I could swear my head was detached; that was yesterday. I forgot all my art supplies. Wednesday, well, first and third Wednesday. I go to a watercolor class. First, I need to get my stitches removed from my back. Driving to the doctor, I noticed my art bag wasn’t there. Honestly, I was hoping I was putting it back behind the seat. No such luck. After my stitches were taken out. I drove home quickly and got my supplies for my watercolor class.
And went to the group. We talked about reflective listening. The word reflective is interesting at times. It depends on my mood or what is happening in my little world. The word reflective can fall under the harmful and or positive category.
Yesterday, I picked up an Oracle card. “Breathe.” We just need to take a minute or two every so often and ask ourselves. “I’m seeing this right.”
Today, I did a tarot layout. Yesterday was Beltane. Nature is coming along nicely. I find the tarot card Chariot interesting. It is about moving. We all need to ask ourselves the rate or speed at which we are moving. There is a reason for speed-limited signs.
There is undoubtedly a big difference between automatic writing and art. Automatic writing grabs paper and a writing tool, such as a pen or pencil. And start to write.
Automatic art has more options, such as tools and mediums. Do I want to use a brush, a tree branch, or a trowel? Regarding mediums, there are many choices, such as colored pencils, watercolor crayons, or masking tape.
Even to work on a wet or drawn canvas.
Coffee is on.
You are learning a lot
