Been busy on the homestead. Getting things done. What I like the best is having choices and more control over my life.
I look forward to doing projects around the place. I can't forget, or it is only fair. That I consider my partner's wishes and such.
Yesterday Murphy and I took a drive in the mountains. We headed up to Roman Nose Lake. This is the first time I've seen so many rigs up there. My guess is that 50 rigs were there. I don't think I've seen over 20 rigs at one time.
I will finish up my Ben Franklin book. I got less than five pages to go. My next read will be Gender Queer.
I went to Tarot and Tea down at Georgia Plaza early this afternoon. Only a few there. 5 of us. The Pearl Theater is having some repairs done. I wonder if the lack of a show was because it was outside. There are some, only a few, in our local area. "White Christian Nationalist" Maybe this ARTICLE will explain things. The guy in the photo is my state senator. He jokes. Plus scary. On the one hand, I want to say more. Then, on the other hand, I don't want to say anymore.
Let's see, I only got a few things to plan. Work on the old garden and scrub the bathroom floor. Monday, I will be taking a morning walk. Thursday, Qunella and I are going to Sandpoint. I still need to make up a list.
Here are some photos of our trip up in the Selkirk range.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
...White Christian Nationalists are a dangerous bunch.
ReplyDeleteI love your flower photos. One of my favourite things to photograph.
ReplyDeleteGlad you’re enjoying retirement
ReplyDeleteThe White Christian Nationalist are a very scary bunch. I suspect that the vast majority of them are male.
ReplyDeleteI love your flower photos.
Head for the hills and take in the mountain air.
ReplyDeleteYou made me curious about the White Christian Nationalists.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty flowers. Makes me even more impatient for spring
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers. Glad you are enjoying yourself.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers. It's possible there was only a few of you at Tarot and Tea because it was outside, the heat might be too much for some, who prefer inside with air conditioning. About your Senator, I would be the same, wanting to say more but keeping my mouth shut.
ReplyDeleteA good day for a slow drive
ReplyDeleteI remember what it was like to be able to do whatever I wanted every day! Enjoy, Peppy!
ReplyDeletePretty landscape.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that retirement is agreeing with you!
ReplyDeleteI love all your flower pictures, they're real pretty.
