It morning, now. I thought I would post. In about 2 hours I will be heading south. Murphy got a doctor appointment last this afternoon. Going to stop and see his sister. I like to do a little bit of things around the place.
This morning I watch a little bit of the news. It seem the been cover the same stories over and over. I know there more going on. I actual like to listen to different point of views on a story. Question time...What news outlet do you use?
I end up watch one episode of LANDSCAPE ARTIST OF THE YEAR I usually don't agree with the judges. This video is about 45 minutes long.
Coffee is on.
I read The NY Times, the NY Daily News and Newsday (Long island newspaper). I watch the local news on WABC and/or WNBC and then the network news on NBC, MSNBC and sometimes CNN.
ReplyDeleteI don't watch the news anymore. I got to Twitter and look to see what's trending. If something big is happening it will be on there.
ReplyDeleteX (formerly Twitter) has more fake news than any other social media outlet. I wouldn’t rely on it.
Delete...we watch the PBS news.
ReplyDeleteThe artists have their own take on things.
ReplyDeleteMost of the articles I link to on Tuesdays I found on Bluesky. Find a social media site you like and follow as many news sources as you can. Then the algorithm will feed you more. Of course, you have to be careful as fake news can infiltrate, but you might find different voices that way. (Try Al Jazeera and BBC. They'll have a non-American slant.)
ReplyDeleteWe don't watch much news these days. I check some news headlines on the internet but most of it is they just want you to click on the headline so they don't tell you anything.
ReplyDeleteI won't watch commercial tv because I don't trust anything they say. So that leaves two honest governmental channels for news in Australia - the ABC/Australian Broadcasting Corporation and SBS/Special Broadcasting Service. From Britain, I watch the BBC/British Broadcasting Corporation.
