Since I am watch the results come in from our election.
Question time...What sort of carefree activity would you like to do and why?...The two I come up with...Do you recall those horses in stores, They cost dime to ride. I would like to actual ride one again. Not even sure there around anymore...The things is go to park where there the children area with swings, slides, stepping blocks, walk the plank, and such. Go on them and have fun. All these items brought joy into my life. I guess it got my serotonin kicking about.

Oh, such innocent pursuits. I used to love the swings. We had a swing set in my backyard.

I'd like to get on a Merry-go-round and take about six rides, switching horses after every ride.
ReplyDeleteI want to go walk on the beach barefoot, let the ocean roll over my feet, sinking in the sand. But the Pacific ocean is very cold and one needs a hot day to enjoy something like that.
ReplyDeleteI remember those Horses, they still have some of those Coin Rides around here in front of certain Grocers and Ninety-Nine Cent Shops. I used to Love riding the Carousel with my Children and Grandchildren... still Love the Artwork of the Carousel Horses and other Animals. Frivolous Carefree Activity right now would be to walk along a Beach and look for Natural Treasures washed ashore. We have no Ocean here in the Desert... just lots of Sand and no Traveling due to COVID. *Sob*

ReplyDeleteAs soon as it stops raining and the sun comes out I want to go to our animal park. That's the only thing which is open except the buildings with the exotic animals ! But bears and tigers are enough for me to destress !
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the other day of these quarter fed cartoon boxes we had at our local mall - like a photo booth but it played movies. They would play short woody woodpecker type films. Those were so fun.

Carefree activity? I would like to wander the beaches here, seeing, hearing and smelling the ocean soothes me. If I lived closer to the coast I would do that every day.

ReplyDeleteYou have to come to our Malaysian malls. we still have those hard plastic horses, little engines and cars that you put money to ride on. Our little kids still have fun riding them and so did I too when I was little. I will walk in the rain without umbrella or rain coat and jump into all the puddles.
