Pleased As Pie

Weigh in at our local T.O.P.S group. I was down three quarter of pound. Had my fingers cross that I was only going to be up pound and half only. I lost three consecutive weight lost. Couldn't tell you what my weight is.
Our local group is running a "personal goal" til right before Thanksgiving. Each member sign a piece of paper saying...Mine said...."I peppylady will loose 6 pounds or more by November 24, 2015" Those who meet there goal get there name in a drawing for the pot of cash. Each of us had to put in five bucks.

I thought I would post some photo of my walk and I share my day. I was the only one in our group who lost weight this week. I got the weekly award that we pass around to who lost the most weight for week.
Confession time...I felt embarrassed for loosing the most weight week and getting the award. I'm working on worthy of receive an award.

When I was in third grade...I got 100% on a social study test. The teacher said I was not that bright that I had to cheat to get that grade...So I was sent to the principle office. Gave a speech to me about cheating....I went back to the class room....Well when I got to my parents home soon as walk in the door. I got whipping with a belt...From that day forward I usual on propose missed 1 to 5 question on any test or quiz I did.

Eating was on track today. Breakfast steel cut oats with raisin and banana. Lunch once again my four items, candy bar, yogurt, gram cracker, and Kohlrabi. Dinner was a little more heavier, thin cut pork chops, mash potatoes with mushroom gravy, and home can green beans.

Work went well today. Took the COLORAMA BOOKS in. When I saw the television  add when you order the $12.99 they was including crayons, and markers. The only thing we receive is colored pencils.

Help Murphy up grade the window around our place. Put different windows for our kitchen and bedroom.
Now our kitchen window opens.
Pull some siding down from our shed/barn roof. So we can put on the siding in front of our place.

I believe it was Tuesday  I got all my cool and fun items from my secret sisters. Who lives in  MARION OHIO and BELLEVILLE Michigan

6 Week To The Last Harvest

For us Pagan we just celebrate our second harvest and there one more to go. SAMHAIN will be our last harvest season. It time to finish up and place the garden and mother earth to her long winter nap.
Yesterday our local pagan group, Spairfitrea had a celebration of MABON. A ritual giving Thanks to our crops, and our friends.
Also did a mediation using a black bird changing into a human form.
There was nine who all broke bread and two well behave puppy dogs.

Murphy and I kept busy on the home front. We finely got the outside ledge put on. Actual it was well plan out. For most of project it went quite smoothly. Next steps are to put on the rest of the siding and paint it brown.
We starting to get pretty good putting on window wrap and now we won't use it until the windows on the back side of the house is replace.

Murphy and I went out and picked some of the green tomatoes. I would like to try to make some PICKLED GREEN TOMATOES.
When I was young my mom always made PICKLED CRAB APPLES. Not a lot of them. On special occasion we would open a quart jar of pickled crab apples.
So someone gave me some and I want to try canning some up in pints.
Covering a bit of then garden. Peppers and Tomatoes only. "The ghost are on look out in our garden". Forgot to mention the celery.

Someone adopted us. We haven't yet decided on a name. Not sure if it a boy or girl. I was calling it Larry. But like I said we're not sure the sex.
I been thinking calling it boots, socks, Tux or a foreign word for cat.

Mabon I mess up but haven't done worst at other celebration. Forgot my rule of 5 when I go out and eat.
Breakfast was scrambled eggs and these potato bar things. Lunch my four items let see if I can recall them. Cereal Murphy doesn't like, banana, slice of cheese, and my brain isn't bring up the fourth items.
Afternoon snack was half of Minnesota midge melon. Dinner was a ground beef  patty, beets from the garden, rice with soy sauce. and small artichoke.
It wouldn't be honest not to mention the plain popcorn I had just after eating my melon.

Just finish up anther set of two crochet dish clothes. These are turquoise.

Not Enough brain power

Eating been pretty much with common sense. 4 items for lunch. Oh my for naughty food was 4 piece of salt water taffy.
Breakfast steelcut oats with raisin and a banana. 4 items for lunch was a gram cracker sandwich with peanut butter, fruit yogurt, hard boil egg, and yellow tomatoes. When I got home Murphy had him self a tuna sandwich mix and I made my self a half of a sandwich. Then dinner was a simple beef burrito.
Walking is something I need to get back into.

