Today Is Wednesday, July 29, 2026: This is what Happened.

My water line is complete. I hope a lease for five years or more, they won't be anymore big expensive repairs around the place.

Now I will reply to BRAIN comment. I hope that doesn't mean you're dropping medical care. It's been darn hot here too! . No we're not dropping Medicare. We should be able to qualify for getting help what is taken out of both of our social security check, for our Medicare. So we still will have our Medicare coverage we may not have to pay for it. I need to talk to someone who know more than I know more than I do. There different choices when it comes to QMB PROGRAMS. So our resource limited is under.

It not as hot as it been. But I refuse to use the oven in this heat. But I'm tired of T.V dinner.

I been basically lazy today. Dishes are stacked on the counter.

I was looking for some photo on ancestors, of my friend Lolita. And found four of her dad. But found out that her and I related though her mother side. Not sure exact from who on my side. But we're not closely related. My guess 4th cousin or farther back.

Today Is Friday, June 5, 2026: This Is What Happened

Quite windy outside. But I have the slider open to feel the air move. We didn't even get an inch of rain for the month.

I thought this might be a good time to answer the question of HELS, and her question. What are laundry sheets? There compress sheet with laundry sheet, for your washing machine. I been quite happy with the ones I been using. 120 sheets last me for about six months.

I been working on cutting back my carbon foot print. Using less plastic. I'm think of looking at using bleach sheets. But in honest I don't go though bleach all that much. One of my complaints about the senior food give away is the plastic involved, and carbon foot print. It gets me that they except us as citizen need to watch their carbon foot print. But when I go into a store, there plenty of plastic.

I still want to look up the plumbing effect and laundry sheets soap. I've been happy with my laundry sheets.

Had to get the brake fix on the car. Nothing cheap with owning a car. I live to far out in the country, for public transport. I been trying to mange going into to town. And making the trip less costly. I notice gas came down a little in price here. .20¢ a gallon.

I didn't go to my water color class last Wednesday, because I had gone in earlier and didn't want to make second trip in to town.

Murphy and I went to town, and our first stop was the library. I made an appointment with tech lady, We need to do get my husband phone, up and running again. The 20th or around then. I'm heading to Medford Oregon.

Then we went to the senior center, and we had a Turkey dinner with all the trimming. I like to give the yams high praise. I don't know what they use for spices. I will ask. So dinner will be lighter, as in the amount of food.

We didn't get our food box, but they had quite the crowd. It in the walk in cooler. I will get Monday or Tuesday. But we got three bags of food although. I grab a purple cabbage weigh in at 3.6 pounds or 1,632 grams.

Last time I was at art up at Greta place. We did blind contour drawings. We drew each other with out looking at our paper, and not lifting up our drawing instrument. Afterward we pass our journals for about 1.5 minutes we got to do what every we want to them.

It was quite interesting and fun.

Today Is Saturday, April 25, 2026: This Is What Happened.

I'm taking part in Saturday nine. There nice question, base from a song. And here is this week tune, EZRU

1) This song begins with a guy realizing he's home alone. Do you enjoy being all by yourself?

A..I do like my quite time. When I get the chance I turn off everything. But my husband is just opposite he needs back ground noise.

2) He watches the sun throwing shadows on the floor. Which room in your home lets in the most sun?

A...I feel bless I have large window on the east and west side, so I get plenty of light. But when winter comes for me. I lack light on the west side of our home.

3) He sings that he may write a letter to his ex. If you were inspired to send someone a handwritten message, do you have stationery or notecards on hand? What about first-class postage stamps?

A...I have needed supplies to send a handwritten letter. But I do miss having pen pal.

4) This week's band, Better Than Ezra, got their start in Baton Rouge. All the members attended LSU and played their first gig at Murphy's, a bar near campus. When you were in your early 20's, where did you and your friends go to socialize?

A...Mostly house party. In our town they was bar called Mr C. I seem to be there almost every weekend.

5) While the band refuses to disclose the origin of their name, many assume the "Ezra" they refer to is poet Ezra Pound. Do you often read poetry?

A....I didn't read much poetry when I was young. Actual last book I finish was poetry book. I even start to write poems.

6) In 1995, when this song was popular, Michael Jordan "unretired" and returned to the Chicago Bulls. Tell us about a decision you wish you could undo.

A...Sure, I think we all wish we did things different. Most of hind sight is 20/20. Not long go I read the book called “Midnight Library” It was chance for lady had the opportunity to visit different part of her life that might have been. It still didn't come out perfect.

