So Glad I'm Not Cruel Human

July is coming up. Not sure if I did one in May. If you want to head over to MY BLUE MIX .short instruction on how to use the site...some time ago I believe a few comment on they couldn't figure how to use it..click on “body of text”....click on “own text” put in your own text...then click “analyze”...and it should tell you your personality.
But I did one for June....

You are unaggressive and sentimental.
You are empathetic: you feel what others feel and are compassionate towards them. You are uncompromising: you think it is wrong to take advantage of others to get ahead. And you are calm-seeking: you prefer activities that are quiet, calm, and safe.
You are motivated to seek out experiences that provide a strong feeling of well-being.
You consider helping others to guide a large part of what you do: you think it is important to take care of the people around you. You are relatively unconcerned with tradition: you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.....

Took Regis down to Sandpoint to see his psychiatrist and which is fairly routine, unless something comes up.
As he was in there I drove back to Walmart and got some oil, and few items for my swap once month I swap with some people, and this time my items are going to NEW ZEALAND I know I want to send our two local papers.
But I know I want to keep the weight down. Shipping over seas can make one jaw drop.

Talking about New Zealand my son Sawyer and his wife Betty this fall is planning to visit New Zealand and Australia.

Something my daughter law posted and it probably non of my business. Since I pretty much discuss with who every reads my post.
She did a posting that she isn't able to have children. Reason I don't know. But she seem broken heart. There pets are there children.
I've always thought it was a poor reason to have children to make your parents grandparents. I told both of children when your ready to be parents I will be glad to be a “Grandma”
If the opportunity comes up. Also they would have to bring up subject of not having children before I would say something.
Question time...Do you feel under the situation above would it be ok to say something like “Adoption is something you might want to consider and I would be glad to be Grandma...I would love all my grandchildren doesn't matter how they arrive.

I notice finely they brought some hay equipment over. Not hay expert but I believe the hay back should have been cut a while ago.
The tips of grass is pretty golden brown when it blow in the wind it looks like is swaying with a beat of harmony.
Murpy and I cut up and froze more Strawberries before I went to work.

Before it got to hot. And it got up to 96 (35.5) late afternoon. So early this morning I got my walk in.
Eating was a bit off.
We want to get the berries done.
Breakfast was bit late around 8:30 or 9:00. We usual eat about 7:00 in morning.
For a minute my mind went blank on what I had for breakfast.
2 hot dogs, and pork n beans.
Before I left I had some cottage cheese with slice strawberries
As I was out and about I had jack pepper cheese stick and piece of jerky.
Dinner a green salad with no dressing, and 2 slice of pizza.
It was long hard day at work and I didn't want to deal with shopping.
I don't eat after 7 evening and just finishing up a Yogurt. Coffee flavor which I enjoyed.

A lease the dog “Daisy” is glad to see me when I come home. Maybe not first thing she does is look at her ball and see if I'm going to toss them.
I won't in this heat. If it get down in the 70's (21.1) I will play fetch with her.

I Got Read To

Today is first time for me to try WORDS FOR WEDNESDAY over at DRIFTING THOUGH LIFE I'm giving two set of word to choose from...I'm choosing these words...Virus, Business, Instrument, Special, Complex, and Super human.

I met my friend Quenella and she and I been friend since the early 90's. So today I met her at UNDER THE SUN for some coffee and I also had some GELATO Took in my lap top and she want to change her home page for her non profit business her peace garden. Don't know what I'm doing wrong but I seem that I can't change her page at moment. But once I get it I will leave a link. But I refuse to let it get to me and pull out my hair in frustration. Haven't had a virus for a while and sure don't need one on scalp.

All the fur friends are now sprayed for fleas. It seem our dog “Daisy” has something look like a ZIT  but I'm going to let nature run it course.
Anyhow Daisy easily traumatize. She likes a very simple routine and nothing to complex.

Notice I didn't have any ceramic ornaments cast up. Since I'm casting by hand not with my pour table. Actual it been a while since my casting table been operable. There clay dried in holding tank and not even sure the motor is running or not.
At present time I just retrieve some old dried slip and add water so it becomes moist and mix it with paint stir on a drill.
It ok for some piece but other not.
So the instrument I use is a syringe but with no needle.
Have hunch the slip I use was little thick.
Anyhow when we had shop and I use to challenge my self when I was casting. Most of time we got over 95% turn out rate.
Now if this around and I get half I'll consider my self as superhuman

This morning got up super early so I could get out before the heat sat in. Above 90 (32). Murphy and I went and picked strawberries. I would guess we got something like 3 to 4 gallon.(3.74 to 7.57) liters.
I suggest to Murphy we make wine.
No wine kit. There plenty of strawberries in our freezer and raspberries are starting to come on.
Plus the beets. We want to do up some pickled beets and can up raspberries in pints. I per-fur can raspberries over frozen ones.

Eating went ok and even got a walk in after the sun drifts below the SELKIRK range. Breakfast fried potatoes with no eggs. Although had ketchup with the potatoes and links.
Lunch I tried to watch or cut back since I know I was going to get some Gelato. But I had one hot dog and yogurt
Dinner your basic hamburger, corn cob, and cottage cheese.
I couldn't finish my dinner.
Maybe later on I'll have some shortcake.

It been a while since I post any photo and I thought you might want to see some. Quite a few of them is from our family reunion just before Fathers Day.
I know the photos aren't necessary matching up to the postings.

The way Qunella and I do her pages she reads and I type. Not sure if I feel special or not. But it been a while since anyone read to me.

Up and Down

Didn't get a chance to post yesterday. More or less worked a swing shift and missed dark shadows. Hopeful they'll run it again in bit.

