I've travel very little and had chance to go to KONA and there plenty of things I learn and what I would do differently, when traveling.

In short bit hopeful Saturday and Sunday I can share my Hawaii adventure. But now what things I need when leaving the area.

Before I left I got all my meds filled what I could. And I should of been fine and I was. But found out I could take my bottles into any pharmacy if some how I ran out of pills. If one runs low on your medication one can go to a pharmacy with there presribtion bottle. But don't wait until there complete empty. I would say 5 pills or 5 days worth. They should be able to fax your pharmacy and quickly get your meds refill.
But it wise to have more meds then you need.

Then were I actual feel short was taking care of my chemical and pollen sensitivity.
Usual my pollen sensitivity is end of April at my home area. Next time before I travel I would start taking my antihistamine 3 to 5 days before I left to unknown types of pollen or check with pollen map. If your own sure of plant life you might still want to start regiment before you take off.

Certain soaps and such bothers me. And soaps I use are clear and free. Scented soaps I don't use. First request that bedding to be washed in a soap you can use. The air b and b place we stayed at used a laundry detergent that wasn't friendly toward me.
But if this didn't work. Bring your own laundry soap. Although this my not fly with the TSA. But you can go to local market and find laundry products that suits your needs.
And this may apply to other soaps and such.
Bring your own bedding from home. which would be last resort for me.

Let you bank know your leaving and you will be certain area. At one time my son and his wife was in Frankfort Germany and there account was froze up.
I tried to book some flights back. Since my daughter in law is a flight attendant she can get us some great deals. But there problems traveling this way. The air lines like the full paying custmers first.

So now I have to look though my photos. But I would do a few things different when I leave and area.

Who Little Secrets

I got wrap looking though different web pages about Queen Victoria mainly her children and grandchildren.
Most of her children married a cousin of Europe. Found out one of her daughter LOUISE married JOHN CAMPBELL who was the FOURTH GOVERNOR OF CANADA

Queen Victoria was quite the WRITER in her journals and letters. I would guess she had write DAILY
And until proven differently I assume there some type of recording from the royals although history.

Even our President kept DAILY JOURNAL OR DIARY of some type. And I wonder if there Vice President and other Cabinet members kept a journal of some type. I did find this BLOG about our 33rd Vice President and a little about his recordings.
I wonder how there opinion, ideals and feeling, may or may not be the same.

Start to wonder between the National Archives and Smithsonian who carried most diaries, letters, and journals
Not such which one would hold more but these doesn't look interesting from the SMITHSONIAN and it Illustrated letters.
My guess the national archives would have more letters simple it specialty is A PAPER TRAIL
But it also got me now wondering if both places some where records what we put out on social Media and which included blogs.

I've help take care of few Mormons in past and all of I knew KEPT A JOURNAL of some type which I know it part of there FAITH.
I knew a Mormon and she has past and filled up page how she hated her son in law.

Before computers and such a journal entry would be something like above...Dear Self, Today was a busy day of practical shopping, nothing fun.
Bought both Liz and Regis a little something.
Liz I got her larger knitting needles and Regis his plastic canvas.
For my self and at Good Will I found a set of king size sheets and 2 pieces of fabric.

It's Out There

Since the day of the world wide web, one can find about anything they want to. Lovely way to seek and search new things.
I don't who said "you can't teach and old dog new tricks"
The only I know who might have trouble in learning new thing, someone who is extremely arrogant.
Opinion time...There is a difference between arrogant and self confidence
Even to explain the difference between arrogant and self confidence is...A person with self confidence will be honest about there short comings with humor and humility.

Last night on Public Television there had feature story on POOR PEOPLE CAMPAIGN and I found it interesting and appalling on how the poor in our country is treat.
And lot of get up and go to work every day.
Although not sure at present time there INVOLVEMENT is. Little research I've done but it seem to be more active on east coast of the United States.
Opinion time....I'm for federal basic income of some type for every citizen. And also I'm for a simple basic tax rate.
I know I will ruffle a few feathers on this. And if there to many feathers I ruffled I will explain my self before I take off to Kona, Hawaii.

I decided not yet go off on our government shut down. Believe me I got plenty things to say.
And I know the SMITHSONIAN is close down, but that place I would like to see.

Last few days I been putting odds and ends in there search engine to see what comes up. Even my maiden name.

