Something Trying To Trip Me Up

During the change of the season I put on a scavenger hunt and Turtle Heart just received her package form Peggy .
I’m planning to do a scavenger hunt for Mabon but I won’t have anything posted about it until September and after Labor day.
Ok I’ll let a little out of the bag one thing need to be found is “Tea”

The full moon is up so late and in morning it shinning in the southwestern sky. Yesterday I drove my youngest son Bart to work he starts at 5AM.
As going though the winding roads and watching the moon so called pop up and out of trees and behind the mountain. I wish I had my camera to take a picture a least the moon as it was going behind the mountain.
But also on the drive over to Clifty View Nursery and I was driving fairly slow to see if I could see and wild creature and as we was passing a pond I was looking for something out on the pond. Then Bart said “Step on it old lady or I’m going to be late” I never looked at my self being old but to him anyone over 21 is and old fart

I never know what the enchantment of hubby have when they stay home from work. Murphy back was bothering him.
I was about to take Bart to work this morning. I was to waken Murphy and he said he didn’t feel good. With a man never know what this entails.
I don’t know when Husband is home I don’t get as much as I need to or want to. But it seems like they’re getting in way even if they’re playing on the computer or sitting on couch.
Some reason I think they put on a hex on you to make home making harder and even my hubby does help around the home.
I did get the dishes done, laundry, clean the silverware drawer and clean off the old kiln wash to my smaller kiln. But I had a few other smaller task to be completed

Reading blogs

I’ve talk or I should say why I blog in the past but today I wish to tell why I read the bloggs I do.
The way I decided to blog about “reading blog” is this morning my friend Alice and I went for a walk and one of her sons came with us.
And her brother will basically only talk or have anything to do with people who is exactly like him.
I find so many different blogs that aren’t even on the same page of thinking of what I am. I read blogs of different area all over the world and now I have a desire to see more of the world even if it real never happens. But a least though the blogger world I got an opportunity to learn more about geography.
I learn a little bit of theology and philosophy.
I learn about events going around the blog world it may be someone kid event to world political events.
I learn sometime I pretty lucky and other times I’m not so lucky in life. Confession time…I think if there was no bumps in life I wouldn’t be able to handle it.
Now there always-great events that one may partake in like give aways and swaps.
But there is one very important thing that the blogs I read that they blog from the human spirit and that’s the one I become a better person in all different ways

Like To Share More....But...

Like most people I try to be frugal and fair. Recently I found these free or company wants to try there product

Folgers Gourmet Selections. Get A Free Sample

I don’t know how often or how easy these product which is being offer though
Wal-mart freebies

When I was young I remember two commercials real got my attention when I was young and if they played a roll in my life. I don’t know. One was the advertisement for “Aviance”
But I notice there a free offer for
Calgon I remember my mom making wise cracks about just soaking in the tub and as so called “Roman Burned”.

I should actual check out Lee Seat Freebies his web page is a great guide for all sort of neat free things

On my comments from my Saturday post if Sharon of Rocks in my dryer did this on a weekly thing.
I don’t think so it a lot of work. She seams to be a very busy lady and has quite the blog.
At this time she at blogher conferences and hopeful shortly she may blog on “dog days of summer”

When I was young I grew up who mom was frugal and I thought sometime right down to tight wad.
One thing she did was taking left over cooked beef from a roast or steak and some left over potatoes. And grind this up and fry it.
Then you could add gravy, fried eggs, or even ketchup to it.
One thing she put in it was a little bit of onion, which I never got a chance to put in it.
My flavor was ok but one thing her had this nice crunch crust like from the hash browns. Murphy suggest adding an basic egg mixture to it any ideal how I would put a crust like finish on it

My Package Will Be Going To The Lone Star State

Most Saturday I do the Photo Hunt but this time I’m not but will explain later in this posting.
(trumpets blowing) Here he here he “has picked the winner for Dog Days of Summer give away it is Stitchblade

