1.5% a year. So time I am 63 my hubby social security monthly income should be around $879.00. If my social security income is above $792 when I am 63, there a good chance I will retire. Regardless I will retire at 65.
We do have a little save back. The house we own is paid, and my job working with low income I learn a lot about different services. One is circuit breaker for property taxes, for low income seniors, widow, veterans, and orphans. Then possible chance they won't take the medicare cost out of our retirement check.
If your under a certain income level and also assets at certain amount. Your home doesn't account. Since we have a home that we own. The money they would of taken out of our medicare wouldn't be. But we would still have to pick up the 20% of what medicare doesn't pay. They have their own set prices. Let say medicare set a certain medical procedure at $700 our cost could be $140. Actual our medicare for our senior and disability isn't bad program. I only wish they would expand it to all Americans. We all pay a certain percent out of our income. I am thinking 1 to 3 percent.
Then there the state program and unless Trump guts them to bare bone or nothing. Then there SNAP ( Supplement Nutritional Assistant Program) At present time one assents needs to be under $5,000 for SNAP which includes cash on hand, bank account, stocks, extra property, ( your home doesn't count) extra vehicle, (your main transport vehicle  doesn't account) and recreational vehicles.
We're a long ways for qualifying for SNAP. I know we will get energy help which they will put a certain amount of grant money on our heating company.
I have some long living gene. I have over 10 relatives that made it past ninety, one Aunt died at 102, and two of my aunts are in there 90 and still kicking.
Confession time....Knowing there a strong possibility as senior I will be on some type of dole, it embarrassing.
Then there was ceramic shop I didn't make that much, time I paid rent, insurance, power, restock supplies and repairs. On good day I would come home with $20 in my pocket. I thought of reopen a shop in our basement once I retire. The over head won't even be close to what was. It could be operated as a part time business and also the over head would be quite a bit less.  I still have all of my equipment for ceramic shop.
My husband is far from dumb. But for 50 years he smoked marijuana and lot of job gives you a drug test and the tree farms usual didn't. I don't yell all the loud of his marijuana use. I did my powders and drinked.
There not famous for wages. He did enjoy working in trees.
When our sons was little I stayed home and the wages I would of made would of just go to daycare. So there blank years in my social security.
A short time right out high school I lived in Washington, non right to work state. Idaho is a right to work state and usual the wages there is lower. Might as well say non union support.
Both Murphy and I are real good handling money. Even with low income we still save a little for raining day.
Fingers can be pointed both ways and at our own self.

Today Is Wednesday May 13 2020, This Is What Happen

First thing is first. I am sure I am not the only shared this posted in one of local on line paper, about our town MASCOTT. But other social media got hold of this story.  I already send out a card to him. He tells all ladies how wonderful they look. I love it when say how skinny I am. I just giggle.
There plenty things I grumble and grip about politics here, but we have some most warm heart people in my community.
Confession time...I hope the family doesn't mind I share a link.

There always project here to do. The northwest corner of shed/garage roof need some work. Before that some ceramic molds need to be moved.
Both Murphy and I went out and rearrange the ones in barn/shed, got up on molds and start to move them back farther.
I knew I was out of shape and never attempt to move any of larger and heavier molds. Good thing they weren't any of the super big ones, like the larger gnomes.
But actual all ceramic molds are still in good shape.

I been on tired side all day.

Today Is Saturday May 9 2020, This Is What Happen.

Before I tell you about my brief walk down at doggie park. It was comment about my weight gain. For a while I did get under 200 pounds. I slowly start to go back up. For a few weeks I held my weight in the 203 to 204.50. Fought not to let it go above 205.
I need to get back under 200. Friday weigh home weigh in I was at 202.4. I redid my goal and working getting my self under 200 pounds by end of June. And if scales reads 200.4 on June 30, I will meant my goals.
I did say I would never get back over 200 pounds. Also years ago I thought I would never be this heavy. If someone told me I would have a weight problem. I would thought they were totally nuts.