Worried some what about Murphy. He real having trouble getting around. Any length of standing pretty much does him in.
He prime painted some what he calls ledger boards that goes below the 2 new window we put in. The first week of November he can go into the doctor and see what really what wrong with him.
The medicare kicks in.

Garden not doing bad. This morning Murphy did mange to go out pick some radish. Took them over to the neighbor, and I took some to Carrie and Hershel. She can't eat them but he loves them.

There one lonely Zinnia out in the garden.

Daisy usual waits by the garden gate for us to come out.

I haven't yet figure why I keep purchasing craft supplies. I haven't for a little bit. Except for a magazine.
For ages I keep posting about a yard sale I want to have. Actual I need to have one. But in this area no one have a yard sale. There a few shop or garbage sales though out colder months. But these are simple in heated garages and shop.
So we don't have either one. Next best thing for me to is neatly stack my yard sale items in a corner of the basement.
And keep my finger cross for 2016

Some one made me a YARN OCTPUS. Not positive where it came from but I believe I got from a grade school carnival. I went to Broadway elementary school, start in 1966.
I think my octpus had longer arms. But it been years since I even seen it.
I don't believe I every had a SOCK MONKEY. They don't look hard to do.

But some time I wonder. Like purchasing craft stuff. This is to be my future craft and sewing room

Found quite a few crafts I want to try. But no place to crafts until I get my future craft room clean and organized.....Coffee is on

Pee Pads

Older I get I seem to have trouble holding my bladder, it from many issues. Age, over weight, and having children to quickly.
The other day I was in the DOLLAR TREE with liz. One thing I got was bladder pads. 10 for a dollar. That old saying "you get what you pay for" I knew they wasn't of high quality but I thought maybe a little better.
Today I took Carrie down to Courd Alene to see a doctor and the pad didn't hold any urine. So I pee my pants. How embarrasses I was.

Carrie appointment went well. She was looking forward of having hip replacement and the doctor said she had some type of hip bursitis.
Gave her some physical therapy, continue on with the steroid shots, loose some weight, and told her to walk. and get off the pain pills.
Opinion time.... Pain pills and steroid have there place. But I don't think they should be use long term.
I have to respect this doctor who wasn't trying to get her in surgery that wasn't necessary. And bill Medicare and Medicaid.

Well we stop at Winco and got a few items. I was planning on five but got a craft magazine. Winco got some great deal and they treat there employees fair.
Breakfast was an omelet with hand held hash brown. Lunch was fairly late after doctor and winco. I had a bacon cheese burger for the cheap menu, and a small onion ring. And got a small pumpkin spice milk shake. I took most of it and spill it on pick up seat. That one way of cutting down calories.
Dinner was at home bake potato with butter, beets out of the garden, and steak.

It Been While Since I Stop By.

I haven't had a chance or haven't found the time to visit any other bloggers. But I can't say I have every complete anything recently.
I ask Murphy if next week we could find a spot in our basement to neatly and tightly put our yard sale items. Since it doesn't look like we going to have one this year.
And I could add more to it.

Had the day off today so I help put together a ledger board below the two new window we put in.
Tomorrow I'm taking Carrie to PostFalls to see a doctor about having a hip replacement.

Once I ask a Mormon why they keep Journal and the two most popular answer among them was to RECORD HISTORY and one why of dealing with EMOTIONAL HEALTH
I never keep or RECORDING  of any type and was always afraid someone would find it, mostly my dad.

The Pope "Francis" came the United States. Opinion time...He rocks. He speaks about a lot issue. About treating human right.
But the biggest issue with the Catholic and steps they need to do is...either let Priest marry or let woman be come priest.
They could understand the people in Parish if they had experience dealing with a family on daily bases.

Do They Even Know Better

My last post I talk about possible getting more hours. Because is something happen to Murphy my house income would be about $960 a month. I could handle the basic bill. But with life turn and a little opps on the way. I would like to bring my income up by $240 and still wouldn't have to put in a forty hour work week.
I guess I'm lazy.

Today I took Liz to see her shrink and he gave her basically "downers" don't recall which one. Well we got back to Bonners Ferry.
So I took both,  her son Paul to her ex brother in law Regis. Liz stop in at pharmacy to pick up her prescription.
As soon as she got to her brother in law they start to smash them up and begin to snort it.
Not long ago Regis had his in home care review. My friend Lawalla was there that day. Right in front of the nurse, Regis smash up his Morphine and snorts it.

