Not Neither

Weigh in at our local T.O.P.S went well. Our entire group had a no gain week. Although a few in or group maintain there weight.
Anther lady and I weigh and keep track of our members.
Confession time....I'm uncomfortable receiving any type of rewards.
I was the third person to weigh in and I was down 1.5 pounds.
Trying to figure out how many was there but that doesn't matter. I'll say there where 8 who weigh in.
I was start to panic that no one lost as much as weight as I did. But our last weigh in I believe was down 2 pounds.
So I was delighted someone lost more then me.
But on the other hand I have the same feelings if I gain the most weight for week. I just like to coast long with out bunch hullabaloo.
Once I get back to 217 I believe from the thrift store for a weight lost. I'll pick up some jewelry. I swear I must in past life had some reason I wore real jewels. I can look and admire them for hours.

Work went well the only one was Regis. The management is having an exception tomorrow at Regis place he get subsidizes for his rent. Once a year he sign some papers and they do a walk though it takes about 5 minutes.
Took him to speech and I went down to the hospital cafe and read the SPOKESMAN PAPER Well this article on REFUGEE it got me ampped, didn't blow a fuse.
It's been a while since I stop in at STARBUCK there a little pricey for me. But once month I could purchase a little something there. This article I find CONTENTMENT. I understand there those who in favor of President Trump policies is avoiding starbuck they have some type of hash tag to avoid starbuck. Not this girl. #waytogostarbuck.

Now it would be good time to tell what our weight lost group is doing. We're going to have a small contest.
The group decided to have a simple contest four small things to work on. After next meeting I'll give a better run down. But I know one was a point for every 15 minutes of solid exercise.
We also start to keep a graph as a group. Our entire group lost 5 pounds this week.
I was thinking if 10 people lost .75 pounds a week by the end of march we would of lost 60 pounds as a group.

Month is over now we're heading into February and less then two weeks I'll be 57. Not sure which social media site I'll connect my blog with for the month of March.

Who Knows What or Why

I'm one who believe giving a hand up. And my son Bart had some pretty cool sock on. Need to mention I was visiting him yesterday. But the main reason I went and see the grand daughter.
To find out his mother in law Dana bought SOCK for Christmas. If you notice this company matches the purchases and goes to the homeless. Which I believe is noble cause.
Question time....why does it cost at time so much to help others? I have no trouble paying some one a livable wages, and treating people fair. As I know the world isn't fair/
But to me $12 for pair of ladies sock seem a little steep. Usual I get a pack of sock for $6.00 to $10.00

Since I'm blab about donation I'm still seeking donation for Daisy teeth cleaning and possible future vet bills. There is a link on right hand side of my blog, "Daisy teeth cleaning" Also I'm matching all donations.

Got the bias tape sew on both pocket and one pocket sewn to front of the apron. Finish marking out where the different colors will go on the locker hooker rug.

Not sure what will be happen with my job. I'm not sure what going on with Liz and her ex. For now I'm playing it by ear.

I'll Have To Re Look It Up.

Start to sew on the pockets on the smock-apron. But now I can't recall where I put the bias tape I bought.
I have hunch it in the sack of clothes I got at the thrift store in Priest River. It been a while since I did any real sewing.
So I'm going to have to look at You tube vidio on how to do bias tape.

Fold up the edges on a locker hook rug. My next step is to draw where the shape goes and such. Then start cutting out the strips.

Finish up work with Regis. Went over to Liz and her husband was there and I won't say anymore. Both her therapist and social work knows the situation.

Payday went to the bank. I got two cans I put $20 each payday in ones for my future dream of having a ceramic shop. The other is for Ms Daisy and I also have a go fund account on the right side of this blog called "Daisy teeth cleaning"
But I forgot the money today for both cans. I can get it Monday.

One thing I honest don't know is what we spend on food. My friend LaWalla says her food bill runs about $600 a month and she a single lady.
Maybe in February I'll keep track of it.

Today I talk LaWalla about her pricey medication and I believe I got the wrong info. I don't see why a parasite medication would be so expensive.
Like I said her diet is hard. She hauls her water she doesn't use water of the faucet. Well she was using one of those water machine. They should be wash out daily the dentist office have to do flush on there water line daily
This is where she figure she got the parasites. From one of those place you fill up your gallon water.

Every so often I dream about my ceramic shop in my basement. I know it won't happen to I'm 60 years old but still it ok to dream.
One of the things I would like to is every month take five piece greenware, bisque, and finished ware.
And have the money go to a charity of some type. I got this ideal from watch some news feature on television, OREGON PUBLIC HOUSE

Some People And There Choices

Statement time...I wonder about why people make the choices they do. I don't think I told you all about Liz marriages and there quite a few. I don't know the exact number let say it more then five.
She still married and after three days he left her and she haven't heard hair or hide of him for about 8 years. But she was drunk and had to be held up when she got married to him
Last night he got hold of her. I only can go by what she told me about him. Doesn't sound like a real nice person.
This person who abuse and assaulted his parents. Spend time in Utah state prison not sure for what.
I know her social worker and her been working on her getting a divorce and other stuff.
Last night he called and says he on the way and invited him to stay and she told him she would help him. I guess he looking to live off the grid. It fairly common there plenty of anti government people here.
As I'm not train in mental health area. I was wonder if her social worker or therapist know about her up coming visitor. But as I was there her therapist called and want to some out to see her.
But to find out she did tell her social worker and she must of contact her therapist.
What I gather Liz ex has no empathy or compassion.

