  5. Two classic movies will be remake and the stars who plays in the movies will do a better performs then the original stars (Not counting “True Grit”)

  10. If the ultra conservative (Tea Party or John Birches) pushes and get over 50% of there agenda though their will be major uprising in our social programs. Will see some protesting in streets. But not like Europe.
  11. The last cold snap will be May 3rd don't be surprise if it in 20's. Then for the summer heat we will have a record breaking this summer up to 106. But the majority weather will be on warm side but not overly hot. Just 3 days of extreme heat (This is for Boundary County)
  12. Some well known second hand store will have increase in the number of sale but not necessary the dollar amount and will be on a news show like Chris Matthew show, Fox news, or News hour.
I totally forgot to do my prediction for 2010. I was briefly looking back to my prediction in the other years. I think or I better way of saying it “I flunk out”
Now looking back at years past .
So if one wants to take a look at my past prediction
09 07 and 06
I would have to say I got two right in 07 #3 and #6. honest time...totally clueless on how I really did.

I'm not even sure what word I would use for my own out look for 2011. Confession time..I'm total clueless what or need to do for 2011.
Let face facts I could make a list of needs and wants.
This may seem strange and I don't even have a total reason why. But if I set a timer let say 30 minutes and set goal to work in certain area. I accomplish more.
Some good example would be
Set the timer for 20 minute and go though the 3 drawer container. First get rid of any paper that isn't needed, clean off paper on top place proper spot, and etc......etc.....etc
Set timer for 20 Minute remove everything from the hutch dust the entire hutch but before that take nick nack to kitchen sink and wash nick nack place in drainer. As the stuff is drying one can actual do a deep dusting.
Set timer for 5 Minute. Sweep steps to the basement.
I'm total clueless why I feel like I get more done this way.
I should strongly consider setting a timer more often.

Those I Take Care and Their Pets

I'm basket case!!! Both of my medicaid Clients are having really trouble. Both of them thinking I'm there rock.
One of my client found out she has cushings and the other may have to put her dog to sleep. Editor Note..Not sure when. Both are struggling in their own way which is under standing.
Confession time...Sometime I wish I wasn't caring person. I think my life would be a lot easier
All three of my clients have pets. I wonder about people who don't have a pet. Even a gold fish is fine.

Donna has Rex who will be 12 in April He is a mutt but quite loveable. He same size of a golden retriever. Sadly he is having some hip trouble and knee trouble. Although with his hip he moves fairly well But at time he has muscle spasms and stiffness of the muscles.
On Monday the December 20th I took Rex with me to put fuel in Donna van. Paid $3.05 for fuel and headed over to the fair grounds and went around the horse barns and all looked well. That the farthest thing from the truth. I high center the van on snow and ice. Well I took a hike with Rex back to the fair office got hold of my hubby. Then I called up Donna and told her whats going on.
We went back and I tried getting out the van and start to rock it back in forth but notice I was making progress of getting out backwards but only 3 or 6 inches at a time. I then it would high center or something. I kept repeating this pattern. But between times I would read some magazine from I believe is 700 club. I read the one on Advent and New Year Goals and or Resolution. Then as Murphy showed up and somehow I put it in reverse and out we went.
Statement time...The day Rex is gone I worry about Donna but I also worry about my self.

Murphette has her little dash hound opal and her kitty Violet. So they pretty much entertain each other what else does and puppy and kitten do. As for youngster they do like to put on show. Opal helps me with things such as going to mail box and taking out the trash.
Murphette every time she goes into the store she buys this dog something and I'm not speaking of food.
Statement time...Murphette struggle with living skill in some many areas.

Faith has a cat for ages. Everything needs a name and her cat name is Kitsel. She pretty much like Faith her owner. Cats aren't as depended on others like dogs. Faith isn't depended on other much. She would be the same age as my mom if she was alive. Faith would be 9 months older then my mom if my mom was alive.
After driving Grace around we come over to her place and have some tea and some type of treat. Well Kitsel makes sure to get on table looks at me and makes sure I pet her and these usual satisfy her. Rarely when I arrive she has anything to do with me.
Statement time...Faith sure isn't afraid to rock the boat.

I wonder about people who don't have pets or animals. I haven't yet took care of someone who didn't have a pet.
Tuesday evening like most evening I wrap a few gifts. Well I got stuff bear which will be going to one of above. Daisy fallow me down in room which I keep the gifts and she peaking around the door away seeing what I'm doing. Thinking I'm doing her gift up to put under the tree.

I was reading some of my coffee pals and notice Hooten anni
is giving away something. I'll tell you the dates but I won't tell you what it is because I can't spell it. The closing date is Christmas Eve so it still going on.

