Aunt Marjorie

After battling cancer at home, Marjorie Lorraine (Hylton) McCalmant went to be with the

Lord Friday, February 22, 2019. Marjorie was born January 22, 1929 to Golden Lee Hylton and

Lulu (Marcy) Hylton. Marjorie married Vern McCalmant October 24, 1946. She found true joy in

her family, her gardens, her flower beds as well as in serving and entertaining others.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 72 years, Vern, as well

as sons Doyle and Patrick. She is survived by brother living (Moscow), sister living (Moscow), sons living (Bonners Ferry) and living (Coeur d’Alene), honorary sons

including nephew living and living, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 2

great-great-grandchildren.

A going home celebration and luncheon will be held at Grace Bible Fellowship Saturday

March 2nd at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Auburn

Crest Hospice 6371 Kootenai Unit 4 Bonners Ferry, ID 83805

Sure didn't wear my fit bit zip. March could be better...February I did 42,354 and daily that would be 1,512 step. See a lot time I forget to put on my fit bit zip and or record what of done.

Creative and Beautiful Meme Number Twenty

Once again for PAINT PARTY FRIDAY and slowly showing my tarot cards I have done. This one is the devil. Most who isn't familiar with tarot when the devil, death or tower card comes up. Tends be the lease uneasy.
Usual I post about negative and positive on each card.
But for devil, not. Devil doesn't show there self as you one can see it hiding. You can put your self in negative traps, usual things lives in our head, one might say we all our our own worst enemy. And we let garbage in our life. And also sometime not letting us be a full person.
It our doing with devil we have control or power over what every in our lives.
Once again please remember no one can predict the future. Any reading of tarot one needs to consider the all the cards which our laid out.

   As in my last paint party friday I mention I received my sketchbook for the Brooklyn Art Library. Well I replaced the papers with more of quality paper. And did a little test on different mediums. Sure don't look like the sharpie markers will work.

No we're not in Kansas and no tornado is coming. Just cold and snow. Winter weather sure came in late this year. Spring is in three weeks. Do you recall about either Marches come in like lion or lamb.
Then it could go out like lion or lamb.

Slightly An Over Load

Things got toss around a bit yesterday. I thought I was heading to Coeur d' Alene for Liz appointment and they call and cancel.
So afterward we, which includes Regis was going shopping at Good Will down there.
Well Liz reschedule for the following week.

Then I took Regis down to Sandpoint. We went to Wal mart, Game Store, and Good Will.
Regis at times...I get irradiated at his behavior, that it all most could be hilarious.
Usual when I go into thrift store of any kind. I would say my purchase there would be of frivolous.

For my self I only purchase two items. One was loom and the other were some paper twist. As I was purchasing my items.
Which Regis saw me doing and quickly came up from the back of store. Ask me if I could purchase his frivolous items, just like mine.
It was as I was finishing up my purchase and I was pulling out my debt card.
I told him no, that my purchase was done.
That I was heading out to car. So in a short time Regis came out, with items that he want me to purchase.
Although not sure if he bought them out right out or found some other push over to get them for him.
All of his items were frivolous items just like mine.

As for what I want to do with my items above.
The paper twist I will be using it for my witches ladder. The loom, well it something I always want to try is using a loom.
I find those Navajo rugs and blanket so beautiful.

Well last night I trim up my paper to replace the paper in my sketch book that is part Brooklyn ART LIBRARY
The paper in it is pretty poor quality. I would call it basic typing paper.
But I need to finish the corners on paper. There square and I need to edge them off some how.

One of the pages I will be using a tape measure. Although I believe I will be using my yellow one, since I will be cutting it down to size.
Yellow would show up better on white paper.

Well found a different purse at thrift store and little pouch thing. The pouch item I will be hooking it to out side of it. But need to find a hook like thing to hook it on with.
In little bag I want to add a few crystals.

It seem I keep falling off the wagon when it comes to my weight lost. Although I will get on regular grove when it comes to weight lost. These last few days seem to be a little rough.
I haven't put on my fit bit zip to keep track of my steps.

Well shortly I'm on my way to the doctor for my yearly physical.

Just a Hint

Got it moving forward. January I was going to have three closet clean out. Shouldn't be all that difficult.
One could honest, well lets just fact it out...Procrastinate is the word.

Well after work I did mange to get a box clean out. Out of that box I got grocery bag of items to take to one of the thrift store.
Even a few items I pull out, still had price tag from some thrift store. And cord to an old computer and surprise no one trip over it.
That went into the desk down in basement. And then there were a tub like thing I went though.

Some things went trash can, and other were add to bag that will be drop off at thrift store. Few of crafty tools and which went into my craft box of supplies, that something I will need to go though, but the closet first.

One thing I did fine was bias tape maker and haven't use it. Still in package.

Order a few items from Amazon. One of items were paper to replace in my sketchbook.
Also did a quick sketch lay out of what my first page will sort of look like, after my introduction page.