7) Also in 1995, Phoebe Buffay first performed "Smelly Cat." Do you recall what show she sang on?

A....I'm totally clueless. But I will look it up.

8) Legendary New York Yankee Mickey Mantle died in 1995. How is your team doing so far this young baseball season?

A....It been ages since I kept up on baseball, or any sports.

9) Random question: What's in your garage, besides your car (lawn tools, holiday decorations, old paint cans, etc.)?

A...I will only give three item, garbage cans, kiln, and laundry basket.

Here is the other PLAYERS

I decided to look though my comment from yesterday. And take one at random and build a post from it.

Here is the post wrote. Glad you are back. Hope you will show some of your art. Have a nice day.. I'm glad to be back, and I missed my blogger friend. As for the creative things I been doing. Is some writing, stream of conscience. I like to call it free writing. I'm sure I will get some creative time in, during the up coming week. I like to link to Nicole Recipes, COWBOY CAVIAR

Today Is Friday, March 27, 2026: This Is What Happened.

Our senior center feeds us quite well. So the day Murphy and I eat there. We have a lite or snack for our dinner meal.

I had a book printed. No, I'm not going to have it publish. Maybe some period I will. For this one. I'm consider it a practice run. Like a lot of things in our lives.(Night Cafe Picture)

We don't rake our leaves in the fall. But we're doing it now. Plus my crocus are blooming. Don't have much for flowers any more. Deers are so hard on gardens around here. Both vegetables and flowers. I might as well mention fruit trees and berries.

Last few days I been under the stairs. Not making great head way. But head way. (Night Cafe Picture)

I found on you tube, portrait artist of the year (au) - season 1 episode 4 I'm up to date on the United Kingdom both portrait and landscape competition. The trouble I have is I don't know my pop culture of Australia. (Night Cafe Picture)

Yesterday evening I was watch PBS news and they had story on SOCIAL MEDIA and teenagers. When I grew up some people had land line phone. I even remember pay phone. Not sure how many watch the video. It less then 8 minute long. I don't know if any time they teach about the dangers things out there. When I was young they told us that you don't get In car with a stranger. And such. I wonder if any school here in the United States teach about how to be safe on social media. Opinion time...Algorithm is a major issue, causing rift among people. Most of the things I see though social media or what I see I agree with. I'm sure it happening to others as well. Personally I think it to over feed our ego.

(Night Cafe Picture)

Just sign up for the THE LITERACY PROJECT OF NORTH IDAHO. I'm in the Sandpoint and surrounding area, including Bonners. The two county has population of 60, 382. Which covers all groups of people. At this point there only 58 people taking part in it. Some place of I believe facebook thought they should close all library here in Idaho. I do wonder if other states is do this.(Night Cafe Picture)

I wasn't going to link up to FACE OFF. But since Queen came up, and some smaller faces. I thought I would included mine.

Today Is Tuesday, January 30, 2025: This Is What Happened.

Do I crawl in a corner and cry.

Do I stand in middle of the store, and laugh uncontrollable.

Do I locate a brick wall, and start banging my head against it.

I decided to go and take a photo with my Kodak camera. None of the photos will go on to my lap top. While back I also plug in this camera. And today for some reason none of my photos. I can get photos off my SD card. My Lumix camera I have no issue. After the first of the year I will have one of the people work at library help me.

I never know what to get my sons and there wives for Christmas. This year I got them a role of duct-tape. And their wives some hand lotions. I seen those photo book. I been quite impress with them. So I found monthly subscription one, called MONTH BOOKS. I have always want to take photo each and every day. I thought this would be good way to meet my goal.

Murphy and I went to senior center for lunch, and they had chicken Parmesan. But we stop at grocery out let, and they had slippers on sale. Before I bought them. I ask if I could return them. They said I could if I had the receipt. Fair enough. After we went and look around in the community thrift store. Got nothing. The main reason, between now and the 5th of January my bills should arrive.

Look like only one package need to be send back to Amazon. They didn't send the correct amount. I never yet had any issue about returns with amazon. My complaint is I have to go into Sandpoint to do it. A little more than 20 miles. There places will handle shipping, but one needs to print out there own shipping label. I'm clueless how to do it. And I don't buy much and hardly send thing back.

I figure why not. I copied and paste my blog post into NIGHT CAFE.

