Thankful for the cover-up and eraser. I did up several pages in my bullet journal. I'm out of white out and used white acrylic paint to cover up my flubs.
Next time I order an Amazon, I will get a bottle of some white-out. It has been a while since I last saw it in a store.
The number or date on the bullet journal is off.
I plan to get some jeans as well. I have some Lee brand shorts. That fits me like I like jeans to work. The code number has changed. I emailed the Lee company and hope they can give me the correct code.
Murphy and I went to the senior center for lunch. They had soups with beans and lots of veggies. Someone donated them some pork and beef. I like to go there on days they serve soups.
On Wednesday and Friday. They have a food giveaway. I got a bunch of Kale. Murphy got some salad packages. Plus, I have some cookies, which I'm going to toss them in the trash. I'm not overly impressed with cookies.
Murphy colored my hair blue. I tried to explain to them how they highlighted hair in a salon. The last time I had my hair highlighted professionally, it ran around $80. I was figuring out how it was going to come out.
I am just going to have to accept the results. Hubby thought when I had my hair highlighted. It was sexy and hot.
I guess senior citizen has the right to be hot and sexy.
I still plan to get a tattoo on my arm in September. I couldn't afford both.
My Aunt Eve called and wondered how many people attended the pie and coffee social after my cousin's graveside service. Three-fourths of the people went to Pie Social.
Then she also wonders how much it costs to put the obituarie in the paper. But my Aunt, like my mom, worried about money.
Then my Aunt brought up her brother Glen, who is my Uncle. Why is his family quite coming to family gatherings? Once, my grandfather Edgar died in 1975. I can pretty much say I never seen that side of the family. I had to ask someone which one has Hans and Jago.
The main reason we didn't come to family gatherings. When we lived in Spokane, it was because of bad roads. I recalled being sick with a stomach bug and missing one of my older cousins' weddings.
Blue? I bet it looks great.
ReplyDeleteA tatoo ?? I really don't like that but that's à question of taste
ReplyDeleteLiking the sound of your blue hair. Have you an idea of the tattoo you'd like? x
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to get around to the idea of getting a tattoo done. What stops me is ... what if I don't like the tattoo later? Wouldn't I have to put up with it for the rest of my life? Or, are there removable tattoos?
ReplyDeleteThe senior’s centre offers great service by the sound of it.
ReplyDeleteWhen my hair colouring started to cost over $100.00, I quite having it done. I quite like the way it is now.
I once came close to getting a tat, but now I am happy that I didn't.
ReplyDeleteI am not a friend of tattoos, but it's your choice. I like the sound of blue hair! Valerie
ReplyDelete..I always told our kids that there is a reason the pencils come with erasers!
ReplyDeleteI checked online and was a little surprised to find that both wite out and correction tape are still used. Now would be the time to buy it as there are still some back to school sales (in our part of the country, school doesn't start until Thursday after Labor Day.) Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you two had a good lunch at the senior center.
ReplyDeleteI dont think I am ever going to be committed to anything so much that I would get a tattoo. Tattoos are such an intimate and personal choice of committing to something for life, at this stage I dont think I have the mindset for the same.
ReplyDeleteYou know, I bet someone has done a YouTube on how to do highlights. It might help for Murphy to see it done?