Weigh in at our T.O.P.S I was shocked I was up, only ½ pound. But up. I know we just got back from state gathering. But I'm tired of talking about it, and it time to move on.
I'll be doing the next contest in our group.
Here is how the contest will work.
It will last 8 weeks. Everyone will put a dollar in pot. I believe we have 15 members. But the one who loose the most weight for week and the one with highest point for week, will put .50¢
The way one can earn points is to these healthy task.
All of these task are worth one point....Keep Journal, Health Breakfast, Health Lunch, Health Dinner, Portion Control (1 point for each meal), and, just being you, and these two are open points....for every 12 oz of water you drink and for every 15 minutes of physical activity 1 point.
Then on Tuesday if you weigh in 1 point, but if you loose or maintain 2 points, and also stay for meeting 2 pts.
Usual we give it a test run to see how it works and take out any kinks.
Actual at end of the 8 weeks, any K.O.P.S or make status will receive 5 bonus points, and so will anyone who loose 5 pounds.
The pot will be split for biggest weight lost and highest points.

Only one naughty snack a cookie at Regis, Even when I was walking though Super One I was thinking what sort of goodies I could purchase. But didn't.
Breakfast bowl of grapenuts and strawberries
Lunch cheese and onion sandwich, banana, and tapioca pudding.
Dinner barbecue ribs, fresh beets out of our garden, and bake potatoes.

Had milk on cereal, butter on potatoes

Just finish going though anther section of Philadelphia in 1850 census, Frankfort area. Now starting to go though GERMANTOWN My 2nd great grandfather worked in shoe manufacturing. About 1850 the way SHOES were made changed.

One thing I notice this year around the area lot of dogs and cats are covered with fleas. Couldn't fine fleas powder, so I bought a spray.
When I was in Safeway. Starbuck was offering sample of dessert and I walk on by.
Confession time...I sure want to turn around and have a goodie.

Friedy Cat

I just don't under stand why since who actual can recall. We been afraid of lot of things and which divided us as a country.
Although President Franklin Said it best “The only thing we have to fear is fear it self”

I don't see why it push to make everyone toward AGORAPHOBIA

Decided to make Sunday posting quite light no more politics and maybe a little light Spirituality.

Stay around and did a few things around the place. I been yawning most of the day not sure why I feel tired.
One load of wash done, dry and put away.
Scrub down the bath room sink and tub. The tub if someone else did it like I did. I would be calling it on them.
So I need go back and re-due it.
Tried a new home make cleaners. Vinegar and salt made in paste. It didn't do bad. In the vinegar I put a few drops of lavender.
Hoed some on south side of house. Murphy trim up the french tarragon plant.

Murphy and I went to town to get a few things from the store. We had lunch at the Deli I had Mexican casserole, and he couple of chicken strip.
Since I'm talking about food I might as well posted it now.
Breakfast pancake add a banana to batter, and 2 ½ links with peanut butter and sugar free syrup.
Dinner hamburger and kidney beans. Actual this time burger isn't sitting in my stomach like a piece of lead.
Strawberry short cake shortly before seven.

We been getting a real good picking of strawberries and stop in at Quincy and see if she want the next picking. So she can come out Monday or Tuesday

Murphy been enjoying adventure of SUPER MAN on DECADES Tomorrow there showing the Gothic Soap Opera DARK SHADOW This show use to scare me. It was biggest rave when was starting Grade School. When I was over at my friends I would force my self not to shut my eyes during when the vampire did something.

Not To Much Of One Thing

I might as well piss some of you by posting some thing about politics and election. Right now it looks like it going to be a run off between CLINTON and TRUMP and not impress by either one.
Neither one been president of the united states.
Statement time...If I vote for Candidate Clinton is simple I'm trying to stop Trump. but I would rather see BERNIE SANDERS or JILL STEIN in the oval office.
It sad to see our elected official bought and sold by bid money donars. I don't see many of them representing the needs of every day people.
It seem they catered to those with a lease 6 figure income. Not my husband and I who have a 5 figure income.
I haven't live under a DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM and I know everything has it advantage and disadvantage.
Opinion time...our CAPITALISM is out of control. The wealth is control by a SMALL PERCENTAGE of the populatin
Don't believe I want to live under COMMUNISM but I can understand when any place leans towards OLIGARCHY that something is done, like RUSSIAN REVOLUTION was done in 1917.
I don't want or need a lot. Actual I think everyone should want to contribute to our earth. No free ride for this gal or anyone else.
Something else for anther day. Time to move on.

I move my steps ticker, above. During the week I average out 6.908 not quite 7,000 steps. My goal by end of July is to be averaging 35,000 steps..
I think I took on to much to chew.
I know I weigh around 220 but not sure. I forgot to write what I weigh in at our last T.O.P.S meeting.
by end of Sept my goal is to be 205. So every week I need to drop .75 to 1.0 pound a week.

So glad either one my clients want to go to Library in Sandpoint. Took Regis home he spend couple of days with his Sister law Liz.
So I swung by my friend Alice to Apologized for missing her appointment, last Thursday. She was at a craft show in NEW PORT WASHINGTON.
Stop in at our library with out my reading glasses. Got a book called RETURN TO THE BOSQUE. Got a late start on our community summer reading program. Our community of about 10,000 sat goal to read 6,000 books. The summer of 2015 our community read 5,788 books in 6 weeks.
It use to be just younger children. Now it open to the entire community. Of course prizes are given away to younger ones.
As we were trying to cook dinner none of the burners on gas stove would light. Usual there is a clicking sound, and nothing.
Had to light the stove with matches.

Breakfast angel food cake with strawberries
Lunch pulled pork, green beans, and biscuits with butter.
Dinner ground beef gravy over potatoes
Snack kipper snack and dark chocolate bar with ginger.

I wasn't going to post but decided to. Still looking though the 1850 county of Philadelphia looking for my 2nd great grand parents. John Shirley and his wife Hannah (Ross) Shirley.
If your wondering why I'm looking at that year, and what I possible my learn.
John and Hannah got married in Philadelphia the 2nd of March in 1849.
So the 1850 census would be the first census they took as couple.
Usual a young couple very rarely start out on the own. Unless they came from very wealthy family.
In those time a young married couple would live with an older relative. So they can get there feet under them self before they move on
I know Hannah parents both died and a her only sister Elizabeth died before she every married.
Sort of INDENTURED SERVANT.
Possible help on farm for few years instead of money. A relative may give the couple some land and set up a few building and etc so they can start farming.
One who live in a City and there family who they was living, could possible work in a factory and could be an apprentice to some trade.
John manufacturer shoes and he had to learn how to make shoes some place.