My last BLOG POST was about my friend LaWalla one medication that cost $13,000 haven't talk to her lately to see what it is. But I know it has some connection with West Africa.
It good thing she is on disability and it bought by the state.
I could go on and on about how our disability program works. Statement time....There plenty to be skim off the disable.

I wonder why there called "Pro life" they had a march today. which is in our constitution. But me I call them "Pro fetus" the heavy duty ones. I meant seem to be against any school levy they have those vote no sign in there yards. No birth control funding. And forget about food and shelter.
I usual vote for candidates who tends to help those who might need hand up. Sure there is reason for people getting snap (food stamps) and Statement time...there plenty of wrong how the snap program is operated.

  
Unless LaWalla is coming this way before Wednesday. I won't see my camera until I go over to Troy.

For Shame

I had every intention to naught eat naughty foods. I only did two had two small piece of candy. Which I have no guilt about.
But as I was shopping at Super one. Before I went I thought of getting some tomato soup with basil.
But notice I was running out of time, so I got a kid cone for quarter.
So bad of me.
Breakfast...sausage, eggs, and bread
Dinner...fish, rice, tomatoes, and green beans.

Talk to my friend LaWalla after work. I knew I left my camera in her car. But also found out I left my coat in her car. One thing I'm not short on is coats.
She my chemical sensitivity to about everything.
I was telling you went over to Newport and she had a doctor appointment.
The doctor gave her three prescription. One of her pills is costing $13,000. Not sure how many. No wonder she on disability.
I thought my client $2,500 medication is ridicules.
On the way she show my book on fabric Jewelry. It looked interesting. Maybe some time down the road I can try jewelry making.

Stop over Alice to see if she want to go over to Troy to see where the place to take the quilting class was at.
I know it not far from LaWalla place. We're planned to go over on Wednesday the first to find out she won't be home.
So I need to get back with Alice and see what will work out. LaWalla has an appointment with her natural path, that day.
So I'm not sure when I'll get my camera back.

Yesterday I was ask about the photo in my BLOG POST. Well RIVER is right. Haven't yet taken them out of the package. But looks easy enough to use.

My fabric I order came. I was hoping it was a stronger color but it will still work fine. Never order fabric on line. But I was please with the quality.
Order a few garden seeds. Not many we still had quite a few left over. Some thing new we're going to try to grow is Cress.

More Simpler Post

Just had to say both side of bed in political arena have the moment. Once while those who are stuck or choose to be in middle. Will make waves good or bad. Now it time to move on about my day.

But I thought the price on bias tape would be a lot more.

Maybe Or Lease Attempt.

The other day I made a statement on this BLOG post “I can only recall twice that our area of Boundary County every Protested any thing.”

I forgot about the SYRIAN REFUGEES and our town. I didn't attend but those who oppose got shout down and heckled.

In a couple of weeks after a small group of people marched against bigotry. I was there...It was some what scary. The people with opposing side, walked the street with there guns and such.

A few threats though social media. Nothing came of it.

Wish I had a photo of this one guy. I call him John Wayne position . My hubby and I was talking to a friend of ours. Since there plenty of people standing around with guns...She ask both us if we felt any safer with these people in there guns...I had to say “Not really”

There was a person behind our friend. Having that stand when ones in Western Movies or shows. Looks like we was ready to draw. Statement time...It sure made me a little un-easy. Right down scary not sure if he was going to shoot or not.

I posted a cartoon simple I couldn't fine a real photo of gunslinger.

There been protest in our country for a long time. The conservative side of our country is acting like they welcome President Obama when he got elected with open arms. I recall a different attitude.

I recall Senator MCCONNEL wishing for President Obama to fail.

 

 Some decades have more MARCHES and don't let anyone fool you the conservative has march for there causes also.

Now do I want Trump to fail. Opinion time...I believe his policy is questionable. I have some what a hard time getting behind the tea party ideals. Confession time...I want the tea party to fail.

But at this time it looks like the Tea Party got there way.

Confession time....I'm worried, and my husband also worried more then me. How possible our country might be heading.

 Got back from Newport Washington with my friend LaWalla she had a doctor appointment. On the way though we did some shopping. Most of it was window shopping.

Both of us our low on funds. My friend is very chemical sensitive. Her entire diet is organically vegetation.

