We now have smoke in our area, although not heavy. Plus heat.
Since retirement is on the horizon, it means I have more time to blog. But I have other things I want and need to do.
Question time...When it comes to posting blogs, replying, and visiting them. Please tell me how you handle this.
I post my daily happenings or if a something I want to talk about. Sometimes if I have time, I reply to comments. And I am visiting blogs. On my days off, I usually visit all my regulars. And then I usually stop by somewhere around 10.
I picked a few raspberries. Walk around the house a few times and worked on the quilt block that I had been embroidery. Toss some wet clothes in the dryer and put them away.
The DVDs I watched today were THE PEOPLE SPEAK.
Hi ~ I always respond to those that comment on my blog and I link up with other blogs ~ and that draws in some new people ~ As to when I respond, it all depends on what else is happening in the day but I have blogged since 2006 so my blog has some priority in each day. ~ Hope this helps ~ have a lovely weekend ~

...we had hazy skies and 89F temps today. Hopefully rain is coming tonight. Stay well.
ReplyDeleteI visit regulars once a day if possible. Lately, it’s been hard to do that.
ReplyDeleteI schedule my blog posts for the week. I like to have them done by Sunday (for the week Monday-Friday). This week I'm ahead of the game, and next week's blog posts are all completely scheduled.
ReplyDeleteAs for visiting, I check in once a day. I subscribe to all the blogs I follow on Feedly. I log in and go through and visit all the new blogs that pop up there. At this moment, I have three more blogs to visit after yours, and then I'm done for today.
As I am doing now at 9am I am going through blogs I read where new posts have arrived overnight. I have answered older comments. Late afternoon I usually respond to comments on this day's post, read new posts by other bloggers and finish or start a new post for publication the next morning. I don't normally read blogs at night. I was better organised before I retired.
ReplyDeleteI post every day but ahead of time. I comment to visitors daily.
ReplyDeleteFresh raspberries are so good. When you retire always do what you want to.
ReplyDeleteMmm, fresh raspberries
ReplyDeleteI only blog twice a week now unless there is somethng else I need to say or show. My Sunday posts get scheduled a week ahead mostly although sometimes I get to Saturday afternoon and realise I have scheduled anyhting so I do it then. For reading and commenting, I always do other things first, housework, shopping, read the newspaper and do the crosswords in them, then I open the laptop and turn it on. I read and answer comments on my own blog first, then begin reading everyone else I follow and leave my comments. This takes most of my afternoon and I take a break around 4pm to prep dinner, and try to finish with the blogs by 5.50pm so I can get the dinner cooked to eat while I watch the 6pm news on TV, then I wash up the dishes while the sports section of the news is on and the laptop stays closed until the next afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI post something everyday, but, most of the posts are written ahead of time and scheduled. I will write 4 or 5 posts on Saturday. I have a list of about a dozen blogs that I check daily. I try to leave a comment, even if it is just a random comment to let people know their work has been seen / read. I try to reply to all of the comments on my blog (and to delete all of the spam comments.).
ReplyDeleteI try to visit all of my blogs every day, but lately I haven't managed them all as I am very fatigued because of my illness, all the meds I need to take and old age! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI try and answer all comments but sometimes I get behind if I am traveling or otherwise busy. I also try and say something for everybody that posts on Skywatch Friday. I also post on other memes but don't search the other blogs out. In addition I am very active on instagram and try and stay on top of the people I follow there.
ReplyDeleteAll this takes a lot of time.
I try to read and comment on blogs whenever they post. But sometimes it’s just not possible. I post when I have something to post. Sometimes it’s everyday, like when I was away, but other times I don’t post for days
ReplyDeleteI only answer the comments if I have time.
You will find your own pace
