Today Is Monday, July 31, 2023: This Is What Happened.

Been doing this and that. I was finely getting things done. Murphy and I got some yard and garden work done. And I highlighted vacuumed, which means I didn't move anything—plus I swept the kitchen and dining area.

Still trying to figure out what going on. But Regis doesn't have a caregiver. Not sure what going on. See. Regis tells everyone a different story. As I understand, he hasn't got his psych pills, and his other support people suggested he talk to his neighbor in the apartment, and they can take him over to pick them up.

It is not good; Regis is not good to go without his psych bills, no less than 72 hours. Someone or he could have dire consequences because he is not on his psych medication. I will get ahold of his social worker and or his therapist to see if he got them. If not, I will pick them up tomorrow (Tuesday, August 1, 2023)

I'm planning to eat lunch at the senior center. If I weren't, I wouldn't go and pick them up.

One of the neighbors informed me not long ago that he walked out in the nude.

Besides some of his things, he could take Medicaid transport or the local spot bus. Well, the odds are 1 to 12, 046 that I will go back. Our county population is about 12,380 people.

I start to read Gender Queer by Maia Kobabe. And I Thursday (August 3, 2023), I will pick up the book "A Separate Peace" library in Sandpoint. And some DVDs. Quinella and I are going down there that day.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

  2. I'm a bit angry that Regis has been left to cope on his own and no one is getting his meds for him. It's shameful. He needs care! I thought they had someone for him.

Hi Dora - I finally got back to my Hutch and can catch up on folk again... have been reading, but my usual of economy of commenting!

So sorry to hear that Regis appears to have been kind of abandoned by the system. You are good to be keeping an eye on him. Hope it works out. Your reading sounds interesting. Continue to take care of yourself! YAM xx

  4. Hope the situation improves quickly. I always thought the systems over there were pretty efficient.

  5. How kind of you to be concerned about Regis. Hope things get sorted soon.

  6. How frustrating that the system is failing him, it takes so little to keep someone independent in the community.

  7. "A Separate Peace" takes me back in time when I read it and taught it. Must be just about 4 decades now.

  10. I thought Regis was squared away. Deep sigh. I guess that was too easy :)

A Separate Peace? Don't do it. Skip it. Find something else... (Terrible, awful book. I hated it. So much.)