She spend some time at special hospital in Dallas for her CHEMICAL SENSITIVITY Her and I are the same height and when she was down in Dallas she weight 80 some pounds

I never ask but she told me for her alone she spends about $600 on food alone. That not including soaps, paper products, or supplements.

Her place is subsidize and she pays a little under $60 a month. I know she got a four hundred grant to help her pay for her utilities. Not sure how long that will last her. In past Murphy and I got and energy grant which last us 4 to 6 months.

She on disability and her monthly check is just over $900. At one time her and I split the hours with Regis and Liz. I said if you need to come back to work I would give up one my clients. They get the same amount of hours.

She thanked me but she going to see what else she could come up with. She has an older car and she would be driving in from Troy Mt.

Dinner...ground beef gravy over potatoes and greens

Travel...stuff grape leaves, and some type of wrap.

In So So Thought

Thought I would get my post up earlier then I usual do. This evening I'm going to watch the PBS show  VICTORIA As I'm watching I'm going to hook the red fabric and put it in ball.

I want to stay away from religion and politic my choice. I was ask about living in an area which have snow.

The only time I stay in side is when the weather is so blast it cold. In the single digits. Don't know if they still do this or not.

When I was growing up they would block off certain hills and even county roads that would be sledding hills.

Living around mountain there plenty of ski resort. Actual I'm fairly close to  SCHWEITZER I've never snow boarded but I did ski when I was young.

There also ice fishing, ice skating, snow sculpting, and also sort of things today.

Although not all is fun. Like snow removal and house hold chores.

Just talk to LaWalla a short time ago. To see what time she will be around. I'm riding with her to Newport Washington. She has an doctor appointment.

I explain to her most of my shopping will be window expect for a few small items like bias tape which I found out Ben Franklin carries. Then maybe stop in at a thrift store to see if they might have some red cotton fabric.

My hubby needs shoes and some insulate drapers would be beneficial for our front window. What we got hanging it pretty much ratty rag.

Last time I wash them it fell apart.

Any how I believe he going to be shock on the price.

But something needs to be done.

Since it Sunday Daisy got her Greenie treat which she loves. We even out and played fetch. I guess this is a good time to remind people I'm still collecting donation for Daisy. There is a link on the right hand side of my blog called “Daisy Teeth Cleaning”

  Minor house hold chores today did up dishes, one load of laundry, did the floors, and picked up. But one thing I should put some effort in finding a matching pair of slippers.

Protesting What Can It Prove

I can only recall twice that our area of Boundary County every Protested any thing. I know it been in the news march on washington

Question time...what is there march about? I have no trouble people marching for a cause even if I don't agree. There such marches as FRY ARMY, WOMAN SUFFRAGE, RABBI MARCH, PROMISE KEEPER, MILLENNIUM MARCH, TAX PAYER, MARCH FOR LIFE, OCCUPY WALL STREET, FORWARD ON CLIMATE, DEMOCRACY SPRING, or the MARCH ON WASHINGTON.

But looting and vandalizing isn't petitioning your government.

 Statement time...I didn't vote for Trump and I don't agree complete on electoral collage most state like Idaho is winner takes all. Sure here in Idaho Trump took not quite 60% of the votes. But Clinton took Just over fourth of the votes.

Then the rest was under 10%...I don't see why Clinton a lease didn't get one of the electoral college vote from my state....Opinion time...I feel my vote was waste of gas here in Idaho.

But I don't see .marching and protesting because he won. But if a policy bothers you petition your 

government.

It simple my candidate didn't win. Does that mean I should be Marching because I didn't get my way.

Sure I been watching his policy and I do keep in touch with my elected officials.

As for my home area. Like I said I can recall a protest and walk out. The local educators marched once when our governor visited our area.

My youngest Bart was still in high school and came home with wide eyes and said “There protesters and they even have signs.

Ages ago one of sawmill went on strike.

But the town just south of us is having a MARCH 

Start to cut some red strips for rag rug. It's a little harder to fine red fabric. I could go to a store that sell fabric but I have trouble with the ideal of paying $10.00 a yard and something that ends up on the floor bothers me.

I went though my tote of fabric which I bought at a rummage sale. Seeing what I could fine in possible reds.

I took these few piece out.

I did find a nice size piece I could use in the quilting class in Troy. And there other colors that would complaint it.

If I was a senior the class would be free. But still have to pay the out state fee of $15.00. So my friend Alice will pay only out state cost of $15.00 and I will pay $35.00.

Still not bad.

Monday I'm riding over to NEWPORT WASHINGTON LaWalla has a doctor appointment there. She said she going to stop at BEN FRANKLIN in Old Town. They do have a good selection of fabric and there prices are about the same as our local one here.

Since I bought the aqua and yellow at wal mart. Order a bias tape makers kit, and order coral from

FABRIC DOT COM I'll have to wait a before I purchase much more. 

I have enough fabrics for quite a few projects. 

