Photo Hunt (Stripes)

I know it isn't the best day to take a picture for the hunt. The theme for Saturday the 8th of October was Stripes
As part of our local Library There huge flag flying which is called veteran park
My dad side been here way before their was no United States even before the 13 colonies. So they seen the stars and stripes change a lot. Every since I was born there been 50 states. So there haven't been any states add to the union.

As we were out getting wood I look across the way and seen a line of larch turning gold. It look like a stripe among the green pines

Murphy and I went up to Myrtle creek area to get a load of firewood. Statement time...I been feeling a bit depress I been trying to see things more on positive light.
I know no one want to hear me grumble and complain about doing home/personal care. Confession time...I don't even want to hear my self
We had part of box of pairs which was starting to go bad and we empty the box of pairs out in the mountains. So we drove a short distance up the road and there was a “black bear” oh it look so cuddly. I have to say after seeing the bear sort of brought me out of my funk sour mood.
Well we got up to the cutting area and I spot the first dead larch which just died a short time ago which was green and heavy. So we did anther small larch and snag to finish out the load.
There something of being in the Mountain where there Alpine firs. It reminds me of “yule” wonderland. I find it tranquility watching the leaves and needles of larch fall so gracefully.
Yes I have to say being in the Mountain help my funk mood.

  2. Mountain air would do every time for me when I'm in a funk. How exciting to see a black bear. Still I don't think I want to see one. I can't run fast enough to get somewhere high to climb. :-) I like seeing the flag for one of your stripes photo.
    Su-sieee! Mac