So I went over to Safeway and did a little bit of help. Some all three of them was at Safeway purchasing items.
A little later I saw Liz and Regis walking back to Safeway. I ask them if they need a ride. I took them over to the store.
There was some issue with there broccoli and Liz held up Regis and said walk was to much stress on him and if they could get a $20 gift card for his pain and suffering. They gave him $10 one instead.

If I haven't gave them a ride. Walking twice to Safeway would have really done him in.

Just Finish and Then Starting

Just finish up my two purple dish cloth I been crochet. Now just started a turquoise ones. Each pair I try to a little different stitching. This one is posse to have an X look to it. But at this point I can
see little flowers forming.,
Placing two double crochet in one stitch and every other one.
I got more cotton yarn and for the life of me I can't find it.

After I got done with work Murphy and I went and to some harvesting of gardening. Picked some peppers, tomatoes, and cantaloupe.
Did up the dishes.
Murphy is still having trouble with his back.

Not saying my husband have a terrible disease. I was looking out for a possible raining day. At our present time I work a little over 24 hours a week and take home every other week. $528 and Murphy Social Security check is $780 a month. But since I'm under 60 and if something happen to him. I can't get benefits of any sort. And that the way life is.
I figure to make ends met I would have to add anther 10 hours a week, total of 34 hours.
It doesn't mean I'll have to take on anyone who treats me like crap. So I'll keep my ears and eye open for a little more time.

Now for news about my offsprings. Sawyer and Betty just got back from a two week holiday. One week they visited the east coast of the united states. The New England States. The off to Iceland drove around the entire Island.
I promise Bart and Molly I wouldn't let the cat out of the bag. Finely they gave me permission. I'm going to be a "Grandma" it due March 27th. But babies come when there ready.
Sunday Bart and Molly is taking off to Maui for not quite two weeks.

I had my ancestry DNA done. I was told that my dad mother Elise family was French and Indian. Well there no Indian or French.
My results are as fellow...39% Great Britain, 34% Western Europe, 14% Irish, 7% Iberian peninsula, 4% Scandinavia, 2% Italy/Grece, and trace regional 6%

Almost Half Time.

2015 summer time goal was to put in two windows on the west side bedrooms. Add deck to our sliding glass door and have a yard sale.
Well complete half of them, windows. But still have to put up the trim and siding.
Our kitchen window, and Murphy and my bedroom window needs to be replace.
Murphy mention about replacing our basement window. Not even sure what that will take.
I don't see completing the yard sale this year or the deck. Our other window isn't all that bad. Maybe in 2016 I can do the yard sale and get the deck in.

Several reason I want to have a yard sale. Is to make the small bedroom in to a sewing/craft room. Get rid of the stuff in the shed/barn. There items I know of that would be useful. But quite a bit is in dis-ray. Actual clutter drives me nut...Confession time....My home is a fairly clutter not dirty and it and embarrassment to me

The medicaid nurse showed up and re-cert Carrie. There was a problem with her miles so I'm getting my hours cut a least by 2 hour. Possible less.
The 24th she going to see about getting a hip replacement. If they do surgery them my hours will go back up and even some more.
Confession time...I would like to see medicaid set up a different, that it would actual benefit client.
I been clued in or figure to keep my job and make the agency money. I don't want or need my client to improve. Or get so bad that they end up in a nursing home.
Just receive we got our first half bonus. Mine was just a little over $500 and I'll be paying the second half of our property taxes.
Someone bought up about getting a raise. It been three years since we got anything.
I was trying to find what the agency get paid from medicaid in Idaho. No luck. All the agency around here pays under $8.50.
A lease Idaho Partners In Care a lease respect there workers and pays above $10 and hour.
Opinion Time...They need laws about EXPLOITING workers. I under stand that some small business owner has a small profit margin. But when a C.E.O or the owner of business is making 500 times what his or her average employee makes. There something wrong with this picture in my book.

Don't think I been gaining and loosing any weight. Steak for dinner, carrot we can up this summer, and oven fries.
Heinz came out and help with window. Also his step grandson Kelbey came too. So I had him carry our bedroom air cooler into the basement, chop some wood, and help with the window.

