A few days ago, we woke up to snow in the mountains. By now, we usually have a skiff in the yard.
This morning, Murphy and I went to two stores: an auto parts store and a grocery store. At the auto store, we bought a quart of oil.
The snow blower needs just general maintenance. Like changing the oil and checking the grease.
For food, they had a bake sale today. You could pick up $76 worth of food. Roast beef was on sale for $3.98 a pound. I'm going to cut the roast into 1/3. Ended up cutting 2 package of stew meat.
I just finished my second art journal, which took me about nine months to finish. I thought of sharing three pages.
I don't care for it.
Here is the one I think is in middle of the road.
I like this one.
I hope to get a walk-in shortly.
I'm hooking up with SKY WATCH FRIDAY., ART FOR FRIDAY.
Coffee is on.
...the snow looks beautiful, but I'm not ready for it.
ReplyDeleteThat’s a great photo!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice photograph.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Your art is very nice. Hey, the snow up on the mountain tops sure looks pretty!
ReplyDeleteRoast beef at 3.98 is a wonderful price, even if it is pot roast.
ReplyDeleteA snow blower is a wonderful thing. Thanks for the reminder to check on ours. It has t been used in two years, it never snowed last year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and art.
ReplyDeleteSnow already? Great to get meat on sale and freeze it for later.
ReplyDeleteYou have an amazing view! Good for you finishing your journal
ReplyDeleteGreat scene.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo! The snow-capped mountains look amazing. Love your artwork too!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of the mountain.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mountain view. I like the 2nd painting that you shared. It's so cute and perfectly depicts the weather where I live.
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting some roast beef for quite a while now.
ReplyDeleteWorth a Thousand Words
Keep up, Dora. Great job.
ReplyDeleteI read that Denver had serious snow on Friday. Stay warm,
ReplyDeleteYou're on your 2nd art journal?? I can't even get thru one. My eye is too critical of my own work. Maybe I'll pick it up again. - The snow on the mountain is beautiful. I'm waiting for it to come into the valley so anytime you'd to send some down, I'm ready!
ReplyDeleteIt's a very pretty snow photo. I'm glad I don't live where I need a snowblower! I did one winter in that! Now it's a few days, or in a "bad" year it stays a week and turns to ice piles. Hate that!
