51% turnout in a primary is pretty good. I live in a blue state but a very red district. Voting would look like that.

ReplyDeleteWhile 51% seems good for a local election, I find it said that 49% of the people just don't bother. Perhaps that's what the real problem is in our country. I just don't know; but rise of the crazy scares me to death. Someone told me in Brazil it's mandatory and people are fined if they don't vote, interesting idea. But, then if those that don't vote have no clue what or whom they're voting for...what's the point. Go Blue, Go Democracy.