But I'll ask if she has the time to stop by a thrift store and see if they have any red fabrics.

We just got our gas heat bill. Just under $73.00

It Hasn't Cause Any Calamity Yet

Got a new President. I figure for a lease the weekend the social media will be crazy. Decide to stay away from facebook.

This month of January I been posting a link from my blog. I could every figure out who see what on any these social media site.

I start to cut some fabric strips and roll them up in balls. These are out of a bed sheet. Nothing like up or recycling

Murphy been taking care of place around here. Right now he doing dishes. Yesterday before I went to work I held the ladder so he would push the snow off the roof.

Notice some hollyhock seeds sitting on top of snow. Sure will be a while for hollyhocks.

Yesterday both of my clients and I went to the luncheon at our local United Methodist Church. They had a nice turkey dinner with mash potatoes, gravy, green beans, and salad. Plus dessert, and drinks.

They do put a nice lunch. It every Thursday.

Then I found out there a church on South end of town and on Friday evening they offer a free dinner and movie.

I believe tonight movie will be FLY AWAY HOME

If I knew about it early I would taken my clients to it.

Try to get them out other then doctor appointments. There is a difference being some place and going someplace.

Took Regis to Sandpoint we stop in at Walmart he got two super hero collectible although I couldn't tell you who was super hero.

I want to get some fabric for my up coming locker hook rug.

Soon as my coral comes in I'll post a photo of my three main colors I will be working with aqua, coral, and yellow.

But I know it will be a bit before I consider getting other fabric for Sawyer and Betty rag rug.

I took him to the Library to get some dvds.

Eating been going ok I feel. Even went on the tread mill for a short time before I went to work.

Is It Going Away

Usual in January we have what we call a "January Thaw" the entire gamble of weather. From temperature in the 50's (10) and down below 0.
In thing falling from the sky. Haven't yet seen it rain cat or a dog.
But one thing for sure there plenty of ice. I would guess a lease there increase in people falling and fraction a bone.
Now that a JANUARY THAW

Its rare I work on Wednesday both of my clients have group. Only Regis went. So I spend time with Liz.

Now back home front Murphy shovel off our shed/garage. Snow is shrinking and becomes heavy.

Over on my face book page I ask...If you had a chance to talk to our up coming President (Trump) what would you say in 45 words or less.
What bothers me there not showing respect for the office or President him self. Confession time...I even have trouble showing our up president respect....Or maybe it people who vote for him.
They never show our last President Obama any respect.
Even now I've heard some older resident in my area making rude comment about President Obama race.
Luck it isn't that many.
I worry about our democracy and out control capitalism. At this point I can only see more division between the income inequality.
I sure hope I'm wrong.

It Won't Be In The Next Few Days

Murphy got Daisy stitches out. I'll keep it short on this post. But here is a LINK to Daisy fund raiser. I match all donation and also been sticking $20 away from my paychecks.

I've heard a lot of pro and cons on Greenies. Question time....Does anyone have an experience on Greenies or Dog dental stick?

Don't ask me why it dawn on me, that I need to send my last quarter taxes in. I around up to the nearest $5.00 dollars after 15.3% off the top of my paychecks and mail it to the United States Treasury.
Enough about taxes for a while. We here in United States files in April.

Now I'm trying to figure a color scheme for anther rug. Right now I have orange and purple in mine. But I would like two other colors to compliment those two colors.
I know it will be a while for I order.

I'm some what a history buff. I'm a buff about a lot thing. Not an expert on much of anything. Not a know it all.
I been watching VICTORIA the queen of England way back when. An only child and I'm an only child also.
But it seem strange that her MOM never left her daughter Victoria side. Sleeping in the same room.
Understanding that her DAD dad died when she was young.
Then they all seem to hanky panky on the other.
I wonder how many HALF SIBLINGS looks like her mom had two other children by her first husband who past.
But her dad had a few mistress in his time. I wonder how many children he actual had. History says Victoria was only child.
And her mother so called tied the apron string to her daughter.
What sort of fear did Victoria mother have that she had to be with her like that?
Wonder what sort of angry Victoria have toward her mother?

I thought my side had some genealogy nightmare. I only ran into a cousin marrying anther cousin. It was something like first cousin twice remove marrying each other. That was once way back in early 1700's.

Get Excited

Not sure how I'll start today posting. I know one thing I'm going to try to avoid is political and religious stuff.

I didn't sleep well. So took the day off from work and took Daisy out to play fetch. Actual we went twice. Our shadow was quite involved.

When my sleep pattern was off a bit. I start to watch the PBS Masterpiece VICTORIA Instead of going to bed after the show. I got on the computer to seek my question about the Royals. Some got answer and other didn't.

She kept quite the journal and letter writing. Wonder what she would of done if computer was back then.

To me the royal family sure seem as dysfunctional as any other family. It also got me wonder if all us does some type of psychology damage.

Now for my eating habit.

