Had and wanted to post yesterday. But I was tired. Two of my granddaughter came and visited. They're 6 and 4. They tended art with me. We did mirror drawing. Enjoyed them very much. But they have a lot more energy than I do. Or my husband.
Got my bullet journal set up for the week. My hardest thing I like to accomplish is week is getting one the closet I have listed. Well one isn't a closet. But it is my china hutch.
No doubt I will finish my book I'm currently reading. I got my fingers crossed that my book I'm getting though the inter-library loan should be in this week. I'm getting the book, FLIGHT. This will be my third book I read by, SHERMAN ALEXIE.
Went briefly to tarot and tea. This afternoon. Got roast beef in oven. About ready to start the potatoes, and we will also have pickle beets with them. Keep meaning to get some horseradish. When I was younger someone told me horseradish was ground up horse hoofs. I believed them.
Coffee is on.
I don't think I've read anything by Sherman Alexie, but I've seen his books at the schools. I think there was a movie made from one of his books.
ReplyDeleteLittle kids can be exhausting.
...it's a shame that energy is wasted on kids!
ReplyDeleteSherman Alexei is a new name for me.
ReplyDeleteRoast beef sounds good
ReplyDeleteI've been daydreaming of roast beef lately, now that our weather is finally cooling down, I'm ready for such foods, with roasted vegetables or maybe mashed potatoes and gravy. My freezer is looking empty, so I will soon be making beef casseroles and various soups to put in there for winter dinners. I might even make a couple of apple pies to put in there. My youngest grandchildren, the twins, also have far more energy than I do, they will soon be 3.
ReplyDeleteTime with the grandchildren is precious but exhausting!
ReplyDeleteI bet it was fun hanging out with your grandchildren. And roast beef does sound good. Hope your book is in. hugs-Erika

ReplyDeleteToddlers do indeed have a lot of energy.
ReplyDeleteYeah, kids have a lot more energy than we do
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a fun visit with the Grandkids. Yum, roast beef sounds good.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you are busy. Youngsters do wear a person out.
