Question time…Does anyone know how to make a button link?

In September soon after labor day I’ll be posting my Mabon scavenger hunt.
I like to do a better link and those who want to add it their side bar can. I’m thinking something to do with apples

Well now I need to get something off my chest. Sense I live in the state of Idaho and our senator Larry Craig is making all kind of national head lines.
Statement…I’m not a big Craig supporter and my political believe leans to the left

Living in a small community everyone here has dial up for there computer, no cable or dsl out here.
Watching a wal-mart commercial about buying school clothes and keep using different phase like “cool” and “with it” yes I remember those terms and my boys using “awsome’ but I don’t recall this one “jiggie” Please someone up date me on pop slang. I most slept though that one.
I remember when gay was also using for other terms other then for a homosexual term.
And when I was a camp fire girl the term fag meant a measurement of kindling (firewood) or even a cigarette. Now it use for a male homosexual.
Couple of other terms can be criss cross with each other.
1. Pray and Magic
2. Book of Shadows and Knowledge
3. Routine and Ritual
4. Farmer Market and Hippy Fest (That what one of our Nephew call a farmer market)

But one other thing I didn’t know that tapping your foot was a way for other homosexual to pick each other up and I heard Larry Craig was doing this and if I saw this I would of thought someone keeping time to the music (mostly if there music playing in the back ground) or some one being impatiens

I’m still having a period and I’m going though what they call Perimenopause and I’ve had my period since August 13 and what a pain. Not physical but I’m passing blood clots and I sometime I’ll leak though everything. One word I’ll use to explain this is “Gross”.
So for 10 days the doctor put me on medroxypr for 10 days and hopes to somewhat regulate my periods.
I was trying to find a link to the medicine but I couldn’t it is a hormone base.
I been having leg cramps off an on. The doctors tells me sometime not having enough water will cause them and also taking cholesterol lower medicines will too.
I been doing my walk during the week and this week I walk a total of 1.75 miles but last week I got in 2.75 down a mile.
All in all I’ve walked 4.5 miles. I’m trying to make 100 miles by the first day of fall. I got 95.5 miles to go.
This morning I took Daisy for a walk up on top of pleasant valley loop, which I only do one day a week and each time I increase that area by one power line pole. As usual 2 puppies and 1 old dog went to greet her and she ran home “ licitly spilt “ across the field.

Not To Overwhelm You

I thought I would share a little bit of fame or I should say past fame. I’m descent of Belle Starr.
My great grand dad Charles Shirley and Belle Starr was first cousin. To the best of my knowledge her and I would be 4th cousin once remove.
There a lot of unanswer question about the Shirley family. My great grand dad we know was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
And I was told that he didn’t get a long with his dad and used the Shirley name after some old maid aunt of his.
I understand that his father last name is something like Conklin. I got a copy of his death certificate he died of appendix attack and listed his last name as Shirley.
I tried to find a birth record of him and no luck.

As always there tons of great info though blogger world. But I’m not sold on everything I read or hear of. But there is a few item I like to share with you.

I moved and organize what I could physical move. There is a slider door and pipe, which I couldn’t move. Once those are taken care of. With a little help the wire can be taken care of also.

We real haven’t made up our mind what color to do the garage/barn yet. Our home is dark green w/brown trim and we have a barn/shop red w/white trim.

Murphy came in to the house and said “You need to see how big the moon is” and at that time I step out on the side porch and looked at it.
Went inside to get a picture of it just finish coming over the south end of Black Mountain.
I need to get a tri pod to go with my camera, as always we need a lot of things.
I heard the lunar eclipse was pretty outstanding it was about 2 this morning and I was in bed around 8:30 last night and sleep like a log.
As Murphy and I start our day at 4:30 in morning as the moon was heading over the Selkirk Mountains I say the tail end of the eclipse.

Things Are Starting To Come Around

First thing is first Sharon of rocks in my dryer is hosting anther drawing and this time it is Eliza Grace Design I haven’t had much of a chance to look at all the great items at this store yet

We add anther member of our family “Buddy” He Border Collie and something crossed. Daisy and he plays and plays. Plus he loves to fetch tennis balls

My Aunt Penny gave me some transparent Apples and I made


some applesauce. I ended up freezing 8 quarts

Plus we got my pump working on my pour table and now I can start pouring more greenware.
I’m planning to clean a few piece as I watch Passion the soap opera

I know one shouldn’t judge a book by the cover for some reason I did and 5 minute with mom is giving away a book called The Other Mother