Lunch...Beef broth with beef chunk over potatoes and carrots

Dinner...Brats, Mac and Cheese, then also a green salad.

Got my health insurance paid. No mail going it Human Right Day what we call in Idaho. But some places call it MARTIN LUTHER KING JR day

Also some of the banks aren't open today. 

It slip my mind but it a good thing I remember before the 17^th. I need to send in my last quarter of my taxes in.

For now I'm going to stick $20 from my pay check for Daisy teeth cleaning. But I would like to fine a different tin to place the money in.

Like To Leave Politic and Religion Alone Until Wednesday

I was ask about our sale tax. So I'm going to answer it directly and give my opinion how it should be. My blog and my thoughts

Our sale tax is on everything we buy and the rate is 6%. Which includes food. I've heard tells that our elected official may be trying to remove it off of food.

At present time we do get a food tax credit or a refund up to $100 per person.

Personally I would like it remove off of food and increase it up to say 8% on everything else. Opinion time....It a regressive tax on those who are at the lower end of the income scale. They pay a larger percentage of income on food.

Every client I have had. I learn something from. See people even when they became middle age can learn.

The other day I learn about MCFARLANE of many figurines

Looking at pattern instruction of apron smock. I notice it has bias tape. Confession time...Had to pull up a you tube video to see how to sew it on. Because I didn't recall how to sew it on.

I don't believe I have any bias tape around here. But there a few places I could take a look. Then I'll check with the local fabric places. For a small town we have 5 places that sells fabric.

Then it will be toss up going to Walmart and our close one is in PONDERAY a 21 mile drive. (33)

but I've looked at getting a bias tape maker. But not sure how much I would use it or if nothing can be found local I would end up driving down to Ponderay Walmart.

It seem I do have a good diverse amount of friends though all sort of social media which includes blogger. Farthest would be New Zealand and Australia. Close one would be my neighboring state of Montana.

It looks like I follow or have more contact with female bloggers.

Looks like I'm the only blogger who listen as Naples and for North Idaho 123 bloggers although this is just what listed with Blogger. I know there is other site like word press.

Small But Necessary

Didn't feel like blogging yesterday. So I didn't. Today for January the weather today has been not as cold.
So the dog had a chance to chase the ball a bit. Which total her thing and I don't mine tossing.
I don't know why but as I was tossing the ball I look up in our birch trees and saw a bird house.

Payday for me! Went and pick up my car cost was just under $160 for lens cover for a tail light and $24 was for labor.
Pick up Murphy cholesterol medication for a 3 month supplies it $30
Got the electric paid.
Still have to pay my health care of $73.00 part of Affordable care act. I wonder how much longer I will have insurance. Sure glad I don't have any major health issue.
Now waiting for the rest of the bill to come in.

Like I said I got paid and none of home care workers got a raise in four years. Still making $12.43 and hour.
The company I work for is set up for that I'm a self contractor. So I handle all the taxes. Right off the top I have to take off 15.3% and stick it under the so call mattress so every quarter I round up to the nearest five and pay UNCLE SAM 
All in all time every thing is take care with my obligation to Uncle Sam I make about $10.43
My next paycheck will be when Trump will be President and maybe I'll get a raise. Not holding my breath

A few things I been figuring to do when it comes to budgeting. It been a slow for donation for Daisy teeth cleaning.
I figure I could stick $20 in a jar every pay day. By the end of August I would save $300
But I'll still match the donations. There is a link on right hand side called "Daisy Teeth Cleaning"
Daisy does get her teeth brush in the evening.
Then on the 15.3% is to cover my social security. I pay both employers and my part. If I recall I paid about 2% tax to our federal government. Nothing to state of Idaho, we did receive our IDAHO TAX CREDIT
But most states doesn't charge sale tax on food. Wish Idaho would remove there and even increase on non food items.
So instead of 15.3% thinking of increasing it to 17%

Today we been doing small things around the place. I got the snow people finely but up. Dishes and three loads of wash.
Trying to get the table clear off. Still a few small items need to be taken care of.
Murphy got in a little more fire wood. Clear off little bit of roof from snow.

The other day Murphy sprinkle chalk from a snap line. So it will make it easier to see. There no contrast when it comes to snow.
Fairly easy for one to drive into a snow bank.
Our mail person did it the other day. But after a while the neighborhood got her going. People mail after our road was late.

One thing I need to do is oil my sewing machine. Stop in thrift store yesterday and didn't see any fabric to make the smock apron. They had a piece of orange that would of worked. But I didn't want to look like the great pumpkin.
Haven't yet open her up and see what she can do.

But I did get this book for $5.00 at the thrift store that had the orange fabric for sale. I painted flowers on rocks but I think it would be funny to make a fairy community.

