Today Is Wednesday, August 9, 2023: This Is What Happened

It has been ages since I took part in WORDLESS WEDNESDAY.

I know I posted about our sign on the south side of Bonners Ferry. One of our local online news sources did a story of a well-known SIGN. I wondered what people from out of this area feel and think about a sign like this.

Don’t want to post anymore on this. But I have something I need or want to bring up Trump supporters.

I got a little walk-in. My right ankle is doing a lot better.

Been doing small chores around the place. Wash the sink, toilet, and tub in the bathroom. Quickly sweep and vacuum. Last night I sprayed for flies, and they were lying on the floor. Dead!

I’m not a fan of processed meats. But the best way to eat processed meat is fried. I’ll keep doing odds-ends around the place. Murphy has a doctor’s appointment later in the afternoon.

Time for assignment from” Self-Esteem Journal” I felt good about myself when...I don’t judge myself too harshly.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

Thursday June 22, 2023: This Is What Happened.

Yesterday I went for a walk, now I'm going up to the filth power pole. The wild daisy are in bloom. And I saw little bird sitting on the power line.

Murphy and I went over to the town of Priest River, to see a friend. We also stop at library there to look the exhibit of SPARKS OF INNOVATION. I don't know why, but I thought it would be bigger. I enjoyed it. Plus I got my hit of culture.

Also walk though the library in Priest River. And mange to get some photos around the area.

Plus I went to art and we did a sun. At sometime I would like to do a serious of suns. In what I call my spiritual creativity art journal book. It been sometime since I worked in it.

Last few days I been working on my creativity.

Also yesterday, I did tarot card lay out. For the summer solstice. It mainly about change. I know each day I been getting closer to retirement, and I been working on my thoughts. With the help of my therapist.

Murphy and I been working on redoing the fence. Taking down the garden fence. And re-wrapping it around the raspberries. We don't need as a large of garden.

It sad that all died on the submersible are dead. People such be above safety and profits.

Today musician comes from the state of WASHINGTON. Featuring the band PEARL JAM. The song BETTER MAN. And here are the LYRICS.

Today Is Sunday March 5 2023, This Is What Happen.

$50 is what I was going to spend on amazon. Here is my list...Skirt hanger, skull hoodie, Maus II, set of an artist book. I would give one to my friend Lolita and a pack of twenty-four A.A. batteries. Unfortunately, I only got the batteries; they ran $65.

We went to Sandpoint. We got things that are outside of Bonners Ferry. I got myself a pair of shoes at Wall Mart—something to knock around with. Murphy got three T-shirts. And we got a microwave. Then we went to Home Depot and picked up some new light cover sheets.

I went through my closet and sorted out my clothes. Tops and dresses. First, I removed all my stained pieces, which can be turned into rags. Then the ones that just don't fit will be dropped off at the thrift store.

I'm shooting for Wednesday to get my clothes in the closet done. I have my clothes hung back in clothes, those I wear quite often and those I hardly wear.

No out-of-town doctor appointments. Just two local ones. I got my photo on my Facebook page from the play I saw at the Pearl. I saw "The Play That Goes Wrong"; it was pretty funny. But I'm wondering why I had so much trouble with what I put in "What on your mind"...I think the term "got my fix" bothered them. My memory serves me correctly. This is what I posted.

I got my arts and culture fix. I went to see a play in Bonners Ferry called "The Play That Goes Wrong" here in Bonners Ferry at Pearl Theater.

It's time to visit three random blogs that left a comment... I'm using a comment from the HIGH RISE....Very interesting. In your first question, you should have had an answer to your second question without having to ask the second question. Why does the A.I. focus on commercial and professional blogs and not personal blogs?... There is other A.I program. I just went to the one I heard about on TV. I started to wonder if I got their subscription one, what would I get? I don't know. At this point, it is overrated. I see myself using it less often. Plus, asking the question was challenging.

The second comment I will be using comes from LAW OF GRAVITY. Her comment reads as fellow...Ouch. Falling is not fun. I hope you heal up quickly.

I like to read books I've read before. They're comforting. Usually, it's like watching a favorite scene from a favorite movie. I'll just read the bits I enjoyed. When we first shut down in 2020, I found that I didn't like reading new books, just ones I'd enjoyed before.

I liked The Birdcage. Cute movie.... I recovered reasonably quickly before. I rarely watch the same movies or read the same book. My friend Quenella get to get know the story and people in books.

What I saw of bird cage I liked it. The DVD started to act up. Now I'm watching a Tim Burton movie, "Corpse Bride" with Johnny Depp in it.

The third and last comment will be from SONG BIRDS CRAZY WORLD, and she shared these thoughts... I'm glad you got the chance to enjoy the theater...As many of you know, I want Arts and Culture. Our town has a little in that area. I have a significant issue with most of Idaho's political lineup. I don't see myself moving over politics. But if the Pearl close down. No rumor or talk of it happening. I would be pushing Murphy on the idea of moving.

Today Is Sunday February 26 2023, This Is What Happen.

Got a little picked up around the place. Went through a couple of drawers of clothing. Two pieces are heading to the thrift store, and three I'm tossing. Not short on rags.

This morning I made biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. Hubby helps with the gravy. For a while, I have been craving biscuits and gravy. It can be messy to make. Chicken is what we are having for dinner, along with potatoes and corn.

Went to tarot and tea; I bought my tarot game this time. First time using it. The only thing I did with it was lightly glancing at it. Statement time...This game could be used as a learning tool.

They were about 15 in our tarot group.

The Pearl recently had an online survey. Once I know the results of the survey. I will share it here on my blog.

Sadly the war in Ukraine is still going on. I have never experienced war. Which I'm thankful for. I don't see Russia pulling out of Ukraine, either. At this, my main concern is that China buddy up with Putin.