Did take my walk down at park. It been a while since I been down there. A few people letting there little fur balls run about.

Some how the fence got knock down, Didn't see any tire tracks. But like I said it been a while since been down there.

Notice that the cotton wood by river. I should walk down there this next couple week and see if picnic table are down there.
The area I liked to just spend me time. Only had one picnic table up, and no trash cans. But with Covid I can understand why things aren't moving along.
I am sure it will be taken care of.

Some new flowers and the deer are hard on them. So I thought I would share them with all my readers.

Yellow tulip. It looks like my purple ones will bloom shortly. Hopefully both colors at same time.
These grape hyacinths seems to do the best. I did have some banana hyacinths.
My narcissus are scratched about. Not sure how many I have of these.

I laid out my quilt block and thought I knew where my fabric was, that I want to use for sashing. Personally I would term framing.
I have two other totes I can dig though. The fabric I'm looking for I was  going to use it for aprons.

Did a little shopping on net. Few of items I fairly sure I couldn't fine locally. Anyhow Murphy and I went in earlier. Like most time very few had mask and usual people mind there social distance part, but not to day.

I know darn well could find this in my local shops. So Regis had me order it. I did get a few items for Murphy and I. Only one fun things I place a bid on ACEO or ATC card. Forgot to get any non fusible interfacing for mask. I find something to use.

First chore hubby and I did was reinforce the rafters in shed. Liz gave me a pile of cedar boards. So the project was pretty much on the free side.

We talk about building a bat house out the cedar boards.
I am hoping to get up to one of the hardware stores this week, to purchase a hummingbird feeder.
There a few solar lights to be put up. But I need to get something to stake into the ground.

Trying to figure out what is possible for me to this up coming week. I know there work. And I have a few ideals what I would like to get done. But what is feasible is the question.
I can see where a bullet journal is helpful. I use to write a list what I want to accomplish and it would seem much easier with a bullet journal, compare to a little piece of paper, Floating about.
Then also when it was written down I seem to get more done. And had no lap tap or devices to pull me away.

The last two weeks my average calorie intake has 1,925, and I pretty much stayed at same weight range.
So I think I need to drop my calorie intake by 10%, rounding it to nears 10th.
So I am going to try to drop my calorie intake to 1,730
These nutrition I seem to be low in vitamin d, vitamin C, and potassium, which I am not making 50% of RDA. There other I am slightly low on.
Then there is 5 I tend be over 150% of RDA which are iron, niacin, phosphorus, selenium, and Sodium.
I am using fit day an on line food tracker. How would they know my sodium intake, If I use a salt shaker or not. I am not a big fan of salt.
Then comes to vitamin d how can they figure how much I been outdoor soaking up sun. I live fairly north and we don't get much sun.
First day of summer we have over 14 hours of sunlight. Then the first day of winter we have not quite 8 hours of sunlight.
It look like I miss a few days of keeping track of things.
But they have mood tracker and one of them is stress. Not sure what it is. But lot of people made the statement I am cool as cucumber. Lot of time I think I am basket case.
Last two weeks mostly I felt calm, but there 2 days of each I felt neutral and stressed.
I did take a walk half the distance. My hip is still giving me some trouble, although much better.

I been doing a little family history. I been recording info on my mom siblings. She one of 12 and there 3 left.

I did get some more quilt blocks done. Looks like there enough strips cut for 3 more blocks and after that they will need to be pressed out and trim all same.

Today Is Monday January 6, This Is What Happen

First true Monday that will be complete work week. I like some to routine and my ducks in roll. Yes I under stand that there always that one duck that flutters out of group.

