Today Is Tuesday January 31 2023, This Is What Happen

Start to look up prices of air flights and train to go down to Medford, Oregon. To go down to see my family down there. It is cheaper to fly into San Diego. And Amtrak site is having issues.

I came home from work and looked for the remote for our Blu-ray player. Since I have tomorrow off, I wanted to see if the remote does things. Like, turn the power off and on. Plus, see if the reject button works. Finally, if that's all ago, I would like to know how to hook up streaming.

Liz and I went to Sandpoint. She had her appointment. I took a short walk. The cold weather sends me back in. I read some more of my current book.

We both stop at the dollar tree. I bought some Valentine's cards and stickers, which I will send to my granddaughter.

Today Is Monday January 30 2023, This Is what Happen

I'm starting work later on in the day. Regis got a doctor's appointment in the late afternoon. So I will head over to Liz first. In the late morning.

So this morning I did my exercises.

I have been looking for some movies that ORSON WELLS was involved in. JOURNEY INTO FEAR. The library in Sandpoint has a lot larger selection of DVDs. I will check ours on Tuesday. They're closed on Sunday and Monday. The other one I would like to get is THE SPANISH EARTH.

If I can't find Journey Into Fear on DVD, I will consider the BOOK. The same goes for SPANISH EARTH. Again, I will consider reading the book.

Today Is Sunday January 29 2023, This Is What Happen.

Two more days left in the month. I'm drawing a blank on what to blog about it. At the time, I wished my life wasn't so routine. But then, on the other side of the coin. I'm blessed my life isn't full of drama.

Well, I got my letter to send off to the editor and I did get my letter written to my elected officials...

.I wrote a letter to a few local papers, BONNERS FERRY HERALD9B NEWS, BONNER DAILY BEEREADERINLANDERCOEUR D ALENE PRESS, and the SPOKESMAN REVIEW

My letter was published in only some of the papers. But the main thing about my letter is to have constituents communicate with their elected officials. All voices need to be heard. Both at the federal, state, and local levels.

Since I wrote a letter to the editor, I should follow through on asking my fellow citizens to contact their elected officials. Regardless they vote for them or not.

I'm a multi-potentiality. And I have a list of twenty-one things I want to bring up and voice to. So I'm only choosing three and a half of them.

The three and a half I'm selecting are abortion, education with social media, and election.

It would be a little fair that I should write a few lines about myself. I'm a young sixty-three-year-old. I'm a wife, mother, and grandma. I'm getting ready to retire from doing in-home/personal care. I have quite a few interests. I enjoy walking, learning, researching, being creative, writing, and reading. My current book I'm reading American Jezebel. The following three books on my reading list are Sabina Spielrein: The woman and myth. A year in Cherry Brook-A Bird Hand, Red Book, or The Country Diary Of An Edwardian Lady.

To me, it seems that those who are pro-life or anti-abortion from what I saw. So I would use the term.

"Pro Fetus" After birth, the ultra-conservative doesn't think it necessary to support programs that might help a person do better. I'm sure others out there look at the Pro-life crowd as a hypocrite. Since some only care about the fetus after they're born. It becomes a different situation after they arrive out of the womb. I wonder if you have any plans to help those who have been born? It doesn't matter the age. And hopefully, you are not of the mindset "Pull your boots up by your bootstraps" or Trickle-down economy."

One thing that needs to be taught in school is how to use the internet and social media correctly. Growing up, my parents received some magazines, a local daily paper, and a weekly village paper. They watched the local and national news for a total of one hour. But now we're smitten with. I google "news," and it came up with over twenty-four billion. First, one needs to feel that it is all right to look at both sides of a coin. Then, starting in sixth grade, start looking at both sides of a different subject.

I like to bring up algorithms on social media. I'm not talking about ads on social media. Any activity on social media usually goes to those who agree with your ideology.

What I see on my social media accounts are

things and such that I concur with. However, the truth is that not everyone agrees with them or with me.

In my school of thought. "Things posted or shared on social media should be at random. Not algorithm.

Not using the algorithm system, but some random system with social media.

It would lessen the divide and polarization.

Now for last, I want to bring up the election. My mind keeps wandering over to the campaign and how candidates behave. But I want to keep it to the election.

I know it hard to change the constitution is hard to change, and it should be. But I have to say, "I feel my vote doesn't count here in Idaho. Most states sit up as the electoral college votes to take all. I would like to see it broken down into a percentage. Maine and Nebraska are set up this way.

At this time, it would not change the election result in Idaho. Voting should be right, not a privilege. And easy to exercise one right to vote. I have no issue with showing essential identification at a poll.