To Many Question and To Few Answers

My divination tools for my pagan path is usual astrology and tarots. But our small local group is covering crystals and stones.
My knowledge and understanding of them would fit in a thimble and have plenty room.
I understood the basic that crystal form from the earth pressure. But there more to then that. It basic moving atom, ions, and molecules, forming a pattern or some would say lattice.
Confession time...I can be some what a word freak.
Krustallos...ice frozen non movement.
Then we also need to find info about three crystal and one will be our birthstone.
Birthstone is part of 12 tribes of Israel or breast plate for Aaron.
Most update list for present birthstone was made in 1912.
Since I will be briefly covering formation of crystals. I only going to do two, my birthstone Amethyst and the other is howlite.
Which is a newer crystal. When it comes to Amethyst a lot of conflicting information.
I can tell you amethyst is from the word "Not intoxicating" or "sobriety" and it ascension rock.
Then for howlite is known as white turquoise. Howlite a lot less conflicting info. Considering it was first discovered   in 1868 Eastern Canada.
Howlite is attunement stone, and the affirmation "I attune to pure, infinite energy."
Well I thought crystals were pretties, my pretties.
Some I got answered and others I didn't. But I can tell you one thing Confession time...I would need individual holders or containers a lot stones I get confuse

Beautiful and Creative Meme Number Nineteen

My weekly creation and actual I did this card some time ago, two of pentacles. And actual right now I'm working on my Knight of pentacles and a little trouble doing mule.
But let get back to present card.
This card is all about balance, keeping things on level playing field, or maybe having a little two much on your plate.
I would use key word "equilibrium" to best explain this card.
But things could be coming loop side if one didn't pay attention
But remember know one can predict the future, and for a true reading one need to consider the other cards around.
Some of my cards there animals and some people have them as spirit guides.
So I took few minutes and see what duck and rabbit means
Duck as a spirit guide...People with the duck totem have a strong sense of community. Thus, like those with the rat totem, they are a very social people. They do not hold grudges even though they are unafraid to disagree with someone. Folks with this spirit animal are also very good at helping others through their emotional entanglements. Therefore they often follow careers as Psychologists or Therapists. People with the duck totem prefer being in places where they feel comfortable. Consequently, they also tend not to challenge their comfort zones. Moving out of their comfort zone is often left up to the universe. However, the cosmos, on occasion, will pass on a bit of a “cosmic boot” to move them forward. Very similar to the crow and the raven folks with this power animal are very good at staying in the moment and enjoying life in the present.
Rabbit is a spirit guide...People with the rabbit totem are often unpredictable and spontaneous. They also have fast reflexes and good coordination. People with this spirit animal are highly observational and alert, gentle and nurturing as well as intelligent and quick-witted. Furthermore, bunny people are quick to succeed and are highly skilled at success. They are also generous in advising those around them. Folks with this power animals essence can instinctively sense what paths lead to danger, and which roads lead to success.

Wednesday Meme Twenty Eight

Editor note....I thought I would be continue my story from last time I took part in Words for Wednesday.
Do to my life, work and etc a continue story was a stupid ideal on my part.

But I will be glad to take part in the three memes I do on Wednesday I will start with WORDS FOR WEDNESDAY.
This time I will be using the first set of words...bathroom, parasol, furniture, duck, phone, and puzzle.

The three ole friends went over to a place called "Parasol" a local general store that pretty much handle everything imaginable. And even some items that one couldn't think of. No one knew why the story was called Parasol. The family who own it for generation last name wasn't Parasol.

It was Tuesday mid morning and the three ole friend was going to have there mid morning coffee and this morning they had gelato out earlier then usual. The three friends got there coffee as usual, but this time they decided to have a small bowl of gelato. Yes, when they were younger there parents wouldn't let them have any type of sweet prior to lunch. But all of these friends were well over 50.

But as there were about ready to set in little luncheon area they notice that different furniture were place in the bistro.
As the three friends were chatting among them self. laughing and having grand time.
Even loosing track of time. It hit them when there heard a clock chimes rang three times, and this place had duck sounds for clocks chimes.
Over a couple blocks the three friend was going to adventure over to community center. To joining in activity of putting a puzzle together. This was a fairly few activity over at the center it was closed for a while for some addition and remodeling.
They had to enlarge the bathrooms and up date the kitchen.
The friends knew the other two ladies who was sitting up the chairs and table in one of smaller room that looked out in to rose garden. This was the room that the puzzle to be worked on.
There were plugs ins at the center for people to charge there phone. But now they were asking for a token of your choice to charge the phone at the center.

So the three friends and two other sat quietly, small talk about life and they all worked on puzzle. And it was getting close to dinner time, and they didn't get puzzle together and ask the coordinator if they could come back day after tomorrow and finish off puzzle. It was ok. The table with the puzzle was slide in corner so the cleaning people could easily work.

