Today Is Sunday, June 18, 2023: This Is What Happened.

This isn't a totally accurate statement. "I don't like none of Pablo Picasso's work" Not many of his works I actually like. The ones that come across as misogynistic. It makes me not in a good mood. Then, later time, I would like to learn about this misandry. I start to wonder if I have the same feeling and opinions, regardless of sex.

We blame our parent(s) for our woes in the world. I briefly looked at Picasso and his relationship with his mother. His relationship with his mother was good. Even his father was also good. The only thing I thought was unhealthy between any parent and child. Taking them to whore house. Picasso's father took his son to whore houses.

Remember, this was in the 1800s and in Spain. Also, he lost one sister when he was pretty young. I have no formal training in mental health. But I feel his father might most influence how he treats a woman. The other thing is the death of his sister. It could be possible he didn't want to deal with another female death.

He put a female on petals for most of his life and then kicked them off.

I am trying to remember the last time I grabbed three past posts and wrote on them. I feel like today is a good day for it.

My first one will be from YOGI and his comment...Wow, that letter to Lolita is outraged... I think so too. But I'm glad her daughter will hire a lawyer for her. Right now, their lawyer is involved. But I worry down the road, her landlord will start giving her trouble again.

My second one comes from BRAIN...There is just no explaining anything about Trump... I can't explain Trump either. I hope I don't have to choose between DeSantis or Trump. If I do, I will leave it blank. Idaho has a close primary state. One could say I'm Rino (Republican in Name Only)

My third one comes from STRAYER. ...I don't understand a lot about S.S., but I get twice as much as you say you will get, and I didn't work that great of jobs either in my life, except for the fish cannery, which paid well if you worked overtime and holidays... S.S. is to bring that social security up to $914 or, for a couple, $1371. plus, there are some resource limitations for getting Social Security supplement income. Retirement will be what it is.

It has been a while since I stop in at a different blog. Or ones I continue by on regular bases. I'm going to say hello to SPEAK OF THE DEVIL.

Did some lawn mowing. Tried something new for breakfast pancakes using cottage cheese. It increases the protein. I painted a background; it is drying. For me to finish it, I need some LIQUID MASKING which should be here this upcoming week. Plus, hubby and I made chili today, and we have cornbread with it.

It's time for me to get back on my granddaughter Claudia's quilt. I need to line up some embroidery floss. She will be seven in August. The rate I'm going, she could be a grandmother herself. And I doubt I will be around.

The other thing I like to work on is some downsizing.

The musician featuring is from SOUTH DAKOTA. The singer SAM OUTLAW was born in South Dakota. The song I like to share is song TENDER HEART. And here is the LYRICS.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

  8. I really like the image at the top of your post! From my own readings about Picasso, he does seem a bit odd. But, I do think his painting philosophy is very interesting and like many of his works.

  9. Some of those artists were terrible people. And sometimes that does influence how we look at their art.

Hot and it might drop down into the 80's in a few days. My clothes and such is sticking to me like glue. Look like both of sons are...