Job Application What B.S

Stupid does as stupid does. I’ve been filling out a job application to get hired on with a new home care out place.
The pay is above everyone else and I heard this lady who I’d be working for is a real sweet heart.
But the application is quite extent with some real stupid question. If anyone who every did this stuff surly wouldn’t admit it.
1. Do you have any warrant for your arrest? Honest time…I sure felt like giving them a smart ass answer Like Hell Yes I’m want for picking daisy in front of our local court house.
2. Have you every been arrested for alcohol? Honest time…I sure felt like giving this answer last week I was pick up for M.I.P (Minor in position) I would like to know if they would catch it. I can’t get in to trouble for a M.I.P because I’m well over 21.
So I fill out a 16-page application plus I need to take the finger print card down to the jail and get my fingerprints done.
They want any of my old employers I.D number. Wondering if I worked for a honorable places. I guess I have if you consider exploiting your works.
I was reading though the membership agreement I can be fired for moral turpitude. I’m not even sure what one is. I’ll look it up. I feel like the time my cousin who is JW called me a pagan.

Yesterday I was stuck on what to post in my blog yesterday and I decided to do two quiz which I just randomly picked.
To me these multi choice quizzes never have the right answer for me or they should have one that says “none of above”
But I find them cheap entertainment

Well a short while ago I briefly mention that I was having trouble with my periods well I went to the doctor and she came to conclusion I may be starting pre- menopause. I haven’t had a period for couple of months and she said might have my period may be unregular as I get ready for menopause.
What happen now is that my uterus has built up the regular blood lining and it decided to let go
For now their going to let go nature take it course for a short while more. If bleeding hasn’t quite by Tuesday they may put me on ester gent.

Well my friend Alice takes care of lady in senior complex on oak street and anther lady there is looking for a temporary worker for about two to three weeks.
But who know what it will work into.
So I went to Sandpoint with Alice to pick up an application to fill out.
But here the kicker is that something happened to her caregiver she had before and she had asked Alice if she want it. At this time Alice doesn’t have the time now to add any more hours.
But it real up to this new client but I told Alice for some reason if this client want her I wouldn’t have no hard feelings.

Now for news I walk two and three-fourth mile this week. Plus I was 5 pounds lighter on the doctor scale

Bumps In One Life

Sense I tried to reopen my ceramic business it seem to be one thing after anther.

First my pour table is down and we had to tear out the pump motor and had to find anther one. My Son Sawyer got one for free. I can’t complain about that plus that’s great price “free”
But here the kicker

The bracket to the pump motor doesn’t fit.
Sawyer said he could make me anther one but he been busy fighting forest fires. He will have a couple days off starting tomorrow but I Feeling time…guilty asking him Because he worked 14 days straight and he usual puts in a 10 hours more a day.
Plus I know he needs to get things line up for college, which start the 27th of this month.

So Sunday I decide to try to fire some greenware and my small kiln. On greenware it takes about 4 to 8 hours as your turning the kiln to high and it went well pass that.
Because I forgot to

Close the vent once I turn on the kiln to high.
So I will need to refire the greenware which was to be fired in the small kiln and I’m sort of eating the cost of firing the greenware.
What I’ll do is put this misfired greenware in the larger kiln and refire it with some more greenware.
So it comes right down to the space that I have to refire the boo boo greenware and I could of fired new greenware in that space.

Today my friend Quenelle went to buy a few things for her catered wedding business. And I went window-shopping with her. Our first stop was the post office and the bank not much excitement there

Our first stop was

The Shamrock gift shop.
I remember it when it was Mr. C a younger person bar and yes I did drink in there. But before my time it was a bar called the Shamrock and I’ve heard tales about it and my dad played cards in there. But he called it his “office”
I was hoping I could find a picture of the old Shamrock, as it was a bar and I went to stop in at local museum to see if they had any picture of it but they were closed

The Shamrock offers of neat things

Wind chimes and outdoor plaques to be place by your dwelling. I real like the out door copper look. All these wind chimes should call in friendly spirits.

Then sitting on shelves is some appealing dolls and on the lower part of the shelves looks like some type of building toys for your kids to have tons of fun with.

This is more my style what I like in my home

The country look. I’m not into cups and saucer. I like my coffee from a mug. To me to many dainty items makes me feel like a bull in china store

Boundary County Fair

The last half of the week has been the Boundary County Fair. We have some talent people in our little community.
Opinion time…It just displease me when they get to many political and religious both at the fair To me a fair is to mainly show off the talents of the local people and have community games such as pie eating contest, softball throwing, nail driving contest, and etc.

flowers are the prettiest. I know I like the smell of flocks but there one thing yet I haven’t got to grow.
I haven’t tried growing sun flowers either and want to put them below our bed room window and see if they real do anything for fertility …hehehe…I had my tube tied shortly after Bart was born and I think I’m heading toward menopause

We have quite a few great artists in our town that uses all sorts of mediums in there painting.