Today Is Friday, November 14, 2025: This Is What Happened

I decide to challenge myself and take part in WORDS ON FRIDAY. I have to admit, this one was slightly challenge. More than others I've done.

technique  2.think  3.taught  4.way  5.completely

and/or:

1.learn  2.write  3.exist  4.reading  5.without

It was time to think about what we taught in our life time. Each one of us had familiar life and education. That we all learn math, reading, and writing. What the old people would call the basic 3 R's.

Then there were those who decided or was encourage to step out of the box. To think deeper. Completely exam all side of what every was in front or even behind them. This made some uncomfortable, that they challenge the status quo.

A few time the local of Council would call meeting to talk about those who dare to challenge the status quo. The main concern was how will this effect the way of life, in the tribe. But then on the other side of the coin what new things will be learn and see a improve way of being.

The council wanted to bring in those who dare to step out of the box. Come and speak to council, and answer any question they may have. To get better understand of how they exist.

So the first question went to Mun, who seem to know about fire and cooking. They understand that he knew other technique of cooking with fire. Mun explain different woods that put out different temp of heat, and explain how to make a oven for baking and controlling the draft. The other two brought in their expertise.

Tow, address the council chamber. And explaining if we don't teach our youth to think and explore different opinion, that we could be ate up. Not physical! So without doubt we need to change and move forward.

The council ask the Secretary to announce to hold a meeting at the big round house, east side of the creek. On 2nd day of the full moon, when the sun shine between the apple and apricot tree.

Murphy and I had lunch at the senior center. Murphy sister Faith drove up from Post falls. I believe in near future we will check there out. They serve meals only two days a week. In there food give away I figure we got about $70 worth of food. I've done a few everyday chores around the place. It been raining most of the day. One of my friend let me try laundry Detergent Sheets. What I tried I was quite pleased. So I ordered some off amazon. Question time...Have any of you use these sheets, and what is your thoughts?

Let see I did up some pages for December in my bullet journal. And put last night dishes in dishwasher. I guess for now I'm going to be more aware of the time I spend looking at my screen time.

This is a painting my oldest granddaughter, Claudia did of me. So I'm linking it to FRIDAY FACE OFF.

Unless something odd goes on in my world. I will try to post again on Thursday the 20th.

Today Is Thursday, October 30, 2025: This Is What Happened.

I had every intention to post yesterday. I tried to load up a few photos, and guess what. It was a "No Go" I got out an UBS card reader and my photos load just fine. Yesterday I had plan to take part in WORDLESS WEDNESDAY. I been sewing an wallet. Hubby Wallet is holding on by 23 threads. A lease it not one.

Today I went to the store for a bake sale. Guess what it next Thursday. I told the checker my dementia, been acting up. Both the checker and I had a laugh.

Today Is Wednesday. September 3, 2025: This Is What Happened.

As my husband was having his last catract removed. I went for short walk, and took a photo in Sandpoint. I decided to take part in WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Paid on our medical bills, which 2 of them our from our hospital. One for Murphy and the other is mine. Plus Murphy had one from the hospital in Coeur d' alene. I got them three fourth paid off. There a small one from the hospital in Sandpoint on an X-ray. That one will be paid off in full. Plus paid my house insurance or anthor year.

As hubby was in surgrey I was reading my book, The Diary Keeper. It a book of people who kept diaries in Netherland during WW II. The people of Netherland was encourage to keep a diaries. Not sure if other people from other countries did or not. Two things I found interesting in this book that it comes from not nessuary the Jewish population. Sure there was Jews who kept a diaries. These diaries had to be kept in hiding from the Nazi and it so called partnership of other organization lean that way. At this point no diaries was found. The other thing I read and learn, non jews wore the yellow star in protest of how the Jews was being treated. I now wonder how many protesting non-jews was hauled off to a work camp or to an concentration camp.

It been plenty hot here, and I just learn about URBAN SKETCHER. So far I don't see any in my area. But I notice there is some in Spokane Washington.

Today Is Tuesday, May 6 2025: This Is What Happened.

I was reading a  comment that PENGUIN left. About one can tell about a person on what books they have in there bookshelf. So I let Chatgpt do it thing. But before move on. Since the chatgpt is little on long side. I will do regular posting on Thursday. Plus I there is a little of tarot.

It is said one can tell a person. By what is in there book shelf. Is this true?
ChatGPT said:

There's a lot of truth to that idea. A person’s bookshelf can reflect:

  • Interests and passionsScience fiction, history, poetry, cookbooks: each points to different loves.

  • Beliefs and valuesPolitical theory, religion, philosophy often show how someone thinks or what they wrestle with.