My decision is to use a top sheet for the fabric. I sure I wouldn't bought for this project.
Waiting for my rug canvas. It was to be here yesterday. But it stuck in Portland Oregon. They had 10 inches of snow.
When it snow on west coast things come to complete halt. But it will come sooner of later
My first rug doing locker hook I decided my third color will be a coral and the other two will be aqua and yellow.
Which was made a while back.

Roast beef, chard, and some type of potatoes for dinner.

Do What You Can

First part of today post. I'm going to post what I stuck in my mouth.
Breakfast...eggs, sausage, toast.
Lunch...went to Methodist Church lunch. Some type of ham soup, salad, slice of bread, and brownie.
Dinner...Chicken, pineapples, and rice.
Naughty food...cookies and kept it under control.

Just can't bring my self to purchase fabric retail to make that smock apron. Which I post POST YESTERDAY
If I can find some good quality fabric less then $5.00 a yard. No way I'm paying $10 a yard. It takes a little over 3 yards. $30.00! which I won't do.
But yet haven't check the thrift stores or my tote of fabric I got at rummage sale. And then I have quite a few top sheets with no bottoms could use for the apron smock.

Been burning papers from 2016 that I don't need leak out, and cause me all sort of headache.
 I just wish the company I work for would get there tax info out quicker.
There usual the last one we receive. Made a little over $15,000 working for 2016
We have accountant do our taxes. Way to much stress for me.

Work same ole thing. Now trying to get Liz out she seem to have a ARORAPHOBIA. At one time she didn't leave her place for six months.
Then she has other troubles. Pour thing I do feel sorry for her.
She seem to be interesting in making videos and maybe a lease we can do a little filming outdoors.
Then Regis is looking for MCFARLANE MONSTERS. He has a smart phone and to me it would be easier to look for it on my lab top.

It Work Out For The Best

I couldn't even image a cover for a tail light, simple plastic would cost us $120 and that used. Sure would hate to see what one would cost new.
It had to be order the way my tail light is. Sooner of later I would get a ticket. Friday I have an appointment to have put on.
Mainly want to make sure it sealed.

Took Regis to Sandpoint to see his doctor. Not know and also thinking a plastic cover would be around $50.
But since some how Regis bank card got froze up. So we had to get back to his bank here in Bonners Ferry and see what is going on.
So no extra time to shop. After finding out the price on a tail light cover and haven't yet wrote out monthly checks for your regular living cost.

Anyhow what happen to Regis account a while back ago he had to replace with debit card. Forgot to get hold of couple of accounts and suddenly there was to much action for was monthly habits.
It only took less ten minutes to undo it.
So now his bank account is back to normal.

See I was going to pick up aqua and yellow fabric at walmart. But like I said it work out better that I didn't.
My other color I'm strongly leaning to his a coral color.

Not sure when I'll get it. Still have to figure out on our January bills. Electric is $72.12 and for my health insurance it $77.12
Then I know our water bill is $41.00 and the natural gas will be coming around the 20th of month for our heat.
And I'm trying to recall when our internet bill is due. That quarterly and that $177.00

I believe this will be my next sewing project. Not sure which one I will attempt. It been a while since I tried to do any real sewing.
But I thought it would be an easy project and see what my sewing machine can do. The only thing I've use was to hook strips of fabric together. But since I learn the Technic of splicing and slipping the two end together, a lot less sewing.
But 3 of your choice in the pattern shows you need interfacing and since I haven't sewn I believe I will skip these choices.
I will check the thrift store at the far south end of town. Last few times they had a pretty good selection of fabric.

I see the pattern retail for $10.95 When I took home economics in school one could still purchase a pattern for under $1.00
I actual got this at one of our local thrift store and got it for a quarter

Eating and my health habits been slipping a bit. No I actual they been horrible. It seem I eat cookies out of control.

I believe the best reason to live in a small community if you need to take care of any type of business from A to Z it usual go smoothly.
Regis card was back to normal in 10 minutes and we talk to one of tellers at his bank. Super nice lady.
Then getting service done at our local hospital also goes as easy. And stores you get wonderful service.
I probably wouldn't see eye to eye on majority of people in my community on political or spiritual matters.
But I find some reason our local people are kind and friendly people and would give a helping hand out.

Here We Are Still

Still trying to located my Grandma Olive Grandfather who lived around Philadelphia , now I'm looking though the KENSINGTON  area. So far no luck.

My car is high center in our drive way. On snow! We're not please with the guy who plowing out our driveway so it time to look for someone else.

So in morning not sure what exactly we're going to do. But will get out, maybe with some brute force. Hopefully not.

Work went ok. Got Regis phone going. It was issue when he had to get a new debt card.

Some how he broke into a rash and had to take him to the emergency room. Our hospital is pretty good getting you into it quickly.

Not sure what rash is from. They gave him so medication.

Thankful he has both medicare and medicaid. Pick up the bill. I've never seen a bill out of emergency room for under $400.00

Hopeful the medication they gave him will get it under control. Did make an appointment with regular doctor for late Wednesday morning.

