Today Is Sunday, November 17, 2024: This Is What Happened

I've been looking through Wiki Art on Egyptian art. As I was looking at it, I started to wonder what the Egyptian view of Hebrew slaves and Hebrew people who lived among them was. The only story I heard is from the Old Testament. So, most of the videos on this were from the Jewish side. But I did find one VIDEO

I was surprised at how long the Egyptian dynasty lasted. It started in 3150 BC, which is a little over 5,000 years ago—a long time ago. It went on to 640 AD before the Julian Roman calendar. The videos I watch talk about the Roman Egyptian period.

After watching these videos on Egyptian hieroglyphs, I thought it would be fun or interesting to make my own hieroglyphs.

Yesterday late afternoon, I went and visited Liz. It was her Birthday—she turned 65. And I went down and had a glass of wine—a small glass, a very small glass I saw two small painting that I liked  at  TEA SCARLET. I'm considering getting them for Christmas gifts. But the budget is still tight, even when the lawn mover is paid off. Send them the last payment around Wednesday. Murphy and I have teeth cleaning next month, plus property tax.

We got our first snow, about 2 inches, and it's melting. I got my to-do list for the coming list. I list eight things and figure out if 4 get completed or worked on. It's all good.

I don't know how well anyone would see the quilt block, so I started embroidering.

Coffee is on.

  4. The Egyptian period is fascinating. It lasted a long time.

  5. The best archaeology is that the Jews in Egypt or their flight was not really a thing. Of course, there was always slavery but not like all of Israel in slavery. Just what I have read and heard for what it's worth.