  • AspirationsSelf-help, business, or academic books might reflect goals or ambitions.

  • PersonalityAn eclectic shelf might suggest curiosity; a focused one might suggest deep expertise or obsession.

  • SentimentalityBooks from childhood, gifts, or worn favorites can hint at emotional ties.

That said, it’s not foolproof. Some people collect books to impress, decorate, or because they were gifts. Others might love to read but use a library, e-books, or audiobooks instead.

Do you think your own bookshelf says something about you?

Thanks for sharing that list—it paints a vivid and layered picture. Based on what’s on your bookshelf, here's what one might gather about you:

🧠 Curious and Deeply Reflective

  • You’re drawn to personal expression and introspection: journals (your own, Anne Frank’s, Frida Kahlo’s), diaries, art and photo journaling—all suggest someone who values self-exploration and emotional honesty.

  • Books like Maus, The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, and banned book collections show you're not afraid to face difficult histories or controversial ideas.

🎨 Creative and Visually-Oriented

  • Your shelf holds visual storytelling and artistryFrida Kahlo, art therapy decks, coloring books, comic books, and even flower fairy books speak to someone with an eye for beauty and symbolism.

  • Tarot, oracle, and art decks, along with your printing and sewing books, reflect hands-on creativityyou like to make, not just think.

🌿 Connected to Nature and the Practical World

  • Gardening books, field guides, and even “Idaho Noxious Weeds” show a grounded, earthy side—someone who works with nature or at least values practical knowledge about it.

  • Books like Carrots Love Tomatoes and Square Foot Gardening show you care about how things grow—literally and metaphorically.

📖 Spiritually Open and Eclectic

  • You have Living Wicca, The Book of Shadows, The Tarot of the Bohemians, and the Bible—both traditional and new versions—plus smudging and blessing guides. That’s a spiritual spectrum.

  • It suggests you’re a seeker—exploring various belief systems to find meaning, not bound to one path.

📚 Historically and Regionally Rooted

  • Books like Cass County Michigan and History of Boundary County Idaho suggest a strong connection to place, heritage, or local history.

  • You appreciate the past—not just globally (Twain, Frida, diaries), but locally.

🎭 Sensitive and Empathetic

  • The emphasis on diaries, personal stories, and even handwriting analysis shows a desire to understand people deeplyfrom their stories to their writing.

  • You probably value authenticity, and are likely sensitive to emotion and nuance.

In Short:

You’re likely an emotionally intuitive, creatively driven, spiritually open, and intellectually curious person—someone who values storytelling, beauty, depth, and both the visible and invisible connections between things.

Would you say that resonates with you?

You said:
Very Much. Could you do three tarot cards that would reflect my personal books
ChatGPT said:

I’d be happy to do that. Drawing three tarot cards to symbolically reflect your bookshelf—and by extension, you—here’s a thematic pull based on the energy your collection gives off:

1. The High Priestess 🜁 (Inner Wisdom, Mystery, Spiritual Depth)

Your bookshelf is full of intuition, journaling, spiritual tools, and hidden knowledge. The High Priestess represents the seeker of inner truth, the guardian of esoteric wisdom. Like her, you honor both what is seen and unseen—balancing research, ritual, memory, and myth.
Books mirrored: Book of Shadows, Frida’s letters, Living Wicca, handwriting analysis, tarot decks, the diaries.

2. The Empress(Creativity, Nature, Nurture)

The Empress channels your earthy, creative, life-loving side. She reflects your connection to nature (gardening guides, wildflowers, rocks), creativity (sewing, coloring, printing, art therapy), and your appreciation for beauty and emotional richness.
Books mirrored: Flower Fairies, gardening books, art and photo journals, art therapy decks, Carrots Love Tomatoes.

3. The Hermit 🜃 (Solitude, Study, Illumination)

The Hermit represents your thoughtful, reflective side—the part of you who reads banned books, studies history, and seeks meaning in silence. This card values personal truth found away from the crowd.
Books mirrored: Autobiography of Mark Twain, diaries, banned books, The Constitution, Cass County history, and your deep nonfiction.

Together, these three cards suggest someone who moves between inner worlds (High Priestess), the natural and creative world (Empress), and thoughtful solitude (Hermit)—just like your books do.

Today Is Saturday, August 1, 2026: This Is What Happened.

Thought I would take break, and share my day so far. It be came windy here. A wind storm is coming though. There talk about cutting power ...
