Today Is Monday, May 8, 2023; This Is What Happened

As many of you know, I have been reading “The Diary Of a Young Girl” By Anne Frank. What I find notable is how she can find to write about. Day after day, they’re stuck, or should I say hiding. I have trouble coming at a time to find something to post about. I get out daily.

Today I took Regis to get his steroid shot in his hip and back. It only took a short while. So when he was in the back. Took a walk around the building. And went into the waiting area and read my book.

We stopped at the Regis library and got some movies. I return items.

We got a bit to eat at Connie’s, a local cafe that has been there since I have been around. I had a Reuben and a small side of potato salad. Regis had a strawberry waffle and a side of bacon. I have to give my potato salad a high five.

I came home and asked the Chatbot about books. I gave it a different question with different genres and saw what they came up with.

Here are five they suggested:

  1. Wit and Wisdom Of Winston Churchill, by James C Humes

Je Suis Le Cahier: The Sketchbooks of Picasso

  1. Uncle Tom, by Harriet Beecher Stowe

  2. A Room With One Own, by Virginia Woolfe

Summary and Analysis of The Conservative Mind: From Burke to Eliot By Russell Kirk

Sometimes I let Chatbot pick me some movies to watch.

The following three books I will read are:

Maud: The Illustrated Diary of a Victorian Woman, by Flora Fraser.

Gender Queer: A Memoir, by Maia Kobabe.

Klara and the Sun, by Kazuo Ishiguro

But after that, I’m not sure. Maud is one of my personal books, Gender Queer I will get from a friend, and Klara and the Sun from the library in Sandpoint.

I need to get ahold of Qunella. But, unfortunately, I got my time mixed up with Regis Physical Therapy. So I won’t be able to meet her for coffee.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

Editor Note...Qunella called.

  3. I read Anne Frank in high school and reread it a few years ago. There is a lot of meaning in it. The first time I was in Amsterdam I visited the house.

  4. I read Anne Frank when I was a teenager. I’m rereading it now, and see her so differently.

My parents visited the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam.

  12. Interesting to use Chatbot for picking books and movies. I should try it. I'll need to prime it first I guess with a list of movies I have and books I have.