Up and Down Not Sure How This Will End

Both my clients want to go in to Sandpoint. I have a few things I need to take of. I'm bring a couple of letters to write. One going to Colorado and the other to Australia.
I know we will go to the library down there and to the good will. Liz can really go though the thrift store, with fine tooth comb.
Odds are this will give me some time to write my letters.
It seem so strange I'm starting basically at noon my time. The swing shift but it won't be 8 hours. Liz have 3 hours remaining for the week, and Regis has 4.25 for week.

Ended up coming home early the only one of my client want to go to Sandpoint was Erik and Liz didn't want to go.
Well not going into details those two play head games with each other. For a set of ex in laws they get a long pretty good.

Been having a little trouble with my anxiety. Sort of feel like I'm a basket case and worrying about the new law here and I Idaho about the open and carry. One doesn't need a permit to own a gun.
Maybe I'm wrong but I think quite a few people will be packing a weapon.
In my own mind I keep wondering if I can handle going to town of the first of July.
Law has pass and nothing I can do about it.

Murphy and I froze up more strawberries.
So far quite please with MAGICJACK the first year it will cost us a little over $8.00 a month. Instead of our $40 a month for our land line.
We had the same number since 2000 and want to transfer it. But everything have a learning curve and I should of transfer our old number before I had disconnected

Did ok in eating but it was stuggle. Hopeful a walk in bit will unwind me.

Recalling Those Number

It was kindergarten there was certain thing we had to learn your address, mine was 11011 E Cataldo in the Spokane Valley.
and we also had to learn the valley fire and the sheriff office. Before they were any 911. And of course our home number.
But when I first learn my phone number it was WAlnut 6 2495. I can't recall all the prefixes but I do recall two of them in city of Spokane MAdison, and HUdson.
They drop the word and went to the first two letter and soon our number was Wa 6 2495. By the time I was in high school and possible Jr High our number was 296-2495.

As I'm talking about numbers. There one lady who claims to were a size 10, in weight lost group. I'm the assistant weight recorder. Anther lady and I weigh our members.
This lady is a little lighter then me. Not even five pounds.
I wore a size 10 to 12 in high school. Depending on the cut of clothes. My weight was about 130.
Let me tell you something I don't wear a size 10 or 12.
Actual I'm more like 1X or down to a lg, once again depending on the cut and style.

Never know what I will be doing with my client. At first Regis was wanting to go to the LIBRARY in Sandpoint.
and the one in BONNERS FERRY.
Not sure what happen he didn't look good and he said he was feeling a little rough.
So I suggested he rest and we could go to library on Friday instead.
Question time....Do you remember summer reading program at your local library? I actual do and miss doing them and thought they was fun.
Not sure if adult could join a summer reading program at a local library or not.

I guess this is a good enough place to put this. Liz my client said she went to our local LDS (Latter Day Saints) Mormons.
Actual I've gotten along with the Mormons. Been told and not sure if it true or not. The ones in Southern Idaho and Utah have complete different Attitude.
I know a few Mormons who went south and end up quitting the church.
Got that out of the way. Now to point.
She was saying quite a few people had there side arm (gun) strap on. When you see someone carrying a gun Question time...how do you feel? other then the military or law enforcement agency
After July 1st when Idaho will be come an open and carry state. I'll let you all know. But at this point I feel anxious about it.

Dinner was earlier then I like. Eating dinner between five thirty and six would be ideal. I can feel satisfied so I won't need to re-eat before bed. For this gal no eating after seven in the evening.
We at before five and I'll have a small bowl of hot cereal just before seven. If I feel hungry.
Breakfast 2 eggs, 2 slice of toast, and a sausage patty. Didn't eat all of it.
Lunch peanuts, cottage cheese with strawberries, piece of roast beef, and CRISP BREADS
Dinner Spaghetti with grated cheese, and green beans.
Even got a shot walk in.

Struggling With And Off Day

I and yes I. Want to eat and had a good dinner and small snack right before seven this evening. One thing I'm trying to get back into the habit of not eating after 7 in the evening.
Ate dinner a little earlier then usual. So I plan to have bowl of cream of wheat shortly before seven. Ended up having a piece of cheese. 2 or 3 minutes past.
Since I'm talking about what ate I might as well finish it off.
pancake and one piece of sausage. On the pancake peanut butter, slice strawberries, and low calorie syrup.
Lunch a bowl of chili and mix cottage cheese in it.
Dinner like I said roast, green salad and mash potatoes with it.

I should mention my snacks. A bite of my husband chicken and maple bar.
And a biscotti over with Qunella we met for coffee at under the sun.

Murphy came to coffee with me. We sign the last of paper with escrow company. We're selling the property on bench.
We wouldn't of sold it if the property taxes was reasonable.

Did find my address book for my pen pals so now I can get back writing letters. It was behind my T.O.P.S note book.

Not Three Step Forward But Two

We all make mistakes or not thinking things though. Our land line start to be a piece of crap and between regular month bill and my long distant. I was paying $40 a month and the phone was so noisy.
In waste I called up the local landline company and told them to disconnect our land line. We only have one cell phone, mine and no time I use my minutes.
Knowing something need to be done.
We put in MAGIC JACK since it was such short time as for disconnecting the phone. I thought it would be simple enough to get back our old number since we had since 2000.
Have to contact the phone company and see if they will release it back to us.
But we can call out. cost less then $3.00 a month. Plus $50 for the jack and $15 for the phone.

I was please with my weigh in this morning. I don't recall exactly what I lost but I know it was some where between a pound to pound and half.
Breakfast grapenuts with slice strawberries.
Lunch stuffing and I will count that as 2 piece of food, because of the serving size. A little later on I had a BLT
Dinner ground beef gravy of potatoes and peas.
I bought some HOLY BASIL tea love the smell and taste.
Planning to present an ideal for a little contest in group to make it a little interesting.

