I'll share the work of JEAN ANTOINE HOUDON, who was a sculptor. NEOCLASSICISM is the art movement he was part of. I will share three of his works. It looks like quite a few of his works are in the MET.
Let's see what I've been doing. I've been working on the larger guest room. I've pretty much cleaned off the bed. I've got quite a few items to be taken to the thrift store. I should be able to finish the bed tomorrow.I started a bullet journal for January 2025. I didn't get much of it done—just the monthly calendar. I still use a hanging calendar.
I did the tarot cards this morning. I used my WILDWOOD TAROT. Two cards I focused on were Journey (Death) and the Mirror (Hangman) I did some journal writing. I used my book, TAROT FOR DUMMIES, As a writing prompt. Here are the two questions I used. Have you had a near-death experience? I haven't had a physical one. But I have experienced some emotional and mental death. The other question was. How is your perspective shifting? It is fine to see in a positive light.
Coffee is on.
...for the most part I'm going along nicely, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI like your cards. Looks like a nice deck.
ReplyDeleteI like the statues. I have had near death experience, actually died twice and was brought back during major surgery 35 years ago. I don't remember that, but I remember waking up after.
ReplyDeleteDora, if you like many of Jean Antoine Houdon's work you must go to the Met one day...or a few. Yes, it is that big.
ReplyDeleteYou are getting a lot done
ReplyDeleteThe models' skins are sooo smooth.
ReplyDeleteI hope to finish shopping this week. Time is running out!
ReplyDeleteDoes Tarot really help?
ReplyDeleteDeath has kept its distance so far - I hope I've not just tempted fate! What a busy bee you've been, I really should begin getting ready for the big day.
ReplyDeleteYour tarot brings an interesting perspective, doesn’t it?
ReplyDeleteI had a near death experience from asphyxiation. I had backed into a snowbank and blocked the exhaust pipe. Fortunately someone thought I was driving drunk and called the police. I would have died had they not.
ReplyDeleteLovely sculptures of course ~ thanks,
ReplyDeleteWishing you good health, laughter and love in your days,
