I know this is quite a few different version of a painting done out of acrylics. Not sure if this is a male or female. Question time...Is it female or male? But I'm trying to do my version of seasonal change. Leaving summer but it stays on a bit. Then there the season of Autumn with all it glory and color.
Then the death of season, winter that is.

Most of October we have had clear blue skies, and today there been a little bit of rain. Usual October is pretty wet. I have seen snow in lower valley around here, occasionally. But no snow on the peaks yet. Older I get less thrilled I'm about snow and such.
As you can see tree is showing it branches, but yet we  have some trees with color. No green leaves or I should say a touch.
The goldish color tree on right hand side is WESTERN LARCH. Could remind or look like fir tree in summer months, but needles change color in fall and fall to ground.

It been a while since I taken part in two photo memes. I usual do ABC Wednesday and Wordless Wednesday.
There anther one I do usual on this day is called "words for wednesday" but once again I won't be taken part. Hopeful soon I will get my act together and come up with a story.

It's Been A Quite Day

Yesterday, Saturday my youngest came up and help us, get to point on our side steps. Which will be safe for the winter months.
Sure there still a little more to do. But Murphy and I can handle it.
Like finish up the east side of the project, so no one will slip and fall into the outside basement entry. And then sometime in 2019, we can put cover over the basement.

Since we're to this point. I'm starting to make plans to head down to Medford Oregon. Anytime after Friday the 26 I feel I would be comfortble of taking off. But would rather leave sometime after Monday the 29th.

So I am waiting for my son Sawyer to call, his wife is on new mommy leave she a flight attendant, and they going to fly me down on there buddy pass.
Which is stand by. Only once I couldn't get on.
Confession time...I use to like to fly, but now not so much.
Once she goes back I believe it end of Nov or first part of Dec. Her main reason keeping her job is health insurance, and she would just like to work enough to cover the cost for the family.
My son as a aviation mechanic and also has certification for being a inspector for aircrafts. They real don't need the extra income.

I been thinking of starting to work some of my craft project. Murphy is doing so much better, but yet he not up to full steam yet.
I been working on painting, what I call my metamorphose phantasm of seasonal change.

But today we did some odds ends around the place, and of crouse I can come up with a lot of other things that need to be done. It looks like and guessing most of us can keep busy.

Actual I was hoping to do a painting. I did start one and best way to explain why I didn't get it done..."Life been busy and frying pan on fire"

So once again I'm going to share one my tarot cards I drew. This one is "King of Wands" it my second court card, but my first king.
The other was queen of swords.
The court card can sort of like being at family gathering. There usual all sort of politcal and religious brought to table. At it best and worst.
But since my drawing is King of wands. His postive feature are....honest, professional, and visionary. But his negative feature are...One hit wonder, tyrant, and hasty.
Usual when comes to negative part card, it usual up side down.

Now Look What We're In

Been some jabber about our national debt of 21 TRILLION. Not sure what that is for every human here that lives in United States.
Top five countries with debt is Greece, Jamaica, Lebanon, St Kitts and Nevis, and also Japan. And there is five other one LISTED
Now for lowest debt would be Botswana, Saudi Arabia, Estonia, Bruin and Hong Kong. For the other five LISTED
Not sure how our state of Idaho fares when comes to debt.

I been thinking of voting early. Thinking of going and hopeful get down to Oregon. We only have two ballot initiative we will be voting on.
Horse racing and gambling. I was pretty much fence on that one. I'm not pro or anti gambling. What pushing me no on this one is....when the ad says " net gross profit goes to school" well that could be any amount or percentage.
Then the other one is to expand medicaid in Idaho. As many of my reader know I'm for one payer medical. And medicare for all would be fine. I  believe everyone should contribute to a socialize medical system.
So I'm  voting yes for expand medicaid.
I have never vote a straight ticket but I'm leaning "Blue" vote for most of the democrat candidates. I will vote for two "Red" candidates.
Now this is how I see our state going. Sorry liberals I know your not going to like to hear what I'm about to say.
Idaho will stay one strong red state. Those possible in Boise area might lighten the red up a bit.
But not to lean to the left of even balance things out.
Now for the the measurement. The gambling one will pass and medical one won't. Socialism ideal is pretty much frown on this state.
IDAHO AND HOW WE STACK UP
As for bigger picture or the entire United States. They will be wave of blue pushing forward. I just won't go far enough and say "The blue will control both houses."