Start to look though the 1850 census in different area, FRANKFORT right by Philadelphia.
It's going to take bit time to located my 2nd great grand parents.

Been pretty smooth day. Murphy picked Strawberries gave some to LaWalla. Work day for me.

I write to different pen pal all over the world, and I can't fine my address book and I been looking for it.
Start to clean out my car so we can sell it.  I have hunch they might be some items which fell down between the seats.
Not picky on what the car is...One thing is go I need a four door it easier for me to transport my clients.
The other isn't as important. But a trunk big enough to put "Jimmy Hoffa" in and a manual transmission.
But once we get the phone settle and then we can start looking for anther rig.

Little Stress

Like those work days when there no stress and I don't have to medicate my self with cookies. Just had Regis. Quite a bit of trash to haul out he did go though some items.
Yesterday I posted on my Tops adventure down in Courd'Alene.
So I went over to Liz to get my paper work straighten out.
LaWalla didn't work last week.

I think she will be working for a while. So the plan goes as. Liz get 15 hours a week and she will be doing 12 of it, in 2 days.
Either first or end of the week I will pick up the 3 hours.
And do the 16 hours a week with Regis.

As I was said before Liz son Cyprus got drunk and wreaked her car. It so so drive-able. It one wouldn't want to take any distant, stay in county and not to be taken out on the highway. It needs a lineament.
So what happens, not sure if she gave him the keys or he took them. He got drunk and drove the car down to Sandpoint. 25 miles.
What I gather and see he gets him self in messes and there no punitive recourse for his behavior.
Hopefully sooner or later he will get pulled over for drunk driving and be arrest before he hurts or possible kill someone.
It would be the best thing to happen to him.
The sad thing he could be so much more.

Eating went well and even got in walk this morning.
Breakfast with cut up banana and raisin in my steel cut oats
Lunch BLT sandwich
Dinner Pork chops, green beans, pototoes.
Snack yogurt and few peanuts.

I won't be going to my Tops meeting. Taking Regis over to his speech. So I won't be weigh in tomorrow morning.
Regis is going to talk to his speech therapist and see if we could go back to the time when LaWalla was driving him, a little after 10 in morning. So I can make it to my T.O.P.S support group.

Got to tell you my mother cousin Jon had his DNA done. Jon is a short little bald head man. I stand 5'6 and I would guess if on up windy day he lucky to hit the 5'0 mark even.
I was surprise he 38% Scandinavia.
I picture a Scandinavia being blond, big and tall.
Guess I was wrong.

Back to Back

Got back from our state awards for those who is member of TOPS, which was held in Courd'Alene.  Had a wonderful time.
People in our state of Idaho lost 1,685.5 pounds in 2015
The chapter in Blanchard lost 15.38 pounds per member.
One of our members in our local chapter was the Queen alternate, LaLita. Who lost 71.25 pounds.
They're was two ladies from our state who lost more. One lost 106.25 pounds and the other one lost 102.25 pounds.
I doubt I will make it to our next state gathering which is in POCATELLO.
We had a wonderful motivate speaker Robert Sweetgall of CREATIVE WALKING and he walk in all 50 STATES a total of 11,208 miles.
One word he use was REHABILITION which hit the spot for me.
I can manage quite few life choices. But when it comes to food I seem to use it as crutch or my security blanket.

As you can see and I mut it some place else on my blog. a TICKER. One for my weight lost and the other one for my steps.
As for weight lost I figure if I lost three fourth to one pound a week. By the end of September I should be weigh 205 pounds.
By the end of July I want to be average 35,000 steps a week. Right now in day I average 6,000 steps.

Not saying what I eat on the weekend isn't important but it still been a little crazy. It back to work Monday morning.
Dinner 2 wiener, mac "n" cheese, pork "n" beans, and last was some corn on cob.
Ate fairly early so little later on I'll have some grapenuts. Before 7.

Just finish looking though the town BRISTOL township of Philadelphia. Trying to still located my 2nd great grandparents, John and Hannah (Ross) Shirley.
I use Ancestry dot com. I had my DNA done, and gave me a few surname at this time I can't make any connection with. Like MUSSELWHITE

As I was gone Murphy picked a couple big bowls of Strawberries. He and froze them. Gave a small bowl to my neice Quincy.
She add some more minutes to my phone.
Did a little bit weeding around the tomatoes. My niece garden is a lot father along.
Been mainly cloudy.

Tired And Off To Our Awards

Finish up working with Regis, and his Sister in Law Liz was there. Her son Cyprus and her got in big ole argument/fight.
I'm not a therapist and it would be such a long confusing post.

I'm heading to our State thing for T.O.P.S early in morning. I've never been to one but I been to a few of our five Northern County rally, which I've enjoyed.
I'll let you all know what happen when I get back. I don't see my self posting until Saturday.

I went over to this SITE to find out why I can't loose weight. And didn't learn a thing except what I already know.
I'm emotional eater. I've slowly made improvement. I now recognize when I'm under-stress or let thing bother me. Instead of dozen cookies I learn to recognize the choice I'm making is under stress and I limited to 2 or 3 cookies.
Confession time....I wasn't really aloud to express any type of emotional or feelings when I was growing up.

So we went to mid week yard sale and over to Community Thrift. I got two item a table cloth and plate which I'll give my friend Qunella. Both piece came to $4.00

Liz was buying a quilt, and I know Liz did a some shady dealing. But we could use anyone name.
Let use the name.
Jane was buying a quilt and there was two price tags on item but on with a standard pricing gun, using tag fastener.
One was for $2.99 and the other $6.99.
Question time...which price should the thrift store sold for?
Both of my client buy quite a bit there, more then I do. But I purchase something there a few times a month.
If I was in that situation. I would left every thing I got that day left on cashier table and walk out.