I hope you respond in person. I wish you a blessed day.

Just finished reading American Jezebel. It was a good book. Anyhow it seems that if a female sits bound and stands up for her own ideals. It is considered a Jezebel. I have just started reading The Country Diary of An Edwardian Lady. I also went to my local library and asked if they could find this book through the inter-library, The Essential Writing of Sabina Spielrein: Pioneer of Psychoanalysis. My goal is to read 24 books this year. I have a FOURTEEN list over at GOODREADS.

Question time...Any one book I should add to my reading list?

I would like to watch all the films MERYL STREEP has been in. I've seen five of them. I'm trying to choose what actor I want to see all of his work. Another thing I would like to see all of ORSON WELLS's work

I got all of February things done in my bullet journal and the first half of the March calendar

Today Is Thursday January 26 2023, This Is What Happen.

Typing, or should I say. I'm starting my blog post this morning.

I did get my letter to the editor sent off.

I have begun my letter to my elected officials.

I aim to send the letter before Monday, the Thirty of January.

Look like a full day at work.

I found this site called RANDOM QUESTION GENERATOR, which looks like more than this one. So I will answer three random questions.

What unpopular opinion do you have? Oh my, I live in Idaho! My thoughts and opinions are unpopular. Let's see if I can come up with three of them.

There should be a basic income.

Nothing should be totally Free

There should be a sugar consumption tax

What is your bucket list this year? To retire and get back on some projects.

Pancake or waffles? Either, I like to add different things to the mixture. For example, I put a banana in my pancake the other day.

Encourage to keep in touch with elected official.

Here is a copy of letter to the editor I wrote. As I promise.

Coffee is on and stay safe

I'm hoping I'm wrong, but some elected people only represent one side of the coin. And possibly don't want to consider it—those who might have a different side of the coin.
I do not believe that none of us is a bonafide type cast.
Depending on what the issue is, we fall all over the political spectrum.

Now the election is well over, and those we voted for or might not. Those we elected are meeting at our local level, the state capital, and or the federal capital. They need and should hear from us. So I'm asking all politely to get hold of your elected officials, regardless of whether you voted for them.
Let them know what is going on in our lives, dreams, hopes, concerns, and ideals. It doesn't matter whether our political, faith, and or ideology lines up with those we send off to represent us.
It is also essential to keep in touch with our elected officials though out the year.
We can communicate with our elected officials by e-mail, letter, and phone. I'm sure their other means as well.

But we won't have a primary and or general election until 2024. When a candidate is elected, they represent many and various constituents. So I encourage one to keep themselves informed on what is going on—by using more than one source.
Yes, I'm planning to e-mail my elective officials.
As constituents, it doesn't end on election day.

Today Is Monday January 23 2023, This Is What Happen.

I sorted my art supplies and organized our first open art and craft section. I will have the hang of it after time goes by.

The main thing I will be working on is tags for my four granddaughters. And the other two projects I will be working on are embroidery and the outline of my hand.

The gel pens I ordered are on the U.P.S truck, and hopefully, they will be dropped off today.

Good News, there is a date for the bedbug to be sprayed. So I need to take Regis somewhere for five hours. Well, it is this coming Friday.

I finish my letter to the Editor and will send them to the local papers this Wednesday.

I also started my letter to my elected officials. My three so-called subject is Abortion, Education, and Election.

Idaho is one of those states that is super pro-life. But I like a good challenge.

Dinner tonight is roast beef, and I will have a little horseradish with mine. Were also have baked potatoes, and I will put margarine on them.

Today Is Sunday January 22 2023, This Is What Happen.

Trying to figure out how I want or need to handle my work week. Since Regis place has bedbugs. I'm careful how I do my job, so there is no chance I will pick up the bedbugs. I know they're creepy, although these bugs care about no known diseases.

Usually, I go over to Liz first and then to Regis. After that, I go home, put my clothes in the dryer and turn it on. Then jump into the shower.

But this week, Regis has a doctor's appointment at 10:15 Monday morning.

At first, I thought of going home and showering. Putting on different clothing. I could do that, but I didn't want to. Once I'm home. I want to stay home.

So I text Liz and see if she has any issues. I come in between 7:30 and 8:00 in the morning. Work till about 9:30

Still waiting for an answer.

I hope to get in some walks this week. The treadmill is boring. Planning to have 4 light, naughty eating days this week. I know Tuesday will be one of them. No Mondays! But I will do the other three days I should plan out.

I got my letter to the editor written out. I want to sit on it for a few days. Then, since Wednesday will be busy, I will copy and paste it for my blog post.