Took about 15 minute break and went and check out what I thought was our local quilt guild. Lot of ladies where member's.
These ladies where working on quilts for QUILTS BEYOND BORDERS we have a chapter here in my home area.
But I would like to be involved in a guild. I need help with mitered corners on my quilts. Although it only sound like the guild really doesn't have a time that they get together and sew.
But couple of ladies said I would be welcome to there church.
The Catholic and Baptist here get together and quilt together. And ask if I had to be a member of there church. One lady said she a Lutheran. But I got a number from one lady who bought an old grade school and I under stand on Thursday they get together and sew. I gave the number a call and left a message.
I wish I paid more attention to when the Catholic and Baptist get together, they would be a lot closer.
But if I need more info the quilting guild meets first Monday of the month at the extension office.

I keep dreaming what I will do when I retire. At this point I will retire sometime between Feb of 2065 and May 2065.
On my 63 birthday I want to see about my BENEFITS from my husband social security. And see what the rules are about me still working and building up mine.
I was stay at home mother when the boys were young and I have a lot of blank years.
I want to be an active retire person, as for my retirement I sure ain't going to jet around the world. But there sure I can be active and enjoy my life.
In a few weeks I can be part of our local senior center. Well the few times I been there they seem to cranky ole things.
I want to go hiking, biking, play games cards and board games, also be involved in different crafts, and most of all learn new things.

Weigh in morning and I need to be under 200 pound range. Our weigh lost group is going up and have a little brunch together.
I feel like I did ok this week. Only a little trouble this afternoon I start to pig out on cookies and pulled my self together. I was stress eating.
Stress eating isn't plan.

Today Is Saturday January 4 2020, This Is What Happen

One of areas I place my snow people I haven't shown in one my blog post. So I thought I would place it on today's post.

I made 8 items to complete between today and tomorrow. At this point I can truly say I got my table cleared off, my snow people put away. And got my paper work in.

I believe I might complete one or two more task if I didn't get interrupted. One was phone call from my friend Quenella and then Murphy repaired our pet door.
Glad to always here from friends and I sometime an extra pair of hand does come in handy.

I might got a little more done. I have started on the coffee table and organize sort of for up coming video.
Wasn't on my to do list fold a load of laundry

Question time...Have you every bought anything from ad off social media? I find it interesting what they try to sell us. At times I wonder. There been time that MOSCHINO ad have came across some of my social media pages. First of all I couldn't afford anything from this company and if I could I strongly doubt I would purchase from them.
Let see what twitter going try to sell me...Insurance, progressive and some type of reward program.
Facebook and this one I just shake my head at times. Ok let see what ads are paying for my page. Wayfair, My searches which does custom made pens and things like that, Ispy a make company, and Bululu which looks like some type ink craft.
Then on my you tube page I ended up with ad from Fabletics, Fad Fit Fun, and Boom by Cindy Joesph.

It been a while since I did a report and checking. Still have to do a December 2019 and a yearly one for 2019.
I will try have some type of report up tomorrow.

Today Is Sunday November 24, This What Happen.

Yesterday I was visit one my regular blog, High Riser and one of his recent post, SUNDAY SELECTION and when he brought up the faith of JEHOVAH WITNESS
Today is day I am going to share my experience of JW, and no I never been one or even came close.
In high school I did visit one of there mid week service. Not sure what actual called it. But I will call it "Testimony Wednesday" not even real sure what day it was.
As we sat in the service. The people were pretty much confessing there sin or short comings. And the ending of everyone was "If it wasn't for lord I would________________.
I was ask if I want or need to give a testimony. I was even polite then. A simple no thank you. What I gave.
Shortly after wards she moved in with a guy and was kicked out of JW religion
Then when they coming banging on your door. If I see them coming up. I grab a small note book and pen.
And no other faith I know of ask about your relationship with Christ, as they do. Before it goes any farther. As I am handing them the note book and pen. I ask them for there name and address so I can come to there door step and preach to them on "Paganism". So far I haven't yet got and address. Confession time...I wouldn't real know what I would of done, if I got one there address.
There been a few time I seen them out public with a nice display of there literature. One day my hubby and I was driving though NEW PORT WASHINGTON and one of them and a female was on street corner, and I was going to give my hubby a ten dollar bill. And I want him to approach her as if she was a hooker.
I wouldn't get him to do it. I just want to see the look on her face.