Don't Need Any Thing To Fancy

Fifth Paragraph on yesterday posting I talk about how my car was having some ISSUES. This morning before I went to work and did some errands.
Murphy start to look things over a little bit more. Notice there was oil in my radiator reserve tank, not a little but quite a bit, and what looks like metal flakes.
So as I was gone Murphy must of started it up. He heard a slight grinding sound. So he came to conclusion that the water pump I believe is hindrance.
So look like we're going to be looking for anther rig. Take my word the car isn't worth fixing it has to many other issue.
If we did fix pump. The transmission also has issue, and a bit I will have to replace the tires.
If we did fix the pump I believe we would get about 6 more month if I went and sage the car. But I'm lucky it broke down in our drive way.
In a short time we will listed on Craig list or local yard sale site on facebook, and sell it as a part car.
Now finding anther rig for me to drive.
Don't need anything overly fancy. And nothing with years and years of payments. I could handle three payments.
So I want something under $5,000

But first we need to take care of our phone situation. We took our landline out and it was so noise with white noise sound. And the phone was dead in about an hour.
I have a trac phone. Which is great but lately I've been using it a little more then usual. So Murphy and I are looking about putting in a INTERNET PHONE.
The two brands I've heard about and know people in my area uses there service is MAGIC JACK and OOMA. But I'm not set on any certain brand.
If I'm back early enough on Saturday from our state awards for our T.O.P.S group. We can drive down to Wall Mart and take a look at Internet phone.
If not back early enough we can go Sunday.

In mean time. I wrote two letters one going to Providence Rhode Island and to Glide Oregon. Did a little work since each of my clients have activity for there mental illness.
So I went to Under the sun and had a cup of coffee with my friend Qunella.
After ward I went and stood in line with others for food give away.  four times a year a FOOD TRUCK comes to our area.
We're far from going hungry. You might not believe who all stand in line. Not necessary the poor.
Let just say people of all walks of life.

Murphy picked strawberries and got quite bit. Uncovered the garden. It got down to 31 or -0.5. Not much damage everything will recover.
Don't recall a freeze in June.

As for my eating today. It been a bit stressful and nibbling though the day been a struggle. But I've had a lot worst time.
Breakfast a roll, sausage patty, and 2 eggs.
Lunch a cheese sandwich on dark rye. Which I got at food give away. Rye is a bread I like.
Dinner pork ribs, mash potatoes from the truck. Not sure what seasoning they put in the potatoes but there taste. And cole slaw.
I can say I did get a twenty five cent ice cream cone form super one.

Small Should Be Key Word

Weigh In at T.O.P.S and I was up three fourth of pound considering we had a family gathering, actual I should be please with my weight gain. Usual after a family gathering it could have been a lot worst. Most every one on my mom side are great cook.

Before I move on about what I ate and did.

I live in a small town and living is fairly reasonable. Most new comers, and I have nothing against new comers.
Well and maybe I'm all wet. But this is what I see...
They move here from different area. Quite a few of them had union jobs and now have a nice retirement with pensions and social security. And they worked hard and earn what they got.
But once they come here....There the most anti union person...vote for right to work, and most conservative candidates....grumbles about what might improve any one world like improving schools, libraries, fire, and etc. Vote against any levy or bonds.
And even thought of raising the minimum wage they might have to pay a few pennies on something. So shit green Twinkies. (just a have fit)
I'm probably opening a can of worms.
Question time...your thoughts on this?

Just covered the garden. Been hearing possible freeze. We have some rip ole blankets in barn which worked well.
Worked went well took Regis to Sandpoint so he could get his hard copies for his meds, and stop in at library, which is amazing compare to ours.
And wal-mart.

Not sure what the issue is on my car. Last two morning my car battery been drained to almost dead.
I was going to drive the car to Sandpoint and notice the temp gauge was going up to hot. Well we ended up taking the pick up.
So Murphy popped the hood and notice my radiator cap was broken. I'll use the pick up tomorrow and swing by one of the auto place and get one.
Not sure if the broken cap has anything to do with draining the battery or not.

Breakfast was sausage, 2 eggs, and roll.
Lunch part of my sausage, apple, celery, and lettuce.
Dinner. Hamburger which doesn't set well in my stomach. Love hamburgers but they set in my stomach like a rock. Oven fries, and pork and beans.
Regis bought some cookies and I try to stop at 2 but some reason I had to have 1 more.
But also bought a cookies type of bar, and piece of jerky.

Open Ones Mouth On Social Media

I posted a photo on a mass killing in St Louis long time ago. Trying to briefly show there been other MASS KILLING. Not just Orlando.
I don't want to talk about the NRA or The second amendments.
But the relationship between SUNNI AND SHIA when President Bush went into Iraq and told the American people that they had weapon of Mass destruction. And we have plenty of weapons of mass destruction.
Now the Sunni and Shia are in tangle. Actual because of our foreign policies I don't see this settle down in my present life time.
But Christian do to there belief have promote SLAVERY and was used in our American Civil war to justify both slavery and non slavery.
Plus many other CAUSE.
Google any cause and see how much the bible or any religion  was brought in to use against or for any causes. Let try WOMAN RIGHT
More need to be done with our health system including Mental Illness.

Today I meant Murphy at Senior center for lunch. I park over by the thrift store so I could get a bit of a walk in.
They had Taco soup with corn bread. two cookies at work.
Dinner spaghetti sauce on rolls. Actual it was better then on noodles and had nice dinner salad.
Breakfast was French Toast and 2 strips of bacon.
An small bowl of grape nuts with strawberries and raisins.

There this guy who said the liberal commies is ruining the country. But does he realize a liberal such as FDR start Social Security and he and like many in there is getting a monthly check.
If it wasn't for Social Security when most of us age we soon would be moving into our children places or to a poor house.
Been doing some genealogy and looking for one my relatives who lived in Philadelphia area. Just look though what they called a "poor house" quite a few people there was elderly or young woman mid 20 with small children.
In the 1850's they wasn't much for safety nets.

Pretty sane day at work. Worm Daisy our dog this morning. Got a letter off to BLACKWOOD South Wales.
But receive one from Florida.