One thing else Regis and I did went to is one the thrift store. I bought a flat white sheet with little tiny flowers on it.

I'll be using it on Liz rag rug where the white goes. It cost me $3.00. And for .59¢ got a piece of mainly white fabric.

The red and blues seem easy enough to bump in to.

Anther issue we will need to change before next winter roll around. We keep our fire wood out in the barn/shed. That issue of the fire wood needs to be changed.

To be quite honestly with you walking out even there is a path. One will twist up a back, hip, or ankle.

I had to go out and haul nothing either way.

It was difficult walk and twist up my hip.

But for now we could wide the path a bit would help.

If I didn't speak up about getting my dogs teeth clean I know it wouldn't happen. Like the old saying

Yes I Say and No I Say

Some time I'm clueless what to even blog about. I know my life isn't all that exciting. Confession time...I like reading about other people life and there thoughts.

Total enjoy getting comments. I only had one bad comment all the years of blogging. It was over religion and snob attitude. That long ago and so be it.

Weather is usual a safe thing to blog about. It warm up to 20 (-6) and the dog loves it. Because I will go out on the county road and toss ball a bit.

Since I'm on dog and make this short. Still trying to raise money for her teeth cleaning and any other possible vet bill. There is a link to right hand side of my blog called “Daisy Teeth Cleaning”. Once again I match it.

Still back the weather Murphy and I drove up to visit Quenella up on Katka. She not that far up the mountain.

Some reason when my camera becomes cold it doesn't want to work. So I got no photos. This photo came off of google.

She has less snow then we do.

But she lives a complete different life style. She has no running water and electricity that come from the local power company.

Off the grid living.

Been there done that.

During the winter it can be some what a hassle. Or a pain in rear. It hard work.

The rug I made went to her. She loved it. Looks good in her little cabin. Had a nice visit with raspberry tea and leaves came from my garden.

She makes sachet with herbs off her garden. Every year she makes these candy full of brandy that you can get buzz off. So I came home with intoxicating candy.

Slowly starting to put the colors together for Liz rag rug. I'm doing it in our flag colors red, white, and blue.

So one day last week I went into local thrift store and got start on my stash.

But before I start on her rug. I want to do one for my self.

Thinking about 36 inch (91cm) oval for by the kitchen sink.

Order a rug canvas. So I can do a looker look rug for my son and there wives. One I know will have aqua in it. Question time...what colors look good with Aqua?

The other haven't made up my mind yet.

Now I might be stepping on some toes. Opinion time...I believe people who makes a general healthy choices should pay less for there health insurance, I'm in-favor of a one payer system.

The reason I say this is because being in-home care line of work. Most of what I seen there choices put there health in risk.. I only had two client in past who didn't smoke. Both of mine smokes, and one even has one functional lung.

Eating properly. I've seen diabetics take insulin and just pig  out on refine sugars. Forget the veggies and  fruit.

I'm not anti treat. I had slice of Qunella intoxicating candy when I came home.

But I do try to have well balance food though out the day. Ate some almonds and oranges today

I'm over weight and that should be consider in my health care cost. I have high blood pressure and I believe it from choices I've made.

But I under stand some things in life one has no control over.

These people I take care of has no responsibility for there health,what so every. So soda pop, cookies and candy is ok for there main diet.

One thing I did finely took down our Christmas tree, dishes, and dry a load of laundry.

Yesterday But Today Would Be Fine

Yesterday I wrote to my elected officials from my home state of Idaho. And just couldn't get into blogging.
If any of listen to the news from the United States the up coming President Trump and the Republican wants to get rid of what we call OBAMA CARE and to best of my knowledge the other side haven't came up with plan.
I did my part. But me personal I would like to see a one payer system. I better express here or someone will get there undies in bunch. "I don't think anyone should have a free ride in life" My thought would be expand our medicare and have every one pay 1 to 3 percent of there income for medical.
Opinion time...People who makes bad health choices should pay closer to the 3%. Enough on this. I been on this soap box before.

I have to say I been please with my morning weigh in on our scale. 218 and when I weigh in at local tops I want the scale there to read under 218.50.
When I graduated out of high school almost 40 years I was at 130 or so.

Work been going ok. But dealing with the cell phone company can be as frustrated as the regular land line company.
How hard should get hold of a cell phone company and let them know you had to change your debt card number and give them the new number. So they can pull out the money from the account.
This is what Regis is trying to complete. To me it sound simple enough. But it wasn't been.
So Monday his social worker will be and hopeful she can move forward on it.

He got a few new figurines for Christmas. Hopeful I can get photo of them. I couldn't tell you how many CAPTAIN AMERICA he has.

One of his walls. Every-time or almost when go there. I say..."Isn't that new" and so far it isn't new.

I was hoping it would get up to 20 a lease today. So I could spend little time out with Daisy tossing the ball. We did go out for a very short time.
Since I'm on the subject of Miss Daisy. Still trying to raise money for her teeth cleaning or any other possible vet bills.