This painting of the Apples would look good in my kitchen. As far as I’m concern it ought to got a blue ribbon (1st place) instead of red ribbon (2nd place)

This is Cora Bell isn’t she adorable.

One thing I get at the fair is either a elephant ear or funnel cakes.
Honest time…I actual prefer the funnel cakes to the elephant ears.

So I bought this elephant ear thinking that know one was doing funnel cake at the fair this year and just a couple of both down someone was actual making funnel cakes.
But the elephant ears was sure good anyhow.

Our local fair is going on and I went into the goat and alpaca barn to hope they had some twin kids (baby goats) but none this year.
But I notice a mommy Alpaca and baby

Thursday morning I went and had some blood drawing about a month ago my potassium was out of whack and I took potassium for a month and now it in the normal range.
But sense they had a needle in my arm. I though it was due time to have my cholesterol checked and the bad cholesterol was a little high at 139. So there going to take something for it don’t recall what but soon as I pick up the subscription I’ll let you all know.
Part of my high blood pressure and cholesterol is my diet and not enough exercise. Confession time…I could use more exercise then anything else

Sense I rearranged my coffee pals. At this time I have 29 coffee pals that I read and I let Google Random number picked who would be feature in my friendly Friday and the lucky blogger is pagan on ridge if you notice she has four parts to her blog but I’m going to focus on Witch of wild wood her blog to me is explore her spiritual life living on the planted earth with all the positive and negative which we all feel even if we don’t want to admit it..
Witch of Wildwood has 25 blogger pals listed on her side bar and it looks like I’m going to use Google Random number and it look like I’ll be checking out Dragon fly 183 I’m not sure I understand everything that goes around in this ole world we all share. But Dragonfly of Witch on White Mountain has some interesting stuff.
I know I need to cut down on the carbon I put in the environment I have no reason to grip about others until I cut back on mine. No one is going to stop a 100% but if I cut back a diminutive bit

Last night I cooked one of Autumns Meadow Etli Ispinak or Turkish Spinach
1 1/3 lbs. lean ground beef
2/3 stick of butter (5 1/2 to 6 tbsp)
1 cup onion, diced
4 10 oz. boxes frozen chopped spinach
or 40 oz. fresh spinach
28 oz. can Progresso Crushed Tomato with added puree
1 rounded tsp. salt
1 cup water
1/2 cup rice rinsed in 1/4 cup water

1. brown meat in a large pot in it's own fat, drain fat
2. Remove meat
3. In the same pot, melt butter
4. Lightly brown onion
5. Add cooked meat, spinach (defrosted works faster), tomatoes, puree, salt, water, and rice
6. Cover and simmer for one hour, stirring every 5 minutes so it doesn't stick to the pot
7. Tastes better the next day, warmed. Serve with French Bread and dollop of sour cream or plain yogurt.

Confession time…I add a little bit of my own touch I add a little bit of green pepper and celery diced
One of the reason I want to try this is sometime we will add a little bit of spinach to our burgers

I been sort of trying to improve my blogging and computer skill over at the blog Olympics I did Subscribe to a new blog. This is easy enough but I have a question. What is the reason behind in subscribed to a blog?
I’m pretty well clueless what there chattering about Submit or vote for a post you like on someone else’s blog on a social networking or bookmarking site and overwrite old draft posts that you’re no longer going to use.

Drawing For Chores

This is my first Work For Me Wednesday.
Which of rocks in my dryer does.
When my boys where young and we would draw out of bowl chores to do.
They and sometime I would write out special chores that could be done around the place. Then I would set a number each person could draw for it was usual 3 each.
But majority of the time I let them draw one at time and once that chore was done they could draw for anther chore.
Make sure it age prorate chores when doing the drawing.
I even included my self in it.
Here few of the chores that could be included.
1. Pick up 5 sticks from the yard and put it in the trash
2. Sweep stairs leading into the house.
3. Wipe off door knob to laundry room
4. Wipe off top of washer machine
5. Wipe front of microwave
One thing I wouldn’t let the boys do if they got a chore they didn’t want to do I wouldn’t let them throw that chore back in and draw something they prefer doing.
They had fun drawing and got the chore done so they could draw anther one. When they help write out chores it made them think “what can be done around the place” ,everyone living in home is responsible in taking care of it and also it teaches them sometime in life things needs to be done and it might not always be fun