Start and Catch Up

Thought I would start to type this post on my day. But in 20 minute or so. I'm going to leave for work not sure if I posted that my friend LaWalla won't be coming to work next week.
Liz needs a ride home and if I don't start my week a day early I won't get my time in.
Friday morning I'm going with my T.O.P.S group to our state awards. I know I won't be getting any awards but there is a few ladies who lost enough and became K.O.P.S (Keeping off pounds pounds sensible) but once you meet your final goal weight. You have a 10 pound lead, 7 pounds down and 3 pounds up.

Since we're talking about dieting and health. Breakfast was an blt sandwich, lunch was cabbage, and bowl of chili. Dinner fried pork chop, chard and more cole slaw, but also had little bit of mash potatoes.
I had desire to play with some food. I mixed some powder sugar together rolled in ball and stuck it in my mouth.
Very last thing I had was grapenuts and slice strawberries.

Yesterday I told you about the family reunion. Not sure if this was a compliment or insult. I was told I'm looking and acting more like my mom.
I can see the good in my mom but on the side of the coin, her short comings. I should post a family photo taken back in 1975.
I was 15 and I was with my parents, and my mother parents.
It in our steamer trunk. Now I need to move on to the other part of my family.
On the way to Liz place I had to ask her if I overly toot my horn. I notice quite a few of my family members real blow there horns.
If some said they bought a pair of shoes for $20, and of carouse some one got a pair for $23, then someone will say they bought a pair of shoes for $80, and so forth.
Out of my generation I'm one of the younger ones. We were born from 1945 to 1965 and I born in 1960.
So quite a few of my cousin are retired and they sure was bragging on there retirement. Most of them were blue collar workers. A few taught schools.
None of would every or lease this bunch would never say they was in a second hand store.
I wonder what there reaction would be if I said something like...I went in so so thrift store and fill a bag for $5.00 and got car jack for $10.00.
But I wonder if some might have GRANDIOSE DELUSIONS. In simple term those who was bragging was full crap.

Pick strawberries and mow the lawn. There is note card out in my mail boxes and it heading to Denver.

Split In Half

This post was started before Murphy and I headed down to my family reunion. A little nervous about going.
I doubt I'll post about what I ate. The plan is 3 small appetizer, 5 items at main meal, and no more then 3 small desserts.
Hopeful Tuesday weigh if there a gain it will be under one pound. But I would be happier if I loose.

One thing I need to is worm our dog and cats. We got cat worming medicine but next time I go to town I'll get some dog worming medicine.
Murphy and I went this morning and never thought of getting some.

Reunion went fine. Not quite 60 people there. My Uncle Bob was the oldest there. He will be 91 end of November.
My granddaughter Claudia was the youngest at 2 months.

And I kept to my plan except they were no appetizer. Lunch I had five items on my plate. My choice of meat was Turkey with mash potatoes, bake beans and 2 salads.
Dinner was ham with a dinner roll, bake beans some chips and 1 salad
After lunch dessert was 2 cookies and some fancy popcorn. I was planning to have strawberry short cake but the time I got to it, it was put up.
So my dinner dessert was the same as lunch dessert.

One In And One Out

Receive a snail mail letter from Denver. And send one off to Maine.

This time I try something a little different. I wrote the letter on back of three photos from area. Took some wall paper and made an envelope.
Plus decorated the photos a little.
Anyhow I don't think I'll be using  photos much. It pretty expensive writing paper

Work was pretty easy. But before I went to work I went over North Side and took a walk down the dike. It was a short walk my hip was bothering me. It seem like I had to go pee every few minutes.
Thought might see the new place there building, or roof which is on my Uncle John and Aunt Joyce place. There place was tore down and was empty lot for some time.

Quite a bit wind during my walk. The Kootenai river had white cap on it.
Once I got done with my walk. I went and help to Maggie her and I do the weigh in at our local tops.
We're making a power point for our State recognize banquet in Courd'Alene. It to honor those reached there goal and became  K.O.P.S (Keeping off pound sensible) Part of TOPS
Four items in lunch seems to be the correct number of items. Some chicken, yogurt, kipper snackers, and hard boil egg. Which was difficult to peel. I usual use vinegar or salt in my water but not sure what went wrong.
At work I limited my self to 2 cookie when I first got there and cup of hot water. Then one when I was doing my book work.
When stop in at store. I wasn't sure what Murphy is did any shop or not. So I grab pizza. I did ger a candy bar, Heath Bar.
Dinner ground beef patty done on barbecue with potato salad.
Breakfast for easy terms I had a home made McMuffin.

Work was easy. General cleaning and we went over to a thrift store. I believe Regis picked up some books and figurines. Some time I should take my camera and take some photos of his collection.
I got more stuff for letter writing to my SNAIL MAIL. One thing I like to do is use wall paper and make envelope.

Murphy and I did some organize of lumber. So we can start on the deck. I was going to give the size what were planning to build. I know it 8 foot out and length I don't recall. I could go an measure it but I'm not.

Mid Week And A Day Off

As for picking up anther client who might be possible mental ill. I'll find out more about the lady I'm thinking of signing on, this Saturday during our family reunion.
My cousin Rita seem to know her. But if I decide to go it won't be till after the latter part of August and into September.
Personally I don't have nothing against Liz, actual I don't like dragging her name thought the mud. She been molested by her brother and it was just sweep on the carpet. No wonder she a mess.
A little latter on I'll post about her mess up with her disability.
Idaho is on the bottom how they deal with the MENTAL ILL

Not a bad day. This morning Murphy and I went and picked our first batch of strawberries. Then headed in to town.
To sign some papers on sell our place on the bench. Feel some what disappointed that we didn't get property tax value. $45,000 but ended up settling for $32,000 and carrying the contract at 4%.
The good thing we won't be paying the property taxes at $450 a year.
After we got back we slice up the berries and froze 2 quarts, and ate the rest.

