My town had its first “First Chalk the Block.” Our art gallery, TEASCARLET, put it on. It was pretty simple and found. One goes over to her gallery and gets some chalk, and finds a spot sidewalk. And do your masterpiece.
I hope to get more photos to share. Friday, Regis and I went and did our sidewalk art. Hopefully, this will be an annual event.
Yesterday, Saturday, Murphy and I visited the City Beach in Sandpoint to celebrate our number 2 granddaughter, Maud. Birthday, and now she is five. This fall, she will be in kindergarten. Both sets of grandparents were there. I
I even took a quick swim in the lake.
Murphy and I went to the store and grabbed some things. I’m not sharing all that I bought but three miles. The price of a small can of tomato paste of about 4oz (0.1183 liters) was .79¢. 1 gallon of whole milk (3.7854 liters) costs $2.98, And 25 oz (0.7813 liters) of dish soap costs $2.83.
I don’t want to seem like I’m jumping the gun. This should be the last week of work for me.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
...our granddaughters love the draw with chalk on their drive.
ReplyDeleteThe chalk art show is a great idea, one which everyone who can get back up again from the ground can participate in.
ReplyDeleteChalk art can be fun. If you are talented and I am not. Looks like some good local chalk artists up where you live.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are having fun!
ReplyDeleteRetirement time! Congratulations are in order!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with the chalk art party, thanks for sharing. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHappy jumping of the gun to you.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why, but chalk art makes me happy.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to you sweet granddaughter!
ReplyDeleteThe chalk art is fun.
ReplyDeleteHappy retirement. Did the chalk festival have a prize for best piece? That seems like something they should do to attract more interest, although it looks like many did participate.
ReplyDeleteWe have a chalk fest here too. My word some of it is incredible. I wish I had some of their artistic talent. Your last week of work? Fantastic!