Photo Hunt (Male)

OH GOOD LORD..I thought this week photo hunt was circle I had something prepared. Then I looked an saw this week theme was male. The only male we have in this home is Ziggy as for animals I do have a husband but I don't consider him an animal even when I'm tick at him Statement time....I've considered a lot worst. I gave birthday to two males. Both of them are moved out now one of them is 19 and the other is 22. So it Ziggy who is a well like cat in neighborhood because he catches quite a few rodents For more info on the photo hunt visit tn chick
One thing about my job I truly like is when I get to go for a walk with Rex. Well we went up to the three mile and head down Moon Shadow road which I believe is the name but I knew it goes west. I did a car walk for a short distanced and I felt that there to much traffic and it made me uneasy.
So we went back to the lacy cap Mennonites church parking lot and went for a walk

This is looking up North

Then we went down dist 2 road a nice easy walk. I have and Uncle and Aunt that lives down that road. No we didn't walk that far.

I started to wonder when they built this building. All the years I known it be there I never known it be in use.
One can see fade sign which offer mechanical and welding.

I made a different type of green smoothie. I base this one from a salad I like “Waldorf” but add one more ingredient.
Place in a blender. I did some chopping because I have a wimpy blender compare to vita mix. But it dose the job.
½ cup of water.
1 celery stick chopped into 1 to 2 inch pieces
1 apple cored and slice
2 walnuts pre chopped
2 dates pre chopped.
Blend well this makes about 1 cup of smoothie.

I real like the consistence of this smoothie.

The other day I found a recipe I like to try not sure when. Statement time...I don't know how long it would take me purchase the ingredients simple reason are resource are limited and time

Grand "Yule Tree" Fir

We got the tree up and trim. I admire color theme and style theme to Christmas tree
but at this time it's not for me.
I guess that reason I like a variety of things such as bloggers, facebook friends and interest.
Statement if one keeps doors open one can learn and grow.
Yesterday I was briefly in home depot returning a spray nozzle for the kitchen sink. I was briefly looking at fake trees.
At this time there terrible expensive a friesier fir is $225 and yes I heard some are in $500 range. But after Christmas they should be marked down and if the friesier firs are less the $100 I'm grabbing one. Statement time...I'll pay for it.
I saw one in the goodwill for I believe was $20.00 which I'm not sure I want.

Confession time...I have some emotional trouble with fake tree each tree has it's own story. I feel with a fake tree the stories are to much a like.
Lot the stories will start something like this. Once upon a time in room in the far corner stood a tree 7 ½ feet in height then the first part of December once the Thanksgiving dinner is well settle in one stomach out comes the tree which had a long summer nap___________and so forth.

Every year Murphy and I tramp though the woods. This year we went out on the bench which the snow got wet and we just sunk. Confession time...I wouldn't be such a party poo if it was better conditions.
So Murphy went on his Aunt property and grabbed a tree. This time it was on short side just a little taller then me. But like I said every tree has it story. Just like people.

We became soft. We lived off the grid for quite for years and some winters we had to hike in. One Winter I believe the year was 1995/1996 Bart
was in Kindergarten and his brother Sawyer was in Second grade.
We had to pull in supplies both Murphy and I had sleds. On my sled was Bart and others stuff. We got to our home and no Bart. So we walk back up the road and there sat Bart in the snow bank just laughing.
This is the new ornament for 2010. My friend Quenelle and I where in the goodwill doing a little shopping.
Confession time..in thrift store I have to use lot of self control such bargains and cool items all though out the store.
This year the economy is not doing all that well the news media compares lot of the data to the Great Depression of the 1930's
But for $2.99,plus I like it!I also got some cards to send out for 2011. I had to open one to finish off my cards. Plus stuff toys for the pets to tare up. Their family members. I got our boys something from the goodwill. Can't say what it is.
Let me tell you I could spend more then $50.50. $50 in Goodwill might seem like a lot but $40 of it on the boys gifts.
I didn't put all the ornaments on the trees. I have some cartoon ones from when the boys were young.
Like Sesame Street gang I believe it Oscar the grouch and the Cookie Monster but we have other ones too.
For the tree topper this year is angel I have no reason for picking that over the other one. I tried to stick it on the leader branch of the tree and it wasn't going to stay there. So I just sat it on lower branch. Both Murphy and I liked. So Murphy made her silver belt out of ribbon so she would be more stable.