Had Some Thoughts They Were Zap

As I was briefly cruising though my regular pages I take part in, before I headed out door to work. I had a few ideals what I could possible blog about.
Now there nothing up stairs. I know there a little up there. I wouldn't be posting about nothing. But sometime thing like that.

I hit the 202 (91) and my end of the year goal was to be at 200 (90) or below.

Murphy is showing a lot of improvement, those shingle took him for a zap. Still not recovering. They want him to see a neurologist but he decided to cancel his appointment. He is doing so much better but I think it was a stupid ideal on his part.
He self medicaid him self with marijuana. See he person that can't stop thinking.
When I was young I smoke marijuana on fairly regular bases. Now of years the effect of it has changed.
Now my brain quites down and I get a paranoid feeling. No fun!

Confession...I like marijuana in baked goods. I get zip a dee doo dah day. But I sure still wouldn't want to do it on a regular bases. For what every reason I like keeping my wits about me. Only did the once lost complete control of my thought process. And that was enough for me.
 Not trying to be to critical I've mass trouble with alchol or powders.
My last client Donna she would make even a strong saint "drink to intoxication" so one would pass out and get up the next morning and go to work.
I'm so thankful I have Regis and Liz for clients.

Looking back my dad I believe now had some type of bi polar, and he medicated him self with alchol. A functioning alcholic.

He held down a good job. Drop out of high school his freshman year and got on railroad in Michigan. Then for a brief time he mange a diary, went back working on railroad. Stayed there until he retired in his 60's
Bills were paid, never worried about not having shelter, clothing, or food.
But emotional and mental support was a total different story.
Got start on rail on right side of the porch. Bart is planning to come up and help us on a few projects that needs to be done for the snow fly.

Maybe I should keep a list of things I want to blog about. I do have BULLET JOURNAL and I got put it in that.

Well For First Around

I believe blogging is my first favor thing to do with social media. I couldn't give honest opinion on my other social media I do...which one would place second, third and fourth place. But here my TWITTER PAGE  my VLOG (YOU TUBE CHANNEL, and INSTAGRAM. But my lease favor Social Media is FACE BOOK, Confession time...I have other facebook pages I start up and hardly visit....I wonder why I spend so much time on facebook. 
I give facebook 5th place or last place.

Then act two or something like that was going to happen. My son Bart was going come up and help us with a few project around the place.
Well he call and wasn't feeling well. His guess he ate some bad food, and he off to work tomorrow. So he said he would be up next weekend.
Confession time...It been well over a year since he had a tumor removed from his brain, all is fine. But I still worry about it.

The items I was hoping to do was to make our side deck safe, put a new kitchen faucet in, and haul the trash.
Murphy and I got the trash hauled.

I just balance out the check book and wrote a check for My health insurance. I've heard both side of AFFORDABLE CARE ACT or Obama care. Actual it been a blessing for our family.
But I did post a poll. Not sure how to do a poll on facebook...Question time...Would you be willing to pay one to three percent of your income for health care for all? Well 21 people vote yes and no one vote no. And one interesting comment. "The average health care cost per person per year is $10,000, how much of your income is that?

Well I donate to help someone start a small business adventure in Medford, THAI TRUCK and the other one was my friend Peggy daughter was doing a fundraiser for our local SHELTER.

I got a few items for Yule. I usual try to get my items from mom and pop types of store. Yesterday I bought some items off of esty for my fur grand pets Yule gifts.

I don't need to be stop because plan A didn't work out. Dishes can be put away, floors can be clean, and I'm positive I can find more to be done around the place.

Well I was hoping to go over and run my ideal by our high priestess for some up coming pagan ideal I have. But she off to one of her grand children birthday party, and I will just play it by ear.

Tomorrow Regis is getting his NERVE STIMULATOR He and I are both excited. His pain level should be less.

Uncle Vern

Vern Brunson McCalmant (92) Vern went home to his Lord on October 3rd 2018.  A graveside service at Grandview Cemetery will be held Saturday Oct. 13th, at 11:00 a.m. followed by a luncheon and fellowship at Grace Bible Fellowship.

In a snow storm on his birthday, Nov. 30th 1937, 12 year old Vern McCalmant moved to what is now Pleasant Valley where he began his long career in the lumber industry.  Throughout high school, he continued sawing and selling cord wood with a buck saw to help support his family.

