Once again I'm going to take part in WORDLESS WEDNESDAY. For some reason I had trouble getting my photos off my camera. I was about ready to toss in towel. Not used the quick photo I took of tree in the mountains.

Today Is Wednesday, November 13, 2024: This Is What Happened.

 

It has been some time since I've bought embroidery floss retail. Usually, they come from thrift stores. But I don't have any variegated colors of floss. I want yellow as the primary color. So, I'm about ready to start another Wizard of Oz scene. A quilt block. Will be taking part in wordless wednesday. 

It was a busy day. We had a round-table discussion of earth-based topics—nothing hard-core. I guess one could say we talked about this and that related to earth-based faith.

I went to the senior center since they were having ham and bean soup. They also serve a mix of broccoli and cauliflower as vegetables, cornbread muffins, and apple crisps. I cleaned the main bathroom sink.

Over at Wiki Art, in the search bar, I put in the word "Zapped," and the 8th artwork was one of DIEGO RIVERA. I've seen quite a few things about his wife, Frida Kahlo. His grandson has made a film, A PORTRAIT OF DIEGO: THE REVOLUTIONARY GAZE. I haven't yet found this film.

Today Is Wednesday, July 31, 2024: This Is What Happened.

 

This morning, I meant Quenella under the sun. But before I meant Quenella, I went for a walk at Riverside Park and walked the trails. For some reason, I like cat tails—that's what we call them here. Instead of coffee, I had a glass of lemonade. Plus, I bought a candy bar.

The earth wheel is turning for LUGHSNASADH, the first harvest celebration. I created a three-card layout.

Question number one: What is ready to be harvested? I have the hermit card in reserve. It is about being alone as one gets older. I have thought at times about when either Murphy or I might be widowed, a midlife period of my life.

Question number two: How can I show graduate? I got the Fool card. I need to step out of my comfort zone. I don't know what the fool has to do with graduate.

The hermit and the fool to me is bi-polar.

Question number three: How can I celebrate community? I got the six of pentacles ,reserve. Be cautious.

Confession time...This doesn't make sense.

Today, art dates from 1991, the year my youngest son Bart was born. It was by ALFREAD FREDDY KRUPA. Sometimes, when I find the ART MOVEMENT, I wonder if they just drew some type of term out of a hat. His art movement is known as the NEW INK MOVEMENT.

Today Is Friday, March 29, 2029: This Is What Happened.

I need to remember about Wordless Wednesday. This week's words are BEWILDERMENT, GOSSAMER, MIDNIGHT, WINDOWLESS, PREVIOUS, UMBRELLA, and SURIVOR. RIVER came up with these words. 

It has been said never to remove the gossamer from the old Johnson homestead. The house was built during the War of the Tulips, which has been over for at least eight generations. Still, people were affected by the war.

Now one of the direct descendants of the original Johnson family. Got a deed to the property. It is a direct descendant of the only survivor of Mary Johnson. Who left the area after the murder of her family. She married, had a family, and died of old age. Some say you will see about the property in the week of spring. Holding an umbrella, walking around the place. The last Sunday around midnight before she leaves. All of the town of Sassville. You will hear Mary yelling, "My revenge is your fate." Then she tosses a rock through a window and someone home in Cassville as she leaves. Someone every year becomes windowless. In previous years, it was a drugstore on Main Street.

Since the so-called tales of old Johnson Place, the people of Sassvile have been bewildered by the rock being tossed through the window.

Why not a photo of clouds? The clouds have been changing quite a bit today. I went to Physical Therapy. I got a copy of the check I wrote to the I.R.S. and the form at our library. I noticed an upcoming event I might be interested in doing—a potluck at some time. I need to look into it more. I'm linking to SKYWATCH FRIDAY.

Murphy and I went to the senior center for lunch. We got a good ole slap today. The senior center is being audited by several agencies. It looks like it could be closed for 3 to 6 months. 

Our senior center handles the low-income senior and disability apartments. 

They will have the Meals on Wheels program, monthly senior boxes, and the savaging food program. 

I'm still doing artist trading cards. I love Seattle Choc and made a collage using the wrap from the candy bar. For the other, I drew a woodpecker.

I posted this yesterday. Hopefully, someone can answer my question. Question time...I want to do a "Round Robin" in a different person. Do a page in my zig zag book and pass it to the next person. And not having the person look at the previous page. I would guess this has been done before. Who would you contact, or how would you go about doing this?

Next three days, is what I call light blogging. I been going though the photos on my lap-top. And went picked up after plumb project. Still need to sweep.

Had Coffee with Quenella and stop in at library and order a book, though inter-library program.

In the afternoon. I went my water color class. I learn a new technique of holding my pencil more flat. Than straight up and down. Had more control of my pencil. Plus I'm taking part in art every day in November. DAY ONE

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Today Is Wednesday January 4 2022, This Is What Happen.

 On my first Wednesday off, at first, it felt weird. I start to deep clean our fridge. Actually, only a little got tossed out.

 I never got to the outside of it or cleaned the floor and sugar canisters. But I also ran some white vinegar through the drip coffee pot. It was pretty slow.

Snow is coming off the roof.

In my calisthenics, I add some weights. However, since it was my first time, I only did a small amount with the weights.

 I got out some can food that weighed 15 ounces.

Murphy took Regis over to Newport, which is across the state line. Into Washington. They're getting cannabis. On the way back, they will stop at the library in Sandpoint. I have a few things on hold.

It is pretty icy, and one needs to be careful.

Yesterday I stopped at SUPER ONE, and I'm getting more and more perturbed with them. First, it was with them letting the local book banner and their petition set up in the store foyer.