But things have gotten behind here. Now I’m going to lay the truth out on the table.
I spent to much time trying to win something over at Dog Days of Summer Give away and like always I say I’m going to remember that blog so I’ll come back later and see it again at anther time and I forget which blog it is.
It would be great ideal to put those blogs I want to check out again in file.
I don’t think I was too greedy but I’m only second guessing my self and someone else my have different out look on it.
There was over 500 bloggers who gave away variety of “far out” items. Honest time…I don’t know how many bloggers I went to over last 5 days. If I went to blogger that they where giving away something I wasn’t interested in or didn’t know of anyone who could use it I didn’t put my name in the hat. I just didn’t think it was right to take someone else chance of winning something that I didn’t want for whatever reason.
During this time I did get my dishes done and once in while I would sweep and vacuum the floors. Plus do some laundry Confession time…As the washer was going I would be going thought Dogs Day Summer Give Away

Plus Daisy likes to drag things out in the yard and at nighttime we open all the windows and door and let the house air out and cool down. One thing living west of the Rocky Mountains at night it cools down. It got up to 97 and it actual drop down to 53. Well as we sleep Daisy drags things out in the yard.
I know she looks innocent but I’ve seen her pick up stuff and drag it out in the yard.

It was yesterday when I went over to the photo hunt place and to see what today theme would have been and it was “creative” and first thing I thought of going into our main street art gallery and taking some pictures of some talented people and there paintings and sculptures.
Then I just a flash of ideal that also they have a co-op artist and crafter store called the “Groove”
But all in all I need to catch up around here and get back to reality.

Cleaning Greenware

Everyone needs to break a least one piece of greenware so they will know what kind
of pressure they can apply .
honest time.. I handle my greenware ruff because greenware fresh out the mold is more fragile
“Don’t shed tears over this piece it was a miscast and wouldn’t fire out right.”

These are some of tools one may use to clean greenware. Top to buttom
A basic cleaning tool, a spooly, a scratch pad, a sander pad, a sponge, and water container.

First thing is to remove the seam from the greenware with the cleaning tool.

Spooly is not use every time you clean greenware it is use where a mold seam is that where one real can’t get there cleaning tool in.
Such place like behind ears, lid tops, inside of mug handles and etc

I use a green or teal color dish scratch pad to round off the seam line on the greenware. This is done by going across mainly where the seams are

Next is to take a sander which comes in different grains like sandpaper and with this you make small circle motions and get rid of the marks that the scratch pad leaves.
Honest time…I’m not sure how well I like this type of sanders because I’m not sure if these are washable and I know the rubber back ones are and if these aren’t they are going to be expensive to use.
If your wondering why I didn’t get the rubber backed sanders because the place I order from was out.
But who know I’ll how well these will actual work in long run.

This is the last step in cleaning greenware. Is that you take a sponge and I prefer a real sponge or a silk one.
Is you dip is in your water container and squeeze out any excess water and start to wipe the entire piece down.
This will get rid of any dust and wipe way and blunders that one may not of got

But one last thing is clean your mess and put things away

I sure got wrap up with dog days of summer give away. There was 506 bloggers giving things away and I couldn’t tell you how many I actual went to but a lot of them.
If anyone wanting to know information on who won any thing. Sharron made this link
I’ll be drawing my name at three this afternoon
Confession time…I didn’t get a lot done around the home because I spent way to much time partying.

It Should Be Easy As Falling Off a Log

If you haven’t played Dog Days of Summer give away as a person trying to win some great prizes and there is plenty to pick from.
And if you want to give something away you have till Wednesday to add yours. It would take to many words to explain what is given away but there is a great selection.
Mine is # 233

Isn’t it amazing how a simple decision sometime becomes difficult. I have been trying to take walks before it gets super hot but I want to walk in some different places.
So this morning I had to drive Bart to work but actual he drove because I had one of those toss and turn rough night of sleep. So I drank my morning cup of coffee and I kept thinking to my self “Oh that would be great place to start my walk” but I decided to park at Paradise Cemetery and walk North to Edge of fence line and where it looks like someone one time planted a tree farm

All of trash cans were pretty well full and need to be hauled to the dumpster. But I kept debating if I should wait til the weather cools off but who know when that will be. So I ran Sawyer to work and picked up his truck at the Forrest Service one of his friends drove his truck in and I left my car for them to drive when they got off work.
I thought it would be easier to just get it over with and haul the trash to the dumpster.

