Today Is two people birthday, who passed. And I think of them often. My mom and Gene.
I went to town to get a few photo. On the left is hop and I would guess these hops are for the brewery. The brewery is close for remolding.
Went to the senior center for lunch, Not that many there. They had some type of pasta salad. And it was great. I even brought some home in zip lock bag.
Stayed for water color group, as always he did flowers. I shouldn't use the word always. We always don't do flowers. But quite a bit we do.
Murphy and his sister is on the road back home. They went to Rock Spring Wyoming. He will stay the night at his sister place, and come home tomorrow.
I'm hooking up with WORDLESS WEDNESDAY
Coffee is on.
I'm sorry for your loss. Happy Heavenly birthday to your mom and Gene.
ReplyDeleteThe pasta salad sounds very good. Great on hot days.
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Hugs as you remember your Mom and Gene. I hope Murphy has a safe trip home.
ReplyDeleteSafe trip home to Murphy.
ReplyDeleteFrequently (painting flowers) certainly can feel like always.
ReplyDeleteTough day, but you got out, which is good.
ReplyDeleteYou've had a bit of time alone and probably happy to see Murphy when he returns.
ReplyDeleteMust have been a sad day for you. Tomorrow is going to be fine.
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts are with you on this sad anniversary.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. My mum is gone too and the date is easy to remember as a grand-daughter was born the same day in the same year.
ReplyDelete...it's good to get out and about!
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing a Hops field near the airport in North Dakota, it is an impressive plant. There is a single row of them in the lower farm at Mt Vernon, beer brewing was common in Colonial America.
ReplyDeleteDear Peppy, pasta salad sounds good—I’m glad you enjoyed it. I think painting flowers is good for the soul; perhaps that’s why it’s such a frequent topic in the watercolor group.
ReplyDeleteAll the best from Austria 🤗

I hope Murphy had a good time with his sister.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite the stand of hop plants. I've only seen them cultivated, on supports. Hopefully Murphy had a good trip. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