Breakfast 2 slice of toast, 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon.
Well after the paper signing we stop at Super one and had bite in the deli. I had a small bowl of tomato bisque with basil.
Lunch as bowl of chili with cut up wiener, and cheese. Quite salty and slice of bread with butter.
Dinner was fired chicken hearts, and I'm not southern gal at all. With it we had slice strawberries, and rice.
Finish off the day with 6 ounce container of yogurt.
Mange to get a walking

Usual when Murphy and I decided to do a project there usual quite a bit of not seeing eye to eye. But to day we went out back and look things over about starting our deck.
Actual as for plan we're on the same side. Got big chunk of lumber which came from the shed on bench.
As I see it very little lumber has to be purchased.
But we need to organize it by size.

Mopped my kitchen and dinning room floor. I got SWIFTER MOP Mine is older model with single nozzle.
I make my own floor wash one thing I like using is WHITE VINEGAR and last floor wash I made I grab some apple cider vinegar instead of the white.
Which reminds me of pie dough.

Got a letter from one of my pen pal in Rhode Island. Mange to write 3 letters today. Two our on West coast one went to California and the other one went to Oregon.
But also send one to South Africa.
The cows where bought in for summer pasture across the street from us.

I believe it might be pretty long work day tomorrow. Plus it cooled off a bit not like blast in the oven.

I Was But It Can Wait

I was going to tell more the mess Liz got her self in.  Not sure it from MENTAL illness or not.
Yesterday when Regis and I went to the good will. I did get a mask to hang on our power line pole. Sort of considering on taking on anther client, also mental ill I believe

Today I went and weigh at my local T.O.P.S and I was down 2 pounds. So I lost about half of the weight I gain over last week.
But when I went to work I sure went on cookie binge.
Murphy went over to the senior center and had lunch. It wasn't all that appetizing but they had some type of huckleberry dish and one left over and they gave it to me.

Since I didn't have more four items for lunch. Time dinner came around I was feeling hungry and was a little scared that I might over eat.
So I decided to have 2 piece of fish, 1 cup mac "n" cheese, and 5 slice of pickle beets. If I wasn't satisfy on that
I would have one 1 piece of fish, half cup of mac "n" cheese, and 4 pickle beets.

Still hot.

Quite Day

Regis and I took a trip to Sandpoint a fun trip to good will and Library. He collect MARVEL characters. And has quite of collection. Today still in box he got two figuring not sure which ones.
The a Captain American Mail box.
I got neck less  regular $2.99 and because it had red tag 50% off. I got some note cards and stickers so I can write to my pen pals.

This morning I met my friend LaWalla at under the sun and had coffee. Then head up to were Liz has her mental health help and inform them what we seen.
Sunday LaWalla went to work and now I believe her son Cyprus called the LDS CHURCH and some one came out to her place.
Well once I talk to LaWalla she told me that Liz was laying on her bed. Drawing in thin air with her finger.
I believe it was Friday night and her son took the car and got drunk. He also have mental illness. He can hear people think.
So he got drunk and was heading back East. Not sure what back there.
But ended up going in major ditch and got back out. To get out of that ditch he would of been going a lease 60 miles per hour or more to get out of the ditch.
Well the car is total and no more. The transmission, tires, and engine is still good.
I might look at tire and see they would work on my car.
She had insurance and think she going to collect from there insurance company. I believe with out a police report she won't be able to collect.
She doesn't want her son to get in trouble. Well he needs to take responsible for his action. Any how he 28 years old.
Since I doubt his mom will say or do a report with law enforcement agency. She out of vehicle and collecting any insurance money.
I'm sure not wishing her ill and actual I have pitty on her mental illness. Being so called trap in your own mind.

Super hot once again. And you can see one of my lilly are blooming. Did get a walk in around 7 this morning and it was up in the 80's already.
Dinner was a hamburger on bun and melt cheese, ok a cheese burger.

Just start to look though BRISTOL Pennsylvania. In 1850 it was part of Philadelphia county and now it in buck county not sure when the line changed.

Don't Know And It Not Important

I want to post after work yesterday and not often I work on Saturday. I was tired. I'm sure it was the heat.
LaWalla and I took our clients down to the car show in Bonners Ferry. And even stop at few of the yard sale on the way in.
I got some insulation tape that one puts around the window and door way.

At time I shake my head at there behavior mostly Liz. We all have things go basically wrong in our life. There a few choppy seas we sail across.
Not having the right tools to deal with them it could end up being a disaster.
On the 4th of July they were planning to take her car down to Utah to visit family and friends. Her son Cyrus wreaked the car.
He said he turned the car wheel to miss a deer, and slid into a ditch. The size of ditch it doesn't add up.
Went and looked at the area where the wreaked happen. If he was going the posted speed of 35 miles an hour.
He wouldn't of been able to get out. He got out and my guess on facts I see, he was speeding to bring the car out of the ditch.
According to his mom the car it not drive-able.
There more to the story but I want to move on and will finish up hopeful Monday or Tuesday post.
Every time she has has some stressful life event.
Her behavior becomes aggressive and combative toward other people out in public. If something don't suit her she will start a fight with them.
Some one at a yard sale had something marked for $3.00, sure I thought it was over price. But you don't say. "What the hell our you planning to retire at the end of day"
If it over price. You just leave it and say nothing.
But if you want to see if you could bring it down in price. You make an offer and see what happens.
Then one time in some store some guy had there chew in there front pocket and she want to start to be come confrontation to them.

We're having a family reunion of descendant of my grand parents Edgar (Jack) and Olive Shirley McCalmant. This up coming Saturday the 11th.
So my Aunt Eve and I did a few invites of those who we were un-sure they would get the message or not.
Usual my Aunt Eve get under my skin and this time she didn't. It bothers me at time she show very little empathy toward others.
If my math is right between Aunt and Uncle then also cousins. I have 79 relative in 100 mile radius and I know all 79 won't show between work, other comments, and family feud.

Minor thing I would like to straighten out is about the price of renting a mobile home here. There not many trailer pad here. Usual most moblie home is on private party as CARRIE AND HERSHAL were renting at I believe was $450 a month. And for parking it was included.
And most trailer in park most of them is being rent in the $400 range,
If some one had to rent a pad for the trailer I would guess it would between $75 to $150 a month.