Finely got the ideal to Murphy that we can hire a little bit of help. I told him we can spend up to $250 this year at $10 and hour. To save the wear and tear on his back. At this point we spend $60 on labor.
Not sure what going on with his back. We're waiting for medicare to kick in the first part of November.
He taking hydrocodone and I got my fingers cross that they will do one more refill. I know this prescription won't last until his medicare kicks in. Don't want to pay for anther office call.
Got my fingers cross for one more refill. and then we can get x ray and what every else we need.
I'm worried about his back.
At one not long ago he could lift his right leg off the floor as he was laying down. Though exercise he can get his right leg off the ground

My Mind is Drawing A Big Zero

Not even sure what to post about. Work wasn't all that bad to day and for some odd reason I'm drawing a blank what went on.
I  know I took Carrie to the food bank, a yard sale she got a baking dish, and I took her to her counseling.

Wrote a letter to a pen pal who lives in CHRISTAINBURG VIRGINIA. Did a little bit of crocheting on a dish cloth, and cut some fabric strips for a rag rug.

I guess I did something.....Coffee is on

Should I Even Say Any Thing

Still trying to figure out who my great great grand father “John Shirley” dad is. Not sure when he came over to the United States, from Ireland. I'm guessing he might have been part of POTATO FAMINE  of Ireland.

As for weight lost this week. Down a ¼ a pound. I was only one that lost this week in my weight lost group of T.O.P.S.
My down fall was the mess up zucchini chips I made, way to much oil. Anyhow they got toss out. Talking with other who dehydrated some zucchini, they just sliced it , season it and dried it.
Murphy dried some bell peppers.
Eating went well also.

I sign up for anther facebook group. Actual I should go though some of them which I haven't use for a while.

All of my items I picked up at our local thrift stores. The glasses I got tangled in a necklace and I'm betting that my client Regis can figure how to take it a part.

I didn't want to spend a bunch on fabric to see if I like LOCKER HOOKING Not sure if I have enough fabric on not. Honestly I got my doubt but I will keep my eyes on good deals usual at thrift stores.

Something That Happen In Summer Won't Happen Later

I receive my gift of a mini wreath from THE WICCA LIFE and I'm using it part of my Mabon altar. Mabon is celebration of Autumn.
The harvest. The harvest this year been a little ruff for some. Not much rain a lot of hot sun.

Was I disappointed in this summer. Confession time....I real want to have a yard sale. It sure looks like it isn't going to happen, this year.

We did mange to get one of our new windows in. The other one had some defected and had to take it back to Home Depot. Not a lick of trouble of returning it.
So unless it rain or snow we won't be putting in window next weekend.

Murphy back is real giving him issues. He loves to go in Mountain and get fire wood. I believe part of his soul been broke and he won't be able to get the firewood for the home.
Not sure what we will do.
If we get it, actual it cost us around $30. To purchase red fire or larch it runs about $140 a cord.
As I was saying we got a new window in.
We hired Quincy son Kelby to split fire wood. Which help and Murphy now see where it helps.
In my line work as in home care giver. I seen to many people are to proud or cheap to get help.
Long story short. They end up in a lot worst shape. They should of got help...A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
I like to budget about $220 worth of help around here, for the rest of the year.

When summer comes to and end, yard sale season takes a long winter nap. I want a craft room a place to do my craft.
I know most likely a yard sale isn't going to happen. I'm trying to figure where I could store my items in our basement. With finger cross and my lucky rabbit foot every so present.
Possible next year, 2016 I will have a yard sale.
Maybe if I find a place put the crap in basement. I might get a chance to set up a craft room in a small bedroom.
Confession time....I'm tired of using our dinning room table as a craft area...put up, take down what every your working on. I'm sick of it.

Today SPAIRFITERA had there monthly coffee and chat. We change it up a bit. In past we was having it at Chic N Chop.
We was put in the corner where no one could see us. Where naughty little people goes and to be isolated from rest of the world.
Having it at “Super One” in BONNERS FERRY Seem to have a lot more friendly energy
I could tell you all what we talk about a little this and little of that. Our bull section is first Saturday after the new moon. So our October coffee and chat will be Saturday October 17th since Wednesday before is the new moon.

My Rant Just Clears The Air

My last post and that was yesterday was on how the one percent is EXPLOITING WORKERS. I guess people are just lock into there little game. Confession time...I also let them exploit me for all sort of basic reason.

