Flabbergasted! That the word to explain price of batteries. The AA ones is what we use the most. Last time I bought AA batteries I paid for box a 24 was around $30. Now there $47. Amazon. Today Hubby and I went to the store and got some items. I check quickly price lithium batteries, for 2 AA they was $8. There quite a few loose batteries in bottom junk drawer.
Still put out yard items, notice the deer been hard on my flowers, frustrating. Got my bullet journal sat up for the week.

Now I'm going to anther factor from GENOMELINK. Going to talk about CELLULITE. Yes. I have it. When I was a lot younger it worried me. I want long lanky legs. Don't think I'm going to get them. Unless they add extension in my leg bones. Sound way to costly. Statement time....I'm not that vain.
Order my first REPORT, I got the nutritional one. 5 foods they recommended for me is fatty fish, milk, dairy, eggs, beef liver, vegetable oil, nuts and seeds. Strange think is the milk and egg I have intermediate allergy risk. Later on there will be adult lactose intolerance. That will be interesting. Because I thought all milk allergies was the lactose.
Dinner to night was taco salad. Tried French dressing and wow. Great taste.
Now it time for three blog comment talk. My first comment came from LAW OF GRAVITY and her comment she left and I'm going to respond: From what I remember from my Girl Scout days. Flying a flag upside down meant indicate distress. That may not be how they intending it to be. Or maybe they are....I would lean to thought of flying a flag upside around here is for distress. First time I seen upside down flag, when Obama was in office. Actual it was one of my old clients, she married. And he hung flag upside down. Someone knock on door and wonder if they were ok. Well she divorce him. Plus his political ideal got out of hand. I heard some more liberal area, flew flag upside down, during Trump reign.
Let move on to the second comment, which comes from BELIEF IN MY SELF and here is her comment: Setting up a new phone is pits! I do the same thing when I'm stress I turn to sweet....I didn't grow up with all this techie stuff. My parents had a set of world books. No calculator was aloud in classes. Plus they were expensive. At home I eat less sweet than when I'm at work.
Now time for last comment. The third one comes from ISLAND MUSING: I reach for chocolate though I am improving in that regard...I'm working on my tools and plan to get in line.
Today Artist is TARSILA DO AMARAL and she from BRAZIL

Looks like abstract art
ReplyDeleteInteresting art today
ReplyDeleteI don't like the art today. Long and lanky legs aren't for everyone, I'm just happy to have legs that work. Too many of my neighbours have hips or knees that don't work anymore. Some have replacement hips or knees, but they still can't do everything they used to do when they were younger.
ReplyDeleteI am used to prices you mention being much cheaper than ours, but it seems not with batteries. They are so expensive.
ReplyDeleteMy partner puts on the table for salad, mayonnaise, French dressing, Italian dressing and a honey mustard dressing. I don't know why. He always uses mayo and I use the honey mustard.
The prices on everything have gone crazy. Inflation sucks.
ReplyDeleteI try to buy batteries when they’re on sale and just stock pile for Christmas
ReplyDeleteIf they get much more expensive I don’t think I’ll be using my battery lights until Christmas Eve
