May 09 In Review

As for me picking a color I sure wouldn’t pick gray. I can sure could ware that color.
I don’t know how the biofeedback machine picks the color for a person.
I only have two pieces of gray clothing a pair shorts and sweatshirt and I’m not going to put on the sweatshirt this time of year or run to town and buy a bunch a gray items.
I could use other gray items but have gray around me

I didn’t tell the person much but it was right on about pain and muscle stress in my upper back and shoulder.
Plus it also got my broken bone which was my toe

We did some touch up on our garden the parsnips didn’t come up and we replanted some.
One type of carrots didn’t come up either and replanted with white carrots.
Move some leeks around added anther cucumber plant.
Both green and wax beans are up now. Plus more and more is coming nicely along.
Planted and old fertilizer spreader with a gourd called “Luffa”
I decided to plant two dahlias in the corner of my garden

Biofeed infomation

Did my first biofeedback section today. Thought it was quite interesting.
I did learn quite a bit but I don’t recall what it all about.
But I’m willing to share what I recall.

I seem to be lacking in the Amino acid some more then others. I’ll have to get list from her on the ones I’m short on.
She suggested eating flax seeds

Then also I was missing some mineral in my body and the only one I recall was Boron and also plantinum I sure I hope I have this right

For some reason the biofeedback machine told me my color is gray for my healing or energy color

Plus I have some parasites she gave me a drink that I could make. It upstairs and she warn me it was awful tasting

My pineal gland is not balanced

It seem like lot of my problem is related to my stomach area. I don’t have many wrinkles but the ones I do is on my forhead. I understand that Chinese does a thing called Physiognomy
I was asked about my bm and mine is hard to give and honest account the one word I would use is it “varies”

Well the place I could use help mental is confusion and hesitating

Member of the Stupid Club.

Once I got home I decided to watch Dr Phil and vegetate on the couch. Well the topic was on things one may but on line.
I never had been afraid to openly post anything on the net. As I use fake name to protected my family and friends.
Although some may figure out who is who.
But we don’t have control of the outside world and what other may post or not.
I just googled in my own name and there only 82,900 hits
I didn’t looked much but I know their people out there who would mind posting on flattering and non flattering things about me.
What can one do?
And even some of it could be the truth or half-truth. You know the lop side tells of life.
I believe most people been in wal mart and they got camera all over there store. Taking picture.
Who says something from one of there security camera couldn’t post something on the internet so I googled in “wal mart security camera” I bet you a dollar to a dozen doughnuts not every picture that the security camera gets is always flattering”

Bloggers comes in all life forms. I decided on my sidebar I wouldn’t be posting religious symbols or political symbols on my sidebar.
I seen to many people stand be hind there religion so they can give there self permission to do nasty and hurtful things to others.
Good ideals come from all side of the fence. It doesn’t matter what political party one come from.
Heck I only vote one time for main candidate for president.
As many of my reader wonder which faith I may fellow. Well I’ll tell you I don’t have a faith sit in stone. Then one may ask if I’m non-believer. The simple truth is “no”

Some may think less of me because I like to visit a wide range of blogger and if you have a certain symbols on your side bar. I will think no less of you and you are a very important person

No Freezing or Canning For Winter Months

The other day I was asked about preserving and saving food. Well I like to share some things I picked up on storing food.
Other then canning or freezing.
A root cellar would be ideal. When I was growing up we had a root celler off our basement. If I recall it were two or three feet below the basement. It wasn’t huge room either.
On the side there was building boxes full of sand which my parents buried things like onions, carrots, parsnips, apples and etc things.
Also one can wrap their apples in newspaper the black and white prints. But them in cool area.
One way of doing squash is finding a cool dark place and sitting the squash on make sure they’re not touching.
The main reason food will go bad is a gas they give off. The main key is keeping them separated

Sometime in the past I bought a phlox plant from walmart a purple one. So anything purple or yellow usual go in my royal sunshine flowerbed.
I’ve had trouble with this plant and it never yet bloomed.
Every year for some reason it seem to attract spit bug because there spitty stuff on the leaves.
So I took a paper towel and clean off the spit. I heard that basic H was good for the plants. So I sprayed it this morning.
I don’t know if I have leaf curl or not but my leaf on the phlox sure not in tip top shape.
I don’t even know if phlox get leaf curl or not.

I fell asleep during the news last night

The computer wasn’t running or something was hay wired I keeped getting kicked off line and I noticed blogged called “Teaching Good Things” has has links to some freebies

After helping Faith on her errands I had to run some for my self I don’t like leaving dairy and meat in the vehicle during the heat.
I want to get some coconut oil and there little shop up north of the three mile that carries it.
She sells it for reasonable price still quite a bit higher then the regular cooking oils.
I went to the place next door, which is luncheon shop.
I had a cup of soup for $1.50 it was cream of bake potato with bacon and it was good.
Our neighbor lady joins me at the table. She announces her political ideal are on the conservative side. I just kept my mouth shut and talked about food.
I don’t believe she want to hear my liberal or I have to say I’m middle of the road but leans to the left.
But she never went into details on her political views.