A few of our trees are starting to change a bit. But still fairly nice weather. Could use some rain still.
The Forrest service drop the fire rating to Very High from Extreme. Not sure if you can cut fire wood or not.
We still got quite a bit of fire wood and Murphy back is giving him quite a bit of trouble. It makes him sad that he might not be gathering fire wood this year.

West of us they been logging. Haven't drove out and check it out. Not sure if government land either state of federal. Might even be private.
From my place it looks like a clear cut. Since I can see large slabs of boulders, not to worried about land slides.
No one really knows until they drive up and take a look.

Dehydrating some zucchini and it sure have a high containment of WATER. I didn't know what to season them with. So I tried half with plain table salt and the other half with my friend Alice Zesty blend, also with salt.
Not sure when it will be ready. Had sample and I was surprise how sweet it actual is.

As for eating no "JUNK FOOD" for me today. Breakfast was pretty simple raisin bran, favor cereal and a slice banana.
Mid morning snack some tapioca pudding. Yes, I can recall my mother telling me it was "fish eggs".
Lunch I kept to four items. left over ribs from yesterday, artichokes, radish, and toast with butter.
Dinner was one burrito usual I have quite a few veggies but not this time around.

Did a little bit of genealogy on my Great Grandfather "Charles Shirley" brother who is the next child older then he. His name is "Lindford" I was hoping to find a photo of him, no luck so far.
Haven't heard that name before. He was born in Pennsylvania and died there. His wife name is Marrian and she was called "Mammie". They had a girl and boy.
Not sure where the name "Lindford" comes from. But there is a village of LINDFORD ENGLAND

Do I Sound Angry About Working

Before I actual move on about the working as I see it present time. I usual blog when I get home from work.
Today I'm going start work around 1:30 this afternoon or so. One of my client has an doctor appointment in Sandpoint at 4:30.
So as for eating breakfast some eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Lunch will be 4 items and it will be eaten here. Dinner not all that healthy I'll be having Pizza simple because unknown time I will be home. We can always add a salad with it. Plenty of greens from the gardens still.

I was getting out of high school when RONALD REAGAN got into office. I can recall him on television holding up a news paper pointing to the want ads, saying "There plenty of work" But I don't recall him every mention about the wages any of these jobs paid. Well Reagan start to break down the MIDDLE CLASS.
I found out Idaho, it middle class is between $31,189 to $93,566 dollars. I know only a few retires that makes that income, but they sure didn't earn it here. Usual they had a union job and move here later.
I got out the calculator and my average wage is 11.78 an hour. So if I actual worked a 40 hour week I would make in a year is $22,617 and I never figure the taxes out.
Well with Reagan breaking up UNIONS is down fall of the middle class.

In the early 80's LOUISIANA PACIFIC a local sawmill located in Moyie Spring went on strike. Long story short, union got broke.
In early 80's a mill worker made around $10.00 an hour. I know a mill worker now is making $12.00 with no benefits such as health insurance or retirement. Basic math tells me that not even a dime in wage increase per year.
I know. Who are still stupid is the "far right thinking". At that time thought was getting rid of the union, and the employees would be treated fairly.

Now the big thing here is contract, freelance, and 1099 workers. When I use these terms it doesn't mean your sitting your own wage or what your willing to do a job for.
Actual an employer can hire you at minimum wage of $7.25. It might sound all good working with out paying taxes.
At the end of the year you have to pay both end of social security  which is 15.3% and actual if there only going to pay you minimum wage you would actual be making $6.14 and hour. Well, then there possible both state and federal income taxes.
Recently a friend of friend of mind got hired as a temporary worker though a temp agency. Guess what she got injured. Boxes fell on her, and no one responsible for her getting hurt on the job. "Honey there no workman comp" so something like this your choices is to sue the hell of the company. If injury is so bad hope you have enough hours and made enough money, in your working life time, That you can draw SSD at a decent monthly check.
On my job I'm a contract worker and working under a schedule K-1 form 1065.

