Here is my take on Snow in.
Yesterday I went to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned. And had an excellent check-up. So I will go back in 6 months. The cleaning cost me around $130, And I drove into town, Bonners Ferry. I went to the courthouse and paid the property taxes of $317. On the property taxes, we get a discount, because we're low-income seniors. I went over to the library and returned a book I had borrowed. Then I went to the bookstore and got my granddaughters their Christmas books. I walked over to Under The Sun and had coffee and muffin with Qunella. Looks like she isn't going to take that place. The people lied and said property value dropped in half. Which isn't true.
Over at RAIN, part of her Thursday date, as food and such, is being posted. Hopeful next Thursday. I will have some food posted. Today, I'm making Turkey chili with black beans.
Went to my watercolor class yesterday. I like the picture we did. But I wasn't pleased with my birch trees. So I'm going to work on it.
I'm taking part in THURSDAY ART AND DINNER DATE.
Coffee is on.
...teeth cleaning has gotten expensive.
ReplyDeleteA very busy day!
ReplyDeleteMaking art when you're snowed in (or something like this) is a really good idea!

You're absolutely right -- the best thing to do when snowed in is to make art and have fun!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to keep redoing art until you're satisfied. Or not.
ReplyDeleteThe meme is perfect!
ReplyDeleteSnowed in? I know those days. Sometimes I will bake up treats. Gets the kitchen warmed up. It is nice Idaho has such a deal on property taxes. I don't think there is anything like that offered here.
ReplyDeleteI know the state of Washington has basically the same program. But they have anther name for it.
DeleteThe watercolor class sounds like fun and hooray for a tax discount!
ReplyDeleteLots of activities and fun coffee with a friend ~
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,

Frightful weather here usually means thunderstorms or extreme heat, but staying in and doing art or anything else is a still good idea.
ReplyDeleteGreat you participated in 'Snowed In' theme!
ReplyDeleteWe are rained in here. I hope it stops soon. Never ending seems like. Good excuse to stay in and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteStay dry,
ReplyDeleteTurkey chili with black beans sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI will take any excuse to make art and snow works for me :) Finding the time is the problem. So teeth cleaning , taxes ... everything costs way too much these days. Good that your teeth are in good shape ... stay warm Dora ...