I stop in Safeway and grab a few items that was on sale and this is last day of our sales

I been having a craving for swiss steak and had part of the ingratiates but not all. I was going to get a round steak at $2.57 a pound but I notice that london broils was at $2.47 a pound.
I’ll be having rice with it. I won’t be cooking a veggie because I have onion, green peppers, bok-choy, cabbage, and garlic in it. Plus a tomato sauce covering

Well faith gave me some fresh spinach and lettuce from her garden. Plus some smaller light purple iris and yellow one.
Which will be divided up between my hodgepodge and my royal sunshine flowerbed.
Plus she gave me a Japanese maple not sure were I want to put it

Joy Putting Your Hands In the Soil

Last two days Murphy and I spent planting out our veggie garden. We put in corn, green beans, yellow beans, zucchini, peppers, hubbard squash, parsnips and sunflowers.

It really doesn’t look like much now just plants and dirt. But a few things are actually poking though the dirt. I don’t know if I said anything about the kale coming up.
But I know I haven’t blogged that my kohlrabi is above the soil now just barley. Plus the potatoes are breaking the soil at fairly good rate.

My hubby is really in a depress mood. I made point about the problem with terrorist and Israel conflicted.
Murphy came back and said “God loves pain and suffering”
I don’t know if he thinks God is in favor of the political ultra conservative religious right.
Opinion time…Sure there pain in this world but I don’t believe it the whole picture
We should go back to the Gardenia center he does get a warm and positive message from there. I do also. Been busy lately

I been trying to get the rest of Bart graduation announcement out and it seem it one thing or anther with printer.
I should have had them out way before this

Update…Hubby seem to be in a better mood

Single Payer For Our Health

I been quite concern on how our medical system here in America is sit up. Recently there been talk about a ‘single health payer”
Opinion time…It a start in the right direction for all to have asset to medical care
I didn’t get the change to watch Bill Moyers journal on the 22nd of May. Please Click here and research the different options.
I would encourage to contact there elected officals I’m giving a green light for the single health care.
Info time…One time I check in purchasing private health care this was quite a few years back it would cost over 30% of our income and not quite 35% which we at that time couldn’t afford and still can’t

Did more in the veggie garden but not going to blog about it now. But thought I would get you an update on the flowerbeds.

The royal sunshine flowerbed my dark purple Iris are going gangbuster and also my dark purple tulips are also.
Plus the other plants are just doing fine.

Quite a few of our trees have pretty blooms on them.

It seems slow for any color come to life in my hodgepodge flowerbed. The lily of the valley seem to be next in line to bloom

We went into wal-mart and got two laundry totes. Which were $8.00 a piece During the summer we hang the majority of our clothes on the line to dry.
The ones we had before we had them for more then 5 years and they where starting to crack.
Plus I need to get the rest of my son Bart picture so I can finish out sending his senior graduation announcements.
Plus we adventure over were the gardening stuff. Picked up a hubbard squash and a zucchini plant.
Plus I need to get one more graduation card for one of Bart friend.

Then over to home depot. Mainly to look at showers and see the possibility what to do with our master bathroom

I Rather Do It This Way Not That Way.

Flowers real don’t represent every spirit or soul. I headed up to Grandview Cemetery to decorate some graves.
So two of the graves I did not with flowers but with whirl bird, which went on our nephew Nate grave.
I put a sun on my parents grave Harold (Pete) and Myra.
So I put plastic flowers on my cousin Doyle, Murphy dad Dewayne, and his mom Delora, my grandparents Edgar (Jack) and Olive, Murphy grandparents John and Elizabeth. Then I went over to our friend Les and put some flowers on his grave.
Statement time…memorial day real gets to me. I rather honor those who cross over in different rhelm then what we live in
I rather do something in line of Samhain But I know no one around here real does Earthy holidays such as changing of the seasons.
I could think plenty to do for some of the spirits. Like my dad I could have display of trains sense he worked 50 years on the trains. Anyhow he started before he was 18 years old, and he really like spilt peas soup, I know my cousin Doyle was a great fan of football and have friendly game of football out in the cemetery. Plus Doyle serve his country during Vietnam.
I don’t know if Doyle liked playing pinochle but he knew how. A friendly game of cards. Murphy mom I never met but I understand she was avider book reader so one could bring some of her favor books. My Grandma Olive loved flowers.
I understand Elizabeth like a sip of wine.
Doesn’t this sound like a better way to celebrate those who gone before us?