Smith Creek Travel

Yesterday Murphy and I went for a drive up North and then head up the Smith Creek area. This is one of our favor places to visit in North Idaho.
For some reason Union creek falls and the way the water come over the rocks it reminds me someone left the hose on.
It look like mother nature made a wishing well that you want to toss your pennies and make a wish up all most to top of mountain.
Smith Creek for some reason always intrigue Murphy and really don’t know why at all. But the smith creek canyon that is down stream and the way it flows over the granite is breath taking.
Lake Mountain, host two lakes that are Smith and Cutoff. We never been to Smith Lake but years ago Murphy and I hiked into Cutoff Lake it took about seven hours to get in and the fishing was great.
Cow Creek up in the Selkirk is one of my favorite creek and the falls going over the rocks. I love the pressure of creek rubbing on the rocks and forming new and interesting forms.
There was a major windstorm and lot of trees was down and I couldn’t get into Cow Creek to visit more falls.
Right now Sawyer when he not on the fire he been cut debris.
Murphy and I stop for a moment in some large cedar grove cedar trees. Murphy was leaning against the pick up and rubbing so it would make sounds so he could make me think there was bear near by.
Well it didn’t work but I wish I said, “No I don’t hear a bear but I see one”
On the way off the mountain we stop and looked out over the valley. The river you are looking at is Kootenia River that starts in Canada and ends back up there.
The mountain to the left is Goat Mountain, which is mainly in British Columbia and Hall Mountain, which is to the right, is Idaho.
So getting out did my spirit some good. Plus we came home with a few rocks but no huckleberries.

Moo Juice Give Away and Lesson on Casting Greenware

Never know what one may find though blog world. I was cruising though some comments left for Dog Days of Summer Bloggy give away and I saw a give away that Horizon Organic is giving away some great product and for more information you need to check out 5 Minutes for Mom horizon organic contest

I been doing all sort of phase of cast ceramics and I like to share my knowledge on how to cast ceramics.

One thing is a tool that one may use in pouring ceramic molds. A Pitcher, which holds slip clay Honest time…I do have a pump on my pour tank but my motor is not working and I have anther one to put on it but haven’t had the chance to
Timer to keep track of time ceramics should be cast at about eighth of inch thick but things like Christmas ornament would be thinner because you want them light so they won’t pull over your tree.
Containers to hold water or clay
Brush to smooth out inaccuracy. Knowledge time…all most has it own personality and there are stress point in all molds and one part of mold may want to hold on and other part may let go earlier
Rubber Specula to sometime light pry or clean molds.
Fettling knife is to trim way excess clay.
Hydrometer is to measure the specify gravity of your slip

And a air compressor to clean molds but also to pry molds apart and also to pop out greenware out of the molds

When pouring ceramics it should be at slow and steady pace. If poured to quickly it will have splatter spots on your greenware.
It is best to someone pour in slow motion of movement or you could possible end up with lumps.

When pour excess slip out of the molds it best to slow dump the mold over and lay in on it side and let it run out natural.
Then once the mold pretty well stops pouring excess slip.

One may dump it over and let it drain into the slip tank. Sometime if you think your mold haven’t drain completely one may shacked or tap on top of the mold.

Now you let the greenware set up and this will vary with weather condition. Generally I pour in the morning and the evening I pull greenware

Then once the greenware is starting to shrink from the mold then you may start to pull it from the mold

Before you pull you trim away the pour spout of the mold with a fettling knife. And the excess greenware I recycle back in

Sometime the greenware may not want to come loose from the mold and air from the air compressor may need to be applied. But also I’ve gentle tap the side of the mold with my hands.