This Is a good enough time to briefly mention of my retirement goal. It been a while and I mean a while since I mention any thing about my ceramics.
Well after I retire I would like to put in a small studio in my basement and have it open to some what the public, part time
But in all honestly I am in no shape to handle much the molds. I try to look up my larger mold weight and I guess I would have to guess around 30 pounds and that not with clay or slip in it.
I some time struggle when caring larger cat feed bags around.
Simple I let my self get out of shape.
See I been a part of weight lost support system, and I have develop better health habits. But being constant can be anther matter.
I get tired of keeping track of things when it comes to my health.
I lost 20 pounds in 18 months. Haven't lost any more then that. My 2019 goal was to loose .75 pounds a week. 3 pounds of month. My year of end goals was to be down 30 pounds.
Am I giving up? "No"
This afternoon we went and visit with Quenella. She gave me three of her advent calendar that her children had.
This one I am sending down to Medford to my middle grand daughter. I bought three advent calendar with milk chocolate for each of them.
Plus I am tossing in my finely ground coffee for my Turkish coffee I can have when down there for Christmas.

Today Is Sunday November 10, This Is What Happen

Looks like last time I posted was on Last Wednesday and I believe both Thursday and Friday I took my clients shopping.
I can say in usual in all honesty I don't get carried away when I am in a store.
Now thrift stores I do find it a little more challenging.
I have a few bounds. I don't go to clearance section in store, until I have what I need. Toilet paper is more important then usual what in clearance section store.
Not going to talk about the few things I got when I went shopping. Yes I did buy toilet paper and the clamp thing to hook to my jig saw to mix paint.

There 3 things I want to accomplish today. First group was to get of so called paper work. A letter to friend and also send off my paper work  for job. But I forgot there no mail tomorrow it veterans day. Thing will go out Tuesday.
Clean out my car, so now it ready to vacuum.
Last thing is to clear off my dinning room table. I have to say I am well of three fourth done. But I don't know why this a struggle.

Yesterday we went to Spokane over to see Bart family. We all went to the MAC and saw the Norman Rockwell exhibit.
Confession time I am more or less middle road when it come to Norman Rockwell. Oh Not say I am dead or emotional less toward them. If I could of I would of taken some photo. But there were sign no pictures.

But what I enjoyed the female Indian exhibit. There were quite a few basket made out of quite a few different types of materials. The size and shapes of them. And designs was totally amazing.

There were plenty of fashion part of exhibit. And Indians like group had there ranking of status among there own community. Chief and those connect directly with him they lived in bigger wigwam and usual there was other so called building for other life.
Like all children they had there toys and items from there childhood. Confession time...I have thought of making doll clothes for my grand daughter dolls.

Best way to explain this is some part of tribe would ride so called Royal coach. I just don't know any other term to use.

Always want to see KENDALL YARD. When I was growing up it was known as felony flats. And I wasn't quite sure what to expect. I thought they would of been a few more village types of shops there. Maybe I didn't get to see the entire thing.
We ate Kendall yard a place called CENTRAL FOODS. Couldn't tell what every one had I had omelet with squash, caramelized onion, red pepper, and very fine chop bacon. And you can see side potatoes with carrots.

Days being so short and usual I don't struggle like this about shorter days. I make sure I a lease get some sunshine. Today Murphy and I went for a short hike.

On way back we stop where deep creek runs into the kootanai river. I was surprise there was some ice up edge of deep creek.

A little blur. But my weekly page from Bullet journal. Thinking of changing the term from Mindful to just me. I am trying to learn give my self credit and I am important. The only day I didn't mark it off was Friday and Saturday.
But I am improving keeping up on things in my bullet journal.
This morning weigh in and I still not under 200 pounds on scale at my home. I looking forward being below 199.75
Hopeful I can share about quilts I saw at Museum very soon.

Now How Should One Think.

