Today Is Friday, July 14, 2023. This Is What Happened.

I can do a complete blog post. We should all keep our fingers crossed. As I share what going on. Regis got a new caregiver. Just waiting for the papers to be through. It should be toward the end of the month.

Regis likes exploring old cemeteries and graveyards. There is an old one in Colburn, Idaho. Which isn't really a town anymore. As far as I can see last burial was in the 1940s. A lot of tombstone has been pushed over or sunk into the ground. Plus than a lot of old trees fell, and plenty of brush. Also, there has been talk about putting goats in the graveyard. To take care of the brush.

As I explored, I looked up through the trees and took pictures of the skies. So I'm taking part in SKYWATCH FRIDAY. I like the look of the sky through the trees. There is plenty of great photos of skies from other bloggers.

I'm only working two days a week. A caregiver has been found in Regis and just waiting for the paperwork to go through.

On odd days I have been walking in the morning. And then, on even days, I do my exercise. Recently I have been on the stiff side. I feel my walks are taking me longer than they should.

Just recently went to the library in Sand Point and got some DVDs. Going to post only some of them this time. I did get a movie, KEEPING MUM. I like two of the actor and actresses in the movie. Which is ROWAN ATKINSON and MAGGIE SMITH.

Still reading Benjamin Franklin.

I finished up anthers embroidery block for a quilt that will be for my granddaughter. It has been going too slowly going. But I do have trouble focusing. I tend to jump from thing to thing. Rarely getting anything completed. Sitting a timer and making myself focus on what every I'm doing.

Been working in my art journal. The other day we all did a CUBISM at our art group. The eyes, nose, and mouth were done by other artists. The mouth was done by a girl who is about 8 years old.

Some evil was happening with my laptop, and one of the staff members returned it to normal.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

  1. Hey, I am so glad a caregiver has been approved. It makes all the difference. whenever you mention a town in N. ID. I get home sick. Keep your walking and exercises. You might be stiff but moving makes the difference in ones body. My Nan, lived to 104 and she said the secrete is moving. Thank you for joining FFO and have a lovely weekend.

  6. Even just doing a bit of something daily will get the thing done eventually. I need to find something for being stiff, too. I'm sure there are some exercises for it.

  9. I'm loving that skull and how different people did different parts. And I like visiting old cemeteries. It's interesting to think of those in ghost towns. You wonder if anyone comes to visit them specifically. I hope you have a gerat weekend, and take care. hugs-Erika

  16. It is so good make daily sport walking in the early morning, or perhaps, late in the afternoon. Do sport ever is so good for wellness and the.health of the body. Combinating with to eat vegetables and fruits the health increases more.

  17. There are quite a few cemeteries around here look like that. Then someone will decide to get out there, clean it up, restore the headstones and all will be good for a few years. Nice to see you back to blogging.

  19. Thanks for sharing your post on Skywatch Friday.
I like poking around old cemeteries as well. I tried looking at my geocaching site and couldn't tell if there were any caches in the cemetery mainly because I couldn't find it on the map.

  20. I like visiting old cemeteries as well, and the photo of yours is lovely - beautiful atmosphere. Sending goats in is a good idea - we do this here as well as wildfire prevention. The goats are eating machines and eat EVERYTHING. Very nice sky shot.

  24. I love to explore old Graveyards too. There were several close to where I used to live, but haven't spotted any in my new neighborhood. I was born in Idaho, but we moved when I was a year old so I don't remember it. I do have pictures that my parents took while they were there and it looks to be a beautiful place. Your post is fun and your face is awesome especially the mouth made by an 8 year old. Welcome to FFO ... hope we see more of you :)