But I put in my mothers mothers maiden name of SHIRLEY and many things came up under that search term.

One of my favor flower is HOLLYHOCK and this list things or items President Truman loved wrote to his wife Bess.

Since I had BROCCOLI for dinner and not just broccoli but anything food related and even one needs to fall out box.
This on food packaging.

This isn't just all what put in there search engines. But I found it interesting.
Also found this interesting it's called LOOKBOOK and I never heard of it. Not sure what purpose of it is.
My job doesn't require a dress code. But when I go out I make sure I'm put together with some class. I don't go out unkepted
I even went to there main page and put a few what I call INTERESTING TERMS

Not down at my weight lost group but I can handle the small gain. I cut out pattern pieces for my next quilt block I will be sending off. Then also I got the fabrics picked out.
Fingers cross that I will get the block done and send off before I leave.

It Was Asked

Over on my facebook page I ask a question and you can ask on any social media. Question time...Do you promote your self personally, your ideals, or little bit of both.
My answer would be both and hopeful I try to take balance approach on social media.
Confession time...I have trouble or don't know what to say when anyone leans or heavily on one subject and never varies off of.

Yestderday I did a short VLOG and I'm afraid that I might of came across that the fabric I shown might of be the only one I will be using in item I will be making for my you tube give away.
Well it's not.
It's a multi color and cotton fabrics I will be using. I just don't want to give it away but I'm willing to share anthor piece of fabric.

Before I went to work I decided to take walk though the alleys of Bonners Ferry. There one alley I didn't do because of snow on road way.

Like all communties and doesn't matter the size we also have a house shortage for lower income. But there used to be apartments in lot of town down building in Bonners Ferry and lot now looked vaccant. Not sure if window is missing od someone just left it open.
Although not sure what the condition of these building are.

Not sure or maybe it glare. That the alley look so long. But none of alley are all that long.
These building are lot shorter. I believe they all have business in them.

It seem most of the tranformers to business are placed in alley way. In stead of out front of the businesses.

Made it work. Nothing excitting. Picked up kitchen, went shopping and scub toilet. Made sure client had all of his needs ment.

One and Stich and Two Stich

Today was sewing. Confession time...I don't like to mend and actual I rather do piece from start to finish.
Even alteration I put in the same category as mending.
We need some more king size sheets and that the fact of it.

It been a while since I worked on any quilt blocks. I'm part of a quilt block exchange. Last half of 2018 was just plain crazy.
So I didn't get much out. So now I can. One to two blocks would be good in month or a reasonable amount, that I can handle.

Even had a chance to get the fabric and colors line up to even start a hot pot holders. What I think I will do is do some tops up and let say when I get half dozen or so done. Then I will add the back half.

I'm not sure what colors and patterns I'll be doing the hot pot holders in. Or how many will get done.
But already I have seam to rip out and re due.

I've done ok with eating the last few days. Nothing after 7pm and here is snap shot of dinner. The sauce in middle is Arby sauce

But it might seem strange but I like to eat raw potatoes.

Notice there a tint of pink as sun slowly went down for evening. Sun been going down about 4:30 although it still light after 5:00

Snow came Thursday morning to North Idaho and sure not like on east coast. Actual our moister level is down.
The road around my area is icy or sloopy.

But I guess there an excuss for all most anything in life. But these clouds look so soft and puff that one could lay on them and wish away.

It's Something But

Went though anther box in closet and notice it was mostly Bart items from his sports days. Sawyer wasn't much of a sports person.
He did play Kiwanis basketball, which then were for 5th and 6th grades.

I found some twist wooded handle silverware I would of taken them to thrift store. But Murphy took then into pantry in basement.
It will be a while until I get a chance to go though that. I even doubt I will even get to it this year.

Yesterday I got four patterns copied to size I want. Well some I shrunk down so I could make some hot pot holders.
Then some I kept at regular sizes and I get back doing quilting blocks to send out.
The ones I shrunk and I had every intention of doing hot pot holder for gifts in 2018 Christmas and now there for 2019.

Hopeful after work I can get chance to pick out fabric I want to use. Not sure how I will line it all up.