Friday Murphy went to the doctor office to get his finger poked. Mid December he went and had a physical and his blood work on his sugar was high since he was fasting. It read 140. So they want to anther reading.
Not sure what this one will be. I figure they call Tuesday or Wednesday and let him know.
As he was living the clinic backing out of there parking lot. He hit a bumper of van and knock out tail light on my car.

Finish up the rag rug I been working on. It measurement are about 60 inches by 48 inches. This is the biggest one I did.
Evening dreaming I thought it might be interesting to replace the rug my dinning room table set on.
Actual my next one will be for the kitchen in my home, by the sink. A lot smaller then then this one.
Not sure of color yet.

On the weekend I don't wear my pedometer. The only naughty food I had was kid's ice cream. Dinner Murphy made stuff green peppers.

Reading an earlier post from “AM” and her post is on BLOG LURKING There are those who a blog stalker. Confession time...I've been one of them, a blog stalker.

Stop in and never comment. It seem there two reason I don't comment...Is either post is to intelligent and don't want to sound like a idiot...The other reason is it just majorly pissed me off.

I call them my coffee pals. The blogs I visit on regular bases a good variety of souls. Different ages, sex and thoughts.

When I'm visiting my coffee pals I will jump over to one of there pals and leave a comment.

But before I move on about my day...I stop in at YAM and from one who left a COMMENT there and has a GO FUND ME PAGE for some vet bills.

Main reason Liz need to talk to her social worker in private. With out her brother in law Regis. So we went out he had a caramel roll and I had coconut cream pie. Both of us had coffee. This was at the CHIC N CHOP Afterward we drove to up to Community thrift store. Both Regis and I got a few items.

Not much more to blog about. I could talk about the weather...It still cold cold cold here in North Idaho.

Our Experience and Genetic Shapes Us.

The other day I POST about my father temper. And how some responded. But we all respond different to a situation.

Doing in home care after a while. You get to know about how we as human are different. I've find us we all go though some type of adversary. Opinion time....The result ending results for everyone is sure different.

It seem like Murphette always struggle with relationship her mother, and seems to be stuck there emotional.

One more example I can think of, Is Donna who was so angry with relationship of men, including her dad. That she made her self so heavy, over 400 pounds.

Like I said we're shape by our experience good or bad.

Daisy had her growth remove yesterday. Didn't have it biopsy and vet said it was a simple attach thing. On the bill they use term “wart”

The main reason I didn't have it biopsy. If she had some type of cancer we wouldn't treat it. She is an older dog, about 12.

She would live out rest of her life. Anyhow the vet didn't think it was much of anything.

The bill was about $350.00 and I took $175.00 from her “Go Fund Me Account” to help pay for this last Vet bill.

We didn't have our weigh in at our local T.O.P.S group. I'm guessing becomes it so cold here at this time.

This morning we had 9 below zero.

I weight my self this morning when I first got up. I was at 216 (97.9) and had morning coffee, got dress

and decided to re-weigh my self and the scale was at 218 (98.8) still happy under 220 (99.7) If I can start my 2017 first weigh in under 220. To me I believe that something reasonable to be at.

Breakfast...BLT sandwich.

Lunch...toast with peanut butter and cottage cheese with blueberries.

Dinner...tomato soup with basil, chicken breast, and little bit of cottage cheese.

Naughty food...Hostess snowball and Hershey candy bar.

Work day. Took Regis to his doctor appointment. They got anther doctor at the pain clinic. One of them Opinion time...Is a horse ass.

I felt this doctor listen to Regis not treat him as he has Leprosy. He had one doctor here local treat him. Things happen and his doctor change her practice and no longer was Regis primary doctor.

So any treatment he need had to go into the emergency room. Finial two of the physician got him list of all the doctors, and nurse practitioner. Between our county of Boundary and Bonner the one south of us.

A list of 30 of them. Not sure if he actual how many he actual went and seen.

But the last one on list would take him.

See he also has PANCREATITIS and he takes MARINOL for his pancreatic. And it big hassle because of the T.H.C in it. First of all our state of Idaho being ultra conservative frowns big time about any part of marijuana, and it illegal federal too.

So it big hassle for doctor to even prescribe it in pill form.

Maybe I'm not surprise how many doctor who are family practitioner aren't willing to take on mental ill.

As he was in Sandpoint we went to library. He stop at some game store to get some super hero figurines.

My self I went into Walmart to get cheap drip coffee pot. This morning as Murphy was making our morning coffee and cracked the pot.

So I got coffee maker in $10 range nothing fancy.

Regis ask me to look at what they had in figurines. I also want to look at the fabric and price it.

Almost done with crochet rag rug only three balls of fabric to finish.

Been looking at fabrics to make a rug doing locker hooking. Two things I've decided is one of the rugs base color will be aqua and I won't pay over $7.00 a yard.