Trying to figure what to post about, my minds is little in thought. Or maybe I am tired of thinking of what my life will be like when I retire.
I've posted before what I believe I will be getting. But it depends on which calculator I use, at age of 67 when I can 100% of my benefits I will get something between $650 and $1,000
Right now the maximum retirement is $2,861 and on the average social security goes up from .50% to 3% a year. But good around number is 1.5% pay increase per year.

Murphy and I been talking about different thing on how we will spend our retirement year. I want to retire off the people I take care of.
We thought of selling and moving. But were to is the question. There something to say not have mortgage. I know people who in there retirement has a mortgage.
The only thing as for housing cost would be property tax, there property tax break for low income seniors and up keep.
Then the regular living cost. I don't drink "Dom Perigon Rose Gold" and I had to look that one up.
Part of living is vehicle up keep and cost.

I've looked into putting ads on both my blog and and over on my you tube channels. And what I understand most blogger makes $10 to $25 a month. You know this would cover all my cleaning supplies, paper products, and soaps.
Not sure how to put and add in. I some what looked into it. But what I kept running into is to...that if I want to buy ad space or ad time.
Confession time...I find blogs that is cover with ad space is distracting.
But I understand why people have adds on there social media sights.

Not sound self center  or prideful. I am pretty creative and I resourceful. I am sure I can come up some way bringing in extra income or cutting expensive.
Then I still have all my supplies for my ceramic shop.
One of my friend makes between $5,000 to $10,000 selling and trading crafts a year.

Here is LINK to money exchange

I shouldn't be complaining. I have roof over my head a comfy bed to sleep in, three square meals a day. Plus no major health issues. And most important a family and friend who loves me.
I need to lay off the "Pitifully me attitude"

Had Some Thoughts They Were Zap

As I was briefly cruising though my regular pages I take part in, before I headed out door to work. I had a few ideals what I could possible blog about.
Now there nothing up stairs. I know there a little up there. I wouldn't be posting about nothing. But sometime thing like that.

I hit the 202 (91) and my end of the year goal was to be at 200 (90) or below.

Murphy is showing a lot of improvement, those shingle took him for a zap. Still not recovering. They want him to see a neurologist but he decided to cancel his appointment. He is doing so much better but I think it was a stupid ideal on his part.
He self medicaid him self with marijuana. See he person that can't stop thinking.
When I was young I smoke marijuana on fairly regular bases. Now of years the effect of it has changed.
Now my brain quites down and I get a paranoid feeling. No fun!

Confession...I like marijuana in baked goods. I get zip a dee doo dah day. But I sure still wouldn't want to do it on a regular bases. For what every reason I like keeping my wits about me. Only did the once lost complete control of my thought process. And that was enough for me.
Not trying to be to critical I've mass trouble with alchol or powders.
My last client Donna she would make even a strong saint "drink to intoxication" so one would pass out and get up the next morning and go to work.
I'm so thankful I have Regis and Liz for clients.

Looking back my dad I believe now had some type of bi polar, and he medicated him self with alchol. A functioning alcholic.

He held down a good job. Drop out of high school his freshman year and got on railroad in Michigan. Then for a brief time he mange a diary, went back working on railroad. Stayed there until he retired in his 60's
Bills were paid, never worried about not having shelter, clothing, or food.
But emotional and mental support was a total different story.
Got start on rail on right side of the porch. Bart is planning to come up and help us on a few projects that needs to be done for the snow fly.

Maybe I should keep a list of things I want to blog about. I do have BULLET JOURNAL and I got put it in that.

One Done And Not Sure

Murphy haul the scapes of wood from our side deck that we been tearing off. I forgot to mention that we got new tires on pick up, just under $900.

He cut down some of the trees on North side of our property. Not sure how I like it. I understand the tree were to close and need to be thin out.

