Small things just kept happening. Nothing major. Couldn't get to blogging.
Yesterday, I was generally on the sore side. If I sat or stood too long, I hurt. I took a bunch of short walks, mainly around the building on our property.
Saturday, April 13. I was busy. It was all good.
I went for a walk around town, taking my camera and getting some photos. After my walk, I went to my art journal group. I came home and went up to Snow Creek, towards Caribou Creek. Bart was there with his father-in-law, Cyprus. Bart brought his wife, Molly, and their daughters, Claudia and Wendy.
We took a short hike. Cyprus just recently got out of the hospital from heart surgery. He lost quite a bit of weight, and they would like him to put on 15 pounds. He is a tall, lanky man.
Both of the girls got ticks. I've been out in the woods quite a bit, and I haven't yet gotten a tick. Claudia turns eight on April 7, so we brought up her gifts. We also give a gift that both siblings can do together. The parents can join in if they so desire. Something like a puzzle, game, or arts and crafts supplies.
Next birthday is Bree, which is in May.
I got a load of whites on the washing machine. Still above 50 (10 C), almost 60 (15)
Coffee is on.
...those fritillary are nice!

All the best Jan
I did enjoy taking them.
DeleteSounds like a nice walk
ReplyDeletePlus the weather was nice.
DeleteNice photos you are busy
ReplyDeleteI like doing.
DeleteI really like the old tractor outside that building.
ReplyDeleteBack side of our museum.
DeleteThat old vehicle is an interesting find. Hopefully you feel better today.
ReplyDeleteI should look see if I can find a year.
ReplyDeleteI've had ticks a few times. Its nice when there's someone else to screw them out. If not, I put rubbing alcohol on them repeatedly. It dries them and kills them. I think they're going to be bad this year in the woods.
ReplyDeleteHope your pains are soon better! Hugs!
