Frankly, sometimes I'm clueless about
what to blog about. My life is a repeat, repeat, repeat, and more
duplicate.
This morning, we finished filling out the form for
social security. And mailed a copy of marriage our marriage
certificate. The first monthly Social Security check in 1940 was
written for $22.40, worth about $491 today.
For some reason, as in
Social Security, they are adding an extra $35, and I am still trying
to figure out why. It is something about marriage benefits. Not
widows. Many of our safety net programs need to be updated, including
social security.
Murphy and I went into the senior center for
lunch. They had spaghetti.
I made up some more envelopes to
hold my thumb drives in. I created another artist trading card to
take into Tea Scarlet studio for our local community trade.
And
order three items from Amazon.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
..keep being creative.
ReplyDeleteI will.
DeleteHaving lunch at the senior center always sounds like a good option to me.
ReplyDeleteWhen we have lunch at senior, than our dinner is much smaller.
DeleteI should find out if we have senior centres here where I could go for lunch sometimes.
ReplyDeleteThe meals are basically by donations.
DeleteCoffee is on, and stay safe.
Do you feel compelled to blog every day. I post frequently, but I also miss days, and sometimes several consecutive days.
ReplyDeleteI'm hooked on blogging.
DeleteIf you don’t want to write, don’t, if you have something to say, say it. Simple.
ReplyDeleteWise words.
DeleteHey, everyone's life is a repeat. We do the same things on a daily routine. Personally, I love reading what people are doing day to day. My life is pretty boring compared to other blogs I read. But I get great responses and it encourages me to write. I have gone to just 2 or 3 days a week, leaving the rest to comment and read what people are doing. You would be surprised how interesting you are to others. BTW, I mopped my floors today. LOL
ReplyDeleteI guess maybe I should be thankful for my dull life. I won't end up in jail.
DeleteI wish we still had a senior center here where we could go get lunch. OUrs is now renamed a community center and there are classes there through parks department but they're quite expensive.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are stuck, why not blog about a stone in your backyard or something like that?
ReplyDeleteThe senior centre sounds like a great place.
ReplyDeleteYour senior centre sounds really good. Hope you soon have the social security problems sorted out. Valerie
ReplyDeleteI also think that the days are all the same. I am fine again, it's not the first time I fall, thanks to years of Yoga I fall but can get up again after a while !
ReplyDeleteAsk at the Senior Center, about options for retirees. I need to finish signing up for SSA.
ReplyDeleteYour senior centre sounds good.
ReplyDeleteWe have a community centre near to us, they don't offer meals but you can pop in for tea or coffee and a chat :)
All the best Jan
Sometimes it's hard for me to come up with things to blog about too.
