Today Is Tuesday, May 21, 2024: This Is What Happened.

I had planned to take my artist trading cards today before we went to the senior center for lunch. I stuck them in my purse and then couldn't find them. Purses need some type of lighting system.

Well, when I get back from Oregon. I will take them down to the local art gallery.

At the senior center, we had pork kabobs. They were good, but my complaint was that there weren't enough. Usually, they have plenty to eat, but sometimes, there is too much.

It's good. We have a few things from the food giveaway, but not as many since we will be gone for about a week.

My therapist suggested I write a letter to Gene. Who died. In some ways, it improved my mental well-being. I felt like Anne Frank was writing to her Kitty. The person she wrote about in her diary.

I've been doing fairly well on my bullet journal. In the last few weeks, I've dropped anywhere from .75 a pound to 1.50 pounds. I'm happy, and I'm not starving. I'm doing my version of intermittent fasting. I don't eat breakfast until after 8 in the morning and stop eating at 5:45 in the evening. Plus, I don't have morning snacks. I do have a snack between 2 and 3. This afternoon, I had some cherries.

Once I get back. I want to get Liz's attention; hopefully, she will be on board with the idea of a bullet journal. It can be beneficial for her to beer and smoke. When I was her caregiver. She had money left over at the end of the month. A six-pack of beer and smokes (20) runs about $14. That is what it was when I was her caregiver. Well, I don't know what the cost is now. Like everything else, it all going up.

Vote this morning in our primary election, and a sentence or two about it. Plus, a link. Before we take off to Oregon.

Coffee is on.

  1. A six-pack and smokes for only $14?? Here in Australia, she wouldn't get much change from a $50 for those. I like the trading cards.

    1. Her monthly income is $943 a month. And her beer and smoke habit runs around $420 a month. Not quite half of her money is going out to her habit. Not trying to be mean. I'm sure have my short comings.

  5. When I make my purses, I line them in bright orange. It makes it easier to find things inside.

I think it can actually be good to write to people even after they have died.