Photo Hunt (Funny)

Rosie uses the tower of the computer for her bio feed back. I don't know if she actually gets some type of pleasant vibration.
It looks like she smarter then me. I pay money for bio feed back and so does that makes me a funny fool or not? I could be sitting on tower “Oh I would break it “ and that wouldn't be funny.
I thought her expression was funny so I thought it would be a good theme for this week photo hunt.funny

I found a raw meat loaf recipe and decided to give it a try and also Kale-Walnut Pesto Pasta
(RAW MEAT LOAF)
2 cups of walnuts
1 red pepper
½ cup sweet onion mince
½ cup celery mince
1 tomato
2 garlic glove
1 tsp of onion
dash of oregano
½ miso
dash of salt and pepper
add all ingredients to food processor pulse chopped until that it looks evenly. Place meat loaf on platter and serve. http://www.therawdivas.com/blog/2010/12/recipe-of-the-week-i-cant-believe-its-not-meat-loaf/
(KALE-WALNUT PESTO PASTA)
½ bunch of kale stems discarded and leaves coarsely chopped
1 pound gemelli pasta
¼ cup cup chopped walnuts, toasted
1 glove of garlic
½ cup of grated parmesan cheese, plus more for sprinkling
salt and pepper
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil.

  1. In large pot of salt water, cook Kale until tender, 4 to 5 minutes. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the kale and rinse with cold water. Add pasta to pot and cook until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/3 cup of water. Return the pasta to the pot.
  2. Meanwhile, squeeze the kale to remove excess water. In a food processor, combine kale, almost smooth; season with salt and pepper. With Machine running, add the olive oil.
  3. Add pesto to the pasta, along with enough pasta cooking water to loosen the pesto as necessary. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan
Things been going on I never got a chance to try the Kale-Walnut Pesto Pasta. Due to number of unforeseen events.
One of my clients and friends is in the hospital. Not sure what went wrong but I know her sugar account was up to 1,500. But her left arm won't keep still. So more test!!!!

Plus finding and getting a Christmas Tree. I can't find the stand we want to use.

Murphy gets frustrated quite easy. He always said I handle crises well and if there was a sinking ship he always said I could keep a level head and get everyone off. Question time...why is there time I feel like a real basket case.

Our son Sawyer and his cousin Sam has a snow removal business. They decided to sale the snow plow which Sam own and Sawyer is the owner of the truck that the plow is hooked to.
So Sam went and got the plow and the road where icy and he slid into someone. We have insurance and information was exchange.
The policy is in Murphy and my name so we reported to the insurance company and said that the truck was in a fender bender saying that our Nephew was driving the rig.
Now we get a letter from the insurance company wanting us to fill out this paper work. Thinking we as Murphy and or I was there. Even draw pictures.
Murphy was all stress out over the letter from the insurance company. I said I would stop in at LaMars and get larger envelope and mail it down to Sawyer which at this time I don't have Sam address.
So Sawyer then can give his cousin the paper work so he can fill it out since he was involved with the wreak.
Doesn't this sound like the most reasonable way to handle it? Murphy got hold of his Nephew and he going to call the insurance agency up and see what he can do.

Now back to raw meat loaf first of all I would called something else. There a few things I would do if I was actual cooking meat loaf is cook it at 350 in the oven for an hour or so.
But all in all it was good. Confession time..I did little tweaking to this
I didn't get a red pepper because of the cost. I thought I was adding Jim Nardello frying pepper to it but instead of I grab some hot pepper mix out the freezer. Used about a good Tablespoon. For little bit of red flake look I add about teaspoon of beet.
I would be a little careful on the amount of onion I use which could easily over power I add a little bit of leeks to it. I swore I had some garlic but couldn't fine or actual don't have. So I add season called garlic pepper. Total forgot the tomatoes.
I left out the salt because it had Miso which add a nice finishing flavor. Then air head me I would say a blonde moment but I can't. I total forgot the celery.
I decided serve it with apples which compliment the loaf. Anther way I would serve it as a stuffing for celery. I don't know if I would add a tomato if I was going to use it in stuff celery. If one decided to use a tomato I would start with a small amount then add more as to get a texture I desired. With to much tomato I'm afraid it may be to loose to stuff celery with.