A while back I took part in WEDNESDAY MELODY and this week question is about pets.
1.  Have you ever had a special pet in your life? Will you tell us about it? We always had pets of some type in simple term they were members of family, and quickly became spoiled. Take my word our sons weren't spoiled. Question time...why do people spoil there pets, but not there children

2.  Did you grow up with pets in your home?  What did it teach you? I would say it's a generational thing. My mom had a pet goat. 
A pet can teach one a lot things about life and human nature. I find it amazing what pet can do in area of healing.

3.  Do you ever wonder what animals are thinking? Yes, Confession time but I don't know if I want to know it could be scary.

4.  Sometimes a pet gets out and doesn't return for a few days. What do you think happens to them when they go on a walkabout? See there buddies and socialize a bit.

5.  With cats and dogs being the most popular pets, what is the most exotic pet you have personal experience with (didn't have to be yours)? I've seen some unusual chicken. But I think it would be cool to have otter.

6.  Please tell us something random about your week so far... Sigh up for the sketchbook project out of Brooklyn New York. 

WORDLESS WEDNESDAY

Up One

Weigh in at my local T.O.P.S group and I was up pound. Mid February and by end of March my goal is to be at 197.25.
For some reason getting under 200 pounds just isn't happening.

 With Trump and his shenanigans it been somewhat between laughable and one feathers might be ruffled up bit.
Question time...Why do politics and or religion brings the worst out in people?
BERNIE SANDERS join the possible democrat CANDIDATES. Last election I was for Bernie.
Idaho is CLOSE PRIMARY state and before Bernie came scene I was a register REPUBLICAN and tried to keep those with extreme conservative ideals out.
Actual in last presidential primary here in Idaho. Trump didn't win it was TED CRUZ. But I never thought Trump would every make it to white house.
Reason I change my voting status to a democrat so I support Bernie in 2016
Although not sure what I will be doing for this up coming election. A few times I heard the mayor PETE from South Bend Indiana and I'm impressed.
One of President Trump twitters....I never said anything bad about Andrew McCabe’s wife other than she (they) should not have taken large amounts of campaign money from a Crooked Hillary source when Clinton was under investigation by the FBI. I never called his wife a loser to him (another McCabe made up lie)!
Bernie twitters.... Why does Trump want to repeal the estate tax? Maybe because without it, a majority of the assets held by households worth $100 million or more would never be taxed.
We must reduce inequality, not make it worse. Our job is to increase the estate tax on billionaires like Trump.

Pete twitters....I launched a presidential exploratory committee because it is a season for boldness and it is time to focus on the future. Are you ready to walk away from the politics of the past?

Little later I will be heading to work, and work tomorrow will be a bit hectic. I'll be taking part in my two memes.

Now Before I Head Out To Work

Did some campaign and no not political. I think it would be wonderful for a lot more community got involved with SKETCHBOOK PROJECT and I posted info on some of my local facebook group, and twitter account.
Some might say there not an artist but everyone can create something; a short story, poem, stick figures.
I will be calling mind. "Just Below the Surface" it's as Pluto going though the zodiac signs. Anyhow it will be tilted toward history.

I did put on my zip fit bit. Usual I forget to even put it on. Doing some what better in my water consumption.
My weigh in at T.O.P.S tomorrow. Hope it is good as Sunday home one was.

Figure the fabric I will be using for my next quilt block. This one for an exchange I take part in.

A few items I need to do this week. Well a brief list would be...Info on three crystal and one would be your birthstone. Mind would be amethyst and the other two not sure what I will be doing.
Don't think the quilt block will get done. If it get cut out I will be happy.
I do want to get my knight of pentacles done, and also do my two weekly memes.

Is It Friendly or Not

This might sound a little out there. For last little while I been smelling a sent from long ago. The scent is powder denture paste that one would ad water.
I have no ideal why this scent would show up.
Both my parents wore dentures and this wasn't a product in my parents home. My mom used regular toothpaste and my father just wash his with water.
I had to be someplace at sometime were there was powder denture paste was thing

There plenty of unfinished project in some many things. I'm not going to list them, I would be either bother you or embarrass my self.
 Confession time...I sometime have trouble focusing. 
Haven't yet received my sketchbook for the sketchbook project and I'm already planning what I will put in it.
My first page will be a envelope and I want to put a message "Plant a seed for ______________" and inside of envelope I will have seeds with single positive words. Such as happiness, love, joy, and such. I believe I want 20 words.
Then right before The seed package I want to put either something about my self or what book will be about. I find this difficult.
Then right after the seed page. I'll be doing a page that represent from these words...bondage, exploitation, and suppression. I do know what I'll be doing.
Then the next page I want to do something on, reconstruction, non change or slow to change, and possessive. And I have several ideals for this one or little of nothing.

Got one of my quilt block pattern increase. And you think I've moved forward the simple answer is "no"

Well dinner tonight should be good. We're doing chicken stew. Weight in this morning and home scales number was 200.8 (91.08) and Tuesday at T.O.P.S I want there scales to be 200 or less.
Laundry and other house hold items got done.
