Today Is Tuesday, March 26, 2024. This Is What Happened.

I took some random photos today. Most of the photos I've been putting on my blog, I got off the internet.

Murphy and I went to the senior center. They served pork wellington, which I did say was pork. Then, pineapples, spinach salad, potatoes, gravy, and mixed veggies are also served.

It was a food giveaway. I got some wraps, and that is what we will end up having for dinner.

I'm down in weight. If I sit too long, my hip bothers me, so I get up and walk around the yard. I picked up our taxes from the accountant. It's all said and done. We owe $18.

Now, we need to start applying for property tax relief. This will save us quite a bit. My guess is that we will get $1550 to $1460 off of our 2024 property taxes.

Took the pickup to the mechanic to get the plugs worked on.

I didn't attend the local sheriff debate or county form. I debated in high school. Well, at this time, I will share two local news sources on candidates running for sheriff: 9B NEWS and BOUNDARY NEWS. I'm sure our older paper, Bonners Ferry Herald, will have an article on the form. I will link their story this Thursday.

Here is a YOUTUBE  video of the debate. I have yet to watch the discussion.

Plus, Idaho once again made national news for its negative behavior; RACIST ABUSE. Kootenai County and Courd' D Alene seem more ultra-conservative than where I live. I'm over an hour north.

Like to share a letter to our editor in 9B News, RUNNING OUT THE CLOCK.

Coffee is on.

    1. Usually the meals are great. Although once in blue moon. The meals come short. Not complaining.

  4. My sympathies, if I sit too long my knees lock up.

  5. The Senior Centre meals sound good. I used to wish I had property, but not anymore, I know I couldn't look after it properly.

  6. ...Idaho doesn't always make the news for the right reasons.

  7. I work at a computer when I work, and my knees will lock up also if I sit too long. I also read the 9B article about the debate. It's a different world from where I live in the East. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

    1. Some of Southern Idaho is bit more progressive. Running Out The Clock is pretty well sums it out. I won't be voting for Hendron.

  8. If it weren't for Minnesota's large urban population we would have the same kind of legislation passing. We have had in the past. Your senior center is a real asset to your community. Congrats on the weight loss.

  9. I'll keep voting against those who attend to lean toward nationalism.

  10. Our tax date is the end of April. I always do the form just in time but we usually get something back. Not so this year I fear.

  11. The flowers are very pretty.