Weather Report (November 2010)

The warmest day was the 7th at 59.5 (15.7)
The coldest day was the 23rd at -15.7 (-26.5)
Average high for the month was 38.7 (3.7)
Average low for the month was 24.0 (-4.4)
Snow fall for the month 22.5” (57.1)

I made a green juice which I think I'll call “SPARK PLUG” not a hot plug but more lighter zing.
½ an apple if there on small size go head an use whole apple
1 cucumber
2 radishes. If you don't have radishes ½ inch of d ikon (1.2)
1 inch of ginger root (3)
3 kale leaves
4 celery stock

Put ingredient though the juicer. Note..I would like mine with a little more zing I would of put more ginger root in.
This juice makes just under 16 oz or pint (0.4)

Now on the organic! Statement time...we can't afford to buy organic. What I do is fill up one side of my sink with cold water put good squirt of basic H in water

Place my veggies and fruits in basic H water them lightly swish around. In the next sink I have a sink of cold rinse water drain, remove veggies and fruit. One can repeat the rinse as you feel comfortable with.
Statement time...I like to work with dry veggies and fruit so one can place fruit an wrap kitchen towel or paper towel to soak up moister.

Photo Hunt (Hard To Find)

This photo hunt theme is Hard to find. Confession time...I was wondering how I was going to do holiday gifts or a better way of putting it “I'm disappointed that I can't pull off Christmas like I planned.
As you know unemployment is quite high in United States as Murphy works in tree nursery and it seasonal job and it been ruff side in tree business.
He been drawing unemployment which is fine and most year he doesn't draw it all out before he goes back to work
He's drawing his unemployment from 2008 claim and still have about 4000 left in claim and he thought we had clear sailing to first of year which he could open anther claim. But he got a letter from Idaho department of labor and saying his last check will be December 4th
So for the entire month of December we will be on my check. I make enough to cover the base bill we live a frugal life style. No cell phone bill, cable , satellite, newspaper, net flex, we're still on dial up and that $10 a month. Actual we have 4 bills a month which is Northern light the once that keep lights on, Cabinet Mountain Water which is our water bill that a $40 a month, Avista which is natural gas and we been heating with wood and that bill is under $25 a month, and phone bill which a land line and that under $20 a month. Like everyone else we have insurances, taxes and maintaining a home
Our monthly bills come to about $200 a month.
So maybe it isn't going to be such a hard Christmas. No we can't get the boys the digital camera like I would like to.
But I get the wrapping and bags after Christmas and picked them up at yard sale. Statement time...even use wrapping from packages. I don't iron wrapping paper!!!!
Then when it comes to Christmas cards I had plenty left over and there where different place I got free ones.
My son Bart is in strange size when it comes to jeans he wares a 31 inch waist and it seem easier to find jeans in even sizes
So this year it looks like each of the boys I will be spending about $120 each. Now for the outside gifts I'll have a calendar made up for the family holiday white elephant gift exchange and everyone else is getting books and most of them I bought used and in excellent shape.
So it sure don't look like Christmas is Hard To Find.

I'm leaning more to a raw food style when it come to eating. No, I'm not going a 100% raw...no way at this time or any time in the near future I would eat a raw chicken that isn't cooked well done.
But I made a smoothie which I call ABC smoothie but it had texture of a pudding.
I use Mountain High Yogurt and turn it in a greek like yogurt. I notice greek yogurt is about 50% higher then non greek yogurt

Place a coffee filter in bottom of kitchen sieve and place a bowl under the sieve. Dump the yogurt under into the sieve on the top of the coffee filter.
Place in fridge and let drain. I usual let it drain overnight.
Note..If you don't have coffee filters paper towel will work but I prefer coffee filters
The whey will be in the bowl under the sieve go head and drink this it actual good for you. Then place what is now greek yogurt in a bowl with a lid for future eating and use.

Now for the ABC Smoothie

Place about one cup of greek yogurt in blender.
Place 2 to 4 apricots in the blender. Please take out the pit. Confession time...I didn't have any fresh apricots so I had use some from home can
Place a full Banana in blender Statement..Don't forget to take off the skins
Place a fourth to half cup fresh cranberries
Those who don't mind something with a little bite to it one could not use the yogurt.
Those who feels like they want to tame ABC smoothie may want to add an extra banana
. Statement I try to avoid can cranberries all I have seen in cans have high fructose corn syrup in them.

Now for the caffeine intake. Well I'm almost finish with caffeine intake ending at 2:30 in the afternoon. Confession time....It wouldn't be fair if I went “cold Turkey” to anyone around me. So on Monday the 6th my caffeine bar will be closing at 2:00 in the afternoon.
If any of you are wondering what I'm trying to eat and have more healthy life style and not be coming some kind of a snob.

There two giveway over at blog world that I know of one is at Peas-chocolate-giveaway and also Diane ramblings-merry-christmas-give-way

If anyone wondering why I'm not using the html doing my blog. One day it wouldn't come up and I went over to compose and now it won't let me get back to html

Today Is Thursday, March 28, 2024: This Is What Happened.

I have been putting together my bullet journal for the second quarter. I’m so thankful for the white-out. I almost made a calendar for the ...