I went to a few yard sales. I got late start I want to do a few chores around the place before I adventure out.
One thing getting a late start I didn’t spend all that much only a dollar. Which got me Dr Phil book “Self Matters”.
So next weekend yard selling I’ll have more money and I might be going to the yard sale in Sandpoint area. Or even a thrift shops

Lack Of Cash..Now For An Answer

Murphy and I planted some flowers among the east fence line of the veggie garden.
I thought the folklore of flowers and or symbols were always fascinating.
So we stuck in some strawflowers which means” Never ending remembrance”. We add two more flowers bachelor buttons “Delicacy, hope in love, blessedness.” Then also some zinnia “Thoughts of absent friends.” We got the geranium “Folly; Stupidity” Ok but also I been told it keeps away evil spirits.
I once was stupid and told the folklore to my client Donna about the geranium keeping evil spirits away.
Well she told me they needed Jesus. Confession time…sometime I sure am stupid and put my foot in my mouth

Money is so tight around here Murphy is only working part time. Least he is working. So our income is down.
When it comes to graduation we usual give a “Jackson” ($20) and a dishtowel. Well this year there getting a card a “Lincoln”($5) and a dishtowel.
Plus my client was getting rid two dishtowels. So they didn’t cost me a thing.
I know I’ll have to go in the dollar store and pick-up anther dishtowel, a card, and a Lincoln

You know that ole saying or maybe it just a statement. “You marry a trait of your parents” Well I think it true, not 100%.
Murphy sure can complain and grip just like my dad did.
He was looking in the shed saying we have to much junk. It sure isn’t prefect but it on shelves but it better then just having it toss every where.
The main reason he was complain that the item we use to hang the geranium by our front door couldn’t be found.
I made something and it works.

SomeTime One Has To Dig Deep In One Pockets

I can’t believe when we paid in our Taxes this year. There people out in universe pays a lot more then we do.
It sure sat us back.
I thought we would pretty well be ok for this year (08) tax season. We still have one kid at home.
I have managed to save up $520 dollars to pay our second half of our property taxes.
But our Automobile taxes our due. Which is right around $800 for six months. Bart already gave us the cash for his auto in insurance.

Murphy gets paid Wednesday. So I can pretty well catch up on our natural gas bill. But it won’t completely.
I’m still waiting for the rest of my bonus check. If I don’t see by Friday I’m calling up the company

Drove Faith around today. She gave me some Jerusalem artichoke.

I lost two and quarter pounds this week at T.O.P.S. Now I hit the 185-pound mark. Not a real mark. Half way to the 170’s.
Not sure what special thing I’ll do for my self.
I’m still planning to get my ears re-pierce when I hit the 180’s
.But I haven’t yet

It May Not Look Like Much Now

Sometime my brain has a big fart needing let go. I kept meaning to post about the hummingbird feeder. I kept forgetting.
The other day we hung the hummingbird feeder out.
They have been real going though the juice and dive-bombing each other.

Murphy and I planted more in garden. Buy the picture it looks like plot of dirt.
We got in kohlrabi, beets, celery, parsnips, chard, and two types of carrots.
My friend Faith gave me two bok-choy plants and put them in.
The onion we transplanted didn’t do all that good so we put in some tomato plants.
I noticed that the kale is up and doing great.
Saw one red potato breaking though the soil.

Start some more seeds two types of cucumbers. For squash we did pumpkin and spaghetti squash in seeds.
Started some seeds of Luffa and birdhouse which are gourds

Finish planting my royal sunshine flowerbed I think. Put in gladiolus and dahlias.

I stop in at B.T.C and got two herbs to transplant. Thyme and some parsley the curl tops.
Murphy added a short roll of cilantro to veggie garden. I would of put it in container. But it’s not worth fighting about.
So this year I got in 6 different herbs in and I’m sure that’s going to be it

They Called It King James English

Well a smooth and easy going day. Not much excitement around the place.
Murphy and I finish priming our garage/shop.
At first I thought it was going to be a real battle. Murphy uses the Kings James English. Opinion time…Murphy looks at life’s project as he going into battle I tend to look at life as an adventure.
But for the first 15 or 30 minutes I listen to Murphy use his King James English. Then everything went smoothly.

I got the Siberian Iris in that Faith gave me. Divide them among my patriotic and hodgepodge flowerbeds.

I don’t know when we will have a chance to fix the shower in our bathroom. The other bathroom has a combo shower and tub.
I picked up shower curtain at yard sale for $1.50 and was planning to use it out in the garden.
Now it’s hanging in our tub. Had to buy the shower bar and rings.

I did so-so healthy dinner. Ok one real health thing. I bought some chard from the store and if I knew the price I wouldn’t got it.
For bunch it was like $3.50.
I steamed it.
I had a real hard deciding on meat. So end up in freezer section and buying some chicken breast patties.
We had some au gratin potatoes which really wasn’t all that good

I've Return To The Human Race.