It is about "Encouraging to keep in touch with the elected official." I'm unsure what I want to write my elected officials. I want to keep it down to three things. First, I know a lot is on my mind in our world.

Well, it's Sunday. And it is the day I go back through my comments and use them as part of my blog post.

Let's start out with BRAIN HOME, and he always leaves positive remarks. But here is what he said on my blog I'm... glad your doing your crafty thing, you'll enjoy it, and I know you will enjoy retirement time with your hubby too... I'm sure I will enjoy our retirement years. Confession time...All of our married life, one of us worked, or both of us. I never understood a married couple who spend 24 hours a day with each other.

It is suitable for retired couples to have an outside interest.

Everyone's hind site is much better than their front site. I wish I had taken up arts or something to express my feeling much younger. Feeling was well enshrouded.

Liz of LAW OF GRAVITY, and here is her comment...Looks like it was a reasonably nice walk...I have yet to hear much about the weather coming up. I plan to take a short walk on Monday since I will be done early. Before I come home.

The last one is CAT EYES, and she left this comment over on my blog...I get about $900 a month SS. It is to make it even before all these utilities have gone up. I'm lucky to live in my brother's house...The house hubby and I are living in were where my mother and I inherited free and clear. That is really our saving grace. We only qualify for some of the safety net programs. I still have some of my inheritance from my mom. We're trying to hold on to it. Who knows what will come up. Plus, neither one of us is a big spender. Did manage to put some away. Although only a little. Both of them made small wages.

So we get a break on our property tax and help with our utilities.

I'm going to check a new blog through the way of K-TEN First time stopping in at CATS-ASTROPHIC.

Also, like to share today from ROYAL COLLEGE ART  2022 art show. The artist is REGIMENT.

Today Is Saturday January 21 2023, This Is What Happen.

Today I will have time to visit more blogs. Usually, on a work day, I stop by ten blogs. Wednesday, I see a few extra bloggers. Well, when it comes to the weekend, my days off. I try to stop by my blogging reading list.

Start to pack my art supplies box. The first box is more or fewer clean-up supplies like table clothes. Well, I'm using plastic shower currents, which I cut in half. Then I will also bring a full one to put on the floor just in case it is needed. Next, some old miniature towels, a blow dryer, iron containers, smock, and I'm sure I will forget something. But one thing I know I need to get is masking tape.

The other two boxes will be such a thing as creative things, such as crochet hooks, paints, magazines, papers, brushes, pencils, ink pens, glue, crayons, and such.

Although at this time, I'm still determining what I will pack in the other two boxes. But I'm sure I will figure it out.

I'm considering working on some valentine tags for my granddaughters. Then, if I have time, I can work on my giant crochet rug, embroidery blocks for Claudia, and my trace hands. I'm sure I will figure it out.

I'm excited and nervous about having to open the pearl for crafts.

One of the reasons I'm retiring is to spend time with my hubby. And my next full day off of work will be on Fridays, starting in April. So I won't let or choose to lock myself into any obligations.

This morning for my well-being, I ate a sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on english muffin for breakfast. Then for lunch, it was leftover beef stew with veggies. And also went on the treadmill for 8 minutes.

I did a little reading this morning. Did a load of washing and bathe.

Our State Senator SCOTT HENDRON is sponsored bill 1003.

This guy is a nut case; he won by about sixty percent.

I'm thinking of writing a letter to the local papers, on how important to have our voices heard.

In our county, we have 6,326, and they're 4,213 Republican voters and 446 Democrats.

Plus, Hendron also represents a good part of Bonner County. Down there, 26,967, 15,259 Republicans, and 2,874 democrats

Yes, and they're other political parties. I don't know how many RINOs are here. I'm one of them.

Well, I think those like Hendron would be happy if our area became GILEAD LAND.

I have been looking at some art from ROYAL COLLEGE ART 2022 show.

Today Is Friday January 20 2023, This Is What Happen.

I wanted to take a break from social media yesterday. Which includes blogging.

Thursday, I went for a walk in town. I start at Safeway and walk about in the area. The reason I start there is because, in that area, it is dry. No fun getting one's feet wet. As I was walking, I decided to take a photo looking west from each of our stores on the south side. Which would be Super One and Grocery Outlet.

Look like I have a low AFFECT of positive. I don't get this. My ANGER is in the middle range. I will admit I do get pissed off. I haven't never ends up in a legal mess because of anger. Supposedly our household INCOME is higher than my peers. I don't know what all my peer income is. But our income is low.

I plan to apply for social security sometime after July.