Not going over to Liz just to Regis. Still trying to see about getting my hours back. She hasn't heard back from the state.
She probably will have to call them again. Going to suggested she try Monday.
I need know so I can know what to do with my health insurance subsidy. It's such a hassle to deal with bureaucracy and I'm trying to give it a fair amount a time before I report a change.
I don't want to report a change and then turn around and report again.

So far today I took 2,516 steps. I tend to forget to record my steps off my fit bit.
I'm thinking of doing anther you tube video sometime after Friday and before Tuesday.
Like I said I'm thinking.

Wednesday Meme Number Twenty Six

It taken me a little time to chase down "Words For Wednesday" and for me we have a new host, LISSA and she done something a little different then what I'm not use to. She posted a you tube video.

But also these words or statements...It's going to rain today. chasing storms. umbrellas, charmed, a long journey, and trains

Carol woke up to rain dancing on metal roof although as hard it hitting the roof and it now unnerving.
She had quite the distant to drive to catch the two oh five train and she had a three different trains to catch before she reached she final destination to see her sister Jeannie.
But she was hoping that the storm would be long gone before the drive to train station about 20 miles in to next community.
But if this didn't work she would conjure up a spell to have rain leave or calm it self down.
She give it an a little time and see what happen.

She had her suit case packed but still there were hygiene items to add. So she decided to relax and read a bit in her book.
She had anther one packed in her bag.

Well the storm has let up and usually this time year the town of Meton doesn't get much in precipitation at all. Maybe a ten minute cloud burst.

So she had to pull out her book of shadow and see how to work with God Oya.

She held her right hand a desert jasper stone and begin to speak.

Oya the good of weather could you please open the sky and let the sun shine unto the earth.
I need a safe trip to see my sister Jeannie.
I don't need it completely stop I would like it to lighten up a bit.

In about a hour or so the rain had became a drizzle. And now she had to decided which charms she need to place of her suit case before she headed to the station.
But still she had a little time and thought of quickly going to the local cafe for a bite to eat.
As she entered the cafe there sat Jerry who had charmed her past. They had a lite lunch and chat for a little bit, and soon she was driving to village of Pauson.

But a little over half way she remember she left her umbrella hanging on door knob. But she gone this far and wasn't about to turn about and head back.
And not quite an hour she was at train station a waiting for train to arrive she she could go her Journey to see her sister Jeannie

My mom used to find things for us in a minute after we had been looking for hours. My siblings and dad sometimes lose things and ask me to help because “I always find it magically” .... I’m actually very excited about the mom touch to finding things

I say the names of things I see while in the car. Like: “Oh, a Burger King” and “hmmm a new Wawa. Interesting”. My mom does this and it used to drive me nuts when I was younger.

My husband actually types google.com into the search bar, even though our default search engine is google. It’s a classic dad move.

The article mentioned that the goal was to have people's rates based on behaviors and choices, rather than in fundamental characteristics, where the person cannot change them.

Does this mean that age will stop driving costs as well? That seems more consistent with the goal than credit history, which is also disallowed as a factor, since it is based on past financial behavior.

CA uses years licensed not age. So less years licensed -> less driving experience -> higher risk, would be the logic. That way a 30 year old who just got their license wouldn’t get a discount with other 30 year olds who’ve had 15 years of practice/experience

So when I’ve had 65 years licensed my rates will surely be very low?

Let Take It With A Grain Of Salt

Yesterday my son and his daughter, plus little ole me. We did a snow person and I forgot to get a photo of our great statue.
Well I thought it would of still been standing proudly. It wasn't it went Boom and fell down.
For eyes it had almonds, nose was a carrot, and for month I use black sunflower seed.
It anyone guess why it collapse.

Had our first meeting for our pagan group and how we want to move forward. It was decided on that we will get together last Sunday of each month for learning and studying.
When it comes to pagan book, and I would guess there authors of faith authors and such just burns you.
Confession time...Most of Raymond Buckland just doesn't set with me.
So we decided each of us to write a topic that we are interested in study. Our first topic will be on crystal.
I won't be to our first group meeting. But I will have something on crystal written up, that I could share with the group.
As how we're going to decided so called topic. Everyone took two piece of paper and wrote suggestion of area of study.
We came co depend on our high priestess. And when it comes to our Sabbats that two people of group will plan and excute the ritual.
So this way it doesn't fall on the same person lap. Our first one will be for IMBOLC