Last few years I've done in home care and so many ways it a joke. This is how in home care work if your low income. You make a request for a medicaid nurse come to your home to see if you could use any "In home care"
They ask you such question as "Do you have any mobility deceive" "Can you stand and cook" "Are you eating" and so forth.
They have a scoring system and every unit here in Idaho is worth 15 minutes. And usual the nurse comes up with a fair amount of hours to take care of the people needs.
What hurt both client and care giver if some one who needs care and mileage isn't considered. There people who lives so far out. One needs to drive well over 20 miles and they only get 2 hours a week.
Who in there right mind is going to drive 20 miles and not even make $20.
Confession time....This is worst part of my job...it not set up to actual help the clients get better....I'm actual keep or add hours to my job if my client deteriorate or stay the same...
The in home agency coaches us what to do during the yearly visit with the medicaid nurse. Have no friends or family in that day, so looks like they have no other support that day. Don't get up during the interview and ask your caregiver for something, so the nurse can see your helpless. If you need to get up and go to the bathroom, use your mobility device and make sure you don't walk normal. And last one I can think of. If you have a diabetic client make sure there numbers average out a little on the high side, last six weeks before the interview.
The agency are paid though medicaid and funded by taxes. There no control of what the agency pays the "field workers" Last time I heard the agency in Idaho get a little over $20 and hour per client and some only pays out $7.25. But most agency around here pays between $8.00 and $8.50 and hour.
I won't go much into it because I under stand there some changes coming, on over time pay. Once your assign your hours, and you if you go over your assign hours you don't get paid. But if your done early, but they won't pay you up to your assign hours.

I haven't figure why the United States doesn't have better exploitation laws for labor. CEO wages continues to raise. As for there employees it pretty much becomes less or stagnate.
Not picking on Wal mart but it pretty bad when some goes to work and gets FOOD STAMPS. And you know there CEO of wal mart makes well over 500 times (#7 on list) more then there employers.

There a few things need to be done....Don't support business or try not to purchase anything from business who exploit there workers. Know C.E.O needs be making over 125 times there employees base pay. So if a company is willing to pay there employee minimum wage of $7.25 and hour. The C.E.O shouldn't be making more then $906.25 an hour. .I understand most place like this hires more then one employees
Crap, how many jets does one CEO needs.
I buy very little out of Wal mart simple because of them exploiting there workers.
Bitch and complain about employers who are exploiting others. By posting on social media. Vote for candidates who policy benefits labor.

If you think letting the free market or out of control Capitalism is going to play fair. I got news for you....If you think peanuts being toss to you is hard life. Forget that they'll be tossing you crumbs and some floor dusting. And we all be living in OLIGARCHY and counting our blessing for a few crumbs.

Do any of your really want this?

I'll Just Keep It Safe

Weigh in at T.O.P.S this morning and I was the only one lost weight. An entire half pound. On the T..O.P.S scale I weighed in at 214.50 pounds.
Actual my goal was to be at 214.25. But I did loose.

Went of a walk and thought I would post photo randomly around.

Before weight lost support group I put a few of our local earth base fliers. We're having coffee and chat. This up coming Sunday at one in afternoon.
As for breakfast I had a bowl of cooked steel cut oats with no milk, raisin, and sliced pears. The grey building is Eagle club. I was standing between Mountain West bank and Riverside Auto Sale....This place listen to Rush Limbaugh. It was loud enough I could here it as I was taking my walk.

After my meeting I went and had coffee with Qunella and after my walk I ran into my cousin Ashley and we haven't visited.
Nothing important was talk about. Her brother Randy is in Idaho state penitentiary and she is still up sit with him. Because of his crap he pulled that there parents lost everything...Randy scam his family or they wouldn't pull there head out of the sand.
Confession time...I use to think it was awful when someone wouldn't forgive anther person. Well I have to say I haven't truly forgave my Aunt Eve over the 1099.
So I guess Ashley has every right not to forgive her brother.
I'm not even sure if I even forgave my brother in law Earl. So glad he lives in Wyoming. Statement time....I can't stand a lair and or a scammer.  Usual they go hand and hand. I never knew my brother in law Earl to be a scammer.
But  my Aunt Eve, and Cousin Randy are both scammers and lairs.
This sign been like this for ages. The road goes to local fairgrounds and tracks above belong to the union pacific railroad.

Last leg of the walk before I headed back. I was in the fairground parking lot and got picture of the grainier
For lunch I had some fish, cottage cheese with strawberry, artichoke, and banana.
When I got home I had some broke up cookies that I bag up for a snack.  Dinner was a ground beef patty, a little bit of oven fries, and nice green salad with pomegranate dressing.

