Thanksgiving stuff is resting up for 2007

As of yesterday I’m up to 11,520 words on my great blogger novel. Gee I hope I haven’t got you laughing to hard

We stayed home and arranged our living room differently so I can put up our Christmas tree and took down the few Thanksgiving decoration.
I’m not one to go into the retail stores and start my holiday shopping on black Friday. What I see on Television news and how people acts. Honest time..It scares me to see people push and shoving for some item. I guess I’m just not that greedy.
My friend Alice makes Jellies and Jams and sells them about and I bought 2 jars.

If you haven’t notice I change my template to a holiday theme but I need to finish it off.

  1. I had heard that in the States, the busiest shopping day was the day after Thanksgiving. Over here in Canada, it's Boxing Day, the day after Christmas! I won't even attempt to go shopping on that day, I value my life too much! lol Can't believe how some people will act, just to save a couple of dollars!!

  3. The day after Christmas is bad too, Pea but it's largely because of returns (along with half price sales of course).

I'm glad I'm not the only one boycotting Black Friday, Peppylady.

Thanks for your comment. The CA Nat'l Guard is helping the border patrol down there. Jim may keep doing it until he retires in a few years. His Nat'l Guard and Reserve time counts along with 8 years regular Army. He went in at 17, had a brief break but he must be at around 18 years total now.

I was asked a question: Why list eight things when you're planning to only complete four? It's simple; it goes back to MURPHY LAW...