This is a table of cast greenware. There a scarecrow that I have sitting in a mold which at this time isn’t ready to come out. And it should be ready Saturday morning to be pulled.
Then I’ll start to clean the greenware and get ready to fire it in the kiln.

My camera person Bart left and I don’t have a picture of how to clean a mold after it is cast. But don’t worry I will soon show you how to clean a mold.

Don't Fall Asleep

This morning I was checking my coffee pal Niobium who writes Solitary average She had a posting on HR2720 Opinion time…I think are food is full of unnecessary crap.
I e-mail my relatives, friends and need to give Bill Sali office a call

I been remixing clay and it's a dirty job someone got to do it. It just has been to hot here. It has been well above 90 and even in the triple digital a few times. It cooled down because a thunderstorm went though about one this morning and high should be lower 80 or upper 79 but muggy.
There was a quarter inch of rain but it so dry yesterday afternoon they had a forest fire up what they call Harvey Mountain although I don’t know much about it my son Sawyer went up an fought the fire.
So I haven’t been pouring all that much and my clay was starting to set up.
Hopeful tomorrow I’ll get a chance to do anther pour

Yesterday I was over at Peas Corner and she seems to know where all the action is going in blogosphere and over at Is having a give away party

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I’m planning to give something away but I haven’t figure it out yet

This afternoon I ran into town to deposit some money in the bank and just a short distant from the bank is one of the thrift stores.
I was just looking around and as I has about to leave. One of the clerks said “Oh you’re the giraffe lady” I collect giraffe and they had this plate so I couldn’t pass it by.
Confession time…I pay to much for it It was marked at $12 and I paid $8 for it

Let Joy Come Apon All

I haven’t made and waldroff salad for ages and celery was at .89¢ and apples haven’t changed it price for ages around here.

But I think we all have our little special way of doing waldroff salad other the nuts, celery, and apples.
I use sour cream instead of mayonnaise. For seasoning I sprinkle a little bit a cinnamon and vanilla.
But there been time I use different Varity of nuts and even use whip topping but I like the way the sour cream binds.

So I woke up at around 2 this morning and I had to go Pee and once I got back into bed. My head had these awful beliefs going though my brain it was almost like a battle in there.
So I finely got back to sleep and I when I got up I start a pot of coffee and got dressed. Sat on the steps saying with my eyes close
Mother earth and Father Sky feel me with Joy.
Eastward wind blow away what when I think or have awful thoughts. Bring in Joy.
Fire of south burns any nasty thoughts or dead I may want to apply to someone. I have no right to lower my self to that level
Water that comes in from the west washes way all un joyful elements in my life. Let me put clean joy into all.
I’m at Peace.
I Love and
The world is good

This morning I had to take Bart to work and he needed to be there by 5AM and I thought of all sort of neat place I could go for a walk.
I decide to do my usual area. Confession time…It may sound simple decision to make but I actual what a hard time deciding where to walk

But before I headed out for a walk There I was standing before my yellow and purple flower bed there what I thought was a weed so I pulled it up and when I was walking I saw anther one just like it a little farther along then that one. It was a
Goldenrod
I like a few of these but not many I think they could get out of hand fairly easy

a while a ago we had quite the wind storm and down on the fork of the road blew of one of the cotton trees and here is a picture of the stump.

I notice there was some Oregon grape growing up on a hill side.
I did a little farther in my walk.

