Every so often I will play a long with And I took letter K and built my list 13. And here is LINK to others who took part.
1. K is the 11th letter in our alphabet.
2. K is symbol in chemistry for potassium
3. In the United States we have state called Kansas, that start with letter K. Never been there. My Grandma Olive was born there, and half of her children. She 12 of them. Dorthy of the Wizard of OZ came from Kansas as well.
4. In United States we have a state called Kentucky. One of my 2nd great grandfather came from Kentucky. His name was Milo was born there. Kentucky was confederate state during the civil was and he join Union Army. Also the state is known for horses
5. We have the kooteni river which is and Indigenous word meaning "Water People"
6. Kalispell is anther Indigenous word meaning, "Flat Land Above the lake"
7. Kangaroo, did a report on them in grade school.
8. Kingfisher is a bird. Which one will see by the creeks in the mountain around here, hoping among the large boulders.
9. Kildeer a bird. Which built there nest on the ground among the rocks. Growing up on Berry farm of strawberries and raspberries and it seem there was quite a few kildeer having there next among the berries,
10. Kill, Confession time...I thought of killing a few people. But never have. Came to the conclusion that they didn't deserve to rest in peace.
11. Kale, I do like. it good in soups
12. King was name of my Aunt Beulah and Uncle Lowell Collie

ReplyDeleteI was once in Kentucky when I was 5. I had an Aunt Ruby then. I'm sure she's gone now. All I remember was that it was muggy (and I was wearing a dress I hated).