Worked at Regis today. It been so nice and quite with out Pasty, no drama. We went to liberty gas station and he got his self some rolling papers, Then we went over over to the community thrift store. I even found my self two skirts, and a blouse, usual I have a hard time finding tops to fit correctly. Since I'm so big in bust, cup size H and not all that big in the shoulders. Finding tops can be a real pain. And also found an purple scarf.

I was going to post something on labor and workers. But hopeful tomorrow I can get the chance to. I don't start work until later in the day.
Carrie needs to be down in Sandpoint at 4:30 in the afternoon tomorrow.

Never Know How Ones Day... Will End Up Being

Not sure how I would grade my self on my eating yesterday. We met some friends down at HOOT OWL one of those all American cafe that serves mainly comfort food.
Such large portion I split mine in half and had the other half for lunch.
Bart and Molly was up with his in-law. Bart and his father in law Paul hiked up on Clifty Mountain which you can see the entire kootenai valley.
After they came down from there hike. We all went to MI PUBELO and ate. I keep mine down to one enchilada. First time there and lot of local say how good it is and at reason price.
They was all telling the truth.

Before work I had 2 strips of bacon, potatoes with one egg. Even got in my morning walk today.
Lunch was a little more difficult. I took my four items with me and I don't like to eat at my client home in front of them.
So I ate part of it driving home and finish the rest of it at home. Confession time...my client Carrie had some Taffy and I got a little carried away. Dinner I know it will consist of chicken legs, I believe is beets and not sure of what type of starch.
If it early enough which is before seven I might have a banana Popsicle.

I was going to post the five fliers I made for our coffee gathering for our local “Earth Base Faith” but I couldn't find them this morning. Had to get to work but found them when I got home. This time I was smart and put them in my car.

Question time....Have you every misplace something? At this time I made an ATC (Artist trading card) which I'm planning to but in a small letter writing kit that I'm giving away thought a group of crafters pen pals I belong to.

I did find it, the ATC card. Almost ready to be shipped.
Start to make anther dish cloth as you can see it purple. The stitches I'm doing on this one is half double using back loops.

Labor day and not much on the news. I don't think “workers” get much dignity

It pretty sad that people who works over a 30 hour week can qualify for government aid.

No Crocus In Fall For Me

Murphy and I went up to see our friend Quenella up our Katka. She showed us around her gardens. One of the things I admire was her sunflowers. We didn't grow any. Maybe in 2016 we will.
Her green beans didn't do at all.

She has quite a few fall crocus clumps. Visit for little over and hour. Told me about her son Murphen trouble with his first ex wife.
It seem like she likes to use there son to get even with Murphen
Plus she gather up quite a few bedding. For all the years I known her they always found a family to help out.

This year I got the Hope House and local food bank. I'm strongly considering helping out two of Alice Grandchildern. Jarret and Aaron for next year.

After Quenella we went up to our Property on the bench to check out our fruit trees. Nothing got water by the rain. Only way things got water this summer was by a garden hose.
The only tree that barred fruit was our Italian Prune.
By the look of things we are either going to can them in pints or dry them but not both.

As for becoming healthier. It was an ok day. Lunch was little better then yesterday because a little more thought went in to it. Ice cream cone and a shrimp burrito with plenty of veggies.
Dinner was the best. Some one gave us some blue back or known as KOKANEE, land lock salmon. My uncle Bossco use to fish for them and smoked it.
I might as well confess...I finish up the pear pie only one large piece left. Not going to post about what I should of done.

Today I wrote out two cards for my pen pals. Both of the cards are going over seas. And I put a few stickers in each card

I bought this card from UNDER THE SUN and this card is going to KENT ENGLAND

My next card is heading off to SOUTH WALES a place called "Fleur De Lis"  I believe this card I got at SANDPOINT SUPER DRUG I like this one it reminds me when I was young and starting grade school. I wore paisley jumpers.

My next two cards and one Slamm will be going to BOISE and OLSVIK

Still working on the Shirley side. My mothers mothers family. At this time I'm gathering info on my Great Grand father "Charles Shirley" siblings. It looks like his parents John and Hannah "Ross" Shirley had 10 children.

This Hannah Shirley, called Annie born in Pennsylvania on Feb 1862 the civil war was going on. She died April 28, 1935
Married to Tom Hurley. As far as I can see they had two children a boy and girl.

Annie was a member of Children Missionary Society but not sure though which religious organization. Looks like the next older Sister Clara and brother in law Tom are Quakers.