I had been though the wringer this last week. I was going to post something yesterday evening but I was to beat and thing I could of post is negative thoughts about my job. And who want to listen to me complain.
So a good sleep should give me a better look on life

Murphy got most of the house caught up yesterday. He didn’t work do to the weather.
So today I did a two loads of laundry, dishes and vacuumed the living room.

I decided to a little yard sale looking. I was on a hunt for anther item to add to my winter box. Which everything is under $2.50.
Plus any other great finds.

So I’m adding this glass plate to the winter box.

I got a piece of tupperware for .50¢. My hubby use to call tupperware suckerware. Bunch of ladies will sit and get sucked in purchasing suckerware.
I haven’t been to a home party for years

Boy we got major problem with our shower. It needs some major overhauling. It leaks like the devils nose.
So for now we capped the water going into the shower and been taking baths.
But for now it looks like we will put up a shower curtain. Just need to go buy the bar to hold the curtain in place.
Both he and I basically agree on how we should redue the bathroom.
But with the economy we are sitting tight.
He isn’t working a 40-hour week and no pay raise either.
Plus there two other project we started that needs to get back on. Like painting the shop/garage and do some planting in the flowerbeds and veggie garden

I went over and to see what Donna and Lewalla was talking about Biofeedback Donna and Lewalla friend brought her biofeedback machine in and it was amazing what it can do.
So I’m going in for a treatment of the 29th of May.
I can see an improvement in Donna health. Not sure if it all the biofeedback machine. She went to a raw diet, been using Lawalla special light, and the biofeedback machine.
I believe and others do to it a factor of all three

Digging In The Dirt On Mothers Day

I was planning to take the May day picture at the cow creek rd and crossport rd. For some reason I never got around to it.
So I just snap this from our place.

Now for Mothers day I did some planting of my primroses. I put the drumstick one that Faith gave me in my hodgepodge flowerbed.

Then I put 2 regular and a drumstick one in my royal sunshine flowerbed. My yellow tulips are doing fine and so is my daffodils.
I keep seeing more and more coming up.

I put four primroses out in the patriotic flowerbed, which is very weedy.

Today was the 1st time Murphy mowed the lawn and did some trimming with the weed eater.

My hubby doesn’t give me anything for mothers’ day and the reason he doesn’t he says I’m not his mom.
This is true but I am a mom still.
Does anyone out in blogger world was this problem?
My youngest one Bart wish me a happy mothers day and Sawyer gave me a card.
Even my client Donna and her dog Rex gave me a card.

Go Away Pollen

With the cruel pollen floating around lately
I’ve been pretty well wiped out so I haven’t did any blogging.
Just went to work and that’s about it.
Today I have some relief but still my head feel like 25 pounds instead of 50 pounds

I did get the pillowcases done.
Which I’m planning to use for part of Christmas exchange with my in-laws.
Still I’m planning to have a calendar made. From the weather photo I take each month.
One can see how the weather changes month to month.
Now for cost of the pillowcases.
I found the pillowcase still in it original wrapper under our steps. I’m pretty sure they were my moms.
She wouldn’t mine me using them. She would think I was being thrifty and wise.
I real did fine a pattern around the place I felt comfortable using. Sense it been a while I’ve done any embroidery.
I want a simpler pattern and found one for under $2.00
I didn’t need to buy any embroidery floss.
I real didn’t carry for the color of green I had to do some lazy daisy stitches.
So I went and bought anther shade of green.
Which was right around .50¢
So it cost me well under $5.00 for pillowcases.
Not sure what wall mart charges for calendars but I believe it right around $20.00

I can’t say I real haven’t done much on the ceramic train or hen lately, I know it shouldn’t take long to finish up.
But the pollen just wipe me out. I have no energy left

I only made it to one sale yesterday called “fathers of all yard sale” Held at our local fairgrounds in Bonners Ferry.
I have to say the one in 08 was a lot better. It was just plain fantastic. This year it was completely different story.
I wasn’t to impress in general what they had.
Statement time…My brain don’t real work all that well when the pollen is heavy in the air
So that’s the only yard sale I did.
I did find one item for a $1.00 still in it original box called “grater/slice prep chef” The side of the box it says it’s a separator, slicer, course grater, and fine shedder. With a clear container.
This will be part of my winter box

Yesterday I had to go into Sandpoint which I didn’t want. But I had to go any do a training called “matrix” a pain if you want to know.
I did some shopping for my Donna.
Had a chance to look around at a few yard sale and thrift stores. I went into two different thrift stores and didn’t buy a thing.
I already spend my money I had on protecting sleeves for paper.
I bought some dahlias for my patriotic flowerbeds.

Today Is Thursday, March 28, 2024: This Is What Happened.

I have been putting together my bullet journal for the second quarter. I’m so thankful for the white-out. I almost made a calendar for the ...