The average American gets about $1,827. Right now hubby is getting $800 a month, and I should get the same. The average couple's income from social security is around $2,800. So we won't even be close to having the average social security.

Regis is coming along with his place, and Liz seems to be much better.

In April, I will be adding an extra day off, Friday. I brought up to Murphy about having a once-month yard sale. Some places call them tag deals. We should be able to hold six-yard sales.

I decided not to organize or host anything on Fridays. I want to spend time with hubby and on the home front.

Finely over on ancestry, I got all of my great grandparents Elisha and Cynthia's children put down. Together they had nine children. Two died before they were six years old. Both of my Great Grandparents were married before. Elisha was a widow, and his first wife, Marinda, had six children. Look like only two or three made it into adulthood. My great-grandma was married and divorced. She and her first husband had one child. Look like they had sixteen children.

Today Is Wednesday January 18 2023, This Is What Happen.

Midweek day off, it sure nice only working four days a week. Hubby and I went senior center for lunch, and the main course was Salisbury steak.
Then we went down to see about our water bill. Hubby sat in the pickup. He doesn't care to walk on concrete. Bonners Ferry downtown main drag is about 3 blocks long.
Well, I forgot to pay the October bill. So now it is all caught up.
After that, we stopped at the store, got 4 items, and came home.
Later on, I will be going to my art insight class. I need to find a better word than class. I should call it art insight exploring.
I decided to take a day off tomorrow from social media.

Today Is Tuesday January 17 2023, This Is What Happen

I'm having a red beer, beer, and tomato juice. When I was younger. In my teens and twenties, I never cared for red beer.

So I'm now sipping on one. But, of course, by then, I did drink underage. But, come right down to it, I drank more under age.

Regis is doing a good job helping.

I know he has his limitation.

The issue today was finding boxes. The ones we found in town; we're already broken down. So we had to rebuild them.

Tuesday is my weigh-in day. No loss, just a slight gain of 0.2 pounds. I can start taking walks in town. Still have ice and slop issues out here in the sticks.

Now it is time to adventure over to geneomelink. Today I'm going to take on three physical traits. First, it says I don't Communism a lot of calories. What are a lot of calories? I heard the Olympic swimmer Mark Phelps ate something like 10,000 calories. Second, I know when I'm stressed, I will eat more. These are usually unwise choices.

Hip to waist size. I have a big rump compare to my waist.

It says I have wet ear wax, and that is spot on.

Birds of a feather flock together.

Each kind attracts its own

Cut from the same cloth.

I'm not saying we bloggers have some of our individual personalities. Opinion time... These idioms are close to our blogging friends.

The other day I went on a blog hunt for someone who tends to lean conservative. I'm sure they have their everyday sorrow and joy. The only thing I could find was strictly politics. I do bring up politics, but not my entire life.

Today Is Monday January 16 2023, This Is What Happen

I kept wanting to post on these three happenings here in Idaho. DAYBELLMURDER IN MOSCOW, and GREATER IDAHO

The Chad Daybell is a story of a man accused of killing his first wife and remarrying. Then convince and look like he did. That his new wife Lori's children (Stepchildren) were a zombie. This happens in the southern part start, near Utah. Chad Daybell wrote several BOOKS. Looks like our local library carries some of Daybell's books and others about this doomsday couple. I don't have an interest in reading any of his books. But I won't go as far as I will never read them. There is a better chance of me reading Prince Harry's book Spare. Although if you plan to hold your breath on any of this. There is an excellent chance you will hit the floor and start to breathe again.

There was a murder of four college students in Moscow. A college and farming community. If the college closed down, I wonder what MOSCOW's population would be if there were no university there.

Well, a student is being held in Latah county jail. This student is working on his Ph.D. in criminology. I did hear one time what his thesis was. It's like "How people act when a violent crime happens to them."

I must mention that the suspect is a student at Washington State University. Which is across the state line about ten miles from the University of Idaho.

I wonder if this person possibly did other murders and is perhaps a serial killer.

Moscow is about three and a half-hour drive.

Once again, there is a group that wants to redo our borders. One place I wouldn't move to is eastern Oregon. There is about as nutty as some of those who live in North Idaho. Instead, I recommend going around Spokane. Still, it leans a little more to the conservative side.

I still want to call my son Sawyer and see if he knows what his county (Jackson) thinks about hooking up with Idaho.

I was talking to him about our local bookstore. Sarcastically, he wonders why there is a bookstore in Idaho. Since no one can read here.

Our bookstore does pretty well here.

Well back to the new Idaho. Well, then there is a group who try for their own country of REDOUBT

Country isn't the correct term to use.