It got up to 100 today. Around nine I walk around the place for a little while. A long with the invited I also mange to get a letter off to a pen pal, and it going to HUGOTON KANSAS.
As for food I had pancake with strawberries out of garden. I put peanut butter on my pancake and two slice of bacon.
Lunch a roast beef sandwich with melt cheese.
Dinner barbecue chicken, mash potatoes, and cranberries.
A little ice cream and slice of cheese.

As I been reading though MS GREENE DIARY that she bought a set of dishes for twenty five cent way back in 1887

What Did You Fine

I've been reading a book to figure what one want out of life. Reaching your true goals. The newest thing they want you to do is look around and fine clues that tell other who you may be or not.
I found this someone difficult.
Confession time....I felt I was being force to judge anther person, which made me uncomfortable even at this time I'm judge my self.

Three thing a person would see if they walk in my house.
Dishes may or may not be done.
Coffee is usual on
There some paper clutter.

Question time...When you see the above photo what is your conclusion about this person?
I wonder if a person could have an ambidextrous brain.
Actual I can see this in several different ways.
1) this person is wise and blocking heat and light so the air conditioner don't have to run as hard.
2) This person is poor and can purchase drapes
2 1/2) If this person had matching drapes and right up town...My thought how many credit card have they max out.
3) This person looks like they used what they had at home and up cycling.

Confession time...Actual I'm a little or could be embarrass by what is hung over my window.
Some what listed as one though three as in above.
We all leave little clue who we want to be or not to be.

Might as well share my day with you.
Let get to the chase. Breakfast steel cut oats with slice banana.
Lunch a cold chicken leg, yogurt, raw crackers, and tomato.
Dinner london broil, green salad, and bake pototo.
Shameful eat and enjoyed every second of it. Cinnamon ice cream, and 2 chocolate cookies.
Mange to get a walk in this morning.

I live in Idaho and conservative republican is having there convention in NAMPA IDAHO. There use the four "F" and I'm not going to ask any one name four fruit that start with the letter "F" Opinion time...I thinks most of our conservative Republican here is a bunch of fruits
Well the G.O.P it stands for firearm, freedom, family, and faith.
The two thing Idaho Republican want to do. Is go on the GOLD STANDARD and why don't we go on the bubble gum standard.
The other one is abolish the TWENTY FOURTH AMENDMENT.
The only thing I can say "Only in Idaho"

Worked a short shift. Went and talk to the people who handling our escrow on our property we're about to sell.

Not sure what going on at work tomorrow which is Saturday. But LaWalla and I are going to show up at Liz, and Regis is there and see if they want to go out for an outing.
But never know with them. So if we go any place I'll take some letter writing, and crafts projects.

Just got done looking though the Blockley Pennsylvania 1850 census looking for any connection with my 2nd great grandfather "John Shirley" or his wife "Hannah Ross"
I did fine one "Shirley" living in poor house in Blockley.
I know what a pauper is but I notice a lot of poor was older people, No social security, And woman with children. Still no safety net.
Or the other group you would be place in would be insane or idiot. Question time what is the difference?
Now on to BRIDESBURG

Pokes In Idaho

Actual I like walking but I have an issue of walking in the same area. So this morning I drove a across the Kootenai river and parked at our local clinic and took a short walk.
There a house across the way from clinic, on the hill side there some interesting plants growing. Not as many as there was at one time.
Recall beautiful white iris or flags
One reason I decided to walking in this neighborhood. I was wonder if any one been living in my old client Carrie and her husband Hershall. But it looks empty.
And there is housing shortage for mostly the low income.
I believe there rent was $450 a month. It seen the average single wide mobile home goes between $400 and $500.
The run down cracks in window, holes in floor will go for slightly under $400.
Those who been maintain and up kept will go for over $500 a month.
Like I said before I've never had any of my client income was over $800 month. Plus utilities are extra.

I've been a history buff, actual my favor subject in school. I guess it main reason I'm in to genealogy. Right now I'm looking for more info on my maternal grandma dad side the Shirley.
Right now I'm looking though the 1850 census in Philadelphia at present time, strolling though the ALMSHOUSE
As for history I would call this a poor house, but they did take care of other people needs.
Reading there names on census rolls I wonder what every happen to them. Every one has value the one person I can think that doesn't have value is a child molester.
When I speak of value I don't mean money. We all have our special glitch in life.

Well our town of Bonners Ferry doesn't have homeless shelter. And it illegal to look poor and when law enforcement finds some one who is homeless. They take them to the next county.
I heard there 20 or so homeless in my area. And I bet there is a lot more.

Work was easy as usual. Both of my clients are planning to take a trip to Utah the first of July.

Wrote three letters to my PEN PAL and all went to the states in southeast.
Confession time...I took on to many pen pal and couldn't correspond fairly.
So I picked 40 out of 70 and writing each of them a letter. I know some won't respond and it doesn't upset me. Simple I understand and the reason is. Some of pen pals I haven't written to been way long, some in 2015.
So in bit. I'll send the same 40 a letter. In hope, giving them a hint I want to correspond. If I don't hear from them I figure they don't want to correspond,
Confession time...I believe 20 to 30 pen pals would be enough.

I did stop in at a thrift store and wonder to my self why am there. I got way to much stuff. But I found some writing paper with design.
But I look at couple of purses but didn't get them. I don't take care of what I have. I have way to much stuff. So why buy more even if it a deal.

On facebook post I say 100 years of ladies fashion. The above photo is what possible my husband or my grandma wore when they had our parents.
Also what our parents wore when my husband and I was born.
Even what I should be wore.

Eating once again went well. No emotional eating.
Breakfast BLT on white bread, but I'm not all that crazy about white bread.
Lunch once again 4 items, raw crackers, dates, yogurt and fiber cookies.
Dinner thin pork chops, mash potatoes, and carrots.
Now for my grab food. 2 small chocolate chip cookie, and kind bar,

Today Is Thursday, April 18, 2024: This Is What Happened

I was surprised that there weren't any letters to the Editor of the  BONNERS FERRY HERALD.  I guess they got it all out on social med...
