Wednesday Meme Number Sixteen

Before I move on to my memes that I do on Wednesday, post what I spend today $10.60 on hubby meds, $4.00 for lunch at hospital and a few groceries $14.09. So a total of $28.69 if my math is correct.

My photo for WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Now for letter I will be where I was born. Here our local hospital I were born but it been remodel a few times. Last year they delivered babies was in 1988, 30 years ago or those who can't make it to Sandpoint.
For more I photos click ABC WEDNESDAY

Haven't had the nerve or time to tackle both words, But I will be tackle the first set which is hitch, quack, curtains, deplorable, mundane, and ravelled.
Our host is MUTED MUMBLINGS

Fay and May both lost there husband in last few years. There small retirement check wasn't all that much, so Fay decided to try to sell her place and move in with her sister on the other side of town.
Well both of ladies had done a ton of quilt and never sold a single one and usual they were given away as gifts.
But as she was cleaning out closet she found a bag of her late husband Chris flannel shirts and she decided to go though them and actual they were in fairly good shape. But mainly around the elbow, cuffs, and the very bottom it was starting to RAVELLED and she knew a little trimming and she figured she could make 2 rag lap quilt that would be good for two of her great grand sons.

But soon the phone rang and it was her sister May and since Fay lost her husband she been trying to get her sister to use her doctor.
But Fay feels that the doctor her sister use is "QUACK"

Well May husband actual been gone a little longer then Fay husband and her place start to fall a part.
But it seem May had a little trouble adjusting to widowhood. She seem to be in a MUNDANE mood but her children was quite concern and helped her though this time of grief.
Although her DEPLORABLE  neighbor who had no empathy would take advantage of her and this is anther reason the two sister would be living together, both of could keep an eye out for each other.

Fay was waiting for her brother son David to come and take the CURTAINS  and she wasn't sure what she want or need to keep.

Editor Note...This is a fictional store.

Coffee is on

  1. You're a good storyteller, Dora. It's fictional, I know, but I still am curious about the deplorable neighbor's doings.

  4. A very good story using the words. I haven't even begun mine apart from the first sentence. Usually I spend Thursday writing and post it on Fridays, but been too busy today. Have to write after I clean up the kitchen from dinner.

  5. Our hospital no longer delivers babies and last year they closed the rooms too so no one can even stay overnight. We have an ER and day surgery, that is all. Nice story. Thank you for the coffee :)

  6. Loosing your hubby must be the worst thing in the world. I told mine to never do that (and he´s 7 years older than me).

  14. It's nice that the sisters still have each other. In our family, MawMaw Mary and her sister lived together and helped each other for many years.