We are vehicle short right now. Murphy got the farthest to drive so he takes his pick up.
One of Sawyer friend is boarding with us and his pick up is in the shop so Sawyer told him to use his pick up.
Bart pick is down and I drove him to work and left here at 4:30 this morning. Sawyer also needed a ride in and needed to be to work by 8:30 this morning.
So I went over to my friend Alice and see if she would be interest in going for walks in the morning.
So we are going to start Monday.
But I wonder if it going to be like a lot of time I try to get someone to go to curves or walk with me. It’s hit and miss thing.
Oh a little faith I have at times

Middle of The Road

I’m not going to bore you with much on my health issue today last time I went in to the doctor they drew blood from me and my Potassium was low and now I’m taking potassium.
Honest time… I’m trying to change some of my bad health habits and it our own responsibility for the majority of our heath

Let me tell you something I need to take my computer into the shop sometime soon it making to many errors and I can’t get any more picture to load on a Cd and there is plenty of room.
At this very moment I wouldn’t buy anther dell computer

I notice I had a few flower blooming in my patriotic flower bed

Bachelor Buttons

Cosmo

This late morning I went into town to meet my friend Qunelle and her hubby Earl. She want these parts of her web site Home page, general information and Lunch Buffet
She wrote her parents a letter to ask advancement on her part of her inheritance. But at first Quenelle when put up her web site that people would be flocking to her business by the groves I think she figure it takes more then putting up a web site to run a business
Now she strongly considers putting her site with some wedding type-sites.

On my hodgepodge bed she gave me well over half of the plants in their and this

rose that smells so lovely and if I knew how to put the sent on my blog I would. If I’m not mistaken is buy her roses though high country roses

I finely got my Lithia altar up

it actual quite simple.
I have assortment of rocks and every time I pick one up I try to thing positive words or statements.
Then I have two southerly photo one is that I took and the other is from my Lithia Scavenger Hunt partner and it picture of southerly look around Vancouver BC. Plus there is two candles representing the god and goddess.
And in the middle of altar I have a friendship jar and anyone who wishes me good energy can rub it and sent me a piece to add to my friendship jar.
But the only thing is you can’t go out and buy it.
So if you haven’t add to my friendship jar you may mail it to

Friends By The Keyboard

Yesterday was the first day that I took my Citalpram Well the first pill I felt Nausea almost all day.
But before I took my pill I went out and poured a load of greenware and I became nausea and didn’t get anything pulled plus it was to hot.
I went out this morning and pulled the greenware. I thought something would sit to long in the mold a cracked but all came out excepted my ice cream sundue dish.
I have a headache now but I’m sure it’s from dehydration and I’m trying to get fluids back in me.
All in all I feel better then yesterday.

I thought it would be fun and interesting to see which coffee pal was the closes and the farthest from me.
The close one is burdockboy who recently move from Wisconsin to Sandpoint which is a little over 30 minute drive but not 45 minutes.
Jaspenelle would be next closes coffee pal who lives in Spokane and I actual grew up there out by the Idaho line. Spokane is about a 2 hour drive from here.

Now for the ones who I would have to fly and see because there is ocean between us. I would have to fly over the North Pole or across the Atlantic Ocean to visit Clairs garden who lives by Campsie Fells, Scotland and I honestly clueless what large city I would have to fly in to Scotland.
Now is I was going to visit Miss R I would fly a long ways over the Pacific Ocean to Woodford Australia
Wonderful things about blogs you can meet all sort of wonderful people and not leave your key board and if you get chance stop by these site and say “Hello”

Lights Camera and Action

Actual I thought my trip down to Sandpoint would be pretty routine and actual never thought a camera would be something to bring on this trip.

My first trip would be down to A Full life Agency and drop off a copy of our vehicle insurance. Pretty simple and boring I drop in their time box.

Then I stopped in one local organic food markets on the way back. I just want to check out prices. Confession time…I know we could improve our diet but I know people who was a lot worst diet then we do. But going complete organically would be not realistic at this time.
I never was one to burn one end of the candle or the other end. I try to obtain a balance in life any some days it’s pretty hard.

Driving though Sandpoint Main Strip and all there little shops are. I drove by where the old Cold Water Creek retail out let was. They have been remodeling it sometime to set up different stores in there. As I drove by I saw they were open now and swung around the block and parked in some doctors office which all where closed and walked over to tour the new shops.
I now wish a brought a camera all sort of neat things and some pricey and not so pricey. Some items I want and others I real didn’t want. But all I could live without.
But I notice some people had smaller booth and carts were selling there were. If there had or were moving any of there items I have no ideal about that.
But as I was on the top floor and end I notice that they had some extra booths and market crafts I would presume they rent these out.
I thought of possibly rent one for my finish ceramic ware.