Two Christmas of 2017 I never got done. Guess what I done the locker hook rug. It going to my son Sawyer and his wife Betty.
I like doing recycle or repurpose items.
I still need to finish up Liz crochet rag rug. Lot of fabrics I'm using is used bed sheets.
One of the fabric shop is having a twenty five percent off sale on there fabric. So far I've stay away. I got two tote full of fabric.
One is a yard or more and the other is less then a yard.
This up coming Christmas I'm going to do up hot pad holders, using scrap fabrics.

Day three of the Ultimate blog challenge. Now where does my blog go. It depends on how much time I have.
But I still want to have a little ceramic studio in my basement once I retire. And I know I should use social media more then I do.
I know it promotes many things in life.
I use twitter, facebook, and instagram for social media, mostly. I do have google plus and pinterest account. Which I haven't use for a while.
I've been cutting back on facebook it seem there a lot of division and anger out there.
One of local bakery here I was talking to her and it takes her two hours a day of promoting her business, though social media. And it takes away from her time making goodies.
Some of blog I visit use comment luv, and I seem to like it. I haven't every tried to use it. But I'm sure there some disadvantage to it.
But remember I blog for fun.

There Need to Be

Before I get into the nitty gritty of troubles of moving forward in my dreams. I want to mention that my son and his wife sat up a new site called WOOF WEAR AND COMPANY still doing bandanna for our fur friends.
$10 donation would place "Daisy Teeth Cleaning" over $650 and there is a link on the right side of blog. Below "Things To Click On" remember I match donations.

It been a while since I mention about having a ceramic studio. And the going on with it. It moving at turtle pace. a slow one at that.
I have two tins and on my pay day I stick $20 in it. One is for Daisy.
But the other one is for ceramic supplies to run a business. Some thing I will need is RUBBER BANDS, STOPPERS, SOME POTTERY TOOLS, BRUSHES, PAINTS, HALF HORSE POWER MOTOR and such.
I didn't even mention the construction part of it.
Don't know how many of you went to "Woof Wear" and read there "About Us" my son gives his wife moral support.
I don't real have any moral support. I can't honestly say there been no negative words toward re-opening a ceramic studio.
I don't have my head in the sand about the financial end of it. That why I still work. My husband social security is $669 a month. If you want to look the value of in your currency, CLICK HERE.
So that the reason I pretty much work full time. We could live on $669 and if life went smoothly and I know that not happening.
So for those little bumps in life and things.
See when I become 60. Planning to cut my hours down to 18 hours a week.
Run my ceramic shop something like...
Tuesday 6PM to 9PM
Wednesday 12PM to 3PM
Thursday 9AM to 12PM
and continue working less hours. I was going to cut back 12 hours but the CHANGES in social security.
I was born in 1960. If I take my retirement at 62 I would loose 30% of my retirement. I will sign up once I hit over 65 and before 68. It will be more.
So for the ceramic shop would be something I enjoy and to bring in some extra income. I would guess in today dollars running shop part time gross income will be about $150.00 a week, and all business has there cost of operational. Which I sort of figured.
No one know when, will, or how much a raise I will get at this point if everything stay the same working the 18 hours a week and the $150.00 the gross income weekly will be
At this point $373.75, and most of it would be from job wages.
If I operated ceramic studio more hours I doubt the income would be any more or less.
But there still small things I can do toward the shop. Getting my self in better shape so I can handle those molds better, also get rid of that one pile in our basement...It been agreed that if yard sale doesn't happen before snow flies late in 2017 like in October. The items are going to the thrift store. There not being store year after year.
Plus instead of grumble and gripping about the shop and work. I could do up a few piece, try to sell them on line, or do some local craft show.
Before I head out to local craft show I would need a lot more inventory.
I do have plans to have a ceramic shop and yes I wish I could just quite my job and open the shop. Life just isn't that way for me.

As for eating it was my naughty day and I did mange to get in a little more walking the usual.

Today Is Tuesday, October 13, 2026: This Is What Happened.

Got my morning chores done, plus pulled out the vacuum cleaner. So I guess everyone smart enough. To figure out what I did. I'm thin...
