Today Is Friday, March 17, 2023; This Is What Happen.

On my way to work this morning. I got stopped due to road construction and rafters of turkey. They were going across the highway. Well, on the south hill of going into Bonners Ferry.

The other day would have been my dad's 119 birthday. I had older parents. My mom was about 35, and my day was about 55 years old when I was born.

Theodore Roosevelt was President, and King Edward VII was king of England when my dad was born.

Yesterday evening I went to my book group down at the Pearl. I believe they were nine women there. It is no assigned reading. Instead, we talk and share the books we are reading. It has been a while since I have been to one. I forgot one of my books, AMERICAN JEZEBEL.

Our community is taking part in INNOVIA. Well, we will be reading two books...I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT THAT WAY and BRIDGES TO HEAL.

It has been a while since I have been book discussion group. My sons might have been living at home.

Not sure if "Bridges To Heal" is fiction or non-fiction. I have only been in one non-fiction book or story discussion in about seventh grade when we all read the Diary of Anne Frank.

I did a little downsizing, picking up, and organizing. I got rid of a few things. One top will be dropped off at the Thrift store. I think it is possibly more to go by Monday. I aim to keep my art and craft supplies in two suitcases.

More on this tomorrow and possibly about clothes closet cleaning.

Art today is from ZAMBIA.

Coffee is on, and stay safe.

  1. I really need to get busy and be ruthless with getting rid of stuff. I open the cupboard doors and just shake my head and walk away instead of getting down to it. Interesting art today.

  6. Interesting, a book group where you don't all read the same book. That is one reason I don't join book groups. A more free form format would be better for me.

  7. Getting organized sometimes seems out of reach here. Hey, we had a big turkey in our yard last week, that's a first for us here.

  8. Our book club disbanded with Covid and we haven’t restarted yet. Hope you enjoy your group!

  10. I like the idea of a book club where you just talk books, whatever books you're reading. (Sorry about the above. My computer is being difficult, and it published the comment before I finished it.)

Today Is Sunday, May 19, 2024: This Is What Happened.

I usually walk in the morning, before 8. This time, I went around 11:30. Most of the time, once I finish walking or exercising, my so-called...