Sandpoint actual was holding there wooden boat show and I saw few going down Sand Creek toward Lake Pend Orille .
They’re all polished up and quite shinny and pretty. Darn I wish I brought a camera.

Then I head up to wal mart to get my prescriptions. For my anxiety they put me one Citalopram which is generic form of celexa.
This morning I took my first pill and I’m slowly weaning my self off the other one. This morning I felt sleepy and had to rest for a hour and the sleepiness seem to subdue it self. Not sure how this new stuff will work.
Honest time…we’re all responsible for our own health. I could do more for my self that would benefit my health. Like get out and walk, a better diet, and be more active.
I found this interesting site on Anxiety

I got a few other things in wal-mart it all fit in one bag

I held a Litha scavenger hunt and Autumn receive her package from Jaspenelle
I’ll be holding anther scavenger hunt for Mabon this September

Eleventh Photo Hunt Entry

SHAWDOWS

Theme: Shawdows/ Become a Photo Hunter/ View Blogroll

This is from the morning sun coming though my kitchen widow on the east side of our home.
When I saw this I thought a prefect for today theme and it was so easy didn’t have to hunt and hunt for that special picture to go with a theme

Went to the doctor and everything pretty well stay the same excepted there going to but me on a different anxiety pill.
I was on Zoloft which was pricey and did ok and expect I gain weight on it. Confession time…If I got more exercise and ate a little more sensible I would drop a few pounds The doctor said there was anther anxiety and he explain it as a distant cousin to Zoloft. I need to go to wal-mart and pick them up this afternoon.
Prescriptions are so costly and we can afford the $4.00 ones. Confession time…I don’t like giving wal-mart much money because I know what there practices does to our living here. But We are caught between a rock and hard spot.

The Bird Song Sounds So Beautiful

Today I’m off the see a physician assistant most of my medication needs to be refilled and it time for me to have them updated.
I have slight high blood pressure and edema and I take a water pill for that.
I have anxiety and of course I take a pill for that.
I have asthma and I did a steroid inhaler and rescuer inhaler.
Confession time…I feel in general I do ok and I’m a happy person. But on the high blood pressure if I went and walk at fast pace it would help. I’m not a big salt eater, which helps.
My Anxiety a tack in general seems to be less and not as long. But Marjory of the time I always feel that I’m always on minor edge and my mind hardly rest.
Now for the asthma different things in the environment will trigger it off but sometime stress will trigger will do it

I been to this physician assistant seemed to be though in what he does. I went to him because my asthma was acting up. honest time…I can’t stand medical profession when you see them about an issue they want to look somewhere else that has nothing to do with that.
“Go in for eye disease and they want to look at your heel”

I’m getting better at getting up at 3:15 in the morning to get Murphy off to work. I’m actual getting more done.
But it been so blast hot here before noon you’re trying to find a cool area and we head into the basement.
I got more done around the home.
honest time…I miss my coffee the first thing in the morning I actual start cooking breakfast then and I go lay down for less then an hour.
But this morning I actual got to meditate and you could see the glow of the sun coming over the Parcel Mountain range and the birds were beginning to sing.
I haven’t taken a walk for a week and took a short walk early this morning.

Two of my coffee pals have guest books for people to sign. They are Pea and Autumns Meadow You need not be a regular reader or visitor to these blog to sign these guest book.

