When I was at work. I thought of things I could blog about. Now I'm home. I'm drawing a blank. Well, I won't show you the artwork I finished.
No need to beat myself over it. I would do these things differently and come out with more results than I want.
Next month I will be only working 3 days a week. Regis had his personal care nurse review, and now they do it over the phone. Still trying to figure out how it went. Usually, he has around sixteen hours a week.
I will be down to 2 days a week when July comes around. Mainly, Regis needs more help than 2 days a week. With those limited hours, he will be hallucinating more. I try to keep him out of his own head.
Liz is doing really good.
I have a couple of things I want to bring up. With my therapist. About feeling torn apart. And self-sabotage. I like to find words or self-talk using EDMR.
I start using the term merit instead of value. I am more comfortable with the word merit over the word value. Amazingly, a simple word term can make a difference in one well being.
Another word I'm uncomfortable with is "worthy," and words I come up with to replace worthy. To me, they sound snobby. But I'm sure after I talk to my therapist. We can come up with it.
Today's artist is RAFEL BARRADAS, who is URUGUAY.
I really hope there is someone to replace you with Regis, he seems to need more care each week than Liz.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they'll find someone for Regis.
ReplyDeleteYou may feel upset about the care Regis receives, but he is not your responsibility and so don't feel guilty.
ReplyDeleteThe world, and our minds, are simple yet complicated places.
ReplyDelete...words are important!
ReplyDeleteRetirement is an adjustment
ReplyDeleteAt one point you can't do everything alone anymore. I went through hell for 5 years and now I only recover slowly slowly. Be careful.
ReplyDeleteDo take care of YOU ` no one else can ~

ReplyDeleteSometimes I'll write notes while at school so I can remember what ideas I have for blog posts. But that doesn't work when I'm moving about and busy teaching and such.
ReplyDeleteI liked the art. Work winding down is good. More time to focus on you. I have heard of the type of therapy you mentioned. It can be difficult but helpful in overcoming trauma.
