Not even noon yet, and it’s 89 outside. They’re a breeze. The last two days, it has been smoky, and one couldn’t see the mountains.
This morning I took in the pickup to get a tire fixed. The tire on the passenger side had a nail in it. As I was waiting for the tire. While waiting for the tire to be fixed, I read some of the current book. “Why I Write” I wasn’t sure about this book. But I’m enjoying it. I went to the food bank and library to drop off some plastic bags.
Hubby and I are attending the community dinner at the senior center this evening. I will give the other bunch of bags to the senior center.
Just before the smoky came in. I noticed there was a lovely sunset. So I decided to take part in SKYWATCH.
Coffee is on, and stay safe.
Very nice sunset
ReplyDeleteI'm saddened that your part of the country is under the smoke once again. I hope it clears for you soon. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteWestern Canada is on fire again! Huge number of evacuations! The smoke will be around for some time I fear.
ReplyDeleteGood sky.
ReplyDelete..89 is toasty for me!
ReplyDelete89 does not sound like a good temperature. Sorry about the smoke, too. Hopefully thing's will clear up and cool down sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteIt is not near that hot here but we have smoke too from several fires. Even with the howling wind it's smokey out. Sorry about the tire. Have a nice evening.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful time at the dinner!
ReplyDeleteHurricane Hillary is churning north along Baja headed to SoCal. You should be getting lots of rain and wind in the next few days. Yes, all the way into idaho ....See "Weatherman Plus" on YouTube for daily updates.
ReplyDeleteThe book looks interesting. Enjoy the sunrise.
ReplyDeleteI'm lost in spam again :(
ReplyDelete114 here yesterday on my shaded porch. North Central TX. Hasn't rained in 2 months or more. My oak trees are all slowly dying. Trying to water them, secretly. Lawn dead. Watering is illegal right now. Our nearby lake level is 60% below full level.
ReplyDelete10 day forecast shows average highs about 106 for 2 weeks, no rain, no clouds.
Last week it was 107 here in Las Vegas and today because of hurricane Hillary it's down in the 70s plus we're getting rain all day.
ReplyDeleteWe've had nice fall weather at night in the Chattanooga, TN area, Starting Tuesday, it'll be right back up to the high 90s. 101 for Wed! Not looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteStay cool!
Great sunset shot.
