Today and like most Tuesday. I give a self assessment on my well being. I never know if I should start with the positive or negative part of my week. If your wondering why I get the United State flag and our Idaho state flag. Either Tuesday or Saturday I like to take walk at different place. Well I went down to the fair grounds. I had every intention to walk up to falls with Regis. But he wasn't up to it. So we went for drive though the game reserve. But later on I took a short walk around one buildings, but did two laps. This is door way to our main exhibit. I find changing one habit doesn't happen over night or snap of fingers. I notice I nibbling a lot on refine sugars. Mostly at work. So far so good. "I Dora, will try hard not to eat any refine sugar treat at work. The only time I will eat refine sugar treat will be one day a week in establishment.
Our local park at the fairgrounds. I don't think all the negative or positive needs or should be drag though the mud. Now for negative
1. Wasn't consistent on my water drinking
2. Didn't record my health habits
3. Ate to much refine sugar at work
That will be a welcome wedding gift. I remember a craze for knitted dishcloths a few years ago, every blogger was busy making their own, but when I knitted on I decided it was too pretty to use for washing greasy dishes and now it is a mat on a cupboard.
ReplyDeleteThose exhibit buildings look very smart and well maintained.
Don’t worry about the sugar. You will continue to do better every week
ReplyDeleteWould love to see the dishcloths when your done. It sounds like a wonderful weeding gift
I think it's great that you have flags flying so proudly in your country, here it is discouraged/frowned upon and can be interpreted as racism which is so stupid. I am craving sugar at the moment, luckily I love oranges so eat a lot of those.
ReplyDeleteThere is so much sugar in everything. The refined sugar is simply the icing on the cake, so to speak.
ReplyDeleteGood for you, on the walk!
ReplyDeleteMy water drinking is never consistent Dora, it seems such an easy thing to do but yet I definitely do not drink enough water. Refined sugar sneaks into so much store bought products, home made is best. Don't give up Dora ✨
ReplyDeleteGood to get out for a bit.
ReplyDeleteYou're making a very thoughtful gift
ReplyDeleteOur Dad eats too much sugar sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI think kitchen stuff like dish towels are a great present for a newly wed couple.
ReplyDeleteA lot of our struggles are similar! But.... one that is different is water. I have become fully successful in consuming MORE than adequate water..... because I can really feel the difference. I would bet if you forced yourself to drink the good quantity of water you need.... every day for perhaps two weeks, you would feel the tremendous benefit and it would then become easier to maintain.
ReplyDeleteWhile I know that folks say not to eat refined sugar.... I am like you..... but I do not feel it is really all that horrible if it only some of your calories.
PipeTobacco
I, too, have my issues with sugar. I'm craving ice cream right now.
ReplyDeleteGinger nut cookies are my favourite. Hard to find good ones here. We have Arnott in the supermarkets but they are so hard, they can crack a few teeth!!But their flavour is good so I dip into coffee to soften them. Positive and negative energies daily for me too. I think your basket of kitchen goodies is very thoughtful, even more when it is home crochet. Well done
ReplyDeleteI always start with the negative, that way you can close it all with a smile.
ReplyDeleteGood goals you got.
I think the wedding gift you are making and getting together is a very good idea.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