I add or I should rediscovery Miss R blog and her new one is Tales of Finglewood
Every so often I feel like my blogging life is stuck in rout and I decide to go blog hunting so I took the last blog on my coffee pal which is Miss R out of Australia and was going to visit her comments and the first one who left a comment on her blog I was going to visit and I met Sweet Pea

Sets of Four and Eight

With not having a job I figure one day a week I could put in an extra pour of ceramics.
I did a small pour of items. These items I want to sell in finish set.
Two set of eight on the sundue dishes.
One set of eight of the napkin rings
Then for the Halloween napkin ring I want to sell a set of four. My Halloween napkin ring mold does have some problem and I have to mend the mold, a piece keep coming out of the witch.

As every southerner knows it's time to get ready for that all important cooking technique of the south---outdoor Grilling! I have found several stores (not just in the south) where you can get a FREE Bar-B-Q Grill! This is not a joke. You can get a free BBQ grill from any of the following stores:
A&P
Albertsons
Costco
Food Lion
Fry's
Kroger
Big Lots
Brookshire's
Lowes
Publix
Safeway
Sam's Club
Target
Vons
Wagner Hardware
Wal-Mart
Winn-Dixie
I especially like the higher rack -which can be used for keeping things warm!

Just make sure to get a metal one...the Plastic one's don't do so well.

Not all is good either. My car alternate belt broke. In older car like when I was in high school or before it was fairly easy to change an alternate belt.
But on my car you have to take off the power steering unit.
So I had to take it Dyks and it doesn’t look like they can’t touch it until Monday.
But they’re good at if some how if there is open spot they’ll get it in

I order a few ceramic items from big ceramic store what I mainly got is tools that clean greenware.
I could of thought of lot of other things I could use put what to spent under $75.00 at this time

Not knowing Is Sometime a Real Kicker

Some time ago I bought this picture of teacups at one of our local thrift store and I’ve always love them but never could figure out where or how I want to hang them,
Until yesterday, when I was rearranging things in the basement.
We all have been pretty well staying in the basement because of the summer heat.
I ran into an

washboard, which was stuck under our stairs and easy to get at. And I though to my self “I know where, how, and what I can do with this Washboard

But I wish deciding what I want or need to do with my employment life was easy to figure out. When considering how I make this decision will be based on more then one factor, me.
I’m having some multi issues about going back to work.
I don’t have a college degree and I’m limited on what I can I do or I should say because I don’t have a fancy piece of paper saying I can do _______. I know I have talents that isn’t be utilized.
Idaho isn’t famous for big wages or even living wages. I heard there looking for workers in the Courd’Alene area but the jobs there won’t buy a home. Statement time…Courd’Alene is about 60 miles from me and it’s not an optional for me unless it pay big buckaroos
But now back to the choice I need to make.
I had an easy client and I figure I did a good job getting her more independent so I help her improve her health. But in general I don’t like being around sick and bitchy people.
I real don’t mind doing the social part of my job.

“Every penny counts” but when I was working in a lot of ways we weren’t eating healthy as we could have been. On the days that was long and I was tired I would pick up some prepared food full of nasty chemical. Honest time…We are eating more healthier since I’m not working but still could improve But now I cooked breakfast and I’m putting more effort in to dinner.
There was days I was so burned out on my job and I did half ass job doing my own place. Now even being off for these few days. I’m starting to see a bit of sunshine attitude in my own place.
Confession time…My home wasn’t in squalor condition but I was embarrass that I wasn’t super woman and kept it up.
But the extra money helps to get those few odd things that we would possible get. Having your own paycheck gave me since of control over my life.
I didn’t have to depend on Murphy for every little thing and I knew he appreciated me bringing in a paycheck and he also appreciate housework.
Honest time…I don’t want Murphy to think he has to carry most of the burden of supporting the family financial
But at this time being so hot Murphy been working hoot owl and I do plenty around here to make him more comfortable and if I went back in home care I know the odds would be that things would slowly crumble around here.

I can think of projects that could be done around here some are free, cheap, and would cost an arm and leg. But the cheap or free project most of them I can handle. But the ones that cost us an arm and leg I didn’t make the big wages that need to do them.
Confession time…Some of the projects I would be quite slow because of lack of experience
Even if I worked then a lot of time no time to do the projects

I been thinking of focusing on the ceramics a little more but I won’t see any money until possible October because that is first craft show I’ll be doing Honest time..It doesn’t mean that I’ll get all my investment back what I put in the business all at one shot There is a chance that I could possible get an esty shop now, but I’m not sure when.