Upon graduating from Bonners Ferry High in 1944, Vern was called to service in the U.S. Army. After basic training at Camp Roberts, CA, he was shipped over seas where he was wounded on Okinawa. While on recuperative leave home, he proposed to Marjorie his wife of almost 72 years.  After marriage and two boys, Vern was recalled to active service for the war in Korea.

When released from service, he returned to his occupation sawing logs with a crosscut saw. Later, Vern and his brother Glen bought one of the first Chain saws in Boundary County.  This led to his eventual occupation as a logging contractor from which he retired in 1990.

Vern’s love of the outdoors was transferred to his children and led to years of hunting and fishing with his pride and joy, his sons Doyle, XXX, XXX, and Patrick, two boys, XXX and XXX, who made their home with the McCalmant family, grand children,  great grand children, and great-great grand children.

He is survived by his wife XXX, son XXX and wife XXX, son XXX, 7 grand children, 17 great grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren two sisters XXX and XXX  and brother XXX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 7 siblings, son Doyle and son Patrick. He is survived by his wife XXX, son XXX and wife XXX, son XXX, 7 grand children, 17 great grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren. 

Editor note...Uncle Vern was born in Minatare Nebraska, and year he retire I believe is not correct.

Want To Need To

Sure I bought some canvas boards out of Walmart. But recently I been drawing my tarot cards and I want and or need to have a change up a little.
So I had an ideal of a painting.
I know I picked some up at Walmart and now I'm second guessing my self that I might of change my mind.
But if I recall when I looked at canvas that my client and I could each do a painting.

But many of you know at the first of each month, from the previous month I'm in need to know my inter self, so I take part in PERSONALITY INSIGHT but I wonder if there one for art or not.

Usual hubby is an excellent house hubby, but this shingle has taken him for a loop. So I been working and maintain things around the place.
But the little extra aren't getting done.

Well this afternoon Murphy went to eye doctor and looks like there no sign of shingles in his eyes. Now the 23rd he will be seeing the neurologist.
Sunday Bart will be coming up from Spokane, he and I will be working on our side deck and make it safe for people to use this winter.

Tomorrow is a busy day and little bit each day.
Coffee with my friend Qunella at Under the Sun. Regis bought a new well new to him chair, and I will use the pick up to bring it to him.
Not sure how I will load and un load it. But I'm sure something will be figured out.
Them Friday I'm going to Spokane for the day, and possible visit all of my grand daughters. Betty Sawyer wife call and found out she in Spokane until sometime I believe is Saturday.
Then for my self I will be going to my Uncle grave side service, and maybe stop by one of my pagan friend and run by some ideals I have for a group.
Then Bart on Sunday.

I did had slight gain in my weight lost. But still under 205 and working on my next little bit of weight to loose.

It Could Be Quite Simple If Need Be

The community leaders had a breakthrough in decided how this year vacation might be done. It took a while but they had a machine that one could step in and take a trip or be part of something. But to be fair as money been gone for many century. To be quite honest how does one earn time in the latest holodeck.

People here in Bogus earn by doing the right thing in life. And still after many generation, people were still jerks.

But it was agree on at everyone who was over 16 years could use the holodeck twice a year, for 2 days. Then after that someone or group could use there merit points. In hope this might renew some people and understand what makes people tick.

The team at Parmitus figure after many wipe out and clean out. How to set the mind and really believe they could be part of something, that they may or not have opportunity. Something like taking lysergic acid diethylamide and stepping though a time portal. B

But the main trouble they had with the holodeck is bringing many fantasy that could work together. Many mishaps happen in the lab. 

Actual the first community to purchase one was a little town west of the mountains. And health increase which includes mental health.

So the governing body had made decision on how the holodeck was going to be use. The first person would be choice by a the name generator did pick Margaret Preet and she could pick three people to be the first to use the holodeck. They want to be part of the Rogue Moon they decided they want Lois Marshall to be part of time in holodeck. Not many people every hear about the Vice Presidents. But since computers more people has a chance to be contributing part of history.
Lois Marshall was the wife of Vice President Marshall who service under President Wilson.
As soon as the three would open the purple door and step over blue line Lois Kimsey would be there.

They decided they didn't want to spend the entire a looted time. Only six hours in the holodeck.
Since they were the first to do though. It was agree following Friday that they would answer at public form of what went on and how they felt.
But Lois could step over the blue line and go though the purple doors. But shortly before the six hours Lois could write out a statement on how she felt about the adventure she was on.