I'm thankful they didn't get anywhere.

Now yesterday I went into the store to shop for Liz. It is relatively easy. Well, both of my clients use SNAP, and I've used the cards for ages. Now they want us to get a note for our clients or a permission slip to do their shopping. Even the clerk who checked me out knew me.

We have three other places that handle food here. One is up the north side. The other two are on the south side, closer to me. SAFEWAY is expensive and GROCERY OUTLET, which prices are much better. But their inventory changes quite often.

Well, we have the SPOT BUS up here. That goes down to Sandpoint twice a week. But the only grumble I have is the time it down in Sandpoint, around hours. It would be good if they had another bus run down to Sandpoint on the same day. So people aren't stuck there for six hours. So a trip down to Sandpoint would be every three to six weeks. But the other issue is managing the items we could get down Sandpoint. It could be figured out how to spot bus run into Sandpoint.

Today Is Monday July 4 2022, This Is What Happen.

 

Didn't feel like blogging yesterday. I gave my self permission to be lazy. I went over to see my Aunt Eve. If you look up the word pessimistic in dictionary there would be a photo of my dad and my Aunt. Such gloomy person. She thought it was awful I didn't go up to the cemetery to put flowers on my parents grave. In so many words it was about presenting the correct image. Anther word don't color elephant any other color than gray. Well I choose to leave in 45 minutes.

Got my week endeavor. If I complete one I'm moving forward. Got new battery put in scale and they do work. These are some of the little extra I hope to complete for my clients, during the week.

Only worked a part of day. So I came home. Finish pressing some fabrics. Complete what I had set out. Next is to cut what I need and place them in there totes. I'm sure I will get time window when I can complete that. Paid a few bills.

This week I hope to practice some setting on my camera. This week I'm going to use the Automatic setting on my camera.

I been watching over on you tube some videos about our FIRST LADY wives and those who play the part of hosting with our President. Although Lindsay Holiday, she has two more video to complete. I found them very interesting. I hope at end she will make play list out of them.

Talking about Presidents. Every so often I see people stop at our distinguish sign as you almost every in Bonners Ferry from south end. You'll see people pull over and taking photos. I have to wonder what there thoughts are. I tried looking briefly on google. But so far no luck.

It wet and raining here over our country birthday. I wasn't planning to go to the local celebration. I surely ain't going to take chance getting shot. To many mask shootings. They talk about “Good Guy With a Gun”. How can one tell if a person packing a gun is good guy or some derange person packing. With a supreme court resent decision on Roe vs Wade. I'm glad I got my crafts. By the way when store earlier some guy had his side arm (gun). Not sure if he was a “Good Guy” or some “Derange Person” I ain't waiting around to see.

Today Is Thursday October 14 2021, This Is What Happen

 Let see how this line out works. Or should be line up. Hope photo and font doesn't look to odd. This last scarecrow I bought. Going name my scarecrows after hubby and my Ancestors. Not sure if I will use there given name or possible nickname. Murphy dad was name Dewayne and was call Dee. My dad given name was Harold, and was called Pete.

Since I haven't been to work and no sick time. Money isn't flowing in. But Monday the 18th I can go back to work, it will be 10 days since I shown symptoms. Although Murphy has appointment to be test tomorrow, Friday the 15th. But Regis to be test quite late on Friday. Than Liz is to be test on Monday the 18th. I will have Murphy ask when he goes in. If my client test positive am I safe to go to there place and work. I want some one with science back ground. So hubby will ask for me. 

So since this household is in quarantine. There a few things I got to work on. Got all the summer yard stuff up, put out Halloween lights. Worked on some my fabrics. Well I cut strips from ole sheets and pillow cases. Than rolled them into fabrics balls. It will be a while before I actual get crochet a rag rug from under my table. Before I go back to work I would like to make swatches out of my beiges fabrics and I have 2 yellow fabrics. Needs press and cut into strips for my current quilt I'm slowly working on. But I'm working on.

Well the therapist called and I got my first appointment on the 25th at 8AM. Put some photos on a thumb drive. Still got more to do. Keeping one for Murphy and I. Than give one to each of my son family.

Today Is Tuesday March 9 2020, This Is What Happen

 

I just like the brich trees in front of pine and fir trees. No leaves yet, and notice some tulips agaist people places are up, although nothing in bloom.

Last week was diffucult for me. I talk to one of people in office about the electronic visit verification. And I was wondering about taking my client out in community. Opinion time...I think clients should be given more time to socialize. The only thing the state and private insurance wants us to do is like I said take them to nessuary things, like to get food and anything medical. But taking them to local museums and such there having a fit. I believe this will have negative effect on those who are getting personal or home care in there home, in long run.

I haven't been out for walk for sometime. I took short walk after work. They put in a new street and I believe the street is called "selkirk" and in photo your looking at selkirk mountain range. I haven't been doing fitday and not being accoutable at all this week. Anyhow I was hoping to stay the same weight. I hurt so bad last week or so. I didn't get much exersise in. My main exersise was work and pacing for the pain. Well I was up a little over a pound. Is it an excuse or not. I forgot to get my HYDROCHLOROTHIAZINE. See I have slightly elevate blood pressure and edema. So drink water and exersise is important. If I set to much my ankle and lower leg swell up. Not my feet. So today weigh in was 207.4. My next Tuesday weigh in should be less then 206.6 or less. First thing I ate this morning was two and half scrambled eggs. Last thing I ate took bite into were pork chops.

Did little bit of ironing of fabric during the news hour.