This bothers me! A special day of "Hate" and shame on them. Confession time...I have an issue with those who promote hate on anything. Or only believe a coin has one side.

Today is Wednesday February 22, 2023, This Is What Happen

Been showing my trip to Campbell house and M.A.C., and their home is beautiful, but like all of us, we have two sides to the coin.

I wonder about people who post on their blog their life is perfect. I understand Helen kept diaries like many people of the Victorian and Edwardian Eras. There is a copy of her diary, and I would like to read it.

There is a dark side to how the Campbell family makes their wealth. Plain simply, they took ADVANTAGE of their workers. Paid them like .50¢ a day, and I would guess a day was more than eight hours of labor.

The Campbell lived in Wallace. But it says they moved to Spokane for their daughter to bring up in the culture. But I question it! If part of the reason, safety could be part of it.

As I said, the main reason I would leave this area for the search for culture.

I heard it cost $30,000 to build the Campbell home at the turn of the last century. But how do they treat their staff? They lived up on the third floor. A narrow stairwell, and they don't let visitors up there. For fire reasons. I can understand that. But I thought it would be a great fundraiser. Let's sell 150 lottery tickets to the servant living area. For a 10 or 15-minute tour. A limited of three people at a time. If the owners of these places go nasty with their servants, they could taint the food a bit.

My son Bart really like the ideal of building in cabinet in Sewing room. My granddaughter Claudia and Wendy. Thought that the Helen was still there. She in painting. Helen was born about the same time as my grandma Olive was. Helen son serviced in world war II, as my grandmother sons did. Other words my uncles.

I canceled today's crafter thing at Pearl to cold. I woke up at six this morning at 8 (-13), But Murphy and I went to the senior center. The lunch was a nice bowl of chili.

I complete another item on my bucket list. To get rid of 10 items and the items went to a community thrift. Didn't go into the thrift store. But gas in pick-up, regular, is $3.39 a gallon.

Editor Note...These miners were paid fifty cent to dollar less than most miners, in area. Plus at time mines were paying out well to the stock holder.

Today Is Sunday February 19 2023, This Is What Happen.

The mask exhibit is the main reason I went to the MAC. I've had and still do. I'm Interested in masks and their culture. On my bucket list, I would make a mask. I made one in first grade out of paper mache. So making a mask is number 49 on my bucket list.

I also add three more things to my bucket list.

Go to a musical, and I would need to go down to Coeur D Alene, Idaho, or Spokane. First, I would like to know if my granddaughters in Spokane will see Aladdin. Then, I would like to see the musical Pride and Prejudice. It looks like it is coming to Coeur'd Alene.

Go to a drag show. Confession time...I have been fascinated by drag fashion, not necessarily cross-dressing. Still trying to decide which month, but Sandpoint has a drag queen show. I'm sure it is in the summer months.

I've mentioned this before. Is to visit HEYBURN STATE PARK. Two of my Uncle were part of the CCC program.

I'm working on visiting three places in the five Northern Counties of North Idaho.

Then on Sunday, I review three random comments from the past week. Let's start with BACK ROAD TRAVELER and his commentary on Friday the 17th...Red twig dogwood sure pops in winter...Yes, it does, and looks great in a flower arrangement.

Now for my second person who comment, BASTELMANIA...Wonderful Photos...Thank You. Hope to get get more photos. One of my bucket lists is to take a photo daily. I have been posting them on my INSTAGRAM PAGE.

Now for the last comment, I will be using SHE WHO SEEKS...Your brave to let A.I am writing a blog post for February 28...I don't know about brave, maybe stupid. At this point, it reminds me of people in literature. Who should have read the required books and used sparks or cliff notes? It could be a way to fake your way through a conversation.

Now let's pop over to a different blog that I have yet to stop by, not on a regular base. I'm going to say "Hi" over at THIS AND THAT, and I found this blog through BOHEMIAN VALHALLA.

Both of my clients have appointments in Sandpoint this week. One on Tuesday and the other one on Thursday.

Thursday morning, I have an appointment with our local library with our tech people. To see why my Overdrive/Libby app isn't doing its thing.

I'm planning not to blog this coming Thursday or Friday. There is more to life than blogging. But I do enjoy it.

I recall watching The Deer Hunter in high school. Although I have never ever seen the entire thing. Well, I finally watched the whole thing. A long movie. The next one will be a documentary called SLAY THE DRAGON

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

Today Is Friday February 17 2023, This Is What Happen.

Went for a walk down at Riverside Park.

I started to worry I wouldn't get in my walk today. It was pretty windy down at the park. It was quiet. Saw another car come in, although they parked on the other end.

Still working on my bucket list and adding three countries I would like to visit. Mongolia, Scotland, and Singapore.

Yes, there are more countries I would like to see.

Actually, I'm looking at quite a few places within a 100 miles radius of my home. One place I listed is to visit the CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE.

Stop at the Second Chance thrift store, still trying to find a carry-on suitcase with wheels. I got a graphic novel and blank cards. No luck with the suitcase search. The one they had was much too big. The Second Chance is an animal shelter.

I ran into my friend Lolita in the Super-One parking lot, and she gave me a bag of clothes. She has good taste in clothes, so that I will go through them over the weekend. What I don't like or fit. I will take it to the thrift store. Usually, I take my stuff to the Second chance thrift store.

I grab two newspapers, the SANDPOINT READER and INLANDER. I don't see myself reading the entire paper. But, whatever I read, I will be happy.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

Today Is Sunday, August 2, 2026: This Is What Happened

I thought I would never say. “I'm sick of T.V dinner” Growing up if I had a T.V dinner it was a treat. I think the only brand back ...