Soon it was time for Margaret and her three friends had to address and answer the community question and such.
But shortly they became more comfort in front of there community. After answer all sort of things about all sort of things about the holodeck. On what happen and feelings.
Soon the town bogus even got anther holodeck.
Many things were learn about human nature. In physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological sense.

Plan Out For Next Week, But Who Knows

I wonder if this post is will come out right. I didn't sleep good and don't want to go to bed, at this time.
So I'm hoping my post will make sense.

I got my goals done today. Dishes, clean off table, bullet journal, garden, time card, pay bills, and clean out my car.

Dishes was the last chore done. Well I put the clean dishes away and wipe down the counters. Murphy did wash up the dirty ones.

Tonight for dinner we made chicken chilli.

Harvest the winter squash and as you can see there not many. But I'm hungry for some.

Well the rest of chores went good. I think this week seem fairly quite for work. I have a dentist appointment in morning to get my teeth clean. Hubby has an eye appointment with optometrist Tuesday morning to see about the shingles in his right eye.

Got my grand daughters pjs for christmas, and for oldest one I bought a dvd, MR DRESS UP. Both my son just love this show when they were young.

Love A Varity Of Feeling

Made a few you tube video, but I find it easier to express my self with type words or art.
I could call my self curious person. As many you know at beginning of each month, from the past month. I use PERSONALITY INSIGHT and one can learn about there personality.
But I wonder if there one for you tube videos

A quick up date on Hubby. He seem to be doing better, went to the doctor today and will continue on carouse. He goes back to the eye doctor on the 9th. Couldn't get an appointment for the Neurologist until the 23rd. The closes neurologist is in Courd'Alene which is a little over an hour drive.
When they start talking about neurologist, it scary your dealing with the brain.
But if he didn't have shingle I believe I would be a little more nervous about the whole situation. 

Wednesday evening my Uncle Vern pass away. Obituary isn't up yet. He was shy of his 93 birthday.
He was married for over 72 years, and I wonder about his wife adjusting to life with out him.

But also I find opinion and thoughts of other can be interesting. On facebook I ask a question...Which political idealogy is better? Communism or Nazism. But no one yet voted for Nazism. But I have to wonder if no one actual would admit if they thought nazi was a better way.
I believe I would perfer a socialist as they have in the scandinvain country.
It seem in current political climate it comes down to patrician and plebeians.

No great walk but I mange to walk around my house six times.

Now I Want to.

I had ever intention on doing my Wednesday meme. As some of my reader might know that my husband had shingles on his face.
Well things have change.
At first his shingle was on right side of his face it was pretty much every place except his eyes.
Well Tuesday he was just plain acting goofy or for him, out of sort. So I told him he needed to go to the doctor.
He always said I had common sense.
But since I dealt with our medical bureaucracy. And he real haven't. I would even necessary say it hard to deal with. In simple term you do things there way and you move though it a lot quicker and easier.
So that day he went to the store and one of our friend notice that there was shingle around his eyes, and decided to go over to a optometrist and she looked and said he had shingle in his eye, but not on cornea
Well after work and found him at the doctor and he explain the world seem to be tilted to the right and having trouble with his balance.
So they send him over to our local hospital for some test. They took blood, and did a CT scan, and did a fluid tap.
Well the results they came up with is viral encephalitis post zoster infection, ataxia secondary to viral encephalitis, and paranoia unclear etiology.
He taking a second round of anti viral called, Valtrex (Valacyclovir)
So they want him to go to Neurologist in about two weeks.

Well in other news I did get down below 205 (92) and working on my last 5 (2) before end of the year.
Our weight lost group is doing a contest called "Paper Clip Challenge" I will give a brief summary on how things goes
We're going to divide into two teams. And the object is to earn paper clips for your team. At the end of six weeks and team who has the longest set of paper clip will be winners.
The way one might earn clip would be attend meeting, loose weight, drink water, and exercise.

Things a little off kilter. I got my medication and swear I brought it home and can't find it. Then going to work and since my hubby has trouble with his balance and being limited to what he can and can't do.
Things aren't getting done as they need, but he will be cured.

September Check In

Well I did make my quarter goal of weight lost. My first weigh in of the year was 218 (98) at scales at my home I weigh in at 203 (92)
It last quarter of the year and my goal was to lose 5 pounds, and I will be under 200 (90)


With Murphy and his shingle. Well things got some what set back. Didn't get chance to do much in creative.

I start back up doing You Tube video and thought I would share my walk this morning. But that will be posted at the end of this post