It all breaks down to money or time

We been trying to keep the heat out of our home. On the east side the morning sun beats down on the kitchen window.
So Murphy and I put some

sunscreen an to hope to keep the sun heat out. We had to tac this screen down because the power lines are right above.

This sunscreen is above our bedroom window.
But I have a hunch I’ll need to do more on the east side of house it looks like it going to be a scorcher for next two weeks.

If It Is'nt, It Is

It official that my client Callie decided to try it on her own. I haven’t yet talk to A Full Life Agency and I’m not sure if they have any clients in boundary county that don’t have care givers. I’ll later on today or tomorrow I’ll talk to my supervisor and see what what.
Friday the 30th of June as I was ending my week and I ask Callie what she want to do for the following week because the 4th of in the middle of the week.
So I knew that she was driving some friends down to Sandpoint to see a doctor and I suggest that she give me a call when she got back and I could come in. If I didn’t hear from her that on Tuesday I would come in at 9:00 but before I came in I would give her call at 8:30 in morning and I did that.
Her mom answered the phone and said she asleep and I said “when she gets up have her give me a call” and I never heard from her.
So that evening I called her and she sound exhausted and she told me then she thought she was on the way to Courd’Alene and when she say Courd’Alene I know she might be heading to North Idaho Behavioral Health
I told her that I could come in 4th for a little while maybe before her guest came and give me a call, didn’t hear from her.
So Thursday afternoon I stop in and she told me that her bi polar and thyroid was acting up and she then asked me if I thought she could handle it on her own. I told her the majority of the time she had more good days then bad days.
Then she asked me if I lost my job if it would be finical hardship to my family and I said I’m like everyone I pretty well spend what we made and we have lived on one check before.
I know when it comes to Medicaid that it easier for anyone to cut there hours but to gain back hours it almost like pulling teeth. So I suggest that she cut her hours down to 12 to 8 hours a week. But she made the choice to go cold turkey

So at this point I not sure what I want to do. I have plenty of projects to do around here. But it’s always comes down to plenty of money and no time to do them or it plenty of time and no money

At this time the June Berries are ripe and I went and picked some off our bush.

I picked 4 pints worth and but them in the deep freezer. I’ll do one more picking in a couple of days.

I don’t know if this is folk lore and if it is who was it actual started by I’m clueless.
Our local Kootenai which is part of the Salish would eat June berries because they have a small worm which gives them a sweet taste and for it protein value

We’re excepting anther round of hot weather coming in and by mid week it should be over the century mark.
So Murphy been working what the loggers would call hoot owl shift. When it first comes hot and dry they want everyone pretty well out of the woods by 0ne in the afternoon. So they actual start to work between 3AM and 4AM.
Murphy starts work at 5AM and leaves at 1PM and is not taking lunch.
I had a wonderful ideal that I would get up at 3:15 and make a wonderful breakfast of hashbrown, links, and eggs. It didn’t work out. I lost tract of time but I did get fresh pot of coffee on.

The other day Murphy and I went up an visit Earl and Qunelle. She had her window covered with

Bamboo beach mats. So today Sawyer picked me up on and I put it over my Kitchen window even if it only covered half of the window it sure seem to help.
My goal is to keep the heat out and light in.
I heard Wednesday it should be hitting the century mark and I want to put a sheet folded up and tact it to the outside.
It real wouldn’t pay to have air condition for most of the time it only above 95 for about two to three week out of the year.
So now I just vegetal in the basement until this heat subdued.
But a least here it cools off in the evening and in the morning we can get a little done outside.

Quenelle has always like my shelf that I have in my dinning room and the linen I hang from there. She gave me a piece of linen which have beautiful stitching but it doesn’t hand right.
