Shopping is done. The items our in my car and it not going to hurt to have them out over night. I came home from work when it dark. Plus it finely cold here. Over year I am more picky about weather. It either to hot or to cold. It's me, the ideal weather would be in San Francisco. But my pocket book won't aloud it.
Not sure if it lucky. But I hit my daily allowance of Calories, today were 2,204 and I like to keep it at 2,000 to 2,310
But my main concern is getting enough vitamins and minerals.
Today will be my last day for week of naughty foods.
I meant Quellnea at Under the Sun and bought my self a Seattle choc bar.
I have most trouble with getting my steps in. My goal is to get in 7,500 and now I am at 4,742. There is more time to get a few extra steps.
Coffee is on

Oh yeah, the struggle to keep the calories down and the step count up. Easy to say hard to do.
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought the picture was caramel brownies, now I see it is peanut butter on crackers. Calories are tricky things to keep track of, so I don't bother.
ReplyDeleteYay on getting your shopping done!
ReplyDeleteThis time of year it’s very hard to stay within your calorie count, hard to find time to get in all your steps. Do your best but don’t beat yourself up.
ReplyDeleteIn this nasty weather I have trouble with my steps, too...
ReplyDeleteAnd I dread the shopping, Hubby wants to make meat pie, so we need fresh meat, argh!
Foods aren't naughty...
ReplyDeleteI'm not liking the cold, either. Of course, what we consider cold here gets laughed at other places.
I'm a step counter but not a calorie counter. Good luck with both!
ReplyDeleteAlways nice to know that the Christmas shopping is finished and such a relief.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing well Dora. You try your best without stressing yourself out. This is important. The holidays are especially hard when one is trying to count calories.
Have a lovely Christmas 🎄☕🎅
I live a LCHF lifestyle and don't count calories-
ReplyDelete"When it comes to weight, calories are often talked about but frequently misunderstood. Indeed, whether counting calories is actually useful for weight loss is debatable. More to read/learn about calories and their role in weight regulation on low-carb and keto diets.

Have a Happy Holiday Season
All the best Jan
Steps get counted a lot here, lots of days it's a pretty good number but sometimes the Mom and Dad are just happy when the number has a comma in it.
ReplyDeleteI never counted calories, I am lucky in this regard.
